Four Arm Cortex-A55 cores, which are energy-efficient, complement these and guarantee dependable performance for daily use. In comparison to the Dimensity 7050, this combination represents a major advancement.
The advanced 4nm manufacturing process is a feature of the 7300 series. This corresponds to a 25% decrease in power usage over the 6nm technique utilised in earlier generations. Users will benefit from longer battery life as a result, while manufacturers can create sleeker devices without compromising functionality.
Superpower in Graphics
Immersive mobile experiences require strong visuals. The Dimensity 7300 has an Arm Mali-G615 GPU to fix this. This graphics processor runs even the most demanding games smoothly, and MediaTek’s HyperEngine technology stabilises the network and efficiently manages resources. MediaTek says the 7300 series is appealing to mobile gamers due to its 20% higher frame rates (FPS) and energy economy.
AI Gains Strength
AI is increasingly changing the smartphone experience, enabling intelligent assistants, better photography, and facial recognition. The Dimensity 7300 uses the MediaTek APU 655, following this trend. This AI processing unit doubles the efficiency of the Dimensity 7050, resulting in a notable performance boost. New mixed precision data types, which enable more effective memory bandwidth utilisation and lower memory requirements for larger AI models, are also supported by the 7300 series. Future smartphones will be able to incorporate even more advanced AI features thanks to this.
Gorgeous Images
For a fascinating mobile experience, a stunning display is essential; a strong processor is only half the story. This demand is met by the Dimensity 7300 series, which supports powerful screens. With the ability to support WFHD+ resolutions at frame rates of up to 120 Hz, these chipsets guarantee fluid and visually spectacular images. For an even smoother user experience, the 7300 series also supports Full HD+ screens at an even higher refresh rate of 144Hz.
Concentrate on Take Pictures
Users now place a greater value on mobile photography, and the Dimensity 7300 series delivers. The chip has MediaTek’s Imagiq 950 image signal processor (ISP), which provides sophisticated photographic features. With the 12-bit HDR pipeline supported by this ISP, detailed information and brilliant colours may be captured. Furthermore, the Imagiq 950 enables features like video HDR, face detection, and precise noise reduction, guaranteeing beautiful images and movies in a range of lighting scenarios. The 7300 series stands out for its ability to enable dual simultaneous video capture, which allows for the development of more imaginative content.
A Set of Chips for Foldables
A 7300 variation called the Dimensity 7300X goes one step farther by being designed with foldable cellphones in mind. Bread recipe 🥺🔪
Sourdough bread recipe I use (makes one loaf)
ingredience:
240mL/1 cup of sourdough starter (how-to will be in a reblog after this)
125mL/½ cup of milk
28g/2 Tbsp. of butter
25g/2 Tbsp. of granulated sugar
6g/1 tsp. of salt
6g/1 tsp. of baking soda/sodium bicarbonate
as much flour is needed (I usually need 3-4 cups/360-480g)
5g/1½ tsp. of yeast (optional but it significantly speeds up the rising)
recipé:
dissolve baking soda and yeast (if used) in a small amount of warm water (warm to the touch but not so hot that it hurts. yeast will be killed by water that is too hot but if it's not hot enough they won't come out of hibernation)
scald the milk (small bubbles around the edge)
remove milk from heat and stir in sugar, butter, and salt
add sourdough starter to milk mixture
mix both liquid mixtures in a large bowl
add flour and any other additions (like herbs or cheese. I don't have any amounts for those, I just eyeball it since I've done enough baking)
knead thoroughly (heavily flour your workplace and hands, this is a very sticky dough)
let rise until doubled (with yeast this will take around an hour in an oven that is set to "proof". I usually wash the bowl that things were mixed in and then oil it before putting the dough back in to rise, and I cover it with a damp towel. not sure if the towel does anything but I've always done it that way)
once the dough has doubled in size, punch it down and shape into a loaf. place in a greased loaf pan or greased pan of other shape
let rise again for maybe half an hour (with yeast) (I've never measured how long I let it rise the second time, and I don't have a size comparison either)
score the top of your loaf (optional but it may crack if not scored)
bake at 400°F/205°C for about 30 minutes, depending on how deep your loaf is (if it's thinner, bake for a shorter amount of time)
let cool for a few minutes before taking your bread out of its pan, then let it cool the rest of the way on a wire cooling rack so the bottom doesn't get soggy
eat your bread! and troubleshoot for the next batch. was it baked for too long? not long enough? I can also answer bread troubleshooting questions if given a picture of the bread in question :)

For most of the past 15 years, my interactions with young Chinese in their late teens and 20s have obeyed a familiar pattern. Having grown up in an age when their country seemed impervious to major economic setbacks, they easily shrugged off each new wave of Western assessments that China’s political and economic model—like all models—faced serious vulnerabilities.
