i . You may still know me from @asynjja and @conzierge. I'm a huge nerd when it comes to rambling about the concept of fate in books and while I unfortunately no longer read as much as during my high school years, my winter break has come and I'm huddled up with The Eye of The World, so of course I had to make a low-activity roleplay account for my short queen with dark brown eyes.

ii . General rp etiquette applies. I'm a fairly chill person with a questionable interest in making my muses suffer, as such I typically allow mild versions of godmodding if it makes sense. I follow blogs for two reasons : a . to interact, and b . to read. I welcome people rambling about their muses at any time of day and prefer that vastly over smalltalk or an awkward "Hi :)" in my IMs. I'll try my best to initiate the first conversation! But if all else fails, you can just break the ice by sending me a meme.

iii . I work full-time as a lab assistant! Most replies will come queued for the sake of my sanity and also to minimize post dumping whenever I do end up writing. This blog will be of low activity, my discord servers typically come first, and while I can offer discord as a platform to plot and/or potentially write, I greatly prefer tumblr IMs at the moment.

iv . I write Moiraine as semi-openly bisexual, as in : she doesn't deny being attracted to women but is not in a position to have a stable dating life. I will not write her as "mothering" Rand. I know that the more popular version of their relationship in the fandom is platonic-familial, and I will tag any romantic content written with @trachho with age gap cw if requested. On that note, I will neither write romantic nor sexual content with muses or muns below the age of 18 and vastly prefers mutuals to be over twenty-one.

v . As for triggers, I tag the most common ones if graphically described or reblogged as pictures with trigger cw. You don't have to give me any explanation on why you would like something tagged if we're mutuals. Likewise, I would like to refrain from pregnancy plots altogether and would prefer if my mutuals tagged pictures of clowns lol? I'm otherwise open to darker subjects in writing as long as they're thoroughly dealt with and typically prefer not to put anything under a readmore.

vi . Other fantasy fandoms I'm part of are : Lord of the Rings, including Rings of Power, A Song of Fire and Ice ( I've only read the first book though ), The Mists of Avalon, Bartimaeus, Elric of Melniboné, Baldur's Gate, Diablo, The Elder Scrolls ( joke's on me, I've only played ESO ) ... and I'm willing to adapt to anything if given the opportunity to!

How long have you had your writing Tumblr/Writeblr?

My writeblr has been alive since around 2022 or something. I can’t be 100% sure because I just turned my regular blog into a writeblr one lol

What led you to create it?

Two things – I really wanted people to talk to about writing and I wanted to start taking my writing seriously. Cryptid is my favorite person in the world but he’s not a writer and doesn’t *get it*. I wanted other writers to talk to and be weird with about our stories. And having outside accountability in the form of posting about my story on my blog is exactly the kind of low-stakes drive I needed to keep writing.

What’s your favorite thing about the Writeblr community?

Just how supportive and nice and welcoming people are. It’s really easy to feel like you belong here. And all you have to do is be a little weirdo obsessed with your oc’s, because everyone else is doing the same thing and cheering each other on. It’s truly lovely.

What’s one thing you’d like your mutuals to know about you?

I have what I call a ‘feral cat friendship style’ where it takes me a long time to warm up to someone, but once I have you will *never get me to leave*. I’ll start leaving dead mice & memes at your door, just you wait.

Is there anything you’d like to see more of on your dash?

I genuinely love when people are just Weird about their characters. It makes me more interested when people pop in just to say “character x would eat Weetabix with no milk for breakfast” because now I need to know what the hell is going on with that character. I don’t even care about the important facts anymore. I just want to know what weird little thoughts y’all have about your ocs.

What tips/advice do you have for someone who made a Writeblr today?

Completely unoriginal but honestly just be yourself and have fun. There’s no point in anything if you aren’t enjoying it. Follower counts don’t matter, the number of likes or reblogs you get don’t matter. All you gotta do is start posting about your writing. If you want to make friends, the easiest way to do that is to join in on tag games or the weekly ask games writeblr plays. (tag games are also great ways to find more people to follow.)

WIP It Good

Which Works-In-Progress (WIPs) or writing projects are you noodling about, lately?

My big writing project is Shapeshifter. It consumes all of my waking – and some of my sleeping – thoughts. But within that I’ve currently got two stories going: Into the Storm and The Runaway. Both are set in the same world and have some overlap of characters, but The Runaway takes place about 5 years after Into the Storm. It’s fun because ItS is more of a typical urban fantasy mystery/intrigue while Runaway is hardcore a romance story. Switching genres while in the same world is really fun.

How long have you been working on them?

