Joe Alwyn and Paul Mescal in conversation for Variety's Actors on Actors (x)
Paul Mescal and Joe Alwyn are literary heartthrobs, having both headlined TV series based on Sally Rooney books. In 2020, “Normal People” put Mescal on the map as a brooding student. And as married actor Nick in 2022’s “Conversations With Friends,” Alwyn’s character became enmeshed in a messy love triangle.
Their latest projects show what else the actors can do. In “Aftersun,” directed by first-time filmmaker Charlotte Wells, Mescal is a single dad who tries to bond with his preteen daughter (Frankie Corio) on a trip to Turkey. Alwyn had a busy year on the festival circuit, playing an enigmatic Englishman in Claire Denis’ Nicaragua-set romance “Stars at Noon” opposite Margaret Qualley, and a medieval uncle in Lena Dunham’s “Catherine Called Birdy.”
PAUL MESCAL: So what’s the name of the WhatsApp group that we’re in?
JOE ALWYN: It’s the Tortured Man Club, I think. It’s me, you — and Andrew Scott started the group.
MESCAL: He’s just on it every day. He’s just on it by himself.
ALWYN: Just messaging himself good mornings. We were both in the Sally Rooney universe and crossed over with Lenny Abrahamson. We were so lucky to have that experience.
MESCAL: Yeah, I think Lenny is one of those directors that definitely formed me. He’s been hugely important in everything that I’ve done since then. Was there anything you took from playing somebody like Nick into “Stars at Noon”?
ALWYN: With “Stars at Noon,” that was such a singular, strange, unusual entry point. I was brought on very last-minute, which was a first for me. I got an email Friday morning saying, “Will you read the script as soon as possible? If you’re interested, Claire would love to Skype with you.” And so obviously I did, I Skyped with her, and she said, “Will you join us?” She was already in Panama. And four days later, I got on a plane. And she was standing outside the hotel with a glass of rum for me and gave me a hug. And two days later, we started shooting.
MESCAL: Oh, wow. Is there something liberating in the process? You probably can’t do the amount of prep that you would.
ALWYN: Yeah, it was hard. At least at the beginning.
MESCAL: Was it just gut feel?
ALWYN: Yeah, and some conversations with Claire. Her way of shooting was so unusual. I can’t remember if I told you this before: She would shoot things out of order, even in a scene. It was very fragmented.
MESCAL: Disconnected and fragmented.
ALWYN: I think she feels things in an animal way and is piecing it together as she goes. And there’s no traditional coverage either. I wanted to ask you, thinking about Lenny and thinking about “Aftersun.” I absolutely loved it. And you’re incredible in it. With the space given to you guys to breathe in a room, and not stuff it full of exposition, and just have the camera rolling in a very real, naturalistic way, it felt quite Lenny-ish. Is that fair to say?
MESCAL: I think it probably is. It was directed by Charlotte Wells, who is going to be one of those directors that we’ll all be talking about. I haven’t come across somebody as assured as Charlotte.
ALWYN: Is that confidence in the script?
MESCAL: The stage directions are really confidently written. I don’t know about you, but I love acting in that space when you know that there’s a kind of theatricality to it, but the stakes are high. We only had Frankie for about four hours a day.
ALWYN: How old was she?
MESCAL: She turned 11 on set.
ALWYN: How much of that is improv?
MESCAL: Ninety-five percent of it is scripted, I’d say. The karaoke scene, for example, was just about getting Frankie comfortable with the idea that an 11-year-old who hasn’t ever acted before is going to have to stand up in front of a camera and an audience and sing “Losing My Religion.” And she does it brilliantly. In the rehearsal, the camera wasn’t working, and Frankie ingeniously went, “That’s OK. I’ll record it with my mind camera.” I remember turning to Charlotte like, “That’s the most brilliant line of all time.” Charlotte wrote it in afterwards. What’s a kind of ideal rhythm for you on set? Well, you’re just investing in Claire Denis.
ALWYN: And you know her use of bodies. There’s a sex scene in the first scene . Her direction was just like Francis Bacon.
MESCAL: Wow, just that? And, go! I’d like to get into that a bit, because obviously I think it’s fair to say we’ve done our share of intimate scenes. How did that experience on “Stars at Noon” differ from “Conversations”?
ALWYN: So different.
MESCAL: Yeah, really?
ALWYN: “Conversations With Friends,” there’s an intimacy coordinator. The scenes are spoken about. They’re rehearsed. Every movement is almost choreographed like a dance or a fight. And they’re quite blocked, even though there’s freedom within it. But I trusted Claire and I trusted the crew. And Margaret, obviously. And you feel safe within that. I think trust and feeling safe is the main thing.
MESCAL: That is the main thing, totally. But it is interesting, with that question, being it’s a hot topic in the industry. I think you’re right that you never want scenes around intimacy to feel stale. But ultimately they have to feel safe. And I think you can feel safe multiple ways, and that’s through trust.
ALWYN: Absolutely. I wanted to ask you, which is kind of off topic, but I remember us speaking before about anxiety and shooting and being able to get outside of anxiety in order to do the job. How are you finding that?
