Revelation 21 ESV
The New Heaven and the New Earth
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place[a] of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people,[b] and God himself will be with them as their God.[c] 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
5 And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” 6 And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. 7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
The New Jerusalem
9 Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues and spoke to me, saying, “Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God, its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12 It had a great, high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and on the gates the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel were inscribed— 13 on the east three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on the west three gates. 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 And the one who spoke with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city and its gates and walls. 16 The city lies foursquare, its length the same as its width. And he measured the city with his rod, 12,000 stadia.[d] Its length and width and height are equal. 17 He also measured its wall, 144 cubits[e] by human measurement, which is also an angel's measurement. 18 The wall was built of jasper, while the city was pure gold, like clear glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every kind of jewel. The first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
22 And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb. 23 And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb. 24 By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it, 25 and its gates will never be shut by day—and there will be no night there. 26 They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations. 27 But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.

The Three Angels' Messages Lesson 01: The Final Countdown
When you read through the book of Revelation, it is very easy to get caught up in the imagery of beasts and plagues. However, Revelation is ultimately about Jesus. Did you know that Jesus has a special message for His people in the last days before the second coming?
This message is proclaimed in Revelation chapter 14 by three angels. In short, they are Jesus’ final push to save people from ultimate destruction. Today we are going to study the first angel’s message.
Revelation 14:6-7 - Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth–to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people–saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
What is so special about this message? How is it related to the Gospel?
Let’s read together Genesis 3:15; Deuteronomy 18:15; John 1:29; John 3:16; and Revelation 14:6
The key phrase in Revelation 14:6 is “the everlasting Gospel.”
The Gospel message is the same now as it was when Adam and Eve first received it. The people of the Old Testament were looking forward to a coming Savior who will save them from their sins. The people of the New Testament and throughout the centuries until today look forward to a Savior who died for our sins.
Jesus is that Savior, taking upon the sins of all of humanity when He died for our sins on the cross at Calvary two thousand years ago.
While the Gospel message never changes, people in a particular age may receive a specific mission or message. For this study, let’s refer to that specific mission or message as present truth.
For example, in the time of Noah, the present truth was to get in the ark. The world was about to be destroyed. The only way Jesus could save people was if they had the faith to get in the ark. For the people in the time of John the Baptist, the present truth was to accept his message that the coming Messiah was upon them. Did they have the faith to accept Jesus was the Messiah as pointed out by John? Today, the present truth is to heed the three angels’ messages.
Let’s read together Revelation 14:7.
The first angel has a global message, which has four parts:
Fear God
Give Him glory
The hour of His judgment has come
Worship Him
What does it mean to fear God? Let’s turn to Exodus 20:20; Deuteronomy 10:12; Proverbs 9:10; Jeremiah 32:40; and 1 John 4:18.
Many people, including Christians, believe that to fear God is to grovel before Him. They should be afraid of Him and try to appease Him in order to avoid His wrath.
However, the fear of God actually has nothing to do with being afraid of Him. To fear God, biblically speaking, is to give Him the reverence and respect He deserves. When we fear God in this manner, we can also love Him.
For example, we love our parents, but we should also show the proper respect due to them.
Let’s read together Psalm 29:2 and Luke 19:37-40.
What is glory? One of the Merriam-Webster Dictionary’s definitions of the word “glory” is “worshipful, praise, honor, and thanksgiving.”
Have you ever been to a sporting event, a concert, or even a movie with a large crowd who are really into the experience? Everyone shouting for joy at a particular moment or overcome with a sense of awe from what they just experienced? Even if you are someone who would never go to such events, have you ever experienced that sense of awe in the presence of God?
When we fear God, our lives will change. We will begin to see how great and wonderful He truly is. We will become in awe of Him. If we are in awe of God, we cannot help but give Him glory. We will gladly worship Him, praise Him, honor Him, and thank Him.
Let’s read together Daniel 2:33; 41-44; Malachi 3:5; Matthew 24:12-14; 1 Peter 4:17; 2 Peter 3:1-3; and Revelation 14:7.
Note that REvelation 14:7 says “the hour of judgment has come, not will come.” We know from Daniel chapter 2 and Matthew chapter 24 we are living in the end times.
There is an urgency to the first angel’s message. To put it into perspective, if you are a student, finals week is here. If you are into sports, the playoffs are here. If you are in the medical field, the board inspector is here.
There is no time to procrastinate. This is the final push to bring people to Jesus.
Let’s read together Genesis 24:48; Exodus 5:2; Nehemiah 9:3; Psalm 99:9; Matthew 14:33; and Revelation 7:11.
Why should we fear the Lord and give glory to Him? Pharoah once asked Moses the same question once. What kind of response will you get if you ask Christians, “why should you worship Jesus?” They will usually say something like “we worship Jesus because He died for our sins at Calvary and redeemed us.” It is a good answer, but not the entire answer.
Let’s read together Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 40:26; Isaiah 43:1; and Colossians 1:16.
Broadly speaking, humans are the only beings in the universe who do not acknowledge God as our Creator. The angels in heaven acknowledge God as their Creator. The unfallen beings in the rest of the universe acknowledge God as their Creator. We limit God when we do not acknowledge Him as our Creator.
In summary, the first angel’s message is not a new message. It is linked to the Gospel. It reminds us we should not be afraid of God. He is our Creator and He loves us. God is much bigger than we think of Him. Not only did He create us, He created the heavens and earth and everything within. God holds all of creation together with His power. He is calling us to come back to Him, to worship Him and give Him the respect He deserves. If you come to know Him then you will surely be in awe of Him. Your relationship with God will be more intimate and proud that any secular experience you could have.
Friend, if you love Jesus and are in awe of Him, will you share the first angel’s message with others?

The River of Life
1 And he shewed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, going out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of its street, and of the river, on this side and on that side, [the] tree of life, producing twelve fruits, in each month yielding its fruit; and the leaves of the tree for healing of the nations. 3 And no curse shall be any more; and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him, 4 and they shall see his face; and his name [is] on their foreheads. 5 And night shall not be any more, and no need of a lamp, and light of [the] sun; for [the] Lord God shall shine upon them, and they shall reign to the ages of ages.
Jesus is Coming
6 And he said to me, These words [are] faithful and true; and [the] Lord God of the spirits of the prophets has sent his angel to shew to his bondmen the things which must soon come to pass.
7 And behold, I come quickly. Blessed [is] he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.
8 And I, John, [was] he who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to do homage before the feet of the angel who shewed me these things. 9 And he says to me, See [thou do it] not. I am thy fellow-bondman, and [the fellow-bondman] of thy brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Do homage to God.
10 And he says to me, Seal not the words of the prophecy of this book. The time is near. 11 Let him that does unrighteously do unrighteously still; and let the filthy make himself filthy still; and let him that is righteous practise righteousness still; and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.
12 Behold, I come quickly, and my reward with me, to render to every one as his work shall be. 13 I [am] the Alpha and the Omega, [the] first and [the] last, the beginning and the end.
14 Blessed [are] they that wash their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life, and that they should go in by the gates into the city. 15 Without [are] the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loves and makes a lie.
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify these things to you in the assemblies. I am the root and offspring of David, the bright [and] morning star.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is athirst come; he that will, let him take [the] water of life freely.
Nothing May Be Added
18 I testify to every one who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any one shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues which are written in this book. 19 And if any one take from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.
20 He that testifies these things says, Yea, I come quickly. Amen; come, Lord Jesus.

You know what reaaaaally bugs me???? In HS2 there are 7 hands on a book. WHAT S UP WITH THAT? WHAT IS HAPPENING THERE? HAND PARTY? WHAT DOES IT MEAN?? everybody talk about the possible twin half brothers of Mc but nobody talks about the HANDS??!! is it obvious what they mean/symbolize and i'm just dumb??? What is happeing with the hands??? If there are 4 horsemen why are there 7 hands?????? What is hoing on man?????
I'm so glad you asked me that! 🤭 Because maybe I have an explanation that makes sense! It's a little longer, but it's here:
In the book of revelation we have a book sealed with seven seals, they are revealed throughout history, and also along with the appearance of the horsemen. In the bible, the only one "worthy" to open these seals is Jesus. They will probably adapt in another form in the story.
In this case, these seals are prophecies of what will happen in these last times.
When the 1st seal is opened, this passage appears:
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (Revelation 6:1-2).
This is one of the horsemen, not Plague, so probably Alice didn't follow the correct order of the seals, so things can change order.
On the 2nd seal:
And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. (Revelation 6:3-4)
This probably Plague's brother, War.
3rd Seal:
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. (Revelation 6:5-6)
This is another horsemen 👀
4th Seal:
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:7-8)
I think this is Plague 👀
5th Seal:
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
That probably hasn't happened yet in the story. But I'm curious to know how they'll adapt that.
6th Seal:
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
In this part the people of the earth are also "sealed" separating who is on the side of "God" who is not. Maybe is a reference to the resistence?
Also, this is probably when Earth will be totally destroyed.
And finally the 7th one:
And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
After this the trumpets of the angels are used and each one brings a different judgment, with more plagues and other things.
This is a lot, so I think she'll just adapt some things and change some parts.

Bible Verses on The End Times
2 Timothy 3:1-5- But know this: Hard times will come in the last days. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, demeaning, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irresponsible, slanderers, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people.
Joel 2:30-31- I will display wonders in the heavens and on the earth: blood, fire and columns of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes.
Amos 5:18- Woe to you who long for the day of the Lord! What will the day of the Lord be for you? It will be darkness and not light.
2 Peter 2: 1-2- There were indeed false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, and will bring swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their depraved ways, and the way of truth will be maligned because of them.
2 Peter 3:3-4- Above all, be aware of this: Scoffers will come in the last days scoffing and following their own evil desires, saying, "Where is his coming that he promised? Ever since our ancestors fell asleep, all things continue as they have been since the beginning of creation.
Matthew 24:44- This is why you are also to be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
Revelation 11:9-10- And some of the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations will view their bodies for three and a half days and not permit their bodies to be put into a tomb. Those who live on earth will gloat over them and celebrate and send gifts to one another because these two prophets had tormented those who live on earth.
Isaiah 66:8- Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day or a nation be delivered in an instant? Yet as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her sons.
1 Corinthians 15:24- Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when he abolishes all rule and all authority and power.
Revelation 17:8- The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up from the abyss and go to destruction. Those who live on the earth whose names have been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast that was, and is not, and is to come.
1 Timothy 4:1- Now the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will depart from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons.