They had heard and rejected the idea that China’s political system was inherently inferior to Western-style democracy. The evidence to the contrary seemed largely sufficient to their eyes as the United States and other high-income countries fell victim to the 2008-09 global financial crisis while China sailed forward almost placidly by comparison. The “democracy is superior” argument took another big hit in their minds during the Trump administration, when U.S. politics was dominated by one poorly informed but powerful man’s impulsiveness. Wasn’t that supposed to be a key flaw of dictatorships?
They had dismissed the widespread notion that China’s relatively closed authoritarian system would prevent the country from innovating fast enough. Yes, it was true that China had blocked most of the trailblazing U.S. companies of the early internet age, including Google, Facebook, Twitter, and many others. But hadn’t China come up with its own terrific domestic alternatives? Look at WeChat, young Chinese began telling me from the moment of that homegrown app’s birth. On “our” platform, they observed, one can seamlessly do everything that it takes a whole host of U.S. apps to accomplish. Has anyone in the West created something so brilliantly capable?
And if one thinks this is a matter of ancient history, which is what the early app era is when talking about the history of the internet, what about electrical vehicles and the batteries that make them run? China has gotten so good so fast at developing sleek, well-functioning, and competitively priced cars in this space that it even has the Germans trembling, as seen at this week’s industry show in what is probably the West’s premium car-producing country. Or look at the U.S. attempt to stifle Huawei, China’s biggest cellphone-maker. Although prevented from using U.S. technology for 5G components, China has, using homegrown technology, just rolled out a high-end smartphone model that is capable of 5G-like data connectivity speeds and which throws in satellite connection capability as a bonus.
Young Chinese have also heard that the country’s poor environment would bottleneck their growth or drive an uprising by the middle class. Not so long ago, the air in big cities such as Beijing and Shanghai was frightfully polluted, drawing justified comparisons to the London of Charles Dickens. If one had to endure this much pollution in order to sustain further decades of fast economic growth, didn’t that call into question more than just the seeming disregard of the country’s leaders for the people’s well-being? What, in other words, is the purpose of growth if one’s child can’t play outside because it’s dangerous to breathe?
Well, something remarkable happened here, too. While traveling in China for much of the past summer, I discovered the air in many of the country’s biggest cities to be so vastly improved that a newcomer would have a hard time imagining the recent long era of “airpocalypses,” as the immovable domes of impenetrable smog encasing urban environments were called.
Though I have never believed that China had somehow repealed basic economic laws, which suggest that every great boom era must come to an end, I have always found a lot to admire in the great many young Chinese I have gotten to know over the last 15 years or so. Substantial numbers among them have been students in my own classes in the United States and elsewhere. And one of the qualities that has consistently struck me most among them is what I like to call civilizational confidence.
It is true that the Chinese state, through tightly controlled education and unstinting propaganda, works hard to instill this attitude, but there is something more at play here than just top-down manipulation. I suspect part of it comes from being part of such a large country with great historic depth and many, many cultural and scientific achievements to its name. Part of it, too, seems to be about resilience. Even if not during their lifetimes, young Chinese know that their country has been down before but has always sprung back impressively. All of this has bred self-belief.
But all of this also makes the impressions I received during my recent weeks of travel in China feel even more remarkable. What I heard over many conversations with young people was not a response to the perennial cycles of doomcasting about China that one finds in the Western press and in much publishing about the country. In fact, most of these people were not terribly well-informed about the current state of Western discourse about their country at all. What they were, however, was filled with their own doubts about the future, which they readily vented.
Some of the contours of this were unsurprising. After all, this was the summer that Beijing decided to suppress the publication of youth unemployment data, presumably because of how grim the numbers have become—in June, youth unemployment hit a record 21.3 percent. In conversation after conversation, my young interlocutors spoke with deep trepidation about their economic prospects in the near and even longer term.
It wasn’t the topic itself that surprised me so much as the swiftness and power of the shift in sentiment. At almost all times during this century, it has been an article of faith in the country that education, and especially higher education, would be rewarded with sharply rising incomes, secure entry into the middle class or better, and a version of the sentiment common in the United States during the boom decades that followed World War II: that it was the birthright of each new generation to be much better off than the one that preceded it.
