We know that in Colorado, Grey was around the whole time 47 was there. His guards talk about him, that they saw him going down into the bunker and later he observes 47 from a distance.
And it is kinda funny to me, thinking that the cars parking in front of the house are from Grey and his entourage:
He appears so humble most of the time, but sometimes he is so ✨extra✨. Does he need extra protection? Probably not. But he is the boss. A submarine? Why not! Jumping out of a plane to kill his boss? Woohoo!

Born Name: Damien Quincy Rodriguez
Age: 22
Birthday: May 26th 1998
Overview:
Mother: Catalina Rodriguez (39 February 19th, 1981)
Father(s): Michael Rodriguez (41 April 24th, 1979) Richard “Einstein” Jones (50), Fagin Jones (47)
Mother’s Occupation: Unemployed, Student
Father’s Occupation: Fast Food worker, mechanic, Odd-jobs in a diverse field. Warehouse work, delivery, MLM’s, production, etc.
Family Finances: Lower Class, Skirting Poverty
Other Close Family: Francis “Frankie” Corbyn (41) - ‘Uncle’, Ignacio Alonso Julio Federico De Tito (24) - Big Brother, Oliver Saluki-Sykes (20) - Little Brother, Rita Saluki-Sykes (29) - Sister,
Pets: Dorothy - Redish/pink betta Fish, Tiny - Tito’s Rottweiler/Pitbull Mix
Home Life During Childhood: Before he was found and taken in by Fagin? Horrible. Dodger suffered abuse from parents who were far too young and immature to have children. They didn’t want a kid, and they made that very clear to Dodger from the very moment they brought him home. He was never shown love or compassion from his mother or father. He was barely taken care of and owned one toy in his five or so years of living with them. He suffered emotional and physical abuse and spent many nights on the streets, unsupervised. Often, he was locked out of his house for ‘misbehavior’. Eventually Dodger just decided to stay out there and spent his nights under a bridge before eventually Fagin took notice of him and eventually gained his trust and brought him home.
After Fagin, his childhood was still a little troubled. Their family was poor, and often struggled to find money for food, luxuries or heat. Even struggling, Dodger much preferred his found family as he got to learn what it was like to have people that loved him. Even with debt collectors, facing abuse from the Sykes’ and occasionally needing to eat small inconsistent meals, or cuddle up together instead of having heat in the house. He wouldn’t trade it for the world.
What Did His or Her Bedroom Look Like: When Dodger moved in with Fagin he quickly took over the apartment’s storage loft and claimed it as his own. While it was dangerous (there was no barrier to stop anyone from falling back into the living room below) and a little drafty (there was also a nifty hole that gave him access to the roof) - it was home for Dodger. With a mattress tucked up into the corner and the rickety ladder to get up and down (that he himself rarely used), it was perfect for Dodger. Sure - it wasn’t all the spacious or child-friendly but... it was his favorite.
Any Sports or Clubs: Dodger didn’t go to school - and therefore he didn’t participate in any clubs or organized sports. Instead he went with Frankie to his theater group, spent time reading with Einstein & Fagin or scaled buildings and played made up sports with Tito.
Favorite Toy or Game: Dodger’s favorite toy (and something he still cherishes to this day) was a small teddy bear that Fagin got him the first night he came home. It’s over a decade (closer to two) old and is worn beyond relief, but Dodger still keeps it in his bedroom. As a child he carried it everywhere and was incredibly protective of it. It has plenty of tears and stitches that Fagin fixed himself - but Dodger loves it all the same.
Schooling: Again, Dodger didn’t go to school. He left his home before he would have been enrolled and while Fagin and Einstein tried to get him into school, Dodger simply couldn’t handle the hours away from his new family, nor could he deal with how overwhelming the whole concept was. So instead, they all did their part homeschooling himself and Tito over the years. He’s got plenty of street smarts and owes everything else he knows to Fagin, Einstein and Frankie.
Favorite Subject: Reading with Fagin & Einstein. (And reading plays with Frankie since he was so dramatic)
Popular or Loner: Popular (not in school obvs)
Nationality: American
Religion and beliefs: None
Physical Appearance
Face Claim: Tyler Posey
Movie/Era Representation: Alone
Complexion: Smooth, olive skinned, freckled
Hair Colour: Naturally Black / Currently Dyed Blue
Eye Colour: Brown
Height: 5′10
Weight: 153.4lbs.