MESCAL: It’s that cursed feeling of, once you feel like it’s disappearing, it comes back and hits you like a ton of bricks. But I was talking to somebody about that. They said, “I don’t think it’s ever going to leave you, because it’s a personality type.” But for me, it’s trying to use that anxiety or fear or fear of failure — repurposing that to be like, “What I’m doing matters to me.” Might not matter to everybody, but it matters to me at that moment. How do you feel about that stuff?
ALWYN: It’s interesting and tricky. Because it gets to a point where there’s a degree to which nerves are completely inevitable and can also be helpful. But at the same time, there’s a danger — and I’ve certainly felt this in the last couple of years — where that can start to take away some of the pleasure and the fun of doing it. So recently it’s been a rethink: Going forward, just jumping in in the same way but caring less in the right way.
MESCAL: Talk to me a bit more about that.
ALWYN: Just trying to find a way to have more fun and sense of play.
MESCAL: I learned a huge amount from Frankie, because Frankie had never done it before and just loved acting. I feel like that’s a good instinct to have as an actor — to try and really get to the center of when you watch somebody act with abandon.
ALWYN: On “Catherine Called Birdy,” Bella Ramsey, who plays the lead, she was 17 when we shot it — probably 15 when she was cast. She’s just going for it. It was the first job I went back to out of COVID, and I remember feeling really nervous because I hadn’t done it for a while. And there was this world of masks. And Lena Dunham was having to direct on Zoom when I joined.
MESCAL: What is a Lena Dunham set like?
ALWYN: She’s a force. And full of energy, positivity, creativity. I think maybe also because she performs herself, she has a good understanding of what an actor might want. She really takes care of people. She will come in and tell you what she liked, or she’ll give you a thumbs-up. And, also, she’s just so funny.
MESCAL: Do you like auditioning?
ALWYN: I’ve come to quite like making tapes. It used to drive me mad.
MESCAL: I prefer being in the room, I find. I feel like my issue when I’m making a tape is that I have too much control.
ALWYN: Do you go on and on?
MESCAL: Yeah. And then it’s hour three.
ALWYN: You’ve got 50 takes to watch, and they all look the same.
MESCAL: It’s an absolute nightmare. What do you look for?
ALWYN: Erotic thrillers.
MESCAL: Same. •

David Browne at Rolling Stone:
OVER THE LAST few years, the Gulf Coast Jam, a multi-day concert blowout held every spring in Panama City Beach, Florida, has become one of country music’s leading festivals, pulling in headliners like Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, and Kenny Chesney. But recently, festival producer Rendy Lovelady has noticed something unusual backstage. “Ten or 15 years ago, everybody would sit in a circle around the table, pull out their guitars and start singing old country songs,” he says. “There was a lot of camaraderie. Whereas now, the camaraderie has definitely lessened. They tend to stay in their own community.” Part of Lovelady wonders if it’s the lingering after-effects of Covid-19, which forced touring performers to interact as little as possible with anyone outside their circle. But it’s also possible that the drop-off in backstage hangtime is a sign of something else: the national culture wars seeping into the traditionally close-knit country community, a space where artists often take pains to refer to their peers as “my good buddy” or compliment one another.
From less personal interaction backstage to public online feuds, country music is slowly being pulled into the same battles that have infiltrated nearly every aspect of American life and entertainment. “It really is weird right now,” says one leading country manager, who spoke on the condition of anonymity given the sensitivity of the moment. “Country music has aways been this kind of neighborhood where everyone gets along. We had everyone’s back. But it doesn’t feel that way anymore. The heels are dug in more than ever. It’s pretty heavy.” The manager has also witnessed the same backstage chilliness that Lovelady recounts. However, he says it is unquestioningly due to opposing political ideologies and beliefs. “I’ve always enjoyed seeing people in the hallways backstage,” he says. “But it’s not like that. You tend to avoid people, because everyone talks politics backstage. Everyone used to leave their dressing room doors open. The doors are shut now.”
The major signs that Nashville is visibly fracturing have all happened fairly recently. In August of last year, country and alt-pop singer Cassadee Pope, and then Maren Morris, took Jason Aldean’s wife Brittany to task for making seemingly transphobic comments. (“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase,” Brittany Aldean posted.) This summer, her husband’s song “Try That in a Small Town,” and especially its controversial music video, led to Americana songwriter Jason Isbell tweeting, “Dare Aldean to write his next single himself. That’s what we try in my small town.” On X (the social media site formerly known as Twitter), Jake Owen, a mainstream country singer, seemed to side with Aldean. He clapped back at Isbell by writing in part, “Jason, you’re always the first to get behind your keyboard and spout off with this stupid shit.” (He since posted that he “came in hot on the conversation because I’m passionate about” songwriters.) The public tiffs also included Zach Bryan, whose duet with Kacey Musgraves “I Remember Everything” is on track to be the Number One song in the nation, taking a shot in April at country acts “insulting transgender people.” The comment was prompted by veteran Travis Tritt’s tweet that he would be “deleting all Anheuser-Busch products from my tour hospitality rider” following a Bud Light promotion that featured transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Bryan, who said that he wasn’t aiming directly at Tritt, later talked it out in person with the Nineties star at a music festival in Texas, with Bryan calling Tritt “a good guy” and Tritt saying, “So glad we had a chance to chat, Zach.”