1 Corinthians 15:28- When everything is subject to Christ, then the Son himself will also be subject to the one who subjected everything to him, so that God maybe all in all.
Matthew 24:21-22- For at that time there will be great distress, the kind that hasn't' taken place from the beginning of the world until now and never will again. Unless those days were cut short, no one would be saved. But those days will be cut short because of the elect.
Luke 21:36- But be alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place and to stand before the Son of Man.
Daniel 7:24- The ten horns are ten kings who will rise from this kingdom. Another king, different from the pervious ones, will rise after them and subdue three kings.
James 5:8- You also must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, because the Lord's coming is near.
Zechariah 14:12- This will be the plague with which the Lord strikes all the people who warred against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.
Matthew 24:14- This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Daniel 8:23-25- Near the end of their kingdoms, when the rebels have reached the full measure of their sin, a ruthless king skilled in intrigue will come to the throne. His power will be great, but it will not be his own. He will cause outrageous destruction and succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy the powerful along with the holy people. He will cause deceit to prosper through his cunning and by his influence, and his own mind he will exalt himself. He will destroy many in a time of peace, he will even stand against the Prince of Princes.
1 Thessalonians 5:3- When they say, "Peace and Security", then sudden destruction will come upon them, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
Daniel 12:4- But you, Daniel, keep these words secret and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam about, and knowledge will increase.
Daniel 9:24-27- Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to bring the rebellion to an end, to put a stop to sin, to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy place. Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until an Anointed one, the ruler, will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be rebuilt with a plaza and a moat, but in difficult times. After those sixty-two weeks the Anointed one will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the coming ruler will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end, will come with a flood, and until the end there will be war, desolations are decreed. He will make a firm covenant with many for one week he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering. And the abomination of desolation will be on a wing of the temple until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator.
Matthew 24:12- Because lawlessness will multiply, the love of many will grow cold.
Daniel 12:11- From the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up there will be 1,290 days.
Luke 21:25-26- Then there will be signs in the sun, moon and stars, and there will be an anguish on the earth among the nations bewildered by the roaring of the sea and the waves. People will faint from fear and expectation of the things that are coming on the world, because the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Matthew 24:8-All these events are the beginning of labor pains.
Mark 13:32- Now concerning that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, but only the Father.
Romans 8:21- That the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage to decay into the glorious freedom of God's children.
Romans 8:22- For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together with labor pains until now.

The Month of Nissan
Passover, Unleavened Bread and First fruits
PASSOVER
The Passover is a festival that commemorates the deliverance of the Israelites from Egyptian bondage. This is found in the Torah, in the book of Exodus chapter 12. Exodus 6:6 tells us the following; “Therefore, say to the sons of Israel, I am YAHWEH, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of Egypt, and will deliver you from their slavery. And I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.”
Moses, who had been raised in Pharaoh’s palace, was called and sent by God to tell Pharaoh, “Let my people go.” Exodus 8:1 reads; “And the LORD spoke unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus says the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.” So Pharaoh refused hence the start of what is known as the ‘Ten Plagues’ that led to Egypt’s demise and eventual downfall. The tenth plague was the worst of ALL the plagues, that being the deaths of ALL the firstborns of Egypt.
The deaths of all the firstborn happen on the very evening of the ‘Passover’ as earlier that evening each of the Israelite families had sacrificed a spotless lamb, and as instructed by Moses, they marked their doorpost and lintels with blood as Exodus 12:21-22 indicates; “21- And Moses called to all the elders of Israel and said to them, Draw out and take of the flock for you and for your families, and kill the Passover. 22- And take a bunch of hyssop and dip in the blood in the basin. And touch some of the blood in the basin to the lintel and on the two doorposts. And you shall not go out, anyone from the door of his house until morning.” This insured that death would pass over the households with the blood mark over their doorpost and lintels; “23- And YAHWEH will pass through to strike Egypt. And He will see the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, and YAHWEH will pass over the door. And He will not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.” Hence, the name ‘PASSOVER.’
Since the Israelites kept God’s commandments and instructions given to them via Moses, all their firstborn lived, while the Egyptians didn’t. Walling and pain was heard through the midnight hours as all the firstborn from Egypt died; see Exodus 12:21–29. Then and only then, Pharaoh released the Israelites; see Exodus 12:31-32.
Passover is a commemorative meal in remembrance of how God delivered its people. The meal consisted of fire-roasted lamb, bitter herbs, and unleavened bread as instructed by God; see Exodus 12:8, and God, via Moses, instructed the Israelites to “you shall observe this Word for an ordinance for you, and for your sons forever.” (Exodus 12:24). And so they do to this day. Wherever they are, whatever country they reside, they observe and keep the ‘PASSOVER.’
This should be and is important to every believer since Yeshua, Jesus, not only fulfilled the written law of the Torah, according to Mathew 5:17; “Do not think that I came to annul the Torah or the Prophets; I did not come to annul, but to fulfill.” But He also became the ‘Passover’ Lamb, the lamb that was slain for our sins. Yeshua was killed at Passover time, and the ‘Last Supper’ was a Passover meal according to Luke 22:7 & 8 that reads; “7- And the day of the Unleavened came, on which the Passover must be slaughtered. 8- And He sent Peter and John, saying, Having gone, prepare for us the Passover, that we may eat.” The blood of Messiah has been applied to every believer by faith (spiritually speaking), hence, we are saved from death and eternal damnation. Jesus became our Passover Lamb as 1 Corinthians 5:7 tells us; “Then clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are unleavened. For our Passover is Messiah who was sacrificed for our sake.” And Revelations 5:12 says the following; “saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb having been slain to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.”
The Passover was a fore shadow of God’s redemptive power of how His son (the Lamb of God) was to deliver humanity from sin (Egypt). Salvation would come for all those that would chose to obey God’s commandments.
Note: Constellation: Aries (THE RAM or LAMB) – The 1st Month of The Spiritual Calendar
Aries is a lamb or ram bounding across the night sky. Its Hebrew name is TALEH, “the lamb.” The Passover lamb as heaven and earth connect. The constellations brightest star is called “The head of the ram.” The ram and the lamb are powerful symbols of salvation.
It is possible that the first six constellations may be prophetically speaking of the 1st Coming of Messiah and the last 6 constellations are speaking of the 2nd Coming of Messiah. The Jewish people itself is symbolized by a lamb (surrounded by seventy wolves). Of all of God's creations, the lamb possesses the innate ability to arouse mercy by its voice (the origin of the sense of speech of the month of Nissan).
Unleavened Bread
As I mentioned before, the meal consisted of fire-roasted lamb, bitter herbs, and unleavened bread. Leviticus 23:6-8 reads as follow; 6- And on the fifteenth day of this month is the Feast of Unleavened to YAHWEH; you shall eat unleavened things seven days. 7- On the first day you shall have a holy gathering; you shall do no laborious work; 8- and you shall bring near a fire offering to YAHWEH seven days; and the seventh day shall be a holy gathering; you shall do no laborious work.” This feast of ‘Unleavened bread was to be kept for seven days and it is followed right after Passover. From 15 Nissan to 21 Nissan. This feast is a purifying feast representing the purity that Israel was to walk in. This is illustrated in the fact that during those seven days they would eat bread without leaven. The leaven symbolized sin and sin was representative of Egypt, hence their deliverance from it during the spilled blood of the lamb on the evening of the Passover.
First fruits
This is a Jewish feast that is held the beginning of the grain harvest in early spring. It’s observed in the 16 Nissan three days after the Passover and on the second day of the feast of Unleavened Bread. First fruits is a time of thanksgiving for God’s provision.
First fruits is an offering unto God that was instituted by God as Leviticus 23:9-14 states. It reads as follow; “9- And YAHWEH spoke to Moses, saying, 10- Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, When you come in to the land which I am giving to you, and have reaped its harvest, and have brought in the Omer, of the beginning of your harvest, to the priest, 11- then he shall wave the Omer before YAHWEH for your acceptance; on the morrow of the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12- And you shall prepare a lamb in the day you wave the Omer, one without blemish, a son of a year, for a burnt offering to YAHWEH. 13- And its food offering shall be two tenths part of flour mixed with oil, a fire offering to YAHWEH, a sweet fragrance; and its drink offering, a fourth of a hin of wine. 14- And you shall not eat bread, nor roasted grain, nor fresh ears, until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your Elohim; it is a never ending statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings.” The people were to bring a sheaf of grain to the priest, who would then wave it before the Lord. A burnt offering, a meal offering, and a drink offering were also required at that time. Deuteronomy 26:1-10 gives greater details on the procedure of first fruits.
Leviticus 23:14 tells us specifically that no grain could be harvested until the first fruits offering was brought to the Lord. This was an offering made in memory of Israel’s sojourn in Egypt, God’s deliverance and redemption from slavery, and their possession of “a land that floweth with milk and honey.” Leviticus 20:24 “But I have said to you, You shall surely possess their land; and, I, I am giving it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey; I am YAHWEH your Elohim, who has set you apart from the nations.” (See also Numbers 13:27, Deuteronomy 6:3; 11:9; 26:9 and many more references totaling 21 scriptures mentioning a land flowing with milk and honey).
First fruits offering is mentioned seven times in the New Testament and it is always used in a symbolic way as indicated by the Apostle Paul in Romans 16:5 and 1 Corinthians 16:15.
Yeshua himself fulfilled the first fruit offering according to 1 Corinthians 15:20 that reads as follow; “But now Messiah has been raised from the dead; He became the first-fruit of those having fallen asleep.” When Yeshua, Jesus, resurrected HE PAVED THE WAY FOR ALL BELIEVERS RESURRECTION. Jesus was crucified and died on Passover but God raised Jesus from the dead on the Feast of First fruits, 16 Nissan, to show that He was the First fruits of a new creation, exactly three days after Passover, a day of thanksgiving for God’s provision. Paul said that His resurrection guarantees our resurrection. The FIRST of a great harvest.
God had planned this before the foundation of the earth. First fruits represents the following; we are to give to God from the premises of a grateful heart, more so that Jesus gave His life to redeem us, to restore our fellowship with the Father. Above all, we are to give Him the first and the best of ALL He has given us. Messiah fulfilled the law therefore we are to give freely, cheerfully and with all liberty knowing and understanding the price that Messiah paid for us. Let us gather the first fruits that symbolizes God’s harvest of souls. After all, Yeshua did that for us.
