Daily 7July2021

The day today has buzzed past and, other than some momentary interactions, pretty quiet. He has been busy with work, and I have been busy with babies. Although we have had the stolen moments of

"I love you. I've got to go do this/that, now. Talk later."

or

"I love you. Finally going to bed. You rock, Mami. Don't lose your mind. Talk in the morning. I have to get up early. Night, Sweets."

As I type this, I get a quick forehead kiss and a, "Morning, Beautiful. Running again today. Hopefully this slows down a little soon. Miss our talks. I have to go. I love you. I will tuck you in during my lunch. Have a great day."

"Back at you, Baby," I reply as my spirit throws a kiss.

He catches it as he takes off and lands it on his cheek with a small smile as he is off and running.

I worry about him when his schedule is like this. I worry he isn't getting enough sleep or eating enough and he is going to make himself sick. And Good Mother knows, that is the last thing either of us want or need. We both end up terribly hurt and he ends up not only hurting but sick as well; which then translates to me feeling icky too, cause I am picking up on his sick.

He sighs, loudly; before it turns to a groan and then a whine.

"What's the matter, Haka?"

"Just exhausted," he whispers. "And I still have the other half of the day to go. It's getting later, there. You should get to bed, Sweets."

"I know. But I am not tired, yet."

"Liar," he whispers as I yawn. Then, he smiles, "Bed time for Mami. Don't have much going on this evening, so I will talk to you when you wake up, ok? I love you, Ghost."

"Love you, Guard."

"Goodnight, my sweet queen," he says as he presses a kiss to my forehead.

"Night, Haka."