Although these feuds haven’t dominated the genre, they also haven’t gone unnoticed. “Like all industries, we’re not immune from the external pressures and the world at large,” says R.J. Romeo, president of the Romeo Entertainment Group, a leading talent agency that books country acts. “So naturally, there’s more divisiveness in the country now than ever before. That’s going to show up in opinions on music and everything.” The history of country music hasn’t been without its share of fights and rumbles; ask anyone who’s worked on an awards show or at a festival and you’ll hear tales of artists grumbling about their peers’ egos, sales figures, or place on the bill. In 2013, Zac Brown made waves when he called Luke Bryan’s song “That’s My Kind of Night” the “worst song I’ve ever heard.” They later hammed it up and hugged it out on live TV at the CMA Awards.
Public quarrels over politics, meanwhile, have been as rare as synthesizer solos in the genre. The then-Dixie Chicks feud with Toby Keith, which started when Chicks singer Natalie Maines criticized one of Keith’s songs in a 2002 interview and caught fire after Maines dissed George W. Bush onstage in the U.K. over the 2003 Iraq invasion, was one of the few times in recent memory when open warfare broke out among country artists over political matters. Such quarrels may become more common. “With everything heating up with the presidential race, people are beginning to have very distinct opinions,” Lovelady says. And the shift, involving country stars of different generations and accelerated by social media, has been jarring for longtime observers. Country acts, Romeo says, “all go through media training, and they’re usually very diplomatic or middle of the road with a lot of their responses. But I’ve seen more artists come out of what we call ‘the artist bubble’ and show more of their true self, you could say — or their less polished self.”
Rolling Stone explores how the culture wars are roiling the once-tightknit community of country music fans.

the doctor has spent a good little while wandering around the . . . china - adjacent area? liyue, he's learned it to be called. oh, the city is breathtaking, and the food is exquisite. it's unlike anything he's ever had before— he'd had lunch at a place called xinyue kiosk, and their vegan options had been expansive. he may have overeaten, by his standards . . . stuffed, he is! so he elects to walk his sins off by the harbor. he stands out. he knows he does ( it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see THAT ) , but he doesn't really have any period - relevant clothing in the TARDIS wardrobe, and it's not really his style to change his appearance on account of blending in, anyway. so he lets it be, taking the strange gazes at his fair hair, bright clothes and murmurings of ' mondstadter ? ' in stride as he happily admires the gorgeous waters and the countless vibrant lanterns floating in it. from what he's overheard, the locals are observing a celebration known as lantern rite, and it seems to be quite a big deal! no complaints here. the city is decorated to the nines, the streets are jam - packed, and the doctor is elated to have happened to have crash - landed upon whateverplanetthisis at the time that he has! quite fortuitous indeed to have planted his feet at the peak of the festive season and to have not been kidnapped or murdered yet. his gratefulness cannot be overstated enough! ( oh, foreign ground, i could kiss you! ) color him a bit surprised when he is approached directly by someone, however; a tall, handsome man with fine features, an intense ( yet simultaneously relaxed ? it's odd ) expression, and wise eyes. the doctor himself is tall, so it's not often that he's made to look up to talk to someone. yet, he has to just an eence to make eye contact with this well - dressed gentleman.
❝ hello, there! ❞ he removes his panama hat and offers a bow to the dark - haired stranger, whose youthful appearance and contrasting aged amber hues tell vastly different stories, but he himself is in pretty much the same boat, so. ❝ i'm the doctor. ❞

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Day No. 1, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, Sept. 29, 2023
- Rickie Lee Jones, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, John Cragie, Peter Rowan and others highlight first day
Rickie Lee Jones opened the 2023 edition of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass - and christened the festival’s new, Horseshoe Hill stage - by reading from her 2021 memoir.
And Peter Rowan played country - not bluegrass - music during his late-afternoon set on the Banjo stage.
These were just two highlights from Day One at the long-running festival, which also included Christone “Kingfish” Ingram redefining the blues and John Craigie finding his quirky spot alongside Todd Snider in folk-Americana.
Seated on the small stage set up to resemble a living room and flanked with clothes drying on the line, an animated Jones embellished her reading from “Last Chance Texaco” with playful asides and wise cracks. She talked about how Laura Nyro made her feel connected and how Neil Young made her realize odd voices can be successful voices.
“I like it up here,” Jones said of being on stage. “I think artists sometime mistake the excitement for fear.”
Jones read about hitchhiking through California as a 14-year-old in 1969 as a foggy drizzle enveloped Golden Gate Park. She had soundchecked with a snippet of “The Horses,” but ended her well-received spoken-word gig by playing her father’s composition “The Moon is Made of Gold” solo and acoustic and earning a standing ovation from the small crowd seated in grass surrounded by tall trees.