I end with this verse out of 2 Corinthians 9:6&7 that reads; “6- But remember this: the one sowing sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one sowing generously will also reap generously. 7- Each one as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or out of necessity, for YAHWEH loves a cheerful giver. (Prov. 22:8)”
May the Lord Bless you and keep you; Shalom

SELF DESTRUCT, THE GLOBAL DESTRUCTION SUCH AS NEVER WAS, May 15, 2026
God promised to bestow His blessings on those who faithfully kept His commandments.
DEUTERONOMY 28:1-2, 15
(1) …if thou shalt HEARKEN diligently… to observe and to DO all his COMMANDMENTS…
(2) …all these BLESSINGS shall COME on thee…
(15) …if thou wilt NOT HEARKEN… to DO all his COMMANDMENTS… all these CURSES shall COME upon thee…
On the other hand, everyone who disregards to keep God's commandments will certainly suffer the corresponding curses (Deuteronomy 28:53-55, 58-59, 63).
Herein, God has been aggravated (Revelation 6:14-17) to all who remain rebellious against His commandments, especially those who forsake to keep the Sabbath of the Lord (2 Chronicles 36:19-21).
ISAIAH 5:24 Therefore as the FIRE DEVOURETH the stubble… because they have CAST AWAY the LAW of the LORD…
JEREMIAH 17:18, 27
(18) …bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with DOUBLE DESTRUCTION.
(27) But if ye will NOT HEARKEN unto me to HALLOW the SABBATH DAY… then will I KINDLE a FIRE in the gates thereof, and it shall DEVOUR the palaces of JERUSALEM…
REVELATION 16:18-21
(18) …there was a GREAT EARTHQUAKE, such as was not since men were upon the earth…
(19) …and the cities of the nations fell… to give unto her the cup of the wine of the FIERCENESS of his WRATH.
(20) And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
(21) And there fell upon men a great hail… men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail…
Man’s firm refusal to yield on keeping God’s laws prompts Him to leave them desolate even until His Second Coming (Matthew 23:37-39).
MATTHEW 24:1-3
(1) And JESUS WENT OUT, and DEPARTED from the TEMPLE…
(2) …There shall NOT be Left here ONE STONE upon another, that shall not be THROWN DOWN.
(3) And as he sat upon the mount of Olives… Tell us, WHEN shall these things be?… and of the END of the WORLD?
God foretold the downfall of all despisers of God’s words who received the mark of the beast, which is Sunday, the spurious Sabbath, for all will take part in the great slaughter (Revelation 17:12-14, 16-17, Ezekiel 9:4-10).
God placed His appointed time on the date of the First and Second Destructions of Jerusalem, which will have a global recurrence in these last days (Jeremiah 17:18, Ecclesiastes 3:15).
“What has happened to JERUSALEM may be a HARBINGER of the Son of Man’s visitation upon earth…” NEW COLLEGEVILLE BIBLE COMMENTARY (NEW TESTAMENT) BY DANIEL DURKEN, p. 297
586 BCE – FIRST Destruction, 70 CE – SECOND Destruction
BY USING CONCATENATION:
586 + 7 = 5867 (flipped figure of 5786)
The Hebrew year 5786 corresponds to the year 2026 in the Gregorian calendar, which is the exact year of Christ’s return.
In these last days, blatant transgression of God’s law, notably the everlasting covenant, which is the Sabbath, will likewise be the cause of global destruction.
ISAIAH 24:4-6
(4) The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth…
(5) The earth also is DEFILED… because they have TRANSGRESSED the LAWS… BROKEN the EVERLASTING COVENANT.
(6) Therefore hath the CURSE devoured the earth… the INHABITANTS of the earth are BURNED…
This occurrence was being foretold as the Time of trouble, Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21), or Jacob’s Time of Trouble (Jeremiah 30:5-7), which had never been since the world began.
DANIEL 12:1 …there shall be a TIME OF TROUBLE, such as NEVER WAS… thy people shall be DELIVERED, every one that shall be found WRITTEN in the BOOK.
Thereby, man has just opted to destroy himself by remaining defiant against God.
HOSEA 13:9 …thou hast DESTROYED THYSELF; but in me is thine help.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Analyze Final Chapter” of God’s Word on this Edition of End of the Age!
t is the last chapter in the Bible—Revelation 22. What are the messages, and warnings, God chose to conclude “His Book”—the most important book ever written, which has the very words to eternal life? We will analyze the “Final Chapter” of God’s Word on this edition of End of the Age! Revelation 21 reveals the New Jerusalem is the bride of Christ—the church. We also learn there are two Jerusalems: the physical Jerusalem located in the land of Israel and the spiritual Jerusalem being constructed as God gives birth to His church.
Throughout that chapter, God is describing the New Jerusalem to John:
The Church is the Tabernacle of God – In the great sermon preached by the first martyr Stephen just before he was stoned, he said, “Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,” (Acts 7:48). The One escorting John said, “I will show you the bride.” We come to the central purpose of Revelation 21:9-10, “And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,” When Jesus promised to show John the bride, the Lamb’s wife, He showed him the holy Jerusalem. In this scripture we have absolute proof the bride is the holy Jerusalem.
The New Jerusalem has 12 Gates The New Jerusalem has 12 Foundations The symbolic measurements of the New Jerusalem Adorned with precious stones and streets of gold as it were transparent glass. No Sun or Moon in the City – Jesus will be the light! The Gates of the New Jerusalem will Never be Shut This brings us to Chapter 22.
BEHOLD I COME QUICKLY! John continues to describe the New Jerusalem in Revelation 22:1, “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.”
When Jesus met the woman at the well in John 4:10, He asked her for water to drink. She questioned Him asking her for a drink since He was a Jew and she was a Samaritan. He answered her in John 4:10, “Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.”
Jesus explained further about the living water in John 4:13-14, “Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
Jesus also spoke of the living water on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles in John 7:37-39, “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”
Jesus explicitly stated the living water was His Spirit, the gift of the Holy Ghost. As verse 39 explains, at the time He spoke of this living water, it was not yet given because His Spirit only became available after He was glorified.
Revelation 22:2 goes on to describe the Tree of Life which grew beside the River of Life. We first see the Tree of Life in the midst of the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve were created. Once they disobeyed God by eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, they were forbidden from eating of the Tree of Life lest they should live forever. To the saved who will dwell in the New Jerusalem, they will be given open access to the Water of Life and the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is described in Revelation 22:2, “In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
Notice the leaves of the Tree of Life were for the healing of the nations. This is simply reminding us again that there will be no sickness, no pain and no death in the New Jerusalem.
Revelation 22:3-4 provides more information about the wonders of the New Jerusalem, “And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.”
When this passage says there will be no more curse, it is because Jesus bore the curse for us. Galatians 3:13 says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.”
The passage also reveals we will be the Lamb’s servants and will serve Him. We will have access to His presence continually. I Thessalonians 4:17, “And so shall we ever be with the Lord.” Revelation 22:4 continues to say we shall see His face and His name shall be in our foreheads. Jesus’ name is placed in our foreheads when we are baptized in His name.
John concludes his record of the vision of the New Jerusalem in Revelation 22:5, “And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.”
Just imagine no need for the sun or electricity or for any artificial light! For we will dwell in His presence and He is the light! Finally, we are reminded again we shall reign with Jesus Christ forever and forever!
In Revelation 22, we will hear the admonition of God Himself as He issues His final words designed for those of us who live in the end time, the day of His return to the earth.
As we learned in the last chapter, the first five verses of chapter 22 continue to describe the glories of the New Jerusalem. Then this final chapter of Revelation restates the purpose for which this last book of the Bible was given. Revelation 22:6 declares the purpose very clearly, “And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”
Jesus said He sent His angel to show His servants the things that must shortly come to pass. Our Lord wants His servants to know what the future holds.
Our new series, Revelation – The Unveiling of Jesus Christ Volume 1 and 2, was created to give understanding to all who desire to know the things that will soon come to pass.
In this sixth verse we are also told the identity of the one who has been talking to John throughout the vision. God said He “sent His angel” to show us the things that must come to pass.
Revelation 22:7 gives us the theme of the final chapter of the last book of the Bible, “Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.” Many people have questioned why the declaration, “Behold, I come quickly” would be made when the Book of Revelation was written almost 2,000 years ago. This scripture saying, “Behold, I come quickly,” has proven true for each generation since the Book of Revelation was given to John. Jesus has been calling individuals home for over 2,000 years and it always seems to come too quickly. As James 4:14 says,
“…For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”
As the generation who will soon see the physical return of Jesus to the earth, the words have never rung truer, “Behold, I come quickly!” Three times in this closing chapter of the Holy Scriptures, God repeats the phrase, “Behold, I come quickly.” This leaves no doubt the overriding purpose of this final book of Scripture is to warn us to be ready for His coming.
After saying, “Behold, I come quickly,” Jesus went on to say, “Blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.” What does He mean by this statement? How can we keep the sayings of the prophecies given in the Book of Revelation?
In chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation, messages are given straight from Jesus to the seven churches of Asia. We are told what they were doing right and what they were doing wrong. We should learn from these messages and adjust our conduct accordingly.
In chapter 6 of Revelation, the four spirits that seek to control the human race, Catholicism, Communism, Capitalism and Islamism are revealed. We should understand these forces and not allow our lives to be controlled by them.
What about Capitalism? It’s okay to have money, just don’t let the love of it control you. 1 Timothy 6:10, “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
In chapter 7, God devotes this entire chapter to the great Jewish-Gentile revival that will be poured out in the end time. By revealing this revival to us, Jesus wants us to prepare to participate in this final harvest just before His Second Coming.
The church should be in a perpetual state of evangelism—preaching and teaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God around the world. Matthew 24;14, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
In chapters 8-11, the Seven Trumpets are given to us so we can understand the world-changing events that are happening all around us. Jesus told us in Matthew 24:6, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
Although we are living through the events prophesied in the Seven Trumpets, Jesus told us not to be troubled by all these climactic events. He was saying we should stay on course and accomplish what He has called us to do in reaping the final harvest.
In chapter 12, we are given an overview of events from the birth of Christ all the way to the end of the Great Tribulation. In verse 14 of this chapter, it is revealed that the eagle (the U.S.) will stand with Israel against the entire world in the end time. This information should give the United States confidence to stand against the Antichrist and his world government though most of the nations of the world will be against us.
Chapter 13 clearly reveals to us Satan’s plan for the last days. We are shown the Antichrist and his world government, the False Prophet and his world religion and the enforcement mechanism of Satan’s plan to cause all people to worship him. This enforcement mechanism is called the Mark of the Beast.