Build: Athletic/Slim
Tattoos: A very large and ever growing collection --> See here
Piercings: 14mm Gauges in ears, nose piercing, snake-bites (re-pierced), eyebrow piercing (re-pierced)
Common Hairstyle: Typically sweptback, sometimes a mess when he wears a hat or beanie, usually tries to keep it semi-long, swept to the side (x is a common look)
Clothing Style: Casual street wear. Ratty jeans, ripped jeans, dirty jeans. T-shirts, muscle tanks, sweatshirts. Backwards hats or beanies. Worn black and white converse. Nothing fancy. You’ll tend to see a red bandana somewhere on his person. Sometimes he wears it around his head, sometimes around his neck, occasionally tucked into a pocket or around his wrist. But it’s always somewhere.
Mannerisms: Likes to drum his fingers or drum on things in general, also a knuckle cracker. Tends to move a lot because he’s high energy.
Usual Expression: Smiley babe
Health
Overall (do they get sick easily)?: Yes. A combination of terrible care to himself and drugs makes Dodger extremely susceptible to getting sick. He’s a perfect picture of what not to do health-wise and it shows.
Physical Ailments: Mildly Anemic,
Disorders: None
Neurological Conditions: None.
Allergies: Latex, mangos, cats,
Grooming Habits: He showers, unlike most #men he is not a 3-in-1 kind of guy, so he knows how to use separate body wash, shampoo and conditioner. He’ll wash his face every morning & every night and brush his hair and shit but he’s not over the top. Shaves if his facial hair gets longer than a mild scruff. Keeps the boys tame.
Sleeping Habits: Inconsistent. Dodger has no real sleep schedule, but he tends to sleep just about anywhere when he needs to. He’s the least picky about how he sleeps and falls asleep easy.
Eating Habits: Uh, he eats. Sometimes. Some days it’s eating for a village, some he skips for a day and is like ‘oh yeah oops.’ It depends. So I’d call this inconsistent as well.
Exercise Habits: He’s always exercising just by association. He walks/runs everywhere and climbs shit and is doing his free running/parkour all over Swynlake.
Emotional Stability: Fair. He tends to stay cool and tries to be the mediator when it comes to trouble. Dodger tends to be the one who keeps it together and stays calm when they’re in a situation. The relief, really. However when he does slip, he can get emotional quickly. Fun-fact: Dodger never yells. He may say things firmly, angrily, etc but he won’t yell.
Body Temperature: Runs warm.
Sociability: A social butterfly.
Addictions: Drugs (weed, alcohol, pills, etc).
Drug Use: Daily, addicted. The hard stuff isn’t daily (weed is... multiple times a day), but more every few days, once a week.
Alcohol Use: Often.
Your Character’s Character:
Bad Habits: Drugs. Drumming on objects or idly, cracking his knuckles, zoning out mid-conversation, scratching the back of his neck, smoking, manipulating people.
Good Habits: Loyalty, offering his help, extending manners, being kind.
Best Characteristic: Openness.
Worst Characteristic: Pride
Worst Memory: Being beaten within an inch of his life & having to leave his family and home behind and flee the country.
Best Memory: Being officially adopted as Fagin & Einstein’s son.
Proud of: Holding his job at the garage. Getting his gig at Pixie’s. Still being in a relationship (new record).
Embarrassed by: His inability to get his music off the ground, how he’s still in the same place in life when everyone else seems to be getting somewhere or doing things.
Driving Style: Does not drive.
Strong Points: His passion and drive. His ability to bring things and people together.
Temperament: Carefree and easy going.
Attitude: Optimistic & outgoing.
Weakness: Coming off as too confident, cocky.
Fears: Being abandoned/being alone again, his family getting hurt or dying.
Phobias: Being abandoned.
Secrets: An open book. Perhaps the one secret he has is knowing that Roscoe abused Oliver.
Regrets: Going to William Sykes and trying to buy them time to pay back their loan.
Feels Vulnerable When: He’s with his parents.
Pet Peeves: People who brag about their money. Charities, but not charity.
Conflicts: Having money in the family. Having Roscoe married to Rita when he fucking hates him but wants Rita to be happy.
Motivation: Support for Fagin & Einstein/to make them proud.
Short Term Goals and Hopes: To start picking up more gigs and getting music off the ground.
Long Term Goals and Hopes: To be able to fully financially support himself and the fam through his music and that he can quit his real job and do what he loves.