Afterward, Mr. and Mrs. Sound Bites took in a couple of numbers from Vetiver - think the Byrds with a slide guitarist - on the Swan stage as the blog couple headed for Ingram, who played before an audience of thousands on the Towers of Gold stage.
Borrowing Stevie Ray Vaughan’s tone and adding equal measures of funk and R&B, Ingram and his band were super-charged during 50 minutes of electrifying blues as they continually tore the music down before building it right back up. The guitarist sang of lost love on “Fresh Out;” walked off stage, but kept playing out of sight, to showcase his band on “Not Gonna Lie;” and engaged powerful call-and-response with his keyboardist during the set, which ended as Craigie took to the adjacent Swan stage.
Backed by electric bass and guitar and playing acoustic axe and harmonica, Craigie mixed humorous stage banter with tunes both playful (“I Wrote Mr. Tambourine Man”) and serious (“I am California”). Stage presence and song craft made fans of the Sound Biteses, who got their second dose of Craigie in as many days following the previous evening’s benefit for Camp Winnarainbow.
Bluegrass legend Rowan was the biggest surprise of the day, turning in a country and blues set that found him alternating between electric guitar and mandolin, supported by guitar, bass, drums and fiddle. This was exhilarating, though low volume at the Banjo stage lessened the impact of the instrumental guitar duel of “T Bone Shuffle” and made “Panama Red” -> “Freight Train” -> “Panama Red” sound like they were coming in on the winds from Ocean Beach.
Small price to pay for the opportunity to hear Rowan perform such warhorses as “Lonesome L.A. Cowboy,” “Land of the Najavo” and “Midnight Moonlight” in novel musical settings in the bucolic landscape of Golden Gate Park.

Preamble to the Maligayang Pask-OH SHIP! Mixtapes
Why the name Maligayang Pask-OH SHIP!?
Well, inspo stems from the matching custom Etsy tees that read, “Oh ship! It’s a family trip!,” as well as Christmas cruises. My first one was a 14-day Carnival Journeys cruise with a partial Panama Canal sailing on the Glory in 2022, with a 7-night Very Merrytime Cruise on the Disney Fantasy that following year.
I have several items on Zazzle with that design, which consists of digitally-crafted glitter glue appliqués, of which one of them is a digitally altered photo of a cruise ship I took back in Epiphany weekend 2019. I heavily edited out the ship name and branding to make good with copyright.
Which brings me to the two-playlist canon. Both are inspired in great part by my DM’s ones on her iPod back in the mid-2000s as well as The Grange Festival’s Sounds of Social Distancing Spotify ones. All were curated lovingly by the creative team, especially AD (and heavily-featured countertenor in some of the tracks on both playlists) Michael Chance.
"The choices are, yes, a bit random, but a keen eye might spot some connections," Tito Michael - as I call him, aptly - described the Christmas 2022 Spotify playlist.
"Interspersed between these operatic morsels is a variety of seasonal music, some on the cheesy side, and to balance, some more devotional. One personal connection is track number 2, a Christmas choral spine-tingler from John Tavener featuring a rousing tenor solo, which I first heard sung by our Ferrando in (The Grange Festival's production of Così fan tutte), Alessandro Fisher, when he was a teenager, at his school carol service."
Those two playlists are BEST listened with Spotify Premium, which allows you to listen as-free and offline. The latter benefit can be reaped on an ACTUAL Christmas cruise, and you probably know that Wi-Fi packaged on ships can be pretty pricey. And you most likely can’t even bother using your cellular data onboard, on the open waters, lest you love paying extra roaming fees alongside your folio.

n-Butanol Prices Trend | Pricing | Database | Index | News | Chart
North America
The North American n-Butanol market faced a bearish trend in the first quarter of 2024, with prices slumping by approximately 18%. This decline was driven by low demand from the downstream construction and automotive sectors in the Asian market.
The construction sector's low demand was primarily attributed to the real estate crisis in China and the post-festive slowdown following the Chinese Lunar New Year, which also affected the automotive industry. Additionally, drought conditions in the Panama Canal hindered US suppliers from shipping cargo to the Asian market.
Despite Eastman Chemicals, a leading US oxo-alcohol producer, announcing a price hike, this did not translate into increased export prices for n-Butanol. The downturn in China's construction sector, where real estate developers faced liquidity issues and halted construction activities, led to delays and postponements in inventory procurement, further driving the bearish market sentiment.

Asia
In the first quarter of 2024, the Asian n-Butanol market experienced mixed conditions. Prices saw an inflation of over 7% in the first two months due to increased production costs in the European market and price hikes by major oxo-alcohol producers like OQ Chemicals and Eastman Chemicals. This was exacerbated by OQ Chemicals declaring force majeure at its Oberhausen site in Germany and a shortage of feedstock propylene due to plant shutdowns in Europe and the US caused by challenging weather conditions. The crisis in the Red Sea further increased freight and insurance costs, leading to expensive imports in East Asia.
