Here are some tips about hedgehogs and hedgehog care to ensure optimal goofball Zack care.
Hedgehogs need a warm environment, making places like Gongaga the ideal climate for them.
Pet hedgehogs are typically fed cat food, with mealworms as a treat.
Hedgehogs both like and require frequent baths to keep them clean.
Most hedgehogs are blind or almost entirely blind. This is why they get startled easily, as they often cannot tell if an object is Cloud, a yellow pom-pom, or an enemy.
Hedgehogs can run up to 4mph. On average they travel about 2 miles per day.
fantastic!!! perfect info for aspiring goofball caretakers
#also. 4 MILES PER HOUR!! no wonder sonic is a hedgehog#those tiny legs... sprinting top speed#asks#<3333

Notes from Off Track (Testing, Petit, and Weddings)
- I’ve noticed for a few weeks now they haven’t been using the intro (James just says “this is off track” with the zoom zoom noise) or the outro (James just chats about the sponsorship over the music). I wonder why 🤔
- Alex is somewhere else on fire - was meant to be in Hawaii but they already had time off and dog sitters so they went to Wyoming (Jackson Hall) and it’s on fire
- They teased him about being a known arsonist and James said he can’t come over until it all “blows over” teehee.
- ECR test - it went really well - first time a bigger group running the hybrid at IMS. IMS least affected by extra weight.
- The team felt like home straight away. Nice smaller core group and it seems to really work for him.
- Talked about the additional weight issue - “no one wants to be slower”, but James asked would it be better racing if they had more downforce, even if it means it’s 4mph slower, Alex said no, because it’s more affected by the grip so the better solution is a better tyre (which isn’t going to happen)
- Actually it would just be better to start it later so it’s cooler, but they can’t because of security shifts and buffer for rain delays
- Shit talking Thim’s new couch
- Petit Le Mans - apparently they get a lot of bruises doing driver changes which I hadn’t ever really thought about, but all three of them just used the same insert to sit in which didn’t really fit James (third driver is the bitch driver)
- James practiced on iRacing getting intimate with the curbs 😉
- But basically it was too much green flag racing and they had issues early so they were down a few laps and no way to make them back up
- Pfaff are racing again in 2025 and announcements coming in the near distant future and James wants to do that, and drive a little bit more 🥳
- Talked about issues with late yellow or red flags for a crash - blind corner, at night, with no headlights on the car - needs to be done more safely
- JAMES DID A PIASCO/PALOU-STYLE TWEET QUOTE. He doesn’t have any certainty for next year yet sooooo
- Alex is officiating a wedding and James gave him tips (and then Thim did too and was actually mildly helpful)
- There was an influx of purchases of the patches after last week LOL

3 miles this morning; will do a little more this afternoon despite the heat.
halfway through it.
leg wasn't feeling good when i got up this morning and i despaired, but giving it uhhhhh fifty minutes of walking warmup let me run for a half mile very slowly with no pain, so! i can work with this!
even got to do it twice!
at this rate i'll slam the whole bag before dinner watch all of dungeon meshi this week
#fake jock bullshit#as long as leg & hangers-on feel fine all day today then i'll inch the speed back up tomorrow#this 4mph stuff is very silly#it would be impossible to go so slow overland#my heart rate is barely faster 'running' at such a speed as it is walking#i'm pretty sure it's helping though#very friendly movement pattern + very small forces#i had sorta only planned to do 25 minutes of running but then i saw the skull#and i was like. i sorta know where this is going due to the dash osmosis but i don't think i can stop now#hence 50 minutes

