I did the best I could with the PSN servers being down for a day and a half and brought you this compilation of Weekly Challenges done with meme cars as just using what everyone else is using would be boring! Let’s hope that PSN goes smoothly for next week’s compilation. 

Here are the races listed in this compilation 

Race #1: Sunday Cup with the Willys MB 

In this race, the Willys MB takes on the Sunday Cup at Broad Bean Raceway and is going to be racing against several subcompact cars and the Toyota CH-R. This SUV rarely gets used in Gran Turismo 7 as it has little to no purpose. But, I am here to prove that the good ol’ army Jeep can still be a capable vehicle. 

Race #2: 4WD Challenge 600 with the HiMedic 

The Toyota HiMedic only has one purpose in this game: to be used for ambulance liveries and ambulance races. This race was a bit harder as the opponents were faster than HiMedic in the straights. So, I had to use nitrous. But anyways, I still won this short race and proved that the HiMedic can be useful when used in races. 

Race #3: Race of Turbo Sportscars with the Yellow Evo 

Not the same one, but is still part of the Yellow Evo family. This Dandelion Yellow Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII takes on other turbocharged cars at the LaCroix raceway and has to deal with some cars that’ll charge ahead. Who knows what this yellow Evo might be up to next?! 

Race #4: Hyundai Ioniq 5 N Cup 

This race has players using the Hyundai 5 which is one of the many cars added in Version 1.55. You can’t do much for tuning with this car as it is an EV. But, I was still able to make the best of it and overpowered the competition. It’s much easier than the next race. 

Race #5: World Touring Car Championship 900 with an Indy Car 

Since the IndyCar Series is just around the corner, I decided to tackle the World Touring Car Championship 900 with an IndyCar (Dallara SF-19 in the game). It looks like Josef Newgarden decided to do some international racing in his spare time! But anyways, this was the hardest of all of the races listed in this compilation due to the fact that it has fuel and tire wear and I had to pit on the 5th lap in order to win this race. Credit goes to Ellis_The_Husky for making this amazing livery.

Bromo (03.00 AM) After arrived at Jeep point, the group will continue the trip to reach the top of the Penanjakan Hill and with our 4WD vehicle. Enjoy your time seeing the beautiful sunrise of Bromo from Penanjakan sunrise point before continuing the trip to Bromo crater. Starting from the parking lot of Bromo Crater, you can take walk or ride a horse to reach the rim of the crater. You will be surprised with a view of the peak of Mount Batok, Mount Semeru, and the temple of Luhur Poten. You can also visit the Teletubies hill, the slopes of the mountain covered with vast green grass and Widodaren Hill.  After Bromo excursion, take a breakfast at nearest restaurant before continuing the journey to Madakaripura Waterfall.

Madakaripura Waterfall (11.00AM) From Bromo area, it would take 60mins of car ride to reach Madakaripura area. Upon arrival at parking area, you need to take motorbike shuttle to the entrance gate for about 10mins. The tour guide takes you to Ijen Mountain and it takes 1.5 hours. You are going to the base camp and enjoy a coffee-break before starting the trip. Just prepare your stamina because you are about to go to the rim of Ijen Crater. It is challenging hiking but worth to do. You have to spend about 2 hours and pass 3.5 kilometers before get to the location.

From there, you will enjoy stunning blue fire, burning Sulfur that spews blue light in the dark. Blue fire is a nature phenomenon created by the burning sulphur, which can be seen during the night. Yet, it might be different every night depending on condition around such as humidity, wind’s direction and the heat from the sulphur itself. Thus, there is no 100% guarantee tourists would see it clearly. *This place is not recommended for people with asthma, heart attack or any other health problem at intermediate stage. Wear hiking shoes for more enjoyable trekking. When the sunrises, resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2386 meters and enjoy the best panorama of the world’s largest acidic lake with its magnificent turquoise colored water.

Ending the tour, drop off to BaliAfter enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then descend the slope of Mount Ijen back to the base camp.Driving back to the hotel, you may enjoy rain forest scenery with unique giant fern trees and several coffee plantations on the way. Takes 2 hours of drive until we arrived at the hotel. Between 10:00 – 10:30 AM, checking out from hotel and go to Ketapang harbor and take ferry to reach Bali island. You have to go there on time otherwise you will lose the main attraction. The main attraction is the amazing sunrise and you are about to enjoy it from the sunrise viewpoint. There are 3 spots that you can choose. It takes 1 hour from your hotel to the sunrise viewpoint. You will enjoy the beauty of the sea of sand before arriving at the sunrise viewpoint.