God exposes Satan’s masterplan, which is the establishment of his physical kingdom on the earth, in this chapter and it is of eternal consequence to participate in it.
It is the understanding of these prophecies, which lets us know you 1) Should never pledge allegiance to a world government or it’s leader 2) Never be part of the huge move towards a world religion, interfaithism or ecumenism 3) Place a mark of identification on your person.
In chapter 14, we are told all who worship the Antichrist and receive the Mark of the Beast will be tormented forever and forever in the presence of the Lamb and His holy angels. The chapter then concludes with an account of the Two Harvests, the harvest of the wheat and the harvest of the tares. This gives us Revelation’s third account of the Rapture of the church and the Battle of Armageddon.
Chapters 15-16 record the coming Wrath of God that will be poured out upon His enemies during the Battle of Armageddon Bible.
After these chapters, God interrupts the flow of the Book of Revelation to interject the account of His judgment that will be poured out upon false Christianity.
Chapters 17 and 18 are devoted to the judgment of Mystery Babylon and all of her daughters. His warning to all of us is given in Revelation 18:4, “…Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
Revelation 19:7 gives us the final account of the Rapture and the Battle of Armageddon, “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.”
In chapter 20, we see the binding of Satan for 1,000 years, the millennial reign of Jesus and His church and the Great White Throne of Judgment.
When we arrive at chapter 21, we are told in no uncertain terms the New Jerusalem is a portrayal of the bride. The angel said to John in Revelation 21:9-10, “…Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.” The rest of the chapter then goes on to describe many of the wonderful attributes of the church.
The Book of Revelation is finalized in Revelation 22:6-21. We are told many things in these last 16 verses.
Worship No One Else but God
After seeing all the visions and prophecies given to him in the Book of Revelation, John was overwhelmed. Revelation 22:8-9 reveals his reaction, “And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.”
John’s impulse was to fall at the feet of the angel that had shown him all of these incredible revelations. The angel immediately reproved him and reminded him of a truth none of us should ever forget! The angel said, “Worship God.” When Jesus was tempted by Satan to worship him in Matthew 4:10, Jesus quoted the words of the First Commandment, “…Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”
We all must forever remember there is one and only one God. Never worship anyone else! Never pray to anyone else!
The Time is at Hand
In Revelation 22:10, the angel speaking with John said unto him, “…Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.”
Many people have questioned the statement “the time is at hand” since the Book of Revelation was written almost 2,000 years ago. Why did the angel say, “The time is at hand?” This statement is true because the Book of Revelation covers the entire 2,000 years from the time it was written until now. The seven churches to whom God sent messages in chapters 2 and 3 existed at the time Revelation was being written. In chapter 5, we are shown Heaven before Jesus came to the earth as a Lamb. Then we see the Lamb as it had been slain.
Afterward, we see the prophecy of the Four Horsemen representing the four spirits that would control the nations of the earth from Christ until His Second Coming. All of these things explain why the angel instructed John to not seal up the book because the time is at hand.
The Last-Minute Call
It appears Revelation 22:11-20 is specifically directed at the people who will be on earth at the time of the conclusion of the events of the Book of Revelation. Revelation 22:11-12 seems to speak to those who are living right before the time of the Rapture, “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”
Think of that moment when the last sermon has been preached, the last altar invitation has been given, the last prayer has been prayed and every person’s eternal destination has been locked in! Those who are unjust will remain unjust and those who are filthy will face eternity in their filthy condition. Those who have lived lives of holiness and righteousness will meet God in their righteous condition. It’s sobering to think about this time but it is a time that will soon come! Jesus then repeats His warning, “Behold, I come quickly!”
In Revelation 22:14-15 it’s almost as though Jesus decides to give one more appeal, “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”
Deuteronomy 30:19 repeats the call made to mankind throughout the Old and New Testaments, “…I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”
I am the Root and the Offspring of David
Throughout the Book of Revelation, Jesus declares who He really is. From Revelation 1:8 when He declared, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty” to Revelation 1:18 where He said, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore…”
As He brings His Holy Scriptures to a close in Revelation 22:16, He declares, “…I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”
How could He claim to be both the root and the offspring of David? Because as Almighty God who created all things, He is the root of David; and as the Son of God, He is the offspring of David!
Whosoever will, Come
Even as the Book of Revelation draws to a close, Jesus is still calling for His prized creation, the human race, to come to salvation. Revelation 22:17, “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
This passage is telling the world God’s Spirit is calling everyone to salvation. The bride (the church) is also saying, “Come.” The most wonderful message of this scripture is “whosoever will” may come. It is not God’s will for anyone to be lost. Whosoever will means whosoever desires to come can be saved. If you want to be saved, you can be!
A Final Warning
God issues a solemn warning in Revelation 22:18-19, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
It is apparent God did not want the prophecies of the Book of Revelation to be tampered with. He said if anyone added to the prophecies found in Revelation, He would add unto that person the plagues found in the book. He went on to say in verse 19, if anyone would take away the words of the Book of Revelation, God would take away his part out of the Book of Life.
We see a very important truth declared here in verse 19. God warned that a person’s name could be removed from the Book of Life. There are many people who teach once a person’s name is written in the Book of Life, it cannot be removed. However, this verse declares the opposite. This is not stating that anyone besides ourselves can remove our name from the Lamb’s Book of Life. However, it is stating that through our own actions, we could cause our names to be removed from the Lamb’s Book of Life even after they were once written there.
There’s another very important truth that should be learned from verses 18 and 19. Not only should we not add or take away from the Book of Revelation but we should also not alter any of the Scriptures. The Apostle Paul said in II Timothy 3:16, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”
Every one of us should have a deep reverence for the sacredness of God’s Word. We should never attempt to alter it to fit our lifestyle or to justify something we are doing wrong. Psalm 119:89 reveals, “For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”
John concludes this marvelous book in Revelation 22:20-21, “He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with you all. Amen.”
For the third time in this final chapter, we receive the warning from Jesus that He is coming quickly. Then John adds his own commentary, “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” Finally, John signs off with his final salutation, “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
The Book of Revelation was written to be understood!
The Book of Revelation was written by the Apostle John 2,000 years ago. However, he died not understanding the meaning of what he had written. This happened because the Book of Revelation was not for his time. It was given for the present time in which you and I live just before the Second Coming of Jesus to the earth.
The title of the last book of the Bible is, Revelation – The Unveiling of Jesus Christ. The word “revelation” comes from the Greek word “Apocalypsis”, which means the “revealing” or the “unveiling”. The entire Book of Revelation is the dramatization of the Unveiling of Jesus Christ to the world at the time of His Second Coming.
Most of the Book of Revelation has been hidden in mystery for the last 2,000 years. Right now, just before the Rapture, we are understanding things that have never been understood before.
Revelation contains four different accounts of the Unveiling of Jesus to the world. Each of these accounts is preceded by an account of events that will lead up to the Second Coming. Each of these accounts supplies a different dramatic view of things that will happen before the Second Coming. It is as though God couldn’t just tell the story once. There will be so many exciting things involved in His Unveiling that He had to record the events from four different perspectives. Each of these four narratives concludes at the same event – the dramatic Second Coming of Jesus to the earth!
The theme of the entire Book of Revelation is found in Revelation 1:7, “Behold, He Cometh.” In Revelation – The Unveiling of Jesus Christ, Volume 2, you will view 11 animated videos portraying the events the Apostle John was shown on the Isle of Patmos. Accompanying these 11 videos is a 268-page hardback book that will assist you in your study of this book written 2,000 years ago for those of us who live in these end times.
Experience with the Apostle John the visions given for the end time. Their meaning will become amazingly clear to you through the animated videos of Revelation – The Unveiling of Jesus Christ. Believe it or not, you will be able to understand what God sent to us by John over 2,000 years ago.

Greetings in the matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Great Message of Revelation: Eleven Stirring Facts!
Rhema Word: Revelation 22:7 (NKJV) “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
Let us pray. Our Gracious Loving Father, thank You for giving us an opportunity to meditate Your Word today along with Your children who have been called to live a holy life, Father. I commit everyone who are all meditating this message into Your mighty hand Father. Bless them and give them the oneness of Spirit and make their heart as a good land to receive each Word which is living and active Father. Thank You Holy Spirit for helping us to understand the in-depth treasure of Your Word and helping us to live a life as per Your Word Lord. We give all the Glory and Honour to You only Father. We pray in the mighty Name of Your beloved Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
This passage closes the great book of Revelation. It is also the final words of the Word of God, for the great book of the Bible. Jesus Christ has sounded forth the great message of Revelation. He has revealed the end of time what is going to happen during the last years of human history. The things He has shown have been astounding. They have caused us to stand in stark amazement at the glory and majesty of God, at His supreme intelligence and power. We have seen God’s ability and power to take all the ungodliness and evil of this world and work them all out for good. Think back over what we have seen:
=> We saw God holding the great Book of Destiny in His hand and Jesus Christ walking over and taking it and opening it up to reveal the future of the world.
=> We saw that the world is going to experience an increase in natural catastrophes – all so destructive that whole areas of the world will be devastated.
=> We saw that a great charismatic leader is to arise upon the world scene who will become so evil that he can only be described as a beast. He will be the antichrist a man who will have the answers to peace and to some of the world’s terrible problems. We saw that the world will turn to him because of his answers and that he will actually bring peace and solve some of the massive problems of society.
=> We saw that once the antichrist has consolidated his power over a number of nations he will institute a world-wide loyalty to the state - what might be called a state religion. Every citizen will be required to give his loyalty to the state as the great provider and protector of its citizens. We have seen that the antichrist will turn from the good that he will do and launch the worst evil the world has ever known. He will instigate the worst holocaust ever feared by man, a holocaust that will slaughter literally millions and millions of people – people of all religions who refuse to give their first loyalty and allegiance to the state.
=> We saw that the government, society, and religion of the world will become so evil under the antichrist that God will make the decision to go ahead and judge the ungodly and evil of the world and end world history.
=> We saw the judgement of God that will fall upon the earth, the great seal judgements that will bring famine and disease and that will kill one fourth of the earth’s population.
=> We saw the great trumpet judgements that will bring violent storms, volcanic eruptions, a meteoric mass, astronomical happenings in space – all so devastating that one third of the earth’s vegetation, seas, and water supply will be destroyed. We also saw that there will be plague of locust-like creatures that will torment all the ungodly and evil of the earth. We also saw that there will be a plague of demonic military horsemen which will kill one third of the population of the earth.