Getting a new wheelchair! The XTSO M4
If you're wondering what model of power chair this is, it's this in the readmore:
Here's the website.
Here's my family friend's website with even more variety and options.
I'm brand new to wheelchairs and power chairs, but have recently invested in this one as my mobility has been an increasing issue as I'm getting older. A family friend of mine has MS and owns a wheelchair and powerchair company, and just recently went to a floor-show of new models in Miami, FL, and emailed me back with the XSTO M4 as a recommendation for my first chair.
These chairs are expensive. They may not be affordable for you. I'm only getting one because I know a guy who sells them and he's willing to help me out when it comes to the financials. However, if you're curious, shopping, or interested to know what kind of new tech is starting to be incorporated into electric wheelchairs, here are some product deets about the M4:
Comes with an automatic balance system, which balances out the seat even when I'm going uphill. This prevents the "I'm going to fall and hit my head" sensation if a slope is steep.
Can clear vertical obstacles of up to 2" vertically or 6" horizontally (such as rolling over grass between paving stones) , so if a city's infrastructure sucks for chair-bound people, I can at least brute-force to a sidewalk or park when necessary.
Can handle slopes of up to 15°
Breathable back and memory foam seat for no more Ass Sweat Prints on warm days.
Designed not to slip or skid on slippery surfaces or going up or downhill
Self-adjusts the seat to stay level even when on a slope so I don't tip over or fall off the chair. Also has a safety-wheel in the back so it can't be tipped backwards, either.
Travels up to 11 miles on a single charge
Has both "casual" (indoor) and "off-road" settings.
Can adjust the seat up or down up to 8" to Reach Things Better or Be More Visible To Traffic.
Has no rear handles for assholes to grab and try to move me around without permission.
Comes with an app (ugh I know) that makes my phone make an alert noise when the battery is low or a part or component is malfunctioning, gives me the ability to remotely control it to wheel it closer to me if it's out of reach and I can't walk to it (honestly a selling point for me; I never know when I'll have Bad Issues and need extra help), switch its modes from casual to sport mode, and make it fold/unfold for space.
Breaks into 3 separate parts for easier storage in the back of a car.
Goes up to ~4mph, which isn't bad for me, since my normal mph at home without a chair is 0.
Has a tight 32" turning radius courtesy of the front tires, making it good for moving around indoors too.
Seat reclines and has a small leg-rest for if I want to lean back.
The manufacturer recycles parts, so if something like the battery needs replacing, I can send the old part in and receive a new, replacement part for free.
Almost every feature covered by the app is also available on the LCD readout beside the joystick, so I don't need to use the app if I don't want to.
It doesn't look like I stole it from a retirement home or a WalMart.

Driving in the united states tips:
1: If someone is tail-gating you, maintain speed. Slowing down could cause a wreck. Another thing is, if they have camera proof, they could get you for brake-checking, even if that isnt what you intended to do. Brake-checking is illegal if it can be proven because its considered reckless endangerment.
2: If someone riding with you tells you to speed up to catch a light, only do so if the distance is too short to stop AND you arent already speeding. In some cases, stopping hard is better than running the light. Luckily, my state has "if a cop didnt see it, it didnt happen" laws for red light cameras. Nevermind the potential speeding ticket.
3: If you get pulled over for speeding, dont admit to speeding. Tell them exactly the speed limit. Dont fudge it for even a few miles over. In many states, like mine, you can be ticketed for as little as 4mph over.
4: If you get fined for something in a different state that is legal in your state (such as the shade of your window tint or not having two license plates), go to court with proof of residence and proof that its legal where you live. Its more complicated than paying the fine, but do it. Paying the fine is an admission of guilt. Dont admit to a crime for something that isnt illegal where you live.
Things i just thought of at random that many people dont know.

Just a small question, I mean no harm, really, I'm just confused, but did you ever get prosecuted because the car thing was a crime?
No. Ex therapist was too scared to call the police, rightfully so. After I fired him for denying the reality of my kintypes, I waited in the parking lot in my car for him to head home for the day. When I saw him, I drove towards him, slowly to sneak up on him. The look on his face when I hit him was priceless. He said he wouldn't call the police this time, as I was going 4mph and did not harm him, but that I was not allowed to come back or he WOULD call the police. Personally, I think he just realized who he was messing with and got scared, as he should.

4mph today, it’s an awkward speed for her stride so she was further back on the mill for most of it, probably up the speed just a touch more to find the right speed to match her stride and then stop there so we’re staying within speeds that she can safely dismount the mill at any given time if she needs to

A wheelchair is great for social engineering. Abelism is very exploitable. And if you wanted, I could see if I could push you fast enough to set off speed cameras as we make our getaway.
My mates call me "pack horse" because I carry everyone's stuff and do all the physical labour when I can, so I'm certain I can give it a fair dinkum effort.
I can do 4mph chief and I'm giving her all she's got!!
Haha it'd be worth a shot though. Maybe someday! I'd love to exploit the ableism I expereicne all day every day for sure.