Technically, I’ve been working on The Runaway since 2014/2015. I made one of the main characters, Dean, around then, but I didn’t do a lot with him or the world until 2019 when I ‘officially’ started the Shapeshifter project. I usually lean towards saying I started it all in 2019, unless I want to be dramatic and talk about the ‘full story’...

Do you remember what inspired/what got you started?

Ah, dammit, the full story it is. SO. Baby K was really into internet rp forums as a teen, and had just graduated to one-on-one rp. Along comes a girl who wants to make an rp about shapeshifters – humans who can turn into many types of animals – and Baby K could not be more enthused about this idea. That’s how Dean and Temperance got started, and where they remained for many many years. Eventually not-so-Baby K gets tired of the girl they’re rping with contributing absolutely nothing to the worldbuilding and strikes off on their own.

I joke that I took Temperance in the divorce. It’s okay though, that girl will never read this and if she does she can talk to my lawyer about it.

How much time, in your best estimation, do you spend thinking about them?

All of it? I plastered my bedroom/office walls with Shapeshifter. I plastered my *ceiling* with Shapeshifter. I bought stickers for the laptop I’m currently typing on that remind me of Shapeshifter characters. I am deeply, deeply mentally unwell about this story.

When someone asks the dreaded, “What do you write about,” question, what do you usually say?

I’m working on an urban fantasy story about three shapeshifter friends who inadvertently become ‘fixers’ for their community when the authorities turn a blind eye.

What do you want to say (if it’s different from what you do say)?

I spend the majority of my life writing about three queer disasters who also happen to turn into animals sometimes, and the problems they get into that are only occasionally due to the fact that they turn into animals sometimes.

Depends on what kind of unhinged you’re looking for. The fun kind? Warrick. The ‘actively harmful’ kind? Lucian Bardem.

Who comes the most naturally for you to write?

Kerr, Jay, and Warrick. These three live in my head so much that sometimes they commentate my life. It’s not nearly as entertaining as it sounds.

Do you ever cringe at them?

*Constantly*. They are disaster people. I love them.

How much control do you feel you have over your characters?

About 60%? I know where the story needs to go and what I need the characters to do, but I leave them a lot of room to decide how they want to get there.

Do you enjoy people asking questions about your characters?

ABSOLUTELY. Ask me all the weird questions. I’m slow to answer because my life is hectic af, but I love getting questions about my idiots.

On Writeblr Engagement

What makes you want to follow another Writeblr account?

I’d say ‘vibes’ but that’s a copout answer. I don’t go off someone’s intro much besides seeing what genres they’re into and if they’ve got any glaring red flags for something I might not like. Mostly I notice new writeblr accounts because one of my mutuals is interacting with them and they seem cool. Then I do a quick scroll through their blog to check out what they do/interests they have/how they interact with others. Like I said, it’s vibes.

What makes you decide against following?

If someone is too self-absorbed – ie doesn’t interact with anyone, talks about their work like it’s the next Great Novel That Will Change The World. I don’t want to deal with that in my tumblr space.

Do you interact with non-mutuals often?

I try? I’m not very good at remembering to look outside my little circle, especially when the burnout and anxiety are bad. Like now...

Do your mutuals’ characters occupy space in your noodle?

I’m sewing dolls based on my mutuals’ characters. They’ll have multiple outfits and tailor-made accessories. I’ve had *dreams* about some of my mutuals’ ocs. I can be just as mentally unwell about my mutuals’ characters as I am about my own.

Drunz. I am down so bad for them in every possible way. Platonic? Check. Romantic? Check. They are my bread and butter and I will never shut up about them. So. Y’know. You’ve been warned haha.

Rivals Duo. They mean so much to me. I love exploring their relationship and diving into the potential they have not only in canon, but in AUs! Which… I write a lot of. You’ll often find me sliding characters into apocalypse, royalty, and sci-fi AUs in particular.

Literally anything to do with the Dream Team. Seriously. These silly little block men are my favorites. Their dynamics (both in pairs and as the full trio) are delicious, even more so when you switch things up with XD, HD, and PVP.

Also!! Found family dynamics include, but are not limited to: Puffy and Dream, Eret and Ranboo, Techno and Ranboo, George and Ranboo, Punz and Purpled… Basically. Approach me looking for found family and I will throw any of my muses your way. Literally any of them.