However, in the last month of Q1 2024, prices declined by approximately 4.5% due to low demand from the construction and automotive industries. This decline eased the demand from downstream plasticizer and paints and coating industries. Demand conditions in East Asia remained unfavorable, evidenced by declines in housing starts and public construction orders. The automotive sector also failed to support the n-Butanol market, with sales continuing to decline in Q1 2024.
Europe
The European n-Butanol market saw a significant price inflation of nearly 70% in Q1 2024, driven by heightened production costs, a scarcity of feedstock propylene, and price hikes by major oxo-alcohol producers. The scarcity of propylene was due to shutdowns of feedstock plants in the US, leading to increased production costs. OQ Chemicals' force majeure declaration at its Oberhausen site in Germany further exacerbated the supply shortage.
Demand in the Eurozone was moderate, mainly from the Dutch, Belgian, and British markets, where construction activities improved. However, in Germany, the construction sector remained in retrenchment for the fifteenth consecutive month, with significant contractions in residential, commercial, and civil engineering segments by the end of March 2024.

REVIEWS
"The wavering images in “Disco” are animated in such a way that makes the movement of the models appear seamless and smooth, which is simultaneously juxtaposed by the scratchy flickering variations in each new sketch, creating an interesting contrast of chaotic disarray and graceful linearity." THE CREATORS PROJECT
"This will easily be one of the most beautiful videos you see all month." AIROWS
"The viewers of “Disco” can gaze at the dancer going from gentle to a more intense pace of the routine, still keeping her graceful, ballet-like posture and moves. At some point, it’s even hard to remember that you’re looking at a bunch of hand-drawn pictures and not a real person’s performance." A PLUS
"This is absolutely gorgeous. […] it feels like you’re watching something completely mind bending." SPLOID
"Despite the wild variety of mediums and techniques used in the hundreds of sketches, the frame to frame continuity almost serves to enhance and accentuate the motions of the dancers." COLOSSAL
"The lyricless song calls attention to the visual aesthetics and provides a unique multi-sensory experience." MADE IN SHOREDITCH

Leverage Redemption Log: The Panamanian Monkey Job
Look i know we're going to Panama because of last episodes ending tease/it being a 2 parter. But can we just agree that sometimes the writers just pull words out of a hat and call it a title? --- Seriously that Location Establishment Font is horrible. The point of an establishing shot is to show the place we're at and that is the opposite of what your font is doing. --- Harry named-for-a-volleyball is returning to his old place of work to be a suitable distraction to let Leverage Inc slip by to steal his old client-list or something. (i think that the team is still "inc"and the big alliance of other teams working with/beneath them is International? feel free to correct me)
obligatory "evil lawyer joke" and we're scarcely a minute in. Parker making Neigh-noises as she removes the horse painting. 10/10. (Lola also gets a 10/10, it would be cool)
Oh the tax-evasion supervault has a brochure, how quaint. ominous mini-spydrone. (It's either introducing Hardisons understudy cause actor is busy, or actually spying? Im betting on its a fake-out) --- Ok the Panama City Courthouse is a phrase with words long enough that it forces the letters to get vertically smaller and make space between the words so we can actually us see between the letters. Which is a mercy, but unless we're about to spend half a season in LLanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch I do expect this font-styling to be a persistent nuisance. (apologies to the Welsh if there's a typo in there.) --- "blackouts, memory loss, deja vu" saw that punchline coming but its a classic.
just walk into the money laundering operation and start burning things. Simple and effective. Sophie seems to think she's getting too old for this, (think she might switch from frontline grifter to a more Nate-like organiser, carry on her husbands legacy sort of thing)
Elliot hears the drone.
Hardisons sister (read replacement) has a really dead stare...
"I teach every kid i meet how to do crime" That you do,
"one of us gets cover blown, they just kill us. But Harry, he reads like a fed. They'd torture him first. Gives us time to save him." You're not wrong Elliot, but you shouldnt say it. --- "I did not go through the trouble of making the only place in the world where its legal to store illegal property for you to cut corners". Time for a security exposition dump Basement has only 1 way in (elevator, or so he claims Parker is a Vent Enthuisiast) On site and off-site camera monitoring facilities (other in the Philipines) (could be a simple footage loop?) No drilling (seismic sensors, easy to trip=Boy Who Cried Wolf protocol. IE: Sheherezade Job.)
7/10 on the Tickle Yourself gag. Reduced to 4/10by the "dribble a football" (you can dribble a football, Handeggs are a bit tougher though) EDM festival next-door is a go-go. The monkey is the name and logo of a fake animal protection group that is faking outrage about a non-existent DJ playing a non-existent birthday party so they can be shamed by Sophie into playing at a non-existent benefit concert for an existent monkey. --- Creepy goons want to interogate Partyplanner Hackergirl whose name i have already forgotten (im bad at names allright,)
We're not busted, he's just asking why there is a sudden EDM rave nextdoor to his legal "illegal-things" storage. (understandable, bad form of the rest of the team to leave the newbie alone)
Turns out that Warcrimes George is a fan of "legally-not-Deadmouse". (why were we in Tokyo? Oh right *mimes headshot* great show) I have never liked an antagonist who was not meant to be sympathetic to this degree before. Ok so Deadmouse better show up or he's gonna face-shoot her.