=> We saw the end come in the seven bowl judgements that will fall upon the earth. The bowl judgements are the final judgements that end world history. We saw an ulcerous sore that will hit the human race. We also saw the total pollution of the sea and fresh water supply of the earth and the death of all sea life. We saw that the rays of the sun will hit the earth with a scorching heat, then a pitch-black darkness will strike the earth. And then we saw that the most massive military buildup and the largest army every witnessed by the earth will be launched by the antichrist.
=> We saw that the antichrist and his massive army will be destroyed in one moment’s time at the last battle of human history, Armageddon.
=> We saw that the Lord Jesus Christ will usher in the Millenium, a period of one thousand years when He will rule and reign upon the earth.
=> We saw that the Lord Jesus Christ will destroy satan and the present heaven and earth and judge the dead at the great white throne judgement of God.
=> And finally, we saw that the Lord Jesus Christ will create a new heaven and earth. And we saw the New Jerusalem, the capital of the new heavens and earth and the eternal rule and reign of believers with Jesus Christ.
This is what we have seen. These are the highlights of what God has revealed to us in the great Book of Revelation. Now the point is this: what God has revealed is important to Him. God wants man to know what lies ahead so that he can prepare himself. He has warned man of the terrible things that are coming upon the earth. But He has also given hope to man. There is a better world coming, the most glorious of worlds, a perfect heaven and earth: a world in which there will be no sorrow or tears, suffering or death; a world of righteousness and joy and life. God wants man to know the message of Revelation. Therefore, as the Lord Jesus Christ closes this great book, everything He says has to do with the overall message of the book. The message of Revelation is so important that the Lord takes the time and space to talk about the message of Revelation itself. This is what the Lord has to say about the great Book of Revelation, about the message of Revelation.
Let us try to meditate on the following Eleven Stirring Facts, which are given by the Lord Himself to John, with help of our Holy Spirit, today:
(1) The Message is Trustworthy and True:
(2) The Message will Bring a Blessing to the Person:
(3) The Message Stirs Worship:
(4) The Message is to be Read & Studied by All:
(5) The Message Focuses upon the Lord’s Return & Judgement to Come:
(6) The Message Tells us Who will be Accepted by the Lord:
(7) The Message Tells us Who will be Rejected by the Lord:
(8) The Message is Proclaimed by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself:
(9) The Message Offers the Greatest Invitation ever Extended to Man:
(10) The Message MUST NOT be Tampered with:
(11) The Message Closed with the Greatest of All Assurances:
(1) The Message is Trustworthy and True:
The Bible says in Revelation 22:6 “Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.”
The message of Revelation is trustworthy and true. Yes, the message can be trusted and not a message created by the imagination of men. Yes, the message of Revelation is from the same Lord God that inspired the prophets of Old Testament. The Lord God gave the prophets their message, and He is the One who has given the great message of Revelation. It is a matter of belief. We either believe or do not believe that the Scripture is the Word of God. We either believe or do not believe the prophets and writers of Scripture. The Lord Jesus Christ has done just what this verse declares: shown us “the things that must soon take place”. We either believer or do not believe that He has done it. But whatever our decision is, we had better listen to what He has to say in the remaining points of this passage. Failure to do so could doom us for eternity.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said in Mark 13:31; John 6:63; 12:48; 14:24 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” … “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” … “He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.” … “He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.”
(2) The Message will Bring a Blessing to the Person:
The Bible says in Revelation 22:7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
The message of Revelation will bring a blessing to the person who studies and obeys the prophecies of the book. The person who really studies Revelation will be blessed in a very special way:
=> He will be drawn closer to the Lord, be given a deeper awareness and sense of the Lord’s presence.
=> He will know what is coming upon the earth in the end time and be better prepared to cope until the Lord comes.
=> He will understand more about the ungodly and evil of this world and more about how God is going to conquer all the evil and bring righteousness to the earth.
=> He will understand heaven more and be more strongly stirred to long for heaven.
=> He will be drawn by the Spirit of God into more and more fellowship with the Lord in preparation for that glorious day of redemption.
On and on the list could go, for the Lord’s blessings are endless to the person who truly studies His Word. But note: there is a strong reason for studying and obeying the prophecies of Revelation. The Lord says, “Behold, I am coming soon!”. The events are about to roll in upon the earth. The idea is that the events are going to happen ever so quickly, one rolling in upon the other. Therefore, we must be prepared, and we must quickly witness to a world lost in crime, drugs, suffering, and death. We must study and study Revelation. We must prepare ourselves and do what we can to prepare others, for the Lord and the final days of human history are upon us.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said in John 8:51; 14:15-16, 23; 17:6 “Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My Word, he shall never see death.” … “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.” … “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” … “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.”
The Bible says in 1 John 2:3; Revelation 3:8 “Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.” … “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”
(3) The Message Stirs Worship:
The Bible says in Revelation 22:8-9 “Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
The message of Revelation stirs worship. When John heard the prophecies of the Revelation, he was so astounded that he was gripped with a spirit of fear and worship. He actually fell down at the feet of the angel who was delivering the message for the Lord. This was the second time that John had done this (Rev.19:10). Again, the angel rebuked John He told John to get up, for angels are only servants of God just as men are. He told John to worship God and God alone.
The point is this: the message of Revelation should astound us and stir us to worship. But we must make sure that we worship the true and living God and Him alone.
Lesson: The great tragedy is this: so many are worshipping false gods, their own idea of what God is like. They are religious and have been baptized; they attend church and sometimes serve in the church. But they…
=> reject Jesus Christ as the Son of God who died for their sins;
=> refuse to live a godly and righteous life for Jesus Christ;
=> reject the Scriptures as the Word of God;
=> reject the Revelation as the prophecy of the Lord, the prophecy that reveals what is to happen in the end time.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 4:10; John 4:24 “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” … “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
The Bible says in Revelation 14:7; 1 Chronicles 16:29; Psalm 95:6; 96:9 “Saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.” … “Give to the Lord the glory due His name; Bring an offering and come before Him. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!” … “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.” … “Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth.”
(4) The Message is to be Read & Studied by All:
The Bible says in Revelation 22:10-11 “And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand. He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”
The message of Revelation is to be read and studied. The instructions of the Lord are clear: the book of Revelation is never to be sealed, that is, closed. It is to be read, studied, preached, and taught – always. Two reasons are given:
(i) Because the time for the events to fall upon the earth are near. We can never be prepared, nor can we prepare others unless we understand what is coming and get ready for their coming.
(ii) Because the time is coming when it will be too late to prepare (v.11). The more a person hardens his heart, the harder he becomes and the less likely he will be to change. If we do not repent, turn away from this world of sin and turn to God – if we do not get into the Word of God and the prophecies of Revelation – then our hearts will become harder and harder, more and more stubborn. Then when the events of the end time hit the earth, we will be unprepared, and our hearts will be so stubborn and hard we will be lost eternally.
=> We will be unjust, doing wrong so we will remain unjust, doing wrong.
=> We will be vile, so we will remain vile.
But if we turn to God and begin to study Revelation and do what Revelation says, we will be righteous and remain righteous. We will be holy and remain holy.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said in Mark 3:29; 8:36 “But he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation” … “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?”
The Bible says in Hebrews 12:17; Proverbs 24:20 “For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.” … “For there will be no prospect for the evil man; The lamp of the wicked will be put out.”
(5) The Message Focuses upon the Lord’s Return & Judgement to Come:
The Bible says in Revelation 22:12-13 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning, and the End, the First and the Last.”
The message of Revelation focuses upon the Lord’s return and judgement to come. Again, the Lord declares: “Behold, I am coming quickly!” His return is speedily coming. It is imminent, right at hand. The thrust is for us to prepare. And note why: when He comes back, it means judgement. He is coming back to judge man. The judgement will be based upon two things:
(i) It will be based upon the works of man, based upon what we have done (Rev. 20:12; 14:14-20).
(ii) It will be based upon the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning, and the end of all things. This means that He is both the Creator and Finisher of the universe. He spans all of time and all of the universe. He began all things, and He finishes all things. Therefore, He will finish earth and the heavens above, judge them all. He will judge all who have acted against Him – judge all who have lived ungodly lives, lived contrary to His godliness.
The Bible says in Psalms 62:12; Jeremiah 17:10; Revelation 20:12; 22:12 “And with you, Lord, is unfailing love”; and “You reward everyone according to what they have done.” … “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.” … “And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.” … “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.”
Our Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 16:27 “For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.”
Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”
Apostle Peter says in 1 Peter 1:17 “And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear.”
(6) The Message Tells us Who will be Accepted by the Lord:
The Bible says in Revelation 22:14 “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city.”
The message of Revelation tells us who will be accepted by the Lord. The best Greek manuscripts say this: “Blessed are those who wash their robes”. The only way a person can ever eat of the tree of life is to wash his robes in the blood of Christ. No person is ever saved by keeping commandments. Believers, of course, do keep the commandments of God; they keep His commandments because they love Christ and want to follow Him. They do not keep the commandments in order to be saved. They believe that Jesus Christ forgives their sins through His death on the cross in order to be saved. Then it is that they begin to serve Him and to keep His commandments.
The point is this: the person who is accepted by God is the person who has washed his robes in the blood of the Lamb. That is the person (a) who has the right to the tree of life; and (b) who enters into the New Jerusalem, the heavenly city of God.
The Bible says in Isaiah 53:6-7; Hebrews 9:12-14; 10:11-13 “All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, everyone, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth.” … “Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” … “And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.”
Apostle Peter says in 1 Peter 1:18-19; 2:24; 3:18 “Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” … “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” … “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit.”
(7) The Message Tells us Who will be Rejected by the Lord:
The Bible says in Revelation 22:15 “But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.”
The message of Revelation tells us who will be rejected by the Lord. There are some people who will not be allowed to enter the heavenly city of God. Who are they?
(a) The dogs of society. In ancient days the wild dog was a symbol of roaming about, of being mean and savage, dirty and immoral. Therefore, those who roam about living mean and savage lives, or dirty and immoral lives will never be allowed to enter God’s heavenly city.
(b)The magicians, the sorcerers, the immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and the liars.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 5:20; Mark 10:15 “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” … “Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; 15:50 “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” … “I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.”