You have time up to 08:00 AM before going back to the parking area and hotel. After getting the hotel, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast and leave the hotel at 09:00 AM to go to Banyuwangi. It takes 6 to 7 hours including lunch so you will get into the city around 04:00 PM. You will check in to the hotel and take a rest for the next trip.

Day 3

Ijen VolcanoJust like the day before, you have to hit your early alarm and leave the hotel on time. Our tour guide will pick you up at the lobby at 00:30 AM. The tour guide takes you to Ijen Mountain and it takes 1.5 hours. You are going to the base camp and enjoy a coffee-break before starting the trip. Just prepare your stamina because you are about to go to the rim of Ijen Crater. It is challenging hiking but worth to do. You have to spend about 2 hours and pass 3.5 kilometers before get to the location.

The main show in the area is the blue fire, burning Sulphur, and also mining activity. It spews blue light in the dark. Hari ke-3

Kawah Ijen (00.30 pagi)

Sama seperti hari sebelumnya, Anda harus membunyikan alarm lebih awal dan meninggalkan hotel tepat waktu. Pemandu wisata kami akan menjemput Anda di lobi pada pukul 00:30. Pemandu wisata membawa Anda ke Gunung Ijen dan memakan waktu 1,5 jam. Anda akan pergi ke base camp dan menikmati rehat kopi sebelum memulai perjalanan. Persiapkan saja stamina Anda karena akan menuju bibir Kawah Ijen. Ini adalah pendakian yang menantang tetapi layak untuk dilakukan. Anda harus menghabiskan waktu sekitar 2 jam dan melewati 3,5 kilometer sebelum sampai ke lokasi.

Setelah menikmati pemandangan alam di Kawah Ijen dan kemudian menuruni lereng Gunung Ijen kembali ke base camp. Day 2

Sunrise at Penanjakan Bromo (03.00 AM) Hit your alarm before 03:00 AM and be ready to start the next exploration. This day you will ride a 4WD Jeep to Mount Penanjakan. You have to go there on time otherwise you will lose the main attraction. The main attraction is the amazing sunrise and you are about to enjoy it from the sunrise viewpoint. There are 3 spots that you can choose. It takes 1 hour from your hotel to the sunrise viewpoint. You will enjoy the beauty of the sea of sand before arriving at the sunrise viewpoint.

The weather is extremely cold there and sometimes the area is covered by fog. The fog makes you stand above the sea of clouds from Mount Bromo or Mount Batok. This trip offers more than just amazing sunrise and fog. It is also offering the great scenery of Mount Semeru. This is the time to capture the highest volcanic mountain in Java. The beautiful moment will end around 06:30 AM so you have to capture it immediately. Then, you will continue the trip to the peak of Mount Bromo. You have time up to 08:00 AM before going back to the parking area and hotel. After getting the hotel, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast and leave the hotel at 09:00 AM to go to Banyuwangi. It takes 6 to 7 hours including lunch so you will get into the city around 04:00 PM. You will check in to the hotel and take a rest for the next trip.

Day 3

Ijen Volcano Just like the day before, you have to hit your early alarm and leave the hotel on time. Our tour guide will pick you up at the lobby at 00:30 AM. The tour guide takes you to Ijen Mountain and it takes 1.5 hours. You are going to the base camp and enjoy a coffee-break before starting the trip. Just prepare your stamina because you are about to go to the rim of Ijen Crater. It is challenging hiking but worth to do. You have to spend about 2 hours and pass 3.5 kilometers before get to the location.

The main show in the area is the blue fire, burning Sulphur, and also mining activity. It spews blue light in the dark. You will also enjoy the most beautiful sunrise around the largest acidic lake in the world. When you are done enjoying the surroundings and scenery, the tour guide will lead you to go back to the base-camp. The trip to the hotel will pass through coffee plantations and it takes 1.5 hours before getting the hotel.