Favorite Saying: Absotively Posilutely
Color: Red
Clothing: Jeans, T-shirts.
Jewelry: Gauges, lip rings, nose ring, eyebrow stud.

Websites: Not a huge internet person (because he didn’t grow up into it like most kids his age). He uses Twitter a lot though. Youtube just to watch things. Used to use the ‘Hub’ quite a bit ;)
TV Shows: Doesn’t really watch TV, but when they could pay for cable, anything ridiculous. He was a fan of the Crocodile Hunter if only because Tito and himself would mimic that show and get into so much trouble.
Movies: Again, he’s not really well versed in movies but.. I’m sure he was into shit he wasn’t supposed to watch when he could get ahold of them. Fight Club, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, etc.
Greatest Want: To be happy & with his family.
Greatest Need: Affection.
Where and How Does Your Character Live Now:
Home: Dodger now lives in Benbow (2D) and honestly his biggest complaint is simply being on the second floor. He would much prefer an apartment he has to climb higher to break into (since who uses the door?). However, he doesn’t like the apartment nearly as much as he loved the old rickety apartment they lived in back home. He misses his loft and all the weird things that made it perfect. This apartment isn’t terrible - sure, the door sticks something fierce and it’s a little cramped for five people but... it’s fine. And the neighbors aren’t the worst, it’s just... never felt right. It’s still home, if only because home is determined by the people living there more than the place itself.
Household furnishings: A mish-mash of things. Nothing in the Jones household is a set. It’s all second-hand or used items that they got when they could and when they could afford to. That means everything from the tables and chairs don’t really.. match like they might in a normal household, but none of them really mind. They’re just grateful to have them in the first place.
Favorite Possession: The bear Fagin got him when he first came home.
Most Cherished Possessions: The bear Fagin got him when he first came home (shocker) - though a worn red bandana that he took from Fagin also comes in close second. He’s almost always wearing it somewhere. Also the stuffed Reindeer from his first Christmas. The beat up guitar that the whole gang pulled together to get him.
Neighborhood: Benbow
Town or City Name: Swynlake
Relationship with Family: Great! Dodger is incredibly close with his found family. He would lay his life on the line or do anything for all of them. He’s closest to Fagin, but only because that man gave him everything in life he’s ever needed when no one else would. He loves his family so much though. Even if he annoys the absolute piss out of Frankie & Rita, he couldn’t be happier.
Car: Doesn’t have one
Career: Part-Time Mechanic, Part-Time Musician, Part-Time Con-artist/thief
Dream Career: Musician
Dream Life: Happy & can provide and take care of his family so they don’t have to work so hard anymore.
Love Life: Peri
Talents or Skills: Singing, Guitar, Percussion, Piano - musical talent in mostly all forms, athletic ability/balance, can juggle, sleight of hand, pitch perfect.
Intelligence Level: Street smart, book....slightly smart.
Finances: Poor as fuck
Past Careers: Full time thief, part time street performer, odd jobs,
Past Lovers: ‘Lovers’, none really. The closest he had was a toxic first ‘boyfriend’, Corey but it didn’t last long.