It’s Day 205 of the Windy Wessagusset Wimple of 2024. The wind was out of the east southeast at 4mph with gusts to 11mph. The temperature was 67°, and felt like it was 64°. I used the Baby Pink color of Red Heart Super Saver yarn to show the wind was out of the east southeast. I worked my knitting in garter stitch since the wind was blowing at 4mph. Today began overcast and with drizzle. It continued all morning, not wetting the ground, but appearing on the windshield as we drove, and were parked. I went to get a much needed haircut today. My hair seems to be growing faster these days. My next appointment will be in five weeks rather than six. Be safe out there.

Can I ask what manual chair you have and the configurations :0 I’m in the process of getting an ultralightweight manual and I’m curious as to what your set up is :)
I don't actually have a proper manual chair at the moment. I used to but it was just a generic hospital-issued chair, and I was 13 and vehemently opposed to it. Now I just use a lightweight powerchair. But I've been looking into manual replacements so I can give you information on a couple of the models I was looking into?
Current Chair:
i Go Lite
[ID: Transparent photograph of the i Go Lite carbon fibre powerchair. /end]
Weight: 18kg Batteries: Lithium- Removable Battery Weight: 1.4kg Max Speed: 4mph Max Weight Capacity: 135kg/21st 3lbs Turning Radius: 35" Wheels: Solid Foldable: Yes
This chair, though a power chair, does have a "manual" mode. It's great if you're pushing it from behind, but awful if you're looking for a self-propelling chair.
Researched Models:
Whirl Self-Propelled Wheelchair
[ID: Photograph of the Whirl Self-Propelled Wheelchair on a white background. /end]
Unfolded:
Length: 115 cm (45.3 inches) Width: 64 cm (25.2 inches) Rear wheel: 61 cm (24 inches) × 35 cm (13.8 inches) Front castor wheel: 20 cm (7.9 inches) x 2.5 cm (1 inch) Seat height, rear: 47.5 cm (18.7 inches) Max user weight: 114 kg (18 stone)
Folded:
External Depth with footrests: 104 cm (41 inches) External Depth without footrests: 77 cm (30.25 inches) External Width: 34 cm (13.5 inches) Height: 91cm - 96 cm (35.75 - 37.75 inches)
Phantom Wheelchair (Self-Propelled)
[ID: Photograph of the Phantom self-propelled wheelchair on a white background. /end]
Height: 91.5cm/36" Width: 71cm/28" Length: 108cm/42.5" Width (Closed): 41cm/16.1" Seat Height: 48cm/18.9" Seat Depth: 41cm/16.1" Seat Width: 46cm/18.1" Backrest Width: 47cm/18.5" Weight Capacity: 135kg/21st

Here’s my recipe to maintaining a somewhat toned somewhat slim somewhat average body year round with not too much effort:
• it helps to have a daily stimulant prescription for appetite suppression, but you can try other things like cigarettes or caffeine, or just any illegal stim or RC should work just fine
• listen to high BPM music (ideally 160+) and mixes from the moment you wake up till you go to sleep and dance through the day
• go to the gym once a month to work major movements (push, pull, legs) each once and lift heavy
• if you want to do cardio, do a mix of 50% walking at high incline on a treadmill, like 13-15% at 3-4mph and sprinting at high incline, like 5-10%. For like twenty minutes or half an hour. It should be hard but you won’t lose lean muscle compared to running on a flat road and you won’t be as hungry. Also avoid the sun!
• do pull ups halfway seriously three times a week on a door pull up bar
• walk to run most errands (grocery shopping, picking furniture off the street, meeting friends)
• try to catch the bus you might miss and run to it with enough speed so you have some time to spare
• fuck daily, ideally twice a day and get that heart racing
• perfect a recipe you like that’s not boring (no chicken and rice and veggies) that takes like 15 minutes to prepare during meal time that has a good balance of protein, fat, and carbs. I make a Shakshuka with four eggs and meatless meatballs and sometimes three slices of sourdough bread
• drink water when you’re high and get your mind off food and don’t keep snacks around. The munchies will stop bothering you when you ignore the craving and have no place to get food, so get some practice in a few times
• have fun and don’t feel miserable in your diet or workout routine, because then you’ll try to do something drastic that you’ll regret or won’t be able to sustain
