Taycan Saloon Turbo GT – From £186,000 this AWD will have an 97 kWh usable battery which will offer 0 – 62 times of 2.3 seconds, 180 mph top speeds and 760 kW (or 1019hp). Expect a combined winter range of 250 miles with warmer weather allowing for 335 miles – 295 miles combined. On charging, the 11 kW AC max will allow 10 hour and 30 mins 0 – 100% charging times with the 320 kW DC maximum allowing 19 minute 10 – 80% times. It has a vehicle fuel equivalent of 123mpg. You cannot tow with this EV. It also has no Bidirectional charging capabilities. But it does have a heat pump
Key aspects include the special pulse inverter for greater driver power, the Gurney flap for optimised aerodynamics, front end with aeroblades, Attack Mode (for an extra 120kW of power mid-driving!) and carbon bucket seats. While the Turbo S is pretty quick, the GT will allow up to 939bhp to be made available using the Attack Mode via button the steering wheel.

現在考えている架鉄。舞台は川崎市
ルート変更。かつてのトロリーバスが走っていた道路を取れすする形で池上新田まで向かうことにした。こうすることで京急大師線とJR南武支線のテリトリーを極力侵食しないルートとした。川崎市が民業圧迫するのはよくないという考えからこうする
で、池上新田から塩浜までは旧川崎市電ルート。水江方面はトロリーバスルートで、車庫はENEOSの土地を一部借りて展開する。しかしなんで東扇島なんて辺鄙なところに線路を敷くんだよって話だわな
まず、水江にはENEOSがある。これが今回の架鉄のキモ
神奈川県と川崎市は、扇島で風力発電よって製造した水素を貯蔵、圧縮するシステムを整備して、そこで製造した水素を京浜臨海部で稼働する燃料電池フォークリフトに使用し、従来比80%以上のCO2削減を目指すという実証実験を行っているのよ。で、その風力発電システムを持ってるのがENEOSなのね
この取り組みにはJR東日本も1枚かんで『HYBARI』を南武支線とかで走らせるわけなんだけど、川崎市自身も水素を使った低コストかつ環境負荷の低い架線レス電車を実証実験もかねて導入してみるというのはどうかなと思ったのよね。だから今回の事業主体は川崎市。公営交通だね
運転本数は京急川崎~塩浜が毎時8本程度、池上新田~水江が毎時2本程度、水江~物流センターが1~2時間に1本程度かな
そして水素充てん設備を水江の車庫において(ENEOS隣接)昼間でも1時間に1本程度、水江の充電設備に交互に突っ込んでいけば1日中走れるんじゃないかな。しらんけど
低床電車で全長40m以内。そこに水素電池と改質装置を取り付けてコントを動かすことがはたしてできるのかどうかわからんけどちょっと考えてみたいところ。問題はこんなみょうちきりんな電車を新潟トランシスが受注してくれるかどうかではあるけど。ブレーメン型の電車に水素電池を載せるだけのことだって、パテントの問題とかいろいろあるだろうし
モータ出力は定格速度を高めるために120kwの物をチョイスして、ギアリングは6.789(61:9?)からもう一段深く、具体的には63:8=7.875くらいにできれば市内でもそれなりに加速できるんじゃないかな?。水素電池ではそこまでパワーは期待できないと思うので、ギアリングで多少のトルクを付けておきたいんだよね
信号方式はATACS。架線ないからコンタクタもつけられないし装備が多いから通常のATS装置を乗っける余裕も少ないと思うし
現段階では愛称を『HYKALI(ひかり)』としている。HYdrogen KAwasaki LIghtrailの略ではあるんだけど、もう一つの候補として『Hy-Light(ハイライト)』を考えていた。ただ、後者の案はなんか煙がもくもく出そうでゼロエミッションのイメージではないのでやめた
とりあえず水素電池についての学びがもう少し必要なので、製作は当分先になると思う