Jester Winters
Name: Jester Winters Nickname: Jesse, Jess Age: 21 Birthday: 13th December Gender: Male Sexuality: closet Bisexual Species: Human Appearance: (Face-claim: dimatabu)
Clothing: Jester prefers to wear comfortable things and therefore often just wears his work-out clothes, of course only when they’re washed and not smelling of sweat. Besides, he also loves cool clothes, which means for him, things from sports brands for which he normally has to save a lot of pocket money. Height: 1,84 m Tattoos: on the right side of his neck, on his chest Personality: Jesse is the cliché of a popular jock, he’s arrogant and stuck up just because of the plain reasons that he’s athletic and therefore has quite a muscular body, making many shallow girls fancy him quite a lot. At the same time, the boy can be very aggressive when something unpleasant happens to him no matter how small this thing may be and mostly lets his frustration out on preferable guys who are weaker and less popular them him. However, surprisingly the reason for his anger issues isn’t his missing intelligence, to be honest, Jester is a very clever boy not only because he is a good listener when he wants to be but also because it’s easy for him to connect stuff he already knowns with the things he just learned. This results in Jesse finding quite well ways to get out of sticky situations and making up believable lies like it was nothing. Unfortunately, Jesse just uses his intelligence to get out of an uncomfortable situation and rarely to think his actions trough beforehand because he’s an extremely careless boy who thinks he's invincible. It’s also very hard for Jester to relate to other people’s emotions, making him come across like a cold-hearted asshole. For some reason though, all of these characteristics make other girls who care more about personality have a thing for Jester as well because they wish and think they are able to change him and turn him into a better man, this, however, only results in their heart being broken and Jesse’s ego getting even bigger, knowing he can woo whomever he wants even though his personality is mostly shit. The only people, Jester seems to be nice to are his father, older brother and his best friends. These are the people he cares for after all and hence treats better than strangers, less than being overly polite and friendly, however, he tries to be at least respectful, helpful and not insult them… too much at least. Relationships: Rita Orr – mother; 46 years old; married; accountant Gina Z. Orr – step-mother; 52 years old; married; CEO Aaron Winters – father; 47 years old; divorced; clerk Jean Winters – older brother; 23 years old; unknown Kate J. Rich – older step-sister; 27 years old; taken; nurse Ruben Orr – younger step-brother; 18 years old; single; High School student Likes: the family of his father’s side, sport, action movies, mango milkshakes, doing sport in the morning, risky situations, his stupid ideas working out, spending time with his brother, black jack twenty-one, sex Dislikes: the new family of his mother, his glasses, fighting with his parents, seemingly always making wrong decisions, self-centred people, being a burden, being too poor to finance college should he lose his scholarship, missing the football training, being insecure because of his poor eyesight, most cheerleaders Hobbies: football, swimming, going to the cinema with his friends, flirting, surfing, soccer, collecting caps with the logo of his favourite sports teams on them Occupation: Student Position: Top Virgin: No Turn-ons: making-out, vocal partners, dry humping, dirty talk, doing it at risky places, being scratched Turn-offs: degrading, sex toys, overstimulation, choking, food play, his partner letting him do all the work Other:
prefers to be called Jesse
is nearly blind without his glasses or contact lenses
fears that he will lose his scholarship
is the quarterback of his college’s football team
picked up the habits of drinking and smoking because of his father
rejects his feelings for boys because of his hatred towards his homosexual mother
Backstory: Jesse’s family never had much money and therefore couldn’t afford a luxuries lifestyle. However, the money was always enough to get by and let the children go to a proper school and study, so at least they could afford to have a better life one day. Unfortunately, to achieve this goal for their children, Jester’s parents were only rarely home, his mother was working two jobs while his father worked long hours. Thanks to this Jean and Jesse had to learn to be independent at an early age, making food for themselves and their parents once they came home, cleaning the house if it looked really bad and disgusting once again, buying groceries, washing their own clothes and so on. However, Jesse’s somewhat enjoyable and normal life was destroyed when he was only nine. His father lost his job because the company he worked for got bankrupt. Afterwards, it was hard to make the little money they had work and for their father to find a job once again. Even after years passed by, the man still hadn’t found anything and picked up the habit of smoking and heavy drinking. Jesse’s mother had enough, not only was she never home but her useless husband didn’t even manage to take care of the kids and just wasted the money she earned. One night after a heavy argument, the woman left only to return the next day, wanting a divorce. To the boys’ shock, their father agreed and not even a half year later, they moved out of their old house and into a much nicer neighbourhood. It turned out their mother had an affair with her boss for over a year now and actually planned on leaving her husband to move in with her girlfriend since a while before the divorce actually happened. Unfortunately, Jesse didn’t see his new life as anything but terrible, he hated his mother for leaving their father while he was at his all time low. She was a heartless bitch for him, ever since. However, that wasn’t even the worst problem, his new step-mother had two kids from her old marriage and Jester absolutely loathed them with all his heart, he generally disliked everything his new, second mom just even looked at, especially made or bought. His older brother felt the same, as he often told Jesse, he just didn’t show it as obvious as the younger boy did who tended to tick off because of the simplest of things. It was difficult for the two brothers to adjust to the situation and honestly, they never really wanted to. While Jean only got closed-off and locked himself in his room all the time, Jesse began getting violate, especially towards his younger step-brother whom his second mother adored. Because he bullied him, he always got in conflicts with his new sister, a too overprotective girl for the young boy’s taste. Those were the only moments when he actually felt that his mother noticed him since living in the new house. The two women couldn’t accept his behaviour for long and soon put him into therapy for his "anger issues", as they liked to call it. To their dismay, it didn’t seem to work for a long time, only when Jean left one night without leaving any traces or telling anyone, Jester slowly began opening up to his therapist, but still not to his new family. One day after years of living this terrible fake-perfect life, Jesse met his father again, who got cut off by their mother once they moved out. Slowly the two of them started talking and Jesse got informed that his father found a new job a few years ago and had a somewhat comfortable life now, just he missed his sons so much. Their mother never told him where she moved to and even changed her number to keep her ex-husband away from her children, thinking he was a bad influence to them. Something whe was right with because the elderly man didn’t stop drinking nor smoking and therefore would have been quite the bad role model. However, Jesse didn’t care, he just wanted to get away from his current life and asked to move in with him. Luckily his dad immediately agreed, now Jester only had to inform his mother about him moving out. Obviously, the woman was less than happy about the news but on the other side, there would probably be a lot less trouble once Jesse moved out of the house. In the end, his mother agreed to her son moving in with his father, but she had a few conditions; Jester had to promise to continue to go to therapy and school and visit her at least once in a week and tell her everything that happened during his week. Even though Jesse thought meeting his mother ever again was terrible, he still agreed, so he could get out of there as fast as possible.

