(HI-FI Rush Post) Consider:

A nickname for 808 being "kibibyte".

Because it sounds like kitty/kibby + byte, but also a kibibyte is equivalent to 1024 bytes, and is used in the context of binary systems (conversely, a kilobyte is just 1000 bytes).

korsica playing with 808 :3

Korsica's fingers glided over the keyboard of the hideout's computer, eyes darting between the multiple monitors. She double-checked the code, checked up on the prototype ideas and maybe a bit of work on cleaning up those ideas.

She was in the hideout, and Peppermint was out for the day.

Maybe she shouldn't be working while off, but she just had to finish up getting this prototype working...

There was a bump against her arm, causing a line to be drawn where there shouldn't be one. Korsica quickly undid it, and then looked towards where the disturbance happened.

808. The robot cat seemed delighted when Korsica glanced at her, and pushed against her hand. A bit of the clasp holding it to Korsica's hand pressed against 808's cheek.

Korsica glanced to her work, hand absentmindedly petting 808's head. There was a bit of a robotic purr.

Well...

She wasn't supposed to be working anyway.

She saved her projects and put them in her wip folder- one handed, and then turned towards 808. She added another hand to the mix of petting 808, rotating her head between both of her hands. 808 enjoyed the rapid movement.

"Pulling me away from my work, 808?" Korsica questioned, not expecting a response. 808 attempted a meow anyway. Korsica smiled. "I suppose this is why Peppermint has you around, hm?"

808 pulled away, and Korsica let her hands fall to her side. She watched as the cat nosed her way into one of the boxes, and pulled out... a cat toy?

808 walked over to Korsica, tail waving to produce an exclamation point, and then an arrow to point at the toy.

Oh! Korsica knelt down to 808, reaching out to grab the cat toy from 808's jaws. 808 let go of it, then watched as Korsica let it dangle.

"Like this?" Korsica asked, waving the toy in front of 808. The cat robot instantly leaped for the end of the toy, and Korsica pulled it back, causing the cat to land and spin around. Korsica laughed. "You're that enthusiastic about this, aren't you?"

... eventually, 808's battery ran low, and the stars were starting to shine outside.

808's mission of pulling Korsica away from her work was a success. 808 nodded as Korsica plugged her in. So worth it.

Guess who finished playing Hi-Fi Rush and now has a new favorite game!!! This game was INCREDIBLE and I loved everything about it! The gameplay, music, animation and overall fun vibe were just everything and I loved every single second of that game. Also man the animation went so hard in this game my goodness gravy.