Is the Tesla Model 3 a good car?
Remember in the early-mid 2000s, when phones were getting ever smaller and discreet — until the chunky iPhone came along in 2007 to completely turn the industry on its head?
Well, that’s sort of what the Tesla Model 3 is here to do with the car. Not only does Elon Musk’s brainchild want to show the world that long-range electric cars are today and not the future, but also completely reinvent the idea of how we see the car altogether.
As it doesn’t have to cool a conventional engine like the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes C-Class and Audi A4, the Tesla Model 3 electric car does away with anything so vulgar as a grille on its bumper. Instead, there’s little more than a slim intake, a pair of fog lights and a number plate at the front. Things are a little more in line with ‘normal’ cars elsewhere, though, with a rather undramatic side profile and a simplistic rear end.
Opt for the range-topping Performance model and your Model 3 gets lowered suspension, a subtle carbon fibre boot spoiler and jazzily-named Uberturbine 20-inch alloy wheels to make the car look lower, meaner and much more sporty.
It’s inside the car where the Tesla Model 3 is a real revolution, though. You can forget the supposed minimalist cabins the Audi A4 or Jaguar XE, the Tesla Model 3’s interior is almost completely devoid of buttons, knobs or dials of any kind.
Instead, you control pretty much everything through a whopping 15-inch touchscreen. It’s a good thing, then, that the screen is easy to read, laid out rather sensibly and responds to your inputs just as quickly as a range-topping iPad does. The satellite navigation, based on Google Maps, it’s incredibly easy to use and follow.
The Tesla Model 3 isn’t just one of the most high-tech electric cars on sale, it’s also one of the best saloons you can buy – if only it wasn’t so expensive…
The rest of the Tesla Model 3’s cabin looks a bit plain by comparison, but at least it feels pretty solid now – which hasn’t always been the case with Tesla cars. It’s not quite as roomy as the likes of the new BMW 3 Series – particularly in the back – but the Tesla Model 3 comes with a vast panoramic glass roof that stretches all the way from the driver’s headrests to the bootlid. It’s a welcome addition, as it does a fantastic job of flooding the cabin with light.
It doesn’t do anything to boost the Tesla Model 3’s boot space, though. There’s room for about six suitcases and some soft bags, but plenty of petrol- and diesel-powered alternatives are roomier still. It does beat its key alternative in the all-electric Polestar 2 by 100 litres though, and also has a little bit of extra storage in the front where internal combustion cars would have an engine.
If you’ll be using your Tesla Model 3 for nipping to the shops you won’t be too worried about range, but it’s nice to know that the Long Range model can manage around 360 miles between charges if you’re being extra careful. Charging from empty takes around 12 hours using a dedicated wall-charger at home or you can boost the Model 3’s batteries from 10% to 80% full in as little as 35 minutes using Tesla’s 120kw public charging points.
Performance models lose out on a few miles of range, being able to cover 352 miles between chargers, but they’re much faster. Accelerating from 0-60mph takes as little as 3.1 seconds compared with the 4.2 seconds of the Long Range version — and the Standard Plus’ 5.3 seconds. This means it’s quicker than pretty much any other premium saloon on sale – and many much pricier sports cars for that matter.
It’s even easier to drive on motorways, where the optional Autopilot system lets the car pretty much drive itself – providing you keep your hands on the steering wheel. It’ll accelerate, brake and steer for you to maintain a safe distance to other cars and will even change lane when you indicate. As good as it sounds, though, it will set you back an additional £6,800.
In fact, the sheer number of passenger-impressing gizmos you get in the Model 3 makes the more expensive Model S seems a bit pointless to go for. It might be the baby of the Tesla range, but the Model 3’s stylish looks, futuristic-yet-practical cabin and sports-car-baiting performance make it one of the best electric cars on sale and a genuine alternative to the posh saloon mainstream.

It has a vehicle fuel equivalent of 150 mpg. This EV will have no Bidirectional charging. And the car will not be able to tow.

