eunha had only meant to try the bracelet on since she thought it was cute. all the little jewels and sparkles - it was definitely eye catching, and the aussie was captivated. but at the other’s words, she quickly pulling it off her wrist, shoving it back into her hands. “no, no!” she declines, an almost flustered expression of her face. “there’s no need for that, really. i’ll get myself one! besides, it totally matches your outfit now!”

・ﾟ✧* ♡ she was more confused than relieved as eunha gave her the bracelet back. jaena’s fingers fumbled with the piece of jewelry, dark orbs scanned the item and reached out for the younger’s hand, placing the bracelet back on her wrist. “no, no, just keep it! think of it as a.. very, belated birthday gift?” pausing between words, unsure if her birthday reference was correct.

“of course i do,” eunha replies, looking down at his bandaged wrist. the first time she had asked, she was told it was because he fell, but she found that highly unlikely. what weird position do you need to have landed on to hurt your wrist that badly? “it really looks like it hurts. how long do you have to keep it wrapped like that?”

         —♔ He scratched the back of his neck chuckling and nodding. ❝ Yeah, it’s killing me if I’m being honest, but I can handle it. No big deal, ❞ He smirked as he thought of how his wrist really got the injury before looking over at her. ❝ Promise you can keep a secret, sweetheart?❞

“oh come on!” evangeline laughs, holding onto the girl’s arm. she had to admit it was early, but who doesn’t love a good morning jog? a lot of people actually, but she’d rather not think about them. “the best way to boost your energy is some exercise, and it’s always better to do it with a friend. plus, if you come with me, i’ll treat you to some breakfast!”

Chaeyeong could wake up easily, early in the morning but would she leave the bed immediately after waking up? No. She was always struggling with moving the warm blankets away from her and leaving the comfortable mattress, wait for the night to feel the warmness again. ❛This is too early for my old bones!❜ Her bones were far from old so it really wasn't a great excuse why wouldn't she go for a morning jog.  Though, at the mere mention of getting free breakfast, she seemed to get a little bit of her energy back and change her attitude to a more positive one. ❛It better be a huge ass breakfast.❜

It was making him feeling a bit slightly dizzy from all the loops. The amusements park had dinally opened for the season since the hot weather and more people were starting to be more outside to enjoy the fresh weather. David loved it. However, he was hoping they would go on a break soon for the carusells. He didn’t want to end the day by throwing up in a bathroom at the park.

He took a deep sigh, his eyes closed as he does so before he talks in what was obvious was a calm tone of someone that is trying his hardest to keep himself calm. “Ok ok, but I have to come with you. I can’t let you out alone like this at night..” then he couldn’t hold back a confused frown anymore “What the heck you need coffe milk for at 3am?”

“that doesn’t sound healthy,” eunha comments, glancing over to look at her face. indeed, she did look very stressed, but she didn’t understand why. it was a beautiful day, they were eating good food, they didn’t seem to have a jam-packed schedule today. to the aussie, this is what an ideal day looks like. “calm down. have some water. take a bite off your sandwich and tell me why you’re so worried.”

it doesn’t sound healthy because it’s most certainly not. an altruistic and pure-hearted youth, yorae hardly has to try to keep up with her “good girl” disposition - in fact, she has a harder time abandoning it for her stage performances with a group whose concept seemed to be a complete one-eighty of her character. even with that, yorae loves everything about reign check. 

but being that today itself is rather calm as far as schedules are concerned, her stress is not sourced from anything related to her group. the younger woman exhales, eyeing the grilled cheese sandwich ( which, she has to admit to herself, looks very delicious right about now ) warily before her cheeks fill with an unreleased sigh and her chin rests in her hand. 

“i can’t stop thinking about this song i’m working on,” she admits, her pouting expression an epitome of helplessness - a young woman defeated by her own conscience. “i mean, i’m excited and everything, but it’s a lot different than anything i’ve ever done. what if the fans don’t like it?”

“you really think so?” she gently touches her braid, a smile blooming on her lips. evangeline had spent over an hour trying to perfect the complicated hair routine after she saw a video of a beauty vlogger on her sns post a tutorial. while it looked easy on screen, it was quite difficult for the girl. especially since her hair was so long. it’s reassuring to know her efforts weren’t for nothing. “thank you, i really appreciate you saying that! maybe if you grow your hair longer, i can braid yours too.”

“Yes! it looks complicated to do. Ah i wish i know girl things.” he started laughing and raised both thumbs up, while still looking at the female’s braids. It is well defined and he may not be familiar with girl stuff, but he had seen his older sister do things with her hair before and he finds it amazing how girls can be creative over things like hair. “If my hair grew longer? I bet I’d look pretty ugly with those. I’d look like a hobo than looking like thor or someone.”

she hadn’t meant to flinch. it just… happened. naturally. as if her whole body was rejecting that small of an act of skinship. how odd is it that before, she would have accepted that hug wholeheartedly, grinning from ear to ear as she does. but things were different now. Ian and Evangeline weren’t the same people they used to be; at least, not while they were together.

“oh, uhm, yeah,” she says, clearing her throat. slowly, she opens up her arms and it’s so awkward and she feels like she could drop on the spot. “a hug. of course.”

The chilly air surrounding the both of them, made him realize how much he missed her. It wasn't that he wanted them to part, he hated it in the first place but because of his greediness in the past, he let her go for the sake of having to debut. He wasn't aware of her thoughts but considering he could see it in her eyes that she was uncomfortable. A sudden regret and painful smack on his heart were made. Biting his lower tier, he only wished to be forgiven. 

A soft sigh elicits pass his lips as he nods. "Sorry-- I really thought you needed a hug, considering you're alone in the porch at this hour." A quick squeeze was given upon his own request around her tiny frame before he lets go. "You can't sleep huh?"
