Our country is currently divided, and there is not liberty or justice for all. The very pillars of our great nation are corrupt. This Fourth of July, let us raise awareness of the racial injustices in our country. Let us call upon our leaders to prioritize our fundamental American rights, as well as create an important dialogue surrounding such issues. Independence day is celebrated each year to commemorate our country's independence from Great Britain. We might legally be a "free country," but are we really free when a vast portion of our nation faces obstructions to their freedoms each day? Join us on July 4, 2015 as we wear black instead of the traditional red, white, and blue. Instagram, tweet, and/or post on Facebook in black, and in the caption write "Liberty and Justice for all," and explain your view of what this quote means to you and what it means for you to be an American.