Renovadas ambições com o Renault R.S. 18!
Com um novo pacote aerodinâmico, melhorias na Unidade Motriz V6 híbrida e evoluções na suspensão, o Renault R.S. 18 está pronto para enfrentar os desafios do Campeonato do Mundo de F1 de 2018. Chegou a hora de brilhar!
Com 115 anos de sucesso no desporto automóvel e 41 anos de experiência ao nível da Fórmula 1 (como construtor ou fornecedor de motores), a Renault volta, em 2018, a apostar na F1, com o Renault R.S.18. Nico Hülkenberg e Carlos Sainz foram reconduzidos no papel de pilotos principais da equipa e terão nas mãos um monolugar evoluído, com que esperam continuar a trepar na difícil pirâmide da competitividade do Campeonato do Mundo de F1.
Num trabalho cujo resultado será muito mais do que o produto da performance e consistência dos pilotos, o Renault R.S.18 assume um papel importantíssimo para evolução da equipa Renault Sport Formula One Team, que, em 2017, recorde-se, terminou a época com o quarto carro mais rápido de todo o plantel e no sexto lugar do Campeonato de Construtores.
Em 2018, obviamente, as expetativas são mais elevadas e o R.S.18 promete aparecer ainda mais competitivo e fiável, num ano em que não houve alterações revolucionárias em termos regulamentares. No que concerne ao chassis, o Renault R.S.18 recebeu como principal alteração a introdução do obrigatório sistema de proteção halo, bem como a remoção de uma parte do capo motor, mantendo, de resto, a base das principais características técnicas do R.S.17.
A suspensão, contudo, foi um dos alvos para maiores modificações, que, pelo desenvolvimento conseguido, permitiu melhorar o comportamento do monolugar na passagem dos corretores e em pequenas lombas, tornando as reações também mais previsíveis para os pilotos. O pacote aerodinâmico recebeu igualmente evoluções, não só ao nível da otimização da “downforce”, mas também por forma a tornar o R.S.18 com um desempenho mais acessível para os pilotos. As mudanças operadas, permitirão a Nico Hülkenberg e Carlos Sainz elevar os limites de aderência do monolugar e, com isso, extrair a máxima performance dos Renault.
A relação chassis-motor foi melhorada, com muitas horas extra de desenvolvimento da unidade motriz híbrida V6, de 1.6 litros e sobrealimentada, no laboratório de testes de Viry-Châtillon, que, aparentemente, se revelaram muito produtivas. A sua finalidade foi incrementar a performance e equilibrar a fiabilidade, que, este ano, terá um papel ainda mais decisivo nos resultados, ou, em termos regulamentares, o número de unidades internas de combustão (ICE) não tivesse sido reduzido para três, enquanto o número de unidades de recuperação e armazenamento de energia MGU-K não estivesse também durante a época de 2018, limitado ao uso de apenas duas unidades.
Perante estas condicionantes e conforme constata Rémi Taffin, diretor técnico de motores da equipa Renault Sport Formula One Team, “a nossa primeira prioridade foi a fiabilidade, que, esta época, encerra um desafio ainda maior pois temos que dar mais ¼ de vida ao mesmo motor. Claro que sabendo da regra dos três motores, nos preparamos para isso e começamos mesmo a desenvolver o motor de 2018 em 2016 (já com essa limitação em mente), completando mais horas em banco de teste do que nunca.”
Nascido em “berço de ouro”
Nascido como o produto do trabalho das duas unidades industriais que dão vida à Renault Sport Formula One Team, o Renault R.S.18 foi concebido com a única finalidade de se tornar uma das armas mais competitivas do Campeonato do Mundo de F1 de 2018.
O reforço das capacidades técnicas e humanas da grande família em que se tornou a Renault Sport Formula One Team permitiu criar as condições para que as duas fábricas, em Enstone (Inglaterra) e Viry-Châtillon (França), aumentassem a sua capacidade produtiva, mas, sobretudo, trabalhassem numa relação ainda mais estreita.
Esse, porventura e na ótica de Cyril Abiteboul, diretor da Renault Sport Racing, poderá ser um dos segredos do sucesso da equipa: “temos duas instalações com propósitos e histórias distintas, mas que estão a trabalhar cada vez melhor em conjunto. Em Enstone, entre diversos projetos, adquirimos nova maquinaria e ferramentas de trabalho, enquanto o departamento de materiais compósitos evoluí muito. Ao mesmo tempo também se criou uma área específica para a pintura e o novo supercomputador CFD permitiu outras facilidades. Construímos novos ambientes de trabalho para acomodar a nossa força de trabalho que se estendeu a mais 100 pessoas, com alguns nomes de respeito nas fileiras, número esse que será ainda maior nos próximos meses. Por outro lado, a estabilidade que conseguimos na fábrica de Viry deu-nos uma plataforma de construção ideal para a unidade motriz, que será capaz de desafiar as vitórias. E não podia haver melhor reconhecimento para qualidade dos nossos motores do que ter a Red Bull Racing e a McLaren a usá-los”.
E se todos na equipa Renault Sport Formula One Team estão a “remar” para o mesmo lado, então os bons resultados serão apenas uma questão de tempo…

