I really just intended to spruce up this apartment before my sims lived in it, and it turned into a massive multi-day project. Safe to say, I’m pleased with the results though!

Hi, Simblrverse! It's been a minute... or maybe a bagillion. Hope you're doing well out there in the world. I've been full steam ahead back into work mode, and since I have to sit in front of a computer all day, I haven't been Simming much in my down time. Hopefully I'll be able to get a good work/play balance going here in the next few weeks; thanks for bearing with me!

With that out of the way, I present 930 Medina Studios. I made sure the bones of the apartment matched Apartments 910 and 920, but since it was the biggest (5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms), I gave it a large kitchen and dining area as well, which turned out to be my favorite areas in the entire renovation.

I've been binging Grey's Anatomy A LOT lately, so I furnished the apartment for 5 Medical Interns, collectively known as 930 Doctors (yes, they have their own Club). Each of the bedrooms is tailored to their individual styles and integrates elements of the backstories I came up with for each of them.

I think this is the first time I've ever furnished an entire apartment building in one save file - go me!

This apartment has also been uploaded as a Room to The Gallery; make sure to check ‘Include Custom Content’ when you search! Also - totally optional - just like in 910 and 920, the kitchen is up on a platform area (raise it up by 1) just to give some dimension to the space.

I shall make this my last floorplan ask because I hate to keep doing it 😭 I was wondering about the new one in Medina studios and holy shit how did you make that balcony? I assume it was the tool mod which is gods gift to earth. No problem if you don’t want to share and this is a personal build! 🩷🩷

Keep asking away if you wish! I have no issue sharing floorplans to apartments as I know so many people struggle with them in San Myshuno!

Thank you so much though! Literally all you need to do is use really large archways and it basically gives off the vibe of a balcony!

And if you can't tell, I split the apartment into "two" apartments as it's sooo big. It's a great way to use big apartments if you struggle with them!

930 Medina Studios 3br/1ba

A simple apartment reno for my "and they were roommates" savefile. Originally home to Austin Wentworth—the flat is now shared by him and two other buddies of his from high school/college.

I wanted to keep it simple, dark colors + greens with splashes of white/cream to fit all of their individual styles. I meant for this to be somewhat of a bachelor pad/hangout spot for their friend group so big open windows to let that natural light in was a must. Honestly, Medina Studios has some of the best lighting in San Myshuno.

Which is why I always have the lights off. There is one light in the living room but its a low light so it doesn't overshadow that natural sunlight :)
