˛⠀📍 𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘯 , 𝘮𝘪𝘢𝘮𝘪 .
it was the first day back in miami that the blonde decided to go out on her own . finding her way to one of her favorite coffee shops . after a pleasant encounter with the barista she found a nice secluded spot by a window . setting down her cappuccino , notepad , and go to purple pen for songwriting . even though she’d spent the last year with not much else to do but write , she was still eager to get the lyrics floating in her head out . pulling out her airpod when she felt a tap on her shoulder , looking up to see someone she didn’t recognize but the smile that shined on their features was one she knew all to well . “ so happy you’re doing better, “ the young girl beamed , elle gave her a gracious smile , mentally refusing to speak on the topic at all , especially with a stranger , even if the girl was a fan . that was it for that interaction , which elle found rather odd . her brows furrowing slightly as the girl turned away and over to the barista . her eyes scanned the area , eyes landing on a familiar face this time . normally she’d be the type to wave them down and conversate but today she stuck her head back in her notepad , in hopes that she’d gotten away with laying low , for once .

“you look like you’re having a good time ,” madison comments from her place at the edge of the party scene , a coy smirk gracing her features . she’s been nursing the same flute of champagne for the past half hour , considerably behind in terms of getting intoxicated compared to the other party goers surrounding her . it’s quite possible that she’s the most sober person in attendance . which gives her the advantage of actually having memory of whatever goes down tonight . “i almost forgot how hectic these events can be .”
#786starter#she could be being genuine or sarcastic if they're not actually having a good time#whatever y'all want ! <3

lennon sat on a bench under a gazebo at a park in town. she had her guitar in hand with a notebook and pen laid out beside her. she strummed her guitar a few times before she began to play a small melody, tuning the guitar until it sounded perfect to her. ❝ are you capable of driving home tonight, or am i the one who has to get us home ? ❞ she began to sing, her eyes looking down at her hands as she strummed along. ❝ i handed you another chance to disappoint me, and again you did me wrong. ❞ she began to nodd her head a little with the music. ❝ am i really waking up alone again ? in your bed and you've already gone. ❞ her voice soft, eyes closed now. ❝ co existing at it's finest, yeah. we're barely trying anymore. ❞ she stopped, opened her eyes and began to write down the lyrics in her notebook, before looking up and noticing that people were beginning to point and stare at her. the girl cursed, wishing she was back on her parents estate where she was free to be creative wherever she wanted without the watchful eye of others, or neighbors who had a new baby that wouldn't wake up if she dropped a fork, let alone tried writing a new song. the girl packed up her things and tried to hurry an excape before she caused too much of a commotion. however, that wasn't in the cards for her as she ran smack into someone as she stepped off the gazebo, dropping her guitar case and notebook. ❝ oh, shit. i'm so sorry. ❞