The Bible says in Revelation 21:27 “Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”
(8) The Message is Proclaimed by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself:
The Bible says in Revelation 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”
The message of Revelation is proclaimed by Jesus Christ Himself. This is a forceful statement, and it is emphatically stated so that there can be no mistake about the fact: “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches.” He is the Author of the message of Revelation. But note: He sent His own personal angel to bring the message to earth. How do we know that Jesus Christ actually did this? How do we know that Jesus Christ actually sent the message of Revelation to earth? Because of Whom He is:
=> He is the “Root and Offspring of David”. This means that He is the root of David, the root of life, the One who gives life to man. Therefore, He is the One who gave life to David. But He is also the offspring of David. He is the promised Messiah who was to come from the seed and line of David. He is the promised Saviour and King who was to come and save man and rule over the world - all from the throne of David.
=> He is the “Bright Morning Star”. This means two things. The first star to arise is the brightest star, the brightest of all. Jesus Christ is, therefore, the brightest of all beings in all the universe. He is the very Son of God Himself. Second, this is prophecy of the Messiah: “A star will come out of Jacob” (Numbers 24:17). Jesus Christ is declaring that He is the promised Messiah, the Star among all the stars of man.
This is the reason we know that Jesus Christ is the Author of the Revelation. He is the Son of God, the promised Messiah who gives life and who has the right to judge life. He is the One who knows the future and can warn man and tell man how to prepare for the devastating events of the end time. Being the true Messiah, He is bound to declare the truth to us; He is bound to declare the message of Revelation to us.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said in John 15:15 “No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.”
Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10; Ephesians 1:9-10 “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” … “Having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth—in Him.”
The Bible says in Daniel 2:22; Amos 3:7 “He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.” … “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”
(9) The Message Offers the Greatest Invitation ever Extended to Man:
The Bible says in Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.”
Yes, the message of Revelation offers the greatest invitation ever extended to man in Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.”
The bride is the church, the host of true believers scattered all over the world. Both the church and the Spirit of God cry out “Come”. And note once we hear the invitation and come, we must begin to cry out for others to come.
=> The thirsty need to come: those who are parched, scorched empty, craving, burning, labouring, and sweating – all those who need the refreshment satisfaction, and renewal of the water of life: “Come, come to Jesus Christ, who is the water of life”.
The Bible says in Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.”
The Bible further says in Isaiah 1:18; 55:1 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” … “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; and you who have no money, Come, buy, and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.”
Our Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 11:28; 22:4; Luke 14:17 “Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” … “Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.” ’ … “And sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited, ‘Come, for all things are now ready.’”
(10) The Message MUST NOT be Tampered with:
The Bible says in Revelation 22:18-19 “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
The message of Revelation must not be tampered with. The warning is solemn and emphatic.
=> A person must not add to the words of this book.
=> A person must not take away from the words of this book.
What happens if a person tampers with the Word of God? If he adds to the words, he is going to suffer the plagues covered in the book. If he takes away from the words, God is going to …
=> to take away his share in the tree of life;
=> to take his share out of the holy city, the Heavenly Jerusalem;
=> to take his share out of all the glorious promises of this book of Revelation.
Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 “And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”
Apostle Paul further says in 1 Thessalonians 2:2-5; 13 “But even after we had suffered before and were spitefully treated at Philippi, as you know, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God in much conflict. For our exhortation did not come from error or uncleanness, nor was it in deceit. But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts. For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor a cloak for covetousness—God is witness.” … “For this reason, we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.”
(11) The Message Closed with the Greatest of All Assurances:
The Bible says in Revelation 22:20-21 “He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
The message of Revelation closes with the greatest of all assurances. The assurance is twofold:
=> Jesus Christ is the One who reveals and testifies to the things written in Revelation. They are not the imaginations and words of men. They are the Word of the living Lord, the Son of God Himself.
=> Jesus Christ declares: “Yes – it is true. I am coming soon”.
This is the unequivocal assurance of the Lord Jesus Himself. The human heart should shout out: “Amen! So be it! Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”
Apostle Paul says in Philippians 4:5 “Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.”
Apostle James says in James 5:8 “You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.”
The Bible says in Revelation 22:21; 3:11; 22:20 “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” … “Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.” … “He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”
Let us introspect ourselves.
Shall we thank our God for giving us the great message of Revelation?
Shall we than our God for His promise that the message of Revelation will bring a blessing to the person who studies and obeys the prophecies of the book?
Shall we thank our God for stirring us up to worship the only true God by giving us this great message of Revelation?
Shall we thank our God for revealing the fact that the message of Revelation should never be sealed but to be read, studied, preached, and taught always because the time for the events to fall upon the earth are very near and the time is coming when it will be too late to prepare ourselves?
Shall we thank our God for sending His beloved Son Jesus Christ to judge man based upon the works of man and the person of Jesus Christ?
Shall we thank our God for making it very clear that the only way a person can ever eat of the tree of life and enter into the New Jerusalem, the heavenly city of God, is to wash his robes in the blood of Jesus Christ?
Shall we thank our God for making it very clear that who will be rejected by the Lord and will not be allowed to enter the heavenly city of God?
Shall we thank our God for His greatest invitation ever extended to men who are thirsty to come and take the water of life freely?
Shall we thank our God for His warning that no one should neither add any Word nor take away any Word from this book of Revelation?
Shall we thank our God for giving us greatest of all assurances that His beloved Son Jesus Christ is surely coming so that we also be patient, be prepared and establish our hearts for the coming of the Lord?
Shall we submit ourselves to our God for helping us to TURN TO HIS BELOVED SON JESUS CHRIST FOR SALVATION BEFORE THE END COMES?
Let us Pray: Our Heavenly Gracious Father, we thank You for helping us to understand about “The Great Message of Revelation: Eleven Stirring Facts”, today, Father. We thank You Father for giving us the great message of Revelation and Your promise that the message of Revelation will bring a blessing to the person who studies and obeys the prophecies of the book, Father. We thank You Father for stirring us up to worship only You Father and for revealing the fact that the message of Revelation should never be sealed but to be read, studied, preached, and taught always because the time for the events to fall upon the earth are very near and the time is coming when it will be too late to prepare ourselves, Father. We thank You Father, for sending Your beloved Son Jesus Christ to judge us based upon our works and the person of Your Son Jesus Christ, Father. We thank You Father for making it very clear that the only way a person can ever eat of the tree of life and enter into the New Jerusalem, the heavenly city of God, is to wash his robes in the blood of Your beloved Son Jesus Christ besides revealing the fact that who will be rejected and will not be allowed to enter Your heavenly city, Father. We give all praise, glory, and honour to Your Holy Name. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
God bless you all.

Russia and China pledge more cooperation as they look to prepare a Eurasian military opposition to the West
COGwriter
Deutsche Welle reported the following:
China and Russia agree to boost ties in opposition to West
9 April 2024
China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Tuesday that Beijing would “strengthen strategic cooperation” with Moscow during a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov.
In comments reported by the RIA Novosti news agency, Wang said Beijing and Moscow would “provide each other with strong support.”
The meeting took place during a two-day visit by Lavrov to China. The two powers have improved their diplomatic ties since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, declaring a “no limits” partnership.
The West is “implementing unlawful sanctions toward a number of states, Russia is among them of course. This policy is starting to be actively applied toward [China] as well,” Lavrov said, referencing efforts by the US to restrict China’s access to key US-made technologies.
Plan to launch Eurasian security ‘dialogue’
Russia and China agreed to strengthen security cooperation across Eurasia to counter US and Western influence. Lavrov said such a move had been put forward by Russian President Vladimir Putin, and that the two countries had agreed to “start a dialogue with the involvement of our other like-minded people on this issue.”
“For a long time, there was a Euro-Atlantic security structure in the form of NATO, of course, as well as the OSCE, but it is striking itself out from the list of relevant structures within which it is possible to conduct meaningful negotiations and agree on something based on a balance of interests,” Lavrov said.
Moscow and Beijing are planning on launching a “dialogue” on Eurasian security issues, but no further details were given. https://www.dw.com/en/china-and-russia-agree-to-boost-ties-in-opposition-to-west/a-68773085
A Russian-promoted, Eurasian security dialogue would help set the stage for various biblical prophecies to be fulfilled which involve a Russian-led force invading the end time European daughter of Babylon.
Furthermore, as I have long written, the biblical reality is that Russia and China will work together militarily (e.g. Revelation 16:12-16).
Here is something from by free online book, Lost Tribes and Prophecies: What will happen to Australia, the British Isles, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and the United States of America?, discussing the three woes along with Russia and China:
In the last verse of Revelation 8 (verse 13) the word woe is repeated three times and is later connected to three angels and three trumpet blasts which correspond to the blowing of the 5th, 6th, and 7th trumpets.
The first woe (5th trumpet) is described in Revelation 9:1-11. It involves a demonically-led force which causes torment (perhaps involving a plague of germ or chemical warfare) for those not having the seal of God (Revelation 9:4)—thus those of the 144,000 who were sealed in Revelation 7:4 are not tormented by this.
This woe looks to involve at least some of the European King of the North’s military and is consistent with something from Daniel:
44 But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. (Daniel 11:44)
Looking at this verse, what could be north and east of the European Beast power?
Russia, for one, which is both in Europe and Asia. Daniel suggests that it, and some of its allies, will face some of the fury of the King of the North as part of the first woe.
Despite some erroneous claims, Russia, itself, is NOT the prophesied “King of the North,” but it is prophetically pointed to as the power of “the far north” (cf. Ezekiel 38:6, 39:1-2).
Going on from the first woe comes the second woe:
12 One woe is past. Behold, still two more woes are coming after these things.
13 Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. 16 Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. 17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. 18 By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed — by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. 19 For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.
20 But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. 21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts. (Revelation 9:12-21)
Such a massively large army was not possible to be put together when Jesus had John pen the Book of Revelation in the 1st century. In the 21st century, however, it is possible, and that army would be expected to include Chinese, Indian, Russian, and other Asian peoples.
The European Beast empire will not last, but will fear what is coming.
Notice also the following from the Hebrew scriptures:
2 … A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations.
3 A fire devours before them, And behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, And behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them. 4 Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; And like swift steeds, so they run. 5 With a noise like chariots Over mountaintops they leap, Like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble, Like a strong people set in battle array.
6 Before them the people writhe in pain; All faces are drained of color. (Joel 2:2-6)
During the second woe, the 200,000,000 man army looks to tie in with Joel 2:2 which discusses some of that army’s expected actions.
Before going further, understand that current projects like China’s Belt and Road Initiative and Europe’s Global Gateway are looking to connect Asia, Europe, and the Middle East in ways that look to be building infrastructure that a 200 million man army would use in order to get to Europe and the Middle East.