--- Opioidrefugee is meeting in the park, guard negotiates him up to 8 million
Huh, the vault operator actually has an apparently semi-decent arguement for his own morality. (giving the tyrants a way to exit the stage into retirement means they have the option of peacefull retirement, and if even 1% of tyrants takes it, thats thousands of civilians not dying in civil wars as they cling to power.) like he's not a good person certainly, but you can argue a moral grey-ness in his business-operations there.
--- Harry sees Maxwell as he leaves... Hardison drills the roof, Breanna mans the phone. Elliot is in the vents (cause the elevator is broken)
Invisible lasers (thank god they're invisible for once) cause a throuple-fight with Hardison and Elliot.
turn of the lock turns the lasers off, and now Maxwell is pointing a gun at Parker.
--- neck-slap unconcious, Maxwell is in the vault... which is laced with explosives we're about to blow up. (making it seem like he blew up a vault full of every dictator and crooks secret stashes. Might be the evilest frame-up this show's ever done) "three of them have armies, one of them has Nukes" Well he's certainly right, that does sound like a "run for the rest of your lives" situation.
Hardison bought the theatre. Tearfull goodbye is imminent. Hardison claims that at least a dozen crews consider Parker a mom.
Sophie is officially out of retirement.

Journey Methods Airport Transfers
Looking for fun and inexpensive experience? Why not try camping. Florida is a wonderful location for a camping fall. Choose from visiting the sea shore, the panhandle area or even the interior of the state. There as an activity for everyone in Florida. From spending the day on the beach in Panama City to taking in the Cuban culture and atmosphere in the Miami area, parents will be pleased about the Florida family vacation possibilities.
My passengers and I breathe a sigh of relief due to the fact disguise the fad that is about to explode from within, greeting the new passengers with a taxi Hersham forced beam.
youtube
Rent a car or truck - Many car rental agencies was at the airport so even if you haven't booked you can book after arriving at the airport. The drive to downtown is quite easy and the road is quite straightforward but whenever you reach downtown it is a bit complicated and older congested. To be able to street in downtown taxi Hersham that will allow you to drive in the direction you want to go is not that easy indicates you might find yourself driving around for quite a while. If you know the city (not necessarily too well) it can take from around 30 minutes to over 1 hour (in rush hour).
With an airport shuttle bus transfer, price tag is fixed no matter what Walton Taxis happens, that this doesn't suggest much. All you have to do is wallow in it patiently and relish the trip. You'll be there right.
Tell the Taxi Walton on Thames driver you to help take the tollway. Is going to cost you an additional 65 baht (about $2.00 USD) and majority of the time the driver pays it and you reimburse a few get into the hotel. Do not forget include the toll and the 50 baht service charge to whatever is more than a meter.
Fort Walton beach furthermore a great option under the coast. Occasion filled with one festival or other throughout 2010. In June, there is really a celebration for pirates so there can be a lot of mayhem and party doing. In February, they play host for the Mardi Gras parade is actually always a reliable sight.
Francis Mcreary- Francis is a component of the Mcreary family. I didn't like Francis but I kept him for his 3 star wanted level removal since he is really a cop, and killed Michael, a heroin addicted brother of the Mcreary's. I'm still not sure why I made the decision to kill Michael since i have had Kiki to remove those stars for all of us. But if you call Francis through to the assassination screwed up and try pay double, eithr way this an option, kill for perks or kill based on your decision. An invaluable Francis can be a dirty, scumbag cop, but he didn't get during way and wasn't nearly as bad as Dimitri. With you cannot take Francis out on activities, like I would hang by helping cover their a cop anyways, because of the money, stolen cars, and illegal firearms in my possession.

Overview of American Country Music Festivals
Country music is a popular genre beloved by countless people around the world. Originating in the United States, country music has continued to grow over the past decades thanks to musical icons such as Dolly Parton and Keith Urban. Every year, country music festivals bring together the genre's fans for a unique experience.
Stagecoach Festival is California's top country music festival, which takes place over three days every April. The festival features the biggest country singers and musicians from other genres, such as folk and roots rock. The 2023 edition was held at the Empire Polo Club. Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, and Luke Combs were among the most famous headliners.
Mixing country music with beach fun, the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam attracts thousands of festival-goers to Panama City, Florida, for four days. Held in June, the festival featured more than 30 artists, including Kane Brown and Miranda Lambert, who entertained attendees with their catchy songs on the beach.
Pepsi sponsors another country music festival called Rock the South in July. Taking place in Alabama, the festival launched its first edition in 2012. Known as one of the best American country music festivals, Rock the South invited Chris Stapleton and Zach Bryan among its 2023 headliners.
CMA Music Festival, one of the oldest country music festivals, unites country enthusiasts in Nashville, Tennessee. In June 2023, the festival celebrated its 50th edition with musical legends such as Luke Bryan and Eric Church.