"BUT WHERE IS HERE, JOHN ?" Annie's voice was laced with concern. Her chestnut hues were wide and filled with dread, her features pale, and her body trembled. Great, just great ! Not only was their car broken down, and now completely useless ! But they were lost in this fog—this mysterious fog that had no explanation whatsoever. It caused shivers to crawl down Annie's spine. She wrapped her arms around herself, hoping it would bring reassurance and keep her warm, BUT THE VIBE WAS ALL WRONG—something didn't feel right. Shaking her head, she moves over to John carefully, curled up against his side. Scanning around the area to see if anything could help the two of them, and it's when it appears, almost deliberately coming into view as the fog fades around this large sign that can be seen as clearl as day. The young blonde steps forward, tugging on the sleeve of John's jacket to get his attention. "Look !" Annie calls out with a sigh of relief while gesturing to the sign that is ahead of them. ".... I think there is a town up ahead ! It says-" She leans forward, squinting her eyes. "Welcome to... Silent... Hill.... hm ? I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of the name... but I don't think we have much of a choice do we ? "

However, cuddling, teasing, kissing, and make-out sessions are more than welcome.

4. Please be aware that I have a job that takes up most of my time and energy, and that I have ADHD and autism, and that I might not be able to reply for hours or days on end. While Copiasylvania is meant to be a part of Feyrûn, it doesn’t actually exist in canon D&D. Please be patient with me. I’m here to roleplay, not play Um, Actually.

11. I’m not here to start drama, nor am I keen on being dragged into it, HOWEVER, if you have a problem with my friends, you have a problem with me. Trying to pit me against a partner will result in an instant block.

i have!! i've wound up in a relationship with a couple of them long term and honestly they're amazing been the best things in my life for me. they were so sweet and adorable IC and OOC and i felt like i'd known them for ages even tho we just met. they were easy to fall in love with, even before we were actively shipping, it was just all clicking into place. i think it only took three days to admit we liked each other lmaoooo and now we're living together after 4 yrs and it's great. i got two hands and two arms and i try to keep my heart and mind open to new experiences and ppl. it was really similar to my other long term partner in terms of how we got along and now we are all v happy together!!

i have a hard time DM'ing or reaching out sometimes, it can take me days to get up the courage, and then i get anxiety that maybe i come off too friendly. i always want to join in on the fun with prompts but i get nervous that it's unwanted even if it's open replies... i can also get really really wordy when writing bc i have a constant flow of thought or consciousness going on ahahaha i sometimes also can not read a room even tho i try and text is hard i'm not good at subtext so sometimes nuance is lost on me with muns or i'm not able to tell that they're upset about something unless they tell me they are. i try to be as open and considerate as possible!! but i'm not a mind reader. :(( i also sometimes ask questions directly without understanding sometimes it's being read a very diff way than how I meant it. so please tell me if you want some clarification!! i don't get offended at all if somebody asks me questions, wants to know my feelings, wants to communicate their feelings or needs somebody to listen to them. i welcome venting and reaching out if you're having a tough time even if we aren't writing together

i am a naturally loving and kind person, it can make me very understanding and compassionate for what others are experiencing and going through. i am also considerate and try to make sure everyone is comfortable and having fun even if i can get a bit rambly. i have ASD and sometimes that can be hard for me bc i have a hard time reading others, so i ask a lot of questions, but it's because i care a lot about how the people in my life are doing. even if we're not writing. it's easier to type things to ppl than verbally speak them because my thoughts can get all jumbled IRL i don't have a personal dash i'm just here to write

i don't tell ppl i'm online but i work from home so i can kinda always be online tbh i try not to bother them tho if i think they're busy or got other things to do. i'm a little bit of an anxious person sometimes when it comes to trying to DM ppl but i really do try my best i think what's been consistent for me is having a rough time relating to other ppl who share my special interests (thank you ASD for nothing) and that i can sometimes talk about things no one but me cares about for a minute. i have a lot of personality traits and things in common with Cloud that i'm not always proud of, but i'm working on, and i work real hard to tame every day and in therapy bc i believe in trying to become my best self. i think all of us put a degree of ourselves into our muses and that can make us really amazing at portraying them. i try to do it justice using my own personal experiences and trying to think about how they made me feel, so maybe it bleeds into it a little bit, but that's because i want to make sure i'm doing the best possible job i can at writing out the thoughts and feelings of what i'm trying to convey

we both struggle with autism, communication, anxiety and get kinda depressed a lot but we mask extremely well and tend to try to resolve it on our own. it's understood i think that our problems are our own and that we can't make others responsible for us or how we should go about processing things we need to. i can be a little aloof, sometimes quiet, but i am a lot funnier hehe with a broad spectrum of interests and things i like to do!! i'm a better cook, for instance, and i like learning about history, politics, philosophy, world histories, and mental health. i love musicals and poetry and high fantasy things!! i don't really like or watch much anime, but there's a couple of series i like, but i'm all about gaming and RPGs!! i thought a lot about him today bc i'm writing such a good romance between myself and a Tifa and it is melting me. we were talking about the mental illness that both of them deal with and how they process it together and it's been so sweet aaaa i also was thinking about one of my Aeriths and how the dynamic is different but both are so valid and i love how i'm writing two diff stories in tandem and it's the best

