they were originally just filler miis based on alt fashion i enjoy but then i realized that i could turn them into original characters! :3

their names are damien grey (pastel goth, he/him) and hazel grey (emo, she/her)

their internet nicknames are “h4zel” and “d4mien” because they’re interested in the macabre and all things gloomy (the number 4 being a symbol of death in some cultures)

and also because they thought replacing letters with numbers would look cool

they both love to skateboard and frequently go to their local skate park to practice (and sometimes hide and make out)

d4mi practices ballet and writes fanfic while h4ze practices karate and creates digital art

d4mien can be described as self reliant and laid back, preferring to do things at his own pace. he’s also awkward around most people save for his sister, telling her everything about his feelings and secrets. he always thinks outside the box

whilst h4zel is often ruminating and very thoughtful, she can analyze every issue and think things through. she’s very introverted aside from when she’s around her brother, freely talking about anything and everything with him. she’s very creative as well

they’re twins in their early 20s

for some unknown reason, they’ve had telepathic powers for as long as they could remember and communicate to each other that way, though they prefer to speak verbally whenever necessary

as a result of being basically neglected from their parents, the two became inseparable as kids and never seemed to grow out of it

to distract their children from what little time these parents gave them, the twins got unrestricted internet access at around 8 years old when they got their first laptop

around 2014, they joined tumblr found their respective alternative fashions and subcultures that they loved

as well as figuring out they were trans and going “oh shit! i didn’t know there was a word for what accurately describes us”

slightly inspired by tomodachi life, the two first realized their love for each other when high school bullies “matchmade” them as a prank when they were around 16

even when they realized this was all a joke, it dawned on the twins that they were the only people to ever want to be together with

deciding that the house they were living in before was too restrictive, especially because their parents were disapproving of their fashion sense and their (unbeknownst to them) transness, h4zel and d4mien moved out a little while after they turned 18

their parents didn’t seem to care too much about their children moving out, finally relieved they don’t have to “deal with them” anymore and rarely, if ever, keep in contact with them

the way d4mi and h4ze show their love and devotion is similar to that of gomez and morticia addams

i accidentally wrote a whole ass novel, whoops ^^;