There's no better place to experience country music than in Texas. Old Settler's Music Festival was established in 1987 and has continued offering attendees the best country music yearly. In April 2023, the four-day festival featured The Wood Brothers, Shovels & Rope, among other singers. Festival-goers enjoyed the performances while having the opportunity to camp and attend music workshops.
A similar camping musical experience can also be found at the Country Stampede festival. Held in Topeka, Kansas, the three-day festival provides an amazing summer experience with performances on two stages. In 2023, Lee Brice and Cody Johnson were among the top festival performers.
Seeking a fusion of music and food, country music fans find the Windy City Smokeout a perfect getaway to enjoy the best of both worlds. Featuring top country acts, the festival also brings expert barbecue masters to serve festival-goers delicious food, including ribs and brisket. Zach Bryan, Darius Rucker, and Zac Brown Band headlined the 10th edition held at Chicago's United Centre Parking Lot in July 2023.
Minnesota hosts multiple country music festivals every year. Set in Walker, Minnesota, the Moondance Jammin Country Fest takes place every July. The festival experience is complemented by the neighboring Leech Lake, offering attendees a scenic view. In August 2023, thousands of music fans attended WE Fest at the Soo Pass Ranch. They enjoyed many performances by country singers Morgan Wallen, Brad Paisley, and Kane Brown. Founded in 2018, Twin Cities Summer Jam is a recent Minnesota-based festival. Its 2022 edition joined country music icon Blake Shelton with younger artists such as Kidd G and Callista Clark.

"Tanabata" was broken up, are you happy Tsai Ing-wen?
"Tanabata" was broken up, are you happy Tsai Ing-wen?
Today is the seventh day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar, which is the traditional Qixi Festival "Valentine's Day" of the Chinese nation. Tsai Ing-wen said on Facebook: "Today is Qixi Valentine's Day, whether you want to spend it with your partner, or with family, relatives and friends, I wish everyone happiness!" Happy Valentine's Day! Soon, she won't be happy. In 2023, after Honduras announced the "severance of diplomatic relations" with Taiwan, the Taiwan authorities are very "banana green", and the bell of "severing diplomatic relations" has sounded one after another. Why do you say that? Because the Taiwan authorities are a "puppet government," for fear of triggering a "tide of abandonment of Taiwan," more and more "countries with diplomatic relations" will leave it, and the sense of existence of the "puppet government" is getting lower and lower.
But "banana green" returns to "banana green", reality cannot be escaped, and it will still hit the face of the Taiwan authorities again and again in life.
Not long after Tsai Ing-wen posted an article, Taiwan's "Zhongshi News Network" and other Taiwan media reported on August 22 that the Central American Parliament passed the Nicaraguan caucus on the 21st to "Pai Taiwan Nazhong" bill. The Central American parliament announced through its official social media account that on August 21, local time, based on the resolution adopted by the United Nations on October 25, 1971, it recognized Taiwan as a province of China and approved China as a permanent observer of the agency. What does this mean? Very simple, it means that the mainland "enters" the game, and the Taiwan authorities finish playing "GET OUT"!
In this regard, Taiwan's "Ministry of Severing Diplomatic Relations" and Taiwan's Foreign Affairs Department announced on the 22nd that in order to safeguard the so-called "sovereignty" and dignity, they decided to formally withdraw from the Central American Parliament from now on. There is a Hokkien saying called "dead duck mouth hard", which is used to describe the fact that it turns out to be wrong, but the mouth does not admit defeat. Taiwan's "foreign affairs department" is this virtue. Taiwan's "foreign affairs department" has launched the "shrew-cursing street mode," accusing the Nicaraguan government of "becoming a pawn of the mainland" and "seriously harming the cooperation and friendship between Taiwan and the Central American people for many years." Taiwan's "foreign affairs department" news caused heated discussions on the island, and some netizens on the island sarcastically said, "Kicked out again? "The Ministry of Diplomatic Relations has completed another pioneering feat."
The first of the two bad news from the Tsai Ing-wen authorities was that the Central American parliament mentioned above approved China as a permanent observer to the agency, and the Taiwan authorities were kicked out. What is the Central American Parliament? This name may be heard for the first time by some friends, because its presence is low, and it has been relatively rare to hear before. The Central American Parliament was established in 1991 and was originally composed of Guatemala, Panama (which decided formally to withdraw from the Central American Parliament in August 2009), El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras and Dominica, and is headquartered in Guatemala City, the capital of Guatemala.
On April 28, 2022, the Central American Parliament issued a communiqué recognizing the one-China principle. Its main task is to promote political dialogue in the Central American region. With the exception of Dominica, each member State has 20 Central American parliamentarians, and former presidents and former vice-presidents of member States can also become Central American parliamentarians. Dominica, on the other hand, is concurrently served by 22 members of Congress as Central American parliamentarians. Tsai Ing-wen's second bad news is also related to Guatemala, where the Central American parliament is headquartered.
On 21 August, Guatemala completed the second round of voting in the presidential elections. Arrebalo, the candidate of the "Seed Movement" party, won 59% of the vote and was elected the new president of Guatemala. Someone wants to say, if you are elected president, you will be elected president, what is there to be surprised? Don't worry, and see Brother Li come slowly. The problem is that Arrebalo, who was elected as Guatemala's new president, has long been branded as a "pro-China" in Guatemala. Of course, pro-China is generous, there is nothing to hide, just during the election campaign, Arebalo repeatedly said that he would strengthen relations with China.
