But following an accident whistle vacation in Dubai she somehow makes her boyfriend believe that she does somthing else for a living, something that earns her way more money than she has. Her boyfriend, Ruben, is just happy to have found someone who understands him so well, someone who doesn't want him for his money since money isn't an issue for neither reader or himself. Or so thinks. Would finding out the truth ruin their newfound relationship? Readers thinks so, and does everything to keep up the lie, although it has some bad people from the middle east looking for her.

He couldn't wait. Neither of you could wait. However, it was Ruben who insited on flying you out to Manchester for the weekend to watch him play.
"I have nothing, what should I wear?" You asked Alicia, as she helped raid your closet.
"I would say go shopping. But..."
"I don't have any money."
"Of course you don't."
She mumbled something under her breath.
"Huh, what was that?"
"I said, I bet Mr Siddiq have some money to spare."
You rolled your eyes. "Let it go Alicia, it's been months."
"But don't you miss it?" She crawled across the fallen outfits on your bedroom floor. "Don't you miss the thrill of spending somone elses money? The thrill of getting anything you want with one phone call to some account in Dubai? Don't you miss it?"
"No."
You would suggest that she lay of the caffeine, however with Alicia you never know, it could be drugs.
"Alright, if you've got nothing to wear I guess I can lend you some of my designer clothes."
"Really?"
She nodded. "Unlike you, I put Mr Siddiq's money to good use when we were in Portugal."
"Thank you Alicia, really."
"No worries, and I'll make sure to slip in the promiscious lingerie I got from Savage x Fenty."
You arrived in Manchester on Friday evening, barley making it home after a day's work. You had to rush to the airport not to miss your flight. Then Ruben had a car pick you up at the airport, since it would be too tight for him to pick you up himself after his training. Nevertheless, your heart was in your throat by the time the car pulled up to his apartment building. The doorman had you hand over your ID card so he could check the guest list. It was fancy, the way that Ruben lived.
"Y/N, you're here!"
The doorman let you take the elevator up to the right floor. You knocked on Ruben's door and was happily suprised to see him appear with wet hair and a towel wrapped around his lean waist.
"Suprise." You smiled, even though he was well aware that you were coming. You hugged, a long hug, with Ruben apologizing for soaking your shirt.
"It's fine, I'll just have a quick change."
"Sure. The bathroom is over there. I'll get started on dinner."
Ruben could cook, he could really cook. You spent three hours around his dinner table, chatting away about anything and everything. "So what's the plan for tomorrow?" You asked, helping him clear the dishes.
"After the game, the depending on the result, we could eat out, have nice dinner somwhere."
"And if the game doesn't end well? What would happned then?" You were curious to know.
"Well, we're playing United, aren't we?"
"Yes, and?"
"Trust me." He smirked. "It will end well."
Next morning you woke up to an empty bed and a note on your bedside table.
"Off to the stadium. Made you breakfast. See you soon. –R ❤️"
Ruben was so sweet and apparently, a very deep sleeper. He had you in a strong hold of you all through the night, your body pressed to his, unable to move. And you loved every minute of it.
For breakfast he made you a delicious omelet with a proteinshake. The omelet was out of this world, however, the protein shake was a bit too heavy, so you put half of it away in the fridge for later. You got ready around one o'clock, dressing up in one of Alicia's cutest outfits. A black skirt with big pumps to go with, and a coat from Gucci along with a pair of leather gloves. You wore your hair in a tight bun, along with a pair of earmuffs for the cold. Ruben had a car ready to drive you to the stadium once you were done. It was breathtaking, seeing so many people line up for a football match. The experience would be a first for you but you were more than excited for it.
"Told you we would win."
Ruben was definitely not humble about his team leaving victorious against United.
"You were amazing Ruben, really."
"Thank you baby." He kissed you and you stiffened. It was the first time he had done so since your arrival, and he had done so whilst you were surrounded by all kinds of people.
"You okay?" He said, smiling at your reaction.
"I'm..." You smiled. "...fine. I'm all good actually."
"Good. So where do you wanna eat?"
You shrugged. "I'll go wherever."
"Really?"
"Yeah, why?"
He looked to contemplate something.