If the problem of youth unemployment in a China whose economy may be set for long-term deceleration has been widely commented on, some of the profound problems that stem from this generally have not. A graphic representation of the number of new college graduates in the country over the last four-plus decades looks like the upward curve of a roller coaster track. Here we find the kind of problem that is an unintended consequence of what has always seemed like a very sensible proposition: Educating people equates to creating new waves of prosperity. In its current funk, though—and perhaps on a longer-term basis, due to deep contradictions in the country’s economic model—China can no longer find enough gainful employment for its huge numbers of newly educated people.
If you’re between the ages of, say, 17 and 28 or so—which was the case for almost everyone I spoke with—this is deeply discouraging and even scary, as so many people didn’t hesitate to tell me. “We are competing with each other in what has become a pure rat race,” a college freshman, whose name I am withholding for their security, told me in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province. “Everybody is trying to push their education as far as they can, but we are competing for fewer and fewer jobs. As a result of supply and demand, lots of people are going to earn less, and lots of others will just have to accept low-grade jobs.”
But this was only the beginning of the new pessimism I was encountering.
For years when I taught in my graduate school classrooms in New York about the coming aging crunch in China—a time projected for the near future when the ratio of older adults to the young and working-age populations would rapidly flip in favor of the former—I drew a knowing look from many of my Chinese students. After all, it is a problem I have been writing about for many years already. “Here we go again,” the stares I received from some of my Chinese students seemed to say. “Professor French has given in to the doomsaying industry about our country, but we know better.”
This summer, though, I didn’t have to ask about aging. It was on everybody’s lips, not least the young people. I suspect that’s in part because the state quite belatedly has itself become alarmed. The Chinese government avoids shocking language about the stark nature of a demographic crisis of unprecedented scale, but the ability to read between the lines of official messaging to see the underlying urgency of this challenge is almost child’s play, especially for the dwindling numbers of young adults in the country who only recently were children themselves.
The country’s media are now filled with prompts for young people to get married earlier and have more children. Chinese President Xi Jinping has traditionally been loath to use social welfare spending or direct cash benefits to citizens to reduce China’s addiction to investment and stimulate the economy. But that is exactly what Beijing is rolling out in response to the alarming decline in birth rates. Suddenly, one city or province after another is introducing monetary inducements to women or couples to have more children.
The young people who will in theory be the source of the children of the future increasingly say they are discouraged by the costs of housing and of raising children. And as most of them belong to one-child families themselves, they also speak in fear of the financial burdens that await them when their parents grow old and infirm and need taking care of. Compared with most wealthy Western countries, the Chinese state’s social welfare provisions for retirement, health, and elder care remain bare-bones.
In response to this, not only are young people putting off marriage until later, but increasing numbers of young Chinese are also forgoing it altogether, with some even dropping out of dating. Young women, meanwhile, have been big beneficiaries of the enormous boom in higher education in the country, and with more and more advanced learning among them, growing numbers of them have been privileging their own career development and—“Why not?” some said to me—their personal fulfillment.
In my conversations in China this summer, I never once inquired about feminism, but one after another, young women freely identified with it themselves. Then came this comment from a 19-year-old in Shanghai, whose name I am also withholding for her safety. “Maybe you’ll think this is too dark, but I definitely don’t,” she said. “It seems like we are on track for a situation where the state tries to force women to have children, like take us away to a camp or something. It worries me a lot.”
During China’s long boom years, not succumbing to the skepticism and naysaying of others seemed like a real source of strength for the society, even a virtue. We are in a new era now, though, and one of the biggest tests will be something the country’s leaders are altogether unaccustomed to: how well the system can hear and respond to the growing concerns and doubts of its own citizens.

Advantages and disadvantages of 5G
Tumblr media
5G technology or fifth generation technology offers many features for mobile networks. It is useful for government, students, businesses and professionals. It is a new mobile network designed to connect everyone and everything. It is the new standard in global wireless networks after 1G to 4G. It offers high multi-Gbps data speeds, low latency, large network capacity, and a flexible user experience. As this new technology is deployed, 5G technology should create many new applications.
5G technology features in brief. Speed up to 10 Gbits.
Great app
100 times more device connections
Fast response time
Waste of time
Another software option to upgrade. Great potential
With the proliferation of digital around the world, when live streaming and games, sports, news, movie reviews, social media, etc., the transfer of large amounts of data from one host to another and the Internet of Things (IoT) spurred the development of mobile phone standards. .
However, the 5G technology network has not yet reached its potential because the existing devices and infrastructure are not yet ready to support the 5G technology network. Those who have tested the 5G technology network using it with built-in 4G devices in this application are also called non-stationary 5G technology networks. The full potential of 5G technology will only be realized when independent networks, compatible devices and better communication tower technologies become available.