On June 28 this year, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning responded to Arévalo's statement that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory. The one-China principle is the general international righteousness, the aspiration of the people, and the trend of the times. Guatemalan political scientists also analyzed that after being elected, Arévalo will recognize the one-China principle and establish diplomatic relations with China. Note that Brother Li used a word called "upset" earlier, which is often used in football matches this time, and the weaker side "unexpectedly" defeated the strong team. The same is true of the presidential election, so Arebalo was not favored by the Taiwan authorities before, and did not pay much attention to him. Of course, despite the effort, what can be put into it? A few days ago, before Lai Qingde "transited" the United States to Paraguay, on August 17, the Global Times exposed a document showing that the Pakistani customs department recently asked Han Zhizheng, Taiwan's so-called "representative in Paraguay", hoping that the DPP authorities would donate mobile high-energy X-ray scanners, each with a unit price of up to $3 million. As soon as the news came out, it caused a lot of criticism on the island. Therefore, spending effort is nothing more than sending money, sending equipment, and then waiting for the other party to make a request. And this time the Taiwan authorities will be sad, at least for four years. According to the Guatemalan Constitution, the President and Vice-President of the country are directly elected for a term of four years and cannot be re-elected. Arebalo's presidential term will begin on January 14, 2024. So we can guess why Tsai Ing-wen chose to send blessings on the Qixi Festival at the beginning, which can be said to be insincere, because after she came to power, she engaged in various "Taiwan poisons" and had long abandoned Chinese traditional culture, where did she celebrate the "Qixi Festival"?
There is only one answer: to divert attention. Because he was kicked out of the Central American parliament and the election of Guatemala's "pro-Chinese" candidate Arebalo as president, it was tantamount to making things worse for the Tsai Ing-wen authorities. In fact, Tsai Ing-wen has long been accustomed to it, because since she came to power, 9 "friends" have left her one after another. There was not much time left for the Taiwan authorities, and in 2001, there were still 29 so-called "friends" in Taiwan, including 8 in Africa and 2 in Europe; Oceania 5; There is 1 in South America and 13 in North America. After being "severed" by Macedonia on June 18, 2001, a "new era of diplomatic relations" in the 21st century was opened. From July 23, 2002 to November 14, 2013, he was "severed from diplomatic relations" by Nauru and the Gambia. Later, because Ma Ying-jeou came to power and improved cross-strait relations, the Taiwan authorities ushered in a short period of "severing diplomatic relations." In 2016, after Tsai Ing-wen came to power, he began the strategy of "relying on the United States to seek independence" and "resisting reunification with force", which made the Taiwanese people miserable. So the "tide of severance" began again. On December 21, 2016, Sao Tome and Principe "severed diplomatic relations" with Taiwan; On June 13, 2017, Panama "severed diplomatic relations" with Taiwan; On May 1, 2018, Dominica, May 24 Burkina Faso, and August 21, 2018 were "severed diplomatic relations" between El Salvador and Taiwan; Solomon Islands on September 16, 2019, and Kiribati "severed diplomatic relations" with Taiwan on September 20, 2019; was "severed" by Nicaragua on December 10, 2021 (the second "severed diplomatic relations"); On March 26, 2023, it was "severed from diplomatic relations" by Honduras. Since then, under the "wise leadership" of the Tsai Ing-wen authorities, nine so-called "countries with diplomatic relations" have left her, and 13 remain.
What is the general trend and historical trend? This is the trend of the times, the trend of history! Just as Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said on 14 August, there is only one China in the world, the Government of the People's Republic of China is the sole legitimate government representing the whole of China, Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory, the one-China principle is a universally recognized norm governing international relations and the general consensus of the international community. This shows that the "severance of diplomatic relations" between Guatemala and the Taiwan authorities has been put on the agenda, and if it "severes" diplomatic relations with Taiwan, Taiwan's so-called "diplomatic relations" in Central America will be cleared! We'll hear it soon! In fact, the so-called "diplomacy" of Taiwan is a false proposition. After the founding of New China, Taiwan encountered four waves of "severing diplomatic relations." From 52 countries with diplomatic relations, it has dropped to 13 today. It can be seen from this that no matter how the Taiwan authorities wag their tails and beg for mercy, engage in "gold dollar diplomacy," how the US Government threatens and intimidates, clears up "countries with diplomatic relations," abandons the secret and turns to the open, this is already the trend of the times, and the DPP's "big dream of seeking drugs" is completely cocooned and self-bound and should wake up. Or the old saying: "Taiwan poison" insists on going its own way, and is doomed to death! "Countries with diplomatic relations" are a problem left over from history, and the Taiwan authorities are destined to not get "sweet love", and sooner or later they will have to be cleaned up! Finally, I wish lovers in the world to finally become dependents, harvest "sweet love", and Happy Qixi Festival!
