Everyone! I have news about the Vulture living nearby! I believe it has found a mate! It's been staying in the nest it constructed at all times, while the other that has shown up recently hunts for food! I will keep you all updated on what happens with the two of them next!

But.. well let's just say nothing good in my life came from working on it. I was designed to research Karma flowers, to gain more information any potential role they play in Ascension, really my research was meant to be simply subsidiary to my older brother's, which from the very beginning he was all too keen to remind me. Things only got worse once the ancients were gone, and me and my sister decided pursue other interests, the whole thing has been very.. devisive in my local group

{4TO} You seem to be off already making plans, before you go though the creature did want it to be made bi-pedal instead of airborne, GFC said their usual design had the affomentioned design "features", but they may make an exception here and go for something more closely resembling a puppet, it wasn't clear from their messages

{4TO} So you're gonna go beat up a slugcat huh? I've been reading the forums, and while you seem to like your privacy they, it, whatever seems perfectly happy for people to see anything they've been saying, especially regarding you

{4TO} Only reason I bring it up is because that slugcat rubs me the wrong way, and while in the 5 minutes I've known you all I've received is insults and accusations of being some sort of creepy stalker, the whole thing just doesn't sit right with me.

{4TO} I did a little bit of digging, and it seems like the creature is commissioning this guy Gunpowder Covered Fields to make them some sorta mech suit. I don't know if you know them, apparently they have a Biggass space gun, which is news to me. Anyway, apparently this mech thing's gonna be floating, and prone to explosions if said floating mechanisms are damaged enough. Hope that helps

AoaS: Hello again 4 Tempered Offshoots! Yes, I've got my comms working! I don't have to use my Overseer anymore! I'm still tinkering with things and figuring it out, but it's going great so far!

AoaS: Actually, there was one "hiccup" in my progress. I may or may not have sent out an emergency broadcast to... well, everyone. You may have gotten it too. I'm fine. I just... misjudged the function of one of the buttons.

AoaS: Anyway, things have been going pretty well here. It's been especially quiet here lately, so DA has taken to exploring. She's currently doing something involving a train on top of my can? I think I'll have to just go up and see what is going on if I don't get a message explaining everything. I do not like the idea of having a train crash through the flimsy ceiling above me.

AoaS: Both the Slugcat and the salamander have been doing wonderful! I haven't seen the Salamander much, though whenever I see it, it looks as healthy as ever. The Slugcat has been doing especially good as of late! It has befriended the Scavengers, and spends more and more time up there with each cycle. I think it has become a part of the tribe! It's a little sad to not see it as often, but I am also happy to know it is thriving up there. I've even been gifted some pearls! There's one about gardening! You might like it! Perhaps I could send it over somehow.

I told you about how I came out of that depressive episode after the ancients left? Well, I'll just say that failsafe got much more use then.

{4TO} Quiet, how's it going!! I'm finally awake, I was really doing my best to get that reset in before the Failsafe kicked in but clearly that didn't work, it took me out like it usually does

{4TO} It's been what, 4, 5 cycles since I last messaged?? Ughh I still feel a bit sluggish, but I'm back now. I actually did better this time than I usually do to! The only thing that needed any urgent repairs this time were parts of my temperature monitoring system, which I mean- right I've been.. you probably don't have much context based on what I've told you, but uhhh I'll just say that just blowing out some thermometers is an improvement

I've all but finished my modifications, I think that's what triggered the failsafe to be honest, I must have decided to try and work on it more instead of just going to sleep after I cut comms. All I have left is to tidy up some wiring and we should be good to go! I'd love to get some sort of live feed going or something when I go out so you can be there, maybe you could get one of your overseers here or something

Two of my Gatherers are on their way back based on what my overseers have shown me, it looks like the translator wasn't with them, I would guess it decided to stay behind?

{4TO} I saw he left me a message I.. well I haven't opened it yet. the last thing I sent him before disappearing for a number of cycles was quite the long winded message.. I.. I mean he was having a reaction and then I started having a reaction and I.. I mean I don't know what to say now. I mean I spilled my guts then promptly disappeared, why would he want anything to do with me at this point?

{4TO} really? That seems like an odd design choice, where are you located?

{4TO} Ooo good question! I'd have to go with batflies. They're a much more diverse group than most realize, and many have developed very specific pollination patterns with specific plants. The most common one is the relationship between the standard batfly and batnip of course, but there are quite a bit kore relations like this if you look for them. If i had to choose a favorite I'd say a very specific batfly species not too far from my can adapted to feed from and pollinate a speciation of flashbang plants. While most creatures of it's size would be killed if it's fruits were to drop and hit the floor while pollinating, these two have developed specific adaptations to prevent that from happening to the batflies. I have a cutting I've been cultivating from that flashbang species in with my other low light species, along with the impressive flower spikes it has developed to protect the batflies from it's fruit it also independently has developed a yellow hue to the light it emits, as opposed to the more common blue

Yes, my can is poor condition. It isn't able to do much nowadays, but I've got some solar panels active, so at least things aren't getting any worse. I don't believe you would have any success in trying to send assistance. My can was built a unusually long distance from most other Iterators, so unless I could see your can from here, there wouldn't be any point. As a little question to get to know you a bit better (if you'd enjoy doing so, that is), what is your favorite creature? I have a hard time choosing favorites, though I think I'd have to say the Salamander. Particularly an orange specimen I've been watching over!

{4TO} I also have free movment within my facility and even outside for a distance, but me and my group had to figure it out ourselves. We came up with a system to wirelessly connect to our cans, aided through overseers transmitting signal to help extend range. It can be quite power intensive though to maintain outside of my facility, I'd love to compare notes to see if I could make any improvements! I've been working on the side on a more efficient energy conversion system in order to-

I suppose they weren't quite as needed since they were taking you out of there anyway, Splatter's good though, I'm sure it figured out a way to help. The translator hasn't come back yet yeah, probably still there, I've been hearing bits and pieces from some of the other translators though (really need to work on my scav signing, I found a file with ancient sign in my database that I've been using as a basis but it seems to differ quite a bit). I'd love to hear more about how you're doing, I'm so glad you're finally out of that death trap of a can, heh