Advantages of 5G technology
Transfer data faster
The previous generation 4G LTE technology used bands below 3 GHz but in comparison, 5G technology uses bandwidth from 6 GHz in length to 24 GHz. However, it is important to note that 5G technology coverage also requires a base station and a broadcast tower compared to a 4G data network.
Improved network
5G networks are more flexible as they work with different customers, services and market segments. It divides its network in such a way that it will adapt to the needs of the users. It is based on Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Software Defined Networking (SDN). It is also called a "network fragment". This provides high data rates, low power consumption, and reliable low latency.
Moving Beamforming
Moving Beamforming refers to a radio signal processing technique that allows for the transmission or reception of a directional network, unlike a passive antenna that beams the signal randomly in all directions. 4G networks also use beamforming to some capacity, but in a growing sense.
Benefits for companies and businesses
It provides improved machine-to-machine communication for automation, real-time communication and guaranteed network availability, digitization of healthcare and agricultural industries.
Benefits for consumers
It provides fast download and download times when you are streaming users. Stable connection to mobile communications, low response time for online or cloud gaming, virtual reality, high quality live TV and 4K video telephony.
A more secure network
5G technology networks offer more security than previous generation networks. It supports protection against data loss, data corruption and theft. The exchange of sensitive and private customer data, such as hospital patient reports, customer data and student information at universities, is more secure in the 5G technology network.
Disadvantages of 5G
Limit coverage
The 5G technology network is a new technology, it requires a large network of ports and transmission towers worldwide, which requires a lot of time, testing, testing and setting up 5G technology towers.
Reduces durability
If the experts are to be believed, the non-standard 5G technology network undermines the performance of 4G network devices. Although a few manufacturers have started to produce 5G technology network devices, R & D believes that due to high data transmission in the largest network, the longevity or service life of mobile phones and other devices will be compromised.
Involvement in aviation
In January, Air India cancled several flights to the United States because they were rolling out 5G technology services in the country. This is a major setback of 5G technology in India as airlines have suffered losses due to ongoing 5G technology deployment projects. It can also be a hindrance in the future if not dealt with quickly. Internet Security Threats
Although the 5G technology network is said to help improve cybersecurity, it also has its limitations as it encourages cloud computing and exposes more data to risk. of hacking due to its lack of privacy and ease of access to network networks. on the other hand. hands
5G technologyin India
India officially launched its 5G technology network in October this year at an event held in New Delhi. Airtel and Jio have started rolling out 5G technology data plans in select state. However, Vodafone Idea is not planning to launch it in the near future.
In case of Airtel, they are currently placed in Tier I to Tier 8 countries. Jio has launched 5G technology services in limited areas. Many telecom operators are also of the opinion that pan-India 5G technology network coverage will take a few years. Jio recently announced after the 5G technology beta test that no SIM card is required to operate Jio's 5G technology network. However, Vodafone Idea has not yet announced its 5G technology network.
The health risks of 5G technology and the disadvantages of 5G technology for the environment
The International Commission on Non-ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) has stated that increasing radio frequencies above 6 GHz may have biological and health effects. The 5G technology network will increase the amount of electromagnetic radiation in the environment, causing a greater risk of cancer. With the lack of power of 5G technology network devices, there will also be an increase in the collection of electronic waste. The electric current from the cell tower exposed sparrows and other birds to increased egg production and nesting behavior. High rates of energy consumption have also contributed to global warming.

No contract
If you’re looking to switch mobile plans, it’s worth considering a SIM only plan. These plans don’t include a handset but offer the same features of more traditional plans. This way, you can use your current phone while saving money on the cost of a new device.
SIM only plans also come with cheaper monthly costs than contracts. This is because they don’t include the cost of the device in your monthly repayments. In addition, you can avoid the credit check required by long-term contract plans. This can tarnish your credit history and limit your options in the future.
A SIM only plan is a great option for budget-conscious consumers. However, it’s important to research providers and compare plans based on their Value Score. This score considers both price and features to determine a plan’s overall quality. This will help you make an informed decision about which provider and plan is best for your needs.

Samsung Galaxy A71 vs A71 5G: What's the Difference and Which One Should You Choose?
When it comes to Samsung's popular Galaxy A series, two models have stood out: the Samsung Galaxy A71 and the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G. Both devices offer impressive features, a sleek design, and a solid performance at a mid-range price point. However, there are some significant differences between them, especially when it comes to connectivity, performance, and value for money.
In this article, we'll dive into a detailed comparison between the Samsung Galaxy A71 and A71 5G, covering key aspects such as network capabilities, performance, camera features, battery life, and pricing. By the end, you'll have a clearer understanding of which model might be the right choice for you.