"Well, my friend is having this thing at this club, a celebration because of the win."
"Right."
"I'm not sure there'll be any food, but maybe we could pick somthing up on the way?"
Meeting Ruben's friends hadn't been involved in your plans for the weekend. It wasn't like you and Ruben were together or anything. How had it come to this?
"Or we could just go somewhere else." He said, noticing your hesitation. "I know some nice restaurants nearby by if you...."
"It's fine Ruben." You assured. "I'd love to go clubbing with you and your friends. However, I think I'm a bit underdressed."
It wasn't that you were underdressed. You wore more layers than most of the girls that you ran into in th club. But, you were really not dressed for a night out.
"Oh my god, hi! You must be Y/N!"
"Um, hi."
At some point of the night, when Ruben got comfortable letting go of your hand, you ran into a girl at the bar.
"Hi, I'm Lauren. I saw when you came in with Ruben and thought I'd say hello."
"Um, hello?"
"I'm being creepy, sorry. I'm with Jack."
"Jack?" You frowned. You don't believe Ruben had introduced you to a Jack yet.
"Yeah, Jack Grealish....Ruben's teammate?"
You looked around, confused as to who the girl was reffering to."
"You've never heard of Jack Grealish?"
"Um, no. But I'm sure if you point him out I could...."
It doesn't matter. Can I have your socials?"
"My what?"
"Your social medias. Like Instagram, Tik Tok. Please don't tell me you're on Facebook?"
"I'm not. I just don't think..."
It doesn't matter, I'll find you."
It was like watching a master at work. In under twenty seconds Lauren had picked up her phone and scrolled through hundreds of accounts. "Found it! @y/n.1995, right?"
"Right."
She worked fast. Faster than Ruben, who didn't have your @ for obvious reasons.
"Ugh, why is it so grey?" Was Lauren's reaction to your feed. "And who's that fat guy in like every picture?"
"Eh, that would be my dad."
"Oh."
Most of the content you put out on your social medias were of other people. You should've given Lauren Alicia's Instagram, there she might have found what she was looking for. Aesthetic traveling content that made real agencies look like amateurs. However, Lauren kept scrolling, looking displeased until the end.
"You and Ruben haven't posted each other yet. Are you guys like only having fun, or...?"
You had no idea what she possible meant by that, however, your answer was simple, perhaps too simple. "We've only been talking for a while, so..."
"I get it." Lauren nodded, finally putting away her phone and turning to order a drink at the bar. "Three bottles of Moët and a BIG bottle of Grey Goose."
"Three Moët, one 6L Goose, for table number three. Anything else?" The bartender rounded up Lauren's crazy bill. Hopefully she wasn't planning on consuming all of that alcohol by herself, you thought. No, prayed.
"No, that will be all, thanks."
"Sweet, that'll be 1 000 pounds."
"Fuck. I forgot my purse at the table. Y/N, you don't mind paying do you?"
"Excuse me?"
"The drinks are for our table. I'll just have Jack pay you back once he's sober enough."
"Um, what?" Was she crazy, you didn't have that kind of money.
"Unless you're not good for it. I could just get Ruben to..."
"No!" You panicked. "I mean....I'm good for it, paying for the alcohol."
"Great. I'll see you back at our the table."
You watched her skip away with the bottles and the last of your pride. The bartender made a gesture that you were holding up the line.
"I'm just gonna make a phone call." You said, shying away from the crowd. You looked up the number that Alicia made you save as "Suger Daddy #1"
"Yes, hello? Is this Mr Siddiq's accountant?"

I'm moving tomorrow to a house! Still staying in the same city, but away from the touristy part, to a very quiet area. The beach is only a 10 minute drive away, and a 30 minute walk. We have much more space compared to the apartment, and a garden too! Our dog loves it! Haven't decorated my bedroom yet, I'll wait for until everything is in place. I'm already exhausted and sick of moving stuff today, but the biggest chunk aka furniture is tomorrow. So one last night in my bedroom I spent 4 years in~ Wish us luck!

aaaaaaaaaaaah I can’t believe it! Tomorrow I’m actually going on my first real vacation since the beginning of the pandemic, to Dubai and Abu Dhabi!
Didn’t really talk about it before, bc we need a negative test and I was so sure I would still be positive with remnant from when i was sick in december. But I did a sinus flush everyday for the past 2 weeks, apparently it helped?
But anyway, I’m so happy I can finally go on vacation again! I’ll keep it safe, long live FFP2 masks. Glad the UAE are pretty strict and require vaccination + negative tests