Peoples prophetically called Medes are also shown to destroy the final Babylon according to both Isaiah and Jeremiah:
1 The burden against Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw…
17 “Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, Who will not regard silver; And as for gold, they will not delight in it. 18 Also their bows will dash the young men to pieces, And they will have no pity on the fruit of the womb; Their eye will not spare children. 19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, The beauty of the Chaldeans’ pride, Will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. (Isaiah 13:1, 17-19)
11 Make the arrows bright! Gather the shields! The Lord has raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes. For His plan is against Babylon to destroy it, Because it is the vengeance of the Lord, The vengeance for His temple. (Jeremiah 51:11)
The fact that there are multiple kings of the Medes indicates that powers involved in this end time confederation represent multiple governments. This would seem to include Russia, Belarus, and likely Crimea, Donbas, and some others in Ukraine, some in Moldova, perhaps some from the nation of Georgia, and some in Iran, etc.
Anciently, “Darius the Mede” (Daniel 5:31) conquered old Babylon—modern “Medes” will help do the same to the end-time daughter of Babylon.
The following passages seem also to apply:
8 “Move from the midst of Babylon, Go out of the land of the Chaldeans; And be like the rams before the flocks. 9 For behold, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon An assembly of great nations from the north country, And they shall array themselves against her; From there she shall be captured. Their arrows shall be like those of an expert warrior; None shall return in vain. (Jeremiah 50:8-9)
Those who believe the Bible should leave the midst of end-time Babylon by then. Certainly, the above “north country” includes Russia, but other passages clearly point to others from Asia being involved (Jeremiah 51:27-29).
Notice some of what will happen to the coming European Babylonian Beast power led by a power from the farthest parts of the earth (Russia is the nation that is the farthest east and close to being the farthest north nation):
22 Thus says the Lord: “Behold, a people comes from the north country, And a great nation will be raised from the farthest parts of the earth.
23 They will lay hold on bow and spear; They are cruel and have no mercy; Their voice roars like the sea; And they ride on horses, As men of war set in array against you, O daughter of Zion.”
24 We have heard the report of it; Our hands grow feeble. Anguish has taken hold of us, Pain as of a woman in labor. 25 Do not go out into the field, Nor walk by the way. Because of the sword of the enemy, Fear is on every side. 26 O daughter of my people, Dress in sackcloth And roll about in ashes! Make mourning as for an only son, most bitter lamentation; For the plunderer will suddenly come upon us. (Jeremiah 6:22-26)
41 “Behold, a people shall come from the north, And a great nation and many kings Shall be raised up from the ends of the earth. 42 They shall hold the bow and the lance; They are cruel and shall not show mercy. Their voice shall roar like the sea; They shall ride on horses, Set in array, like a man for the battle, Against you, O daughter of Babylon.
43 “The king of Babylon has heard the report about them, And his hands grow feeble; Anguish has taken hold of him, Pangs as of a woman in childbirth. (Jeremiah 50:41-43)
The “great nation” from the “farthest parts of the earth” includes Russia. There are also nations that will be confederate with it. Those would also include China and other nations in Asia, and particularly in the Far East. The “Daughter of Babylon” Jeremiah referred to is not ancient Babylon, but the end-time European power. The “kings … from the ends of the earth” seem to include South Africa and India, which are BRICS nations which have also conducted military drills with Russia and China.[i] Some nations in South America may also be involved as they seem to be part of the “ends of the earth.” Consider that Brazil and Russia already have a variety of military agreements.[ii] When the “daughter of Babylon” is in the process of falling, many will abandon supporting it. Jeremiah 50 is part of the second woe.[iii]
The second woe, according to scripture, ends 3 ½ days after the two witnesses are killed per Revelation 11:7-14. That is quickly followed by the third woe and the blowing of the 7th trumpet (Revelation 11:14-15).
Jesus returns with this trumpet (1 Thessalonians 4:16) which is also the last trumpet when Christians rise up (cf. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52). While that is comforting for Christians (1 Thessalonians 4:18), this angers the nations (Revelation 11:15-18).
So, the nations that gathered in Armageddon to fight the forces of the Beast, despite issues between them, will unite to fight Jesus, Himself! This is also described in Zechariah 14 and Joel 3.
The third woe releases the seven last plagues (Revelation 15:1), with victorious Christians then pictured on the sea of glass (Revelation 15:2).
During the third woe, when God sends corrective punishments, because the non-Christians refused to repent:
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory. (Revelation 16:9)
Notice something else that happens during this third woe:
12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”
16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. (Revelation 16:12-16)
Forces from Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean would be expected to gather related to ‘Armageddon’ as “the whole world” (Revelation 16:13-16) will be involved.

Russia and China are also part of the BRICS alliance. Related to the woes, we also put out the following video:

BRICS and the Woes of Revelation
The BRICS nations consist of Brazil, Russia, China, India, and South Africa. In February of 2023, Russia, China, and South Africa held joint naval drills. In the Fall of 2022, India, Russia, and China held joint military exercises. Brazil also has a military cooperation agreement with Russia. The Book of Revelation uses the term woe three times in chapter 8 verse 13–those woes are then discussed in later chapters. Could the BRICS nations, along with the coming Babylonian European Beast power be involved in all three of the woes? Do the BRICS nations want to push aside the USA dollar? Is one of the woes tied to the rise of a 200,000,000 man army? Is there any connection to the second woe and the two witnesses? Do the woes correspond with the last of the seven trumpets in the Book of Revelation? Is one of the woes tied to Armageddon? Does Jesus return with the seventh trumpet? Will nations not be pleased when Jesus returns? Dr. Thiel and Steve Dupuie go over these matters.

Anyway, yes, Russia, China, and others in Asia will work closer together, militarily.
Steps for that keep occurring and YOU can rely on properly interpreted biblical prophecies as they are coming to pass.

Plagues in the Bible Lesson 05: The Seven Last Plagues
The book of Revelation is an intimidating book for many Christians. It tells of fantastic creatures, the mark of the beast, and seven fearsome plagues. However, what if these plagues were not something to be feared? What if they actually revealed God’s love and concern for us? Let’s find out more in today’s final lesson on plagues.
Let’s read together Revelation chapters 13-16.
There is a lot to take in these four chapters. Let’s start with a brief overview. God sends a final warning to the world to worship Him only. There will only be two choices during the end times. You will either choose to follow Jesus or to follow Satan. Those who do not choose Jesus will receive the mark of the beast. The seven last plagues will then be poured out upon the world.
Let’s read together Exodus 8:22; Matthew 24:22; and 1 Corinthians 10:11.
Note Revelation 15:2-3 declares God’s people have victory over the beast and sing the song of Moses. What is the song of Moses? It was the song of victory the people of Israel sang after going through the seven last plagues and obtaining victory over Egypt through the power of God(Exodus 15:1-21).
Also note Revelation 15:8 plainly states no one was able to enter the temple of God until after the seven last plagues were poured out. There will be no secret rapture before the great tribulation. God’s people will go through the seven last plagues just as the people of Israel experienced the ten plagues of Egypt. Just as the seven last plagues of Egypt did not fall on the people of Israel, the seven last plagues of Revelation will not fall on God’s people.
Let’s read together Revelation 16:1-2; Psalm 46:1-2; and Romans 12:1.
In Revelation 13:7, people who refuse to receive the mark of the beast will face persecution, torture, and even death. Many people will accept the mark of the beast to escape such a fate. They will choose physical safety over loyalty to God.
During the first plague, people who have the mark of the beast will be afflicted with loathsome sores on their bodies. They will find out the hard way that accepting the mark of the beast did not give them the physical safety that was promised to them.
What is the message of the first plague? All physical security is in Jesus Christ. He can deliver what the beast power cannot.
Let’s read together Revelation 16:3; Isaiah 33:16.
People who refuse to accept the mark of the beast will be threatened with economic sanctions. They will not be able to buy or sell. They will face the distinct possibility of not being able to buy food, clothing, and other necessities of life for their families. Many people will choose to receive the mark of the beast in order to have economic security.
In the second plague, the oceans will turn to blood. What will be the most immediate impact? Commerce across the world will stop as ships will be unable to transport their goods.
What is the message of the second plague? All economic security is in Jesus Christ. Just as God sent ravens to care for Elijah during the famine in Israel, God will take care of His people and provide for them in the last days.
Let’s read together Revelation 16:4-7 and Psalm 41:1-2.
People who refuse to receive the mark of the beast will ultimately receive a death decree. Many people will choose to receive the mark of the beast in order to preserve their lives.
The third plague includes the rivers and springs of water turning to blood. This plague is a reminder of the blood shed by the beast power.
What is the message of the third plague? Our very lives are in Jesus Christ. God will not let His people be killed during this time because it would serve no purpose. Everyone will have already made their choice to follow either Jesus or Satan.
Let’s read together Revelation 16:8-9; Daniel 3:4-7; and Daniel 7:25.
People who refuse to receive the mark of the beast will be persecuted for worshiping on the Sabbath. Many people will choose to receive the mark of the beast and worship on Sunday, enforced by law.
There is nowhere in the Bible that shows Jesus, His disciples, or Paul the Apostle changing the day of worship from Sabbath to Sunday. It was pagans who originally worshiped on Sunday to honor the sun. The day of Christian worship was changed from Sabbath to Sunday under the reign of Constantine of the Roman empire in the 4th century AD.
During the fourth plague, the sun will scorch people with great heat. God is letting the world know that Sunday is a false day of worship.
(Note no one has the mark of the beast right now. There are many earnest Christians today who worship on Sunday. In the end times, they will heed the angels' call in Revelation 18:4 to leave spiritual Babylon. See the lesson on the mark of the beast for more information.)
What is the message of the fourth plague? All true worship is in Jesus Christ. Jesus instituted the Sabbath at creation (Genesis 2:1-3). God’s people will continue worshiping Him on the Sabbath after the earth is made anew (Isaiah 66:22-23).
Let’s read together Revelation 16:10-11; Psalm 119:105; Matthew 6:22-23; and John 8:12.
People who receive the mark of the beast are following a false light. They accept the falsehoods and spurious claims by the beast power, as truth.
In the fifth plague, the kingdom of the beast will be plunged into darkness. God is literally showing the world there is no light or truth in the beast power.
What is the message of the fifth plague? All light and truth are in Jesus Christ. All other paths lead to darkness.
Let’s read together Revelation 16:12-16; 17:15; 19:11-16; and Matthew 24:27-31.
Many people choose to receive the mark of the beast because they believe the beast power will unite the world in peace. They will choose unity and peace over loyalty and faithfulness to Jesus.