1. Network Capabilities: 4G vs 5G
The most obvious difference between the Samsung Galaxy A71 and the A71 5G is their network connectivity. 3. Camera Features: Similarities and Differences
Both the Samsung Galaxy A71 and A71 5G feature impressive camera setups, but there are no significant differences in the overall camera performance between the two models.
Samsung Galaxy A71 (4G):
Rear Camera: The A71 (4G) sports a 64MP primary sensor, an 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth sensor.
Front Camera: The front camera is a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

How Fixed Wireless Access Is Changing Gaming Acceleration
Tumblr media
At its headquarters in Riyadh, Zain KSA, a prominent Saudi digital service provider, successfully carried out the first joint verification of Fixed Wireless Access Gaming Acceleration in partnership with Huawei. This proof of concept (POC) ushers in a new age of distinctive wireless home internet experiences by correctly identifying gaming services and successfully ensuring user experience and perception.
One method that expands fixed broadband connections is called Fixed Wireless Access. In order to give residential users network access, it uses Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) to collect mobile signals from 5G base stations and transform them into Wi-Fi. Given Saudi Arabia’s distinct topography and abundance of indoor entertainment choices, Fixed Wireless Access immediately attracted a sizable household user base when it first entered the market. It provides quick and easy network connections while addressing the difficulties associated with implementing conventional fixed-line fiber optic networks.
According to statistics, there are more than 25 million gamers in Saudi Arabia, and their needs for a high-quality home gaming network are growing. A targeted improvement to the present FWA solution is the Gaming Acceleration feature, Service Turbo, which was jointly confirmed by Zain KSA and Huawei. The proof of concept effectively showed that the gaming service’s fast speed and low latency were effectively ensured under full network load (simulated using SpeedTest), with a 90% decrease in latency and a 70% decrease in jitter in comparison to situations without this feature.
The slicing or dedicated bearer is the main method used to implement the Service Turbo technology. Accurately detecting gaming traffic, Huawei 5G CPE Pro 5 attaches the game slicing or initiates the creation of dedicated bearers in the Huawei Core Network and RAN. This guarantees that network resources are scheduled and allocated for gaming traffic in a priority manner. This innovation helps Zain KSA provide new possibilities to home broadband users in the market by improving and guaranteeing the gaming experience while also properly and logically allocating the limited network resources.
The Fixed Wireless Access Service Turbo was introduced with the goal of improving the game experience by successfully resolving issues like latency and network instability. This cutting-edge service will provide users with unique experiences, demonstrating its dedication to satisfying the changing needs of a changing digital environment.
Zain KSA has continuously followed its Fixed Wireless Access strategy plan. Zain KSA continues to lead FWA innovation with the expansion of multidimensional network capabilities from 5G to 5G-A, satisfying consumers’ unique network needs and establishing a new standard for the uptake of wireless home internet in the Saudi market and beyond.
What is fixed wireless access?
Without the need of physical cables, fixed wireless access (FWA) is a wireless technology that offers high-speed internet access to a designated area. Fixed Wireless Access, also referred to as fixed wireless internet, connects a customer’s location to the internet using radio waves.
Fixed Wireless Access is an economical and effective substitute for conventional telephone or cable connections. It’s perfect for businesses without standard broadband or for reaching underserved or remote areas. In the event of a network failure, FWA can also be utilized as a backup solution.
FWA uses several subscriber units dispersed over a large region and a base station linked to a fixed network. Customers can connect to the network by using radio waves to communicate with the subscriber units from the base station. Typically, rooftop antennas installed on fixed objects like buildings or poles establish the radio waves.
Although Fixed Wireless Access is compatible with both 4G LTE and 5G technologies, 5G FWA is especially useful due to its fast speeds and low latency, which are on par with fiber optic connections.
Fixed wireless access architecture
Fixed wireless access (FWA) architecture is a system that links residences and commercial buildings to the internet via radio waves:
The base station
A stationary network-connected station that uses radio waves to communicate with subscriber units
Units of subscribers
Wireless devices that function as tiny cell towers are dispersed across a wide region.
Equipment on Customer Premises (CPE)
A device that receives data from the base station and is installed either inside or outside a residence or place of business
Modern
An apparatus within the structure that transforms the CPE signal into Wi-Fi for numerous devices
What Is Fixed Wireless Internet?
Fixed Wireless Access is an easy-to-use solution that doesn’t need any wire or drilling. Because it’s inexpensive and easy to execute, it’s a fantastic choice for companies that relocate regularly. In rural areas or places with unpredictable weather, FWA can also be utilized as a backup to wired networks.