New Audi E-tron 50: entry-level EV SUV priced from £59,900 Audi has revealed UK pricing for the E-tron 50 – a cheaper and lighter entry-level version of its flagship electric SUV. The new model is available from £59,900, including the government's £3500 plug-in car grant, representing a saving of £7445 over the E-tron 55. The E-tron 50's 71kWh pack – likely to be the lowest-capacity pack Audi will offer in the E-tron – enables it to achieve a range of up to 190 miles on the WLTP test cycle. That's 51 miles fewer than the 95kWh E-tron 55. By comparison, the E-tron’s main rival, the Mercedes-Benz EQC, has a WLTP-certified range of 259 miles in its standard 400 form. A future lower-spec variant could be expected to offer less than 200 miles. While the E-tron 55 is compatible with 150kW chargers, the E-tron 50 can accept only up to 120kW. 宝马、保时捷研发超级充电站:充电3分钟能跑100公里
如今,充电速度成为电动车普及的最大掣肘,目前各大车企都在研发超级充电技术,以其为电动车发展带来新的契机。
据外媒报道,日前宝马和保时捷合作研发的FastCharge快充站已经在德国实验运营。据悉,该快充站可在3之内,让电动车获得100公里续航的电量,15分钟即可充满80%,其功率高达450W。
相比之下,特斯拉的超级充电站为目前最快,功率为120kW。
据悉,目前该快充站已经获得德国联邦国土交通省提供了360万美元研发资金,配备联合充电系统(CCS),将适配所有品牌电动车型,根据车型不同,可自动匹配最大充电功率。
目前,该充电站已经在当地时间12月13日面型公众开放,民众可享受免费充电。

Am I better off having my 1.6 Diesel Civic tuned, or buying something more sporty?
To start off, I absolutely love my 2013 Diesel Honda Civic. There's no denying that it may be slow as hell, but it gets killer fuel economy, has a wonderful 6 speed manual, and is fun through the corners. It's spacious enough to put a mattress in at parties, and I barely notice my kayak on the roof even at high speeds. At the moment, its pretty much the perfect daily driver for where I'm at and I have zero complaints.
A lot of European companies offer tunes for this particular engine, which indicate that power can be raised to around 120kw, whilst finding an extra 80 to 100nm of torque. Whilst the increase in power is pretty average, I feel like the extra low-end torque could make the car more fun to drive (particularly off the line, assuming I'm careful with the clutch), whilst still being a great daily for all of those other reasons. In the alternative, the money I could spend on tuning it could be spent on a Prelude of EK Civic, which could be used as track cars and would arguably be more fun.
What do you think? Would that torque increase make the car THAT much more fun at low speeds, or am I better off spending that money elsewhere?
If I do get it tuned, am I better off getting a Euro flash tune, or getting a diesel mechanic (probably 4x4 oriented as I live in Australia) to do a custom Dyno tune?

Theo công bố từ nhà sản xuất, Vespa Elettrica có thể đi được quãng đường 100km trước khi cần sạc lại. Xe lấy nguồn điện từ bộ pin sạc lithium-ion, có thể sạc đầy trong 4 giờ. Tương tự như cấu trúc khung, lý do khiến Sarolea lựa chọn hệ động lực điện cho mẫu xe đầu tiên của họ cũng nhằm mục đích hướng tới sự tối giản nhưng hiệu quả. Không như động cơ đốt trong truyền thống với hàng trăm bộ phận cơ học, với việc sử dụng động cơ điện, bộ phận duy nhất chuyển động để xe lăn bánh chỉ là mô-tơ. Kymco SuperNEX
Là một trong những hãng sản xuất xe tay ga lớn nhất thế giới nhưng tại triển lãm EICMA 2018, Kymco lại mang đến một chiếc superbike chạy điện ấn tượng.