During the sixth plague, the River Euphrates dries up. What does this mean?
There is a lot going on in Revelation 16:12-16. It is best understood on a symbolic level. The drying of the River Euphrates symbolizes people’s support drying up for the beast’s power. The kings of the east symbolize the second coming of Jesus. Note in Revelation 16:15 after the sixth plague is poured out, Jesus Himself says He is coming.
Satan tries one last deception as the seven last plagues are being poured out. He will work false miracles in an attempt to unite the world to destroy God’s people.
What is the message of the sixth plague? God’s people need to hold fast onto their faith in Jesus Christ. He is coming very soon!
Let’s read together Revelation 16:17-20; Isaiah 11:4; and 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.
People who receive the mark of the beast believe life will continue normally. However, they have completely rejected all of God’s warnings to not receive the mark of the beast. They have rejected the words of the Bible for the traditions of men. They have rejected God’s messengers’ calls to leave spiritual Babylon. In essence, they have completely rejected Jesus and the salvation He offers.
In the seventh plague, God announces, “It is done!” A great earthquake shakes the earth and great hailstones fall from heaven. The earth will be irrevocably changed by this event.
What is the message of the seventh plague? Jesus has finally come for His people! The wicked will be slain. The righteous dead will be resurrected and taken up into the air to meet Jesus. The righteous living will then be taken into the air also to meet Jesus. He will take them all back to heaven with Him.
Let's read tougher Psalms 34:19 and 91:1-10.
If you choose to follow Jesus, there is nothing to fear, whether from the seven last plagues, the beast power, or Satan.
Friend, will you choose to follow Jesus wholeheartedly and trust He will be with you until the very end?

The Great Invitation
11 “He who does wrong, let him do more wrong; he who is filthy, let him be more filthy; he who is righteous, let him be more righteous; he who is set-apart, let him be more set-apart.
12 “And see, I am coming speedily, and My reward is with Me, to give to each according to his work.a
13 “I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.
14 “Blessed are thosea doing His commands,b so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the city.
15 “But outside are the dogs and those who enchant with drugs, and those who whore, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and all who love and do falsehood.a
16 “I, יהושע, have sent My messenger to witness to you these matters in the assemblies. I am the Root and the Offspring of Dawiḏ,a the Bright and Morning Star.”
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And he who hears, let him say, “Come!” And he who thirsts, come! And he who desires it, take the water of life without paying!
18 For I witness to everyone hearing the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to them, Elohim shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book,
19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, Elohim shall take away his part from the Book of Life, and out of the set-apart city, which are written in this Book.
20 He that bears witness of these matters says, “Yes, I am coming speedily.” Amĕn. Yes, come, Master יהושע!
21 The favour of our Master יהושע Messiah be with the set-apart ones. Amĕn. — Revelation 22:11-21 | The Scriptures (ISR 1998) The Scriptures 1998 Copyright © 1998 Institute for Scripture Research. Who's Winning The War?
Psalm 92: 5 - 7 O Lord, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep. A senseless man does not know, Nor does a fool understand this. When the wicked spring up like grass, And when all the workers of iniquity flourish, It is that they may be destroyed forever.
It’s a bit overwhelming right now, isn’t it? It’s hard to believe we are being forced to deal with questions that are so self-evident to any reasonable-thinking person we wonder why on earth anyone would want to ask them in the first place, let alone discuss them. What is a woman? How many genders are there? What pronouns should we use? Is marriage just between a man and a woman? Can I stop my teenage (and younger) children mutilating their bodies through so-called gender-altering surgery? Can I express my sincerely-held opinions without fear of losing my job, my status and my freedom? Who’s in charge of all this anyway and who voted them in?
Turning on the news these days is a sure-fire recipe for clinical depression. According to the media, we are so far along the pathway to destruction we have passed the point of no-return and it is too late to turn back. If the environment doesn’t kill us the next plague will, if the plague doesn’t kill us the weapons of mass destruction will and if the printing presses don’t stop printing money the economy will and we are all going to die through one or more of starvation, fear, war, global warming and a host of other equally disastrous circumstances. It’s all just a matter of when, not if. No wonder so many are terrified and depressed! There is a cure for this depression but perhaps you have already found your own—you don’t listen to the news anymore! If that is your stand you are holding on to that good old standby, “no news is good news” otherwise known as the “head-in-the-sand” approach. It might relieve your symptoms for a while but it won’t cure the problem of how to survive the next decade (if there is one!)? When it comes to being aware of what’s going on, ignorance is not bliss and the proof for that is found in the many examples in the bible of the “sudden destruction” that fell on people who chose to live in their ignorance. If you want to check me out, start with Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis and move on through Noah and the children of Israel who made it out of Egypt into the desert but never made it out of the desert into the promised land. Then, follow on through the rest of the books ‘til you reach the last one, Revelation. There’s a hefty price to pay for ignorance.
Heed the Warnings
Paul’s warning to all believers in these last days is “when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction (will) come upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.” (1 Thessalonians 5:3) and he also tells us in Ephesians 5:15 “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise..because the days are evil”. That word “circumspectly” means “looking around to discern what is really going on”. Now, no one wants to spend time listening to news media who are doing all they can to hide the blatant corruption, the lying, the hidden agendas and the subterfuge that is going on all around us while they hype up every fear that is gripping us but the corruption has now reached a level that simply cannot be ignored. The fear and frustration produced by this is slowly being replaced with anger, which is a good thing for believers because it drives us to the only solution we have available which is PRAYER, prayer and more prayer, but anger can be a very bad thing among unbelievers who may well go the way of violent protest, mayhem and destruction. What do you think the outcome will be if Donald Trump is indeed found guilty of the multitude of charges against him and is sentenced to jail just as the battle for the next president begins? Will his multiple millions of supporters simply walk away or do something else? How long will Russia and China stand by and watch the western nations destroy themselves with their environmentalism, woke-ism and every other “-ism”—designed only to bring more and more fear into our lives—before they decide we are now too diminished to defend ourselves? Will President Biden and his extended family walk off with their millions of dollars gained through influence-peddling and bribery and will that happen before or after the next world war that is lying at the door? These are very scary questions but they are very much in line with the bible’s description of how it will be before Jesus returns to set up His Kingdom here on earth? What must we do?
It’s OK to Be Angry
It’s OK for Christians to get angry—”Be angry and do not sin” (Ephesians 4:26) the bible tells us. Of itself, anger, like love and hate is neither good nor bad. It all depends on the object of the anger or the love or the hate that determines their benefit. It is good to love righteousness but bad to love sin. It is good to be angry at injustice but bad to be angry with the policeman who ticketed you for speeding. It is good to hate sin but love sinners. Nevertheless, as believers we must guard against anger’s powerful tendency to lead us into sin by deciding to take matters into our own hands and not seek God’s plan and purpose in these situations. The only thing that can halt the moral collapse we are all witnessing in our neighborhoods, our country and the world beyond is a sovereign move of the Holy Spirit to REVIVE the sleeping Church whose mandate from Heaven has always been to spread the Gospel in all its fulness by preaching, teaching, evangelizing, healing and delivering and that’s where our struggle really lies. It’s OK to get angry at these things but our anger must goad us into action but watch out, whatever action we take must be prompted by the Holy Spirit, not our self-righteousness. 1 Corinthians 4:20 says, “For the kingdom of God is not in talk but in power”. We can talk about God all we like but unless we can demonstrate His power, we really have nothing to say! Even the briefest review of revival history shows revivals all begin with a small group of believers, who could no longer stand the decay they saw in themselves and their fellow believers, fell on their knees and started to cry out to God to come and rescue them and their neighborhoods. God’s answer to their prayers was to send the Holy Spirit to light a fire among them like He did on the day of Pentecost and that’s what this end-times generation desperately needs. They were long past the days of simply complaining about how bad things were and talking among themselves about how worse it might get. They had written to their MP’s, voted for the best candidates, attended public meetings, protested about the latest government actions and inactions but none of it was turning the ship of state around in a new, godly direction Their only qualification was an awareness of the dreadful back-slidden state of the local church and its impotence (lack of power) against the deluge of sin consuming the unbelievers around them. We can wonder all we like about how otherwise reasonable people can be so blind to the blatant corruption around them and we can wring our hands in fear of the outcome but all of it is designed to do one thing: bring us to our knees!
God’s Plan
Psalm 92:4 tells us how God plans to let us share in the victory of this war of the ages, “For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands.” Victory for us lies in us doing the works of His hands, not our own works and He reveals what may not have occurred to our foolish, senseless minds that the only reason the wicked schemers of this world are flourishing so successfully these days is so “that they may be destroyed forever”. The last book of the bible tells us who wins this war. This theme of why the wicked prosper further unfolds in the Psalms that follow:
Psalm 94: 3 - 15
3 Lord, how long will the wicked, How long will the wicked triumph? 4 They utter speech, and speak insolent things; All the workers of iniquity boast in themselves. 5 They break in pieces Your people, O Lord, And afflict Your heritage. 6 They slay the widow and the stranger, And murder the fatherless. 7 Yet they say, “The Lord does not see, Nor does the God of Jacob understand.” 8 Understand, you senseless among the people; And you fools, when will you be wise? 9 He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see? 10 He who instructs the nations, shall He not correct, He who teaches man knowledge? 11 The Lord knows the thoughts of man, That they are futile. 12 Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, And teach out of Your law, 13 That You may give him rest from the days of adversity, Until the pit is dug for the wicked. 14 For the Lord will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance. 15 But judgment will return to righteousness, And all the upright in heart will follow it.
What will win in our own minds? Will it be fear or faith? For the Christian, this world may becoming a scary place for all that we hold dear—our families and friends, our jobs and careers, our hopes for the future but that remains true only until we place our trust in the One who “gives us rest from the days of adversity” (verse 13) and from whom we receive instruction. In verse 16, God asks us two questions:
Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
And the Psalmist gives his answers (Verses 17 - 19):
Unless the Lord had been my help, My soul would soon have settled in silence. If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.
For all of us who may be suffering from a “multitude of anxieties” about the changes taking place all around us and are struggling with a sense of hopelessness about the inevitable disasters that lie ahead of us, remember that “God is still on His throne and He will remember His own” as the old song says. Someone once said, “When you are depressed and discouraged about life’s circumstances, look DOWN because you are seated in heavenly places with Him from where you can see the grand picture of God’s plan for the world”. That’s good advice for all of us and will put a smile, not a frown on our faces as we take on the challenge of reaching others with the good news of the Gospel.