RP Meme For The Mood // Accepting

Apsel leaned against the grand piano, staring up at the extensive mural above him. It was wholly intact; splashes of pale yellow and pink perfectly blended to create clouds during a sunset. A three-tiered crystal chandelier was set in the centre. Bright gold bordered the ceiling, accentuating its beauty. Some of the trim was damaged with age, debris crumbling onto the hardwood floor -- but that was easily fixed and any evidence swept away. It was the least of his worries when he first opened the doors to the ballroom. Decades of abandonment left it in such a miserable state. What was once an area of opulence had been reduced to broken foundations and innumerable amount of dust covering every inch of its exquisite appearance. Any character it had was dulled, disguised by neglect; his heart wept at the sight and he immediately set to work on restoring the ballroom to its former glory. He never quite realised how much work needed doing until he encountered numerous problems - from broken windows to rotten wood - but he refused to back down. Once he began a project, Apsel was determined to finish it. What else would a creature do in their retirement?

Part way through the restoration, he discovered a collection of old photographs hidden away in his library. It was by chance he came across them whilst cleaning, tucked inside an untitled album found within a writing desk. Each depicted various rooms of the castle, revealing their previous appearance in black and white. A blast from the past. Not much had changed since Apsel inhabited it, but they were quite clearly lived in back then. Now most of those rooms were locked and unused; he found it pointless to keep them open when it was only himself living here. But the photograph that grabbed his attention the most was one showing a magnificent soirée within the ballroom. Hundreds of elegantly dressed people were gathered in the centre, dancing with each other and creating a spectral scene from how their movements were blurred. A sense of nostalgia washed over him, remembering the many times he attended numerous social functions throughout the decades. They were a chance to meet others and have fun, forgetting any worries for one night; he could be human for a change. Nobody knew what he was, and nobody cared. His appearance may have changed, but his love of dancing remained.

The photograph helped him to understand how the ballroom used to look, referring back to it every now and again. Many months later, the project was complete. It was like stepping back in time, and Apsel felt incredibly proud of himself for accomplishing such a huge feat. Perhaps one day he would hold his own soirée here. But that was wishful thinking; with isolation came lack of connections, and he only had himself to blame for that. His lamentation was short-lived, however, with the arrival of Jack as he stepped inside the ballroom, reminding the creature that - actually, no - he was not completely alone. From the mountains of Madhee, to his own on the outskirts of Hildesheim, the man was a solid presence in his life. It was something he was grateful for as he welcomed the other to join him, offering a warm smile. Picking up the photograph from atop the grand piano, it was held out for his company to compare between then and now. Other than some alterations for the sake of longevity, it was almost identical. They soon fell into easy conversation, discussing anything that came to mind, but the night was beginning to draw in and there had to be an end. But Apsel was reluctant to do so.

"It seems a shame to restore this ballroom without bringing some life to it," he commented, knowing that once those doors were closed, it may be some while before they were open again. He decided that it was bad luck to leave the room without doing what it was designed for. "What do you say, Jack -- shall we have the first dance in this room?" Holding out his hand towards Jack, his expression softened as it was accepted. With the warm palm clasped against his own, Apsel used it to bring the other man closer towards him, settling his free hand against the small of his back as he began to lead. It was a gentle dance that covered a short area to begin with, but once they found a comfortable rhythm, they moved outwards and around the rest of the ballroom. Had this been a traditional social function, they would have needed to navigate around everyone else, but it was just them -- and it was wonderful. He missed doing this, the specific steps coming easily as though it was only yesterday, bringing back fond memories of his past. But this was now, and he wanted to stay in it for as long as possible. As he guided Jack effortlessly in careful and deliberate circles, he hummed contently as they waltzed in peace.

I'm not entirely against meeting new people, but I do tend to be kinda selective with who I'm letting into my life and on here. IDK. I don't think I ever have. I don't let people into my life that easily anymore. I'm not exactly the same person as I was years ago. It takes me quite a while to warm up to new people, even people I may have known for so many years. I just don't open myself up so easily anymore, and I'm one of the people who tries to keep to myself often just cuz I don't trust people that much and I also feel my personal life is not really that of anyone's business.