13 Off-the-Beaten-Path Things to See and Do in Paris
Posted: 6/24/2019 | June 24th, 2019
Paris is filled with famous attractions: the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Versailles, the catacombs, the Pantheon, the Arc de Triomphe, Sacre-Coeur. The list goes on. There are so many amazing sites here that you could spend days (heck, even weeks) just seeing the main, most well-known ones.
But there’s more to Paris than the sites that attract thousands upon thousands of visitors each day. While I was living Paris the past few months, I made it my mission to see some of the more unusual, lesser-known (but equally awesome) attractions (that didn’t coming with the aggravating crowds that make so many of Paris’ attractions unbearable).
And, while some of the things on the list below might not be “super secret” attractions or activities, they do fall into the category of “over looked attractions” so I included them.
Here are some of the best off-the-beaten-path things to see and do in Paris:
1. Le Manoir de Paris
This is where macabre museum meets haunted house. Numerous rooms highlight some of the more unsettling aspects of Paris’s long and often dark past, such as the Phantom of the Opera, vampires, or the crocodiles in the sewers. Using real actors as well as animatronics, the city’s gruesome and unsettling history is brought to life in an interesting way. In addition to their museum, they also have escape rooms as well as different levels of intensity depending on how scared you get!
18 Rue de Paradis, +33 6 70 89 35 87, lemanoirdeparis.com. Open Fridays 6pm-9:30pm and weekends 3pm-6:30pm. Admission is 29 EUR for adults and 20 EUR for children 10-15.
2. Musée Édith Piaf
Édith Piaf is perhaps the most famous French singer from the 1930s to the 1960s, and know around the world for her song La vie en rose and Non, je ne regrette rien (which appeared in the movie Inception). She lived in a little apartment in the Ménilmontant district at the start of her career, which has been turned into tiny museum dedicated to her. You get a glimpse at her life through her gold and platinum records, photographs, clothing, letters from fans, posters, recordings, and sheet music.
5 Rue Crespin du Gast, +33 1 43 55 52 72. Open Monday-Wednesday 1pm-6pm and Thursdays 10am-12pm. Admission is free, but you’ll need to make an appointment. You’ll also want to either speak decent French or go with someone who does.
3. Musée Curie
Marie Curie was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize (and the only woman to win it twice) for her research into radioactivity (a word that she invented). She was the first female professor at the University of Paris as well as the first woman to be entombed in the Panthéon on her own merits. Located in the 5th arrondissement, this museum, in her old laboratory, highlights her radiological research. It’s insightful and eye-opening for anyone unfamiliar with her historic discoveries.
1 Rue Pierre et Marie Curie, +33 1 56 24 55 33, musee.curie.fr. Open Wednesday-Saturday 1pm-5pm. Admission is free.
4. Archives Nationales
Opened in 1867, the National Archives houses thousands of historical documents dating back to 625 CE. One of six national archives in the country, the museum sheds light on France’s turbulent past, providing nuanced historical details and context through permanent and temporary exhibitions.
Built by the order of Napoleon I, the building itself (known as the Hôtel de Soubise) is absolutely stunning. It is in the late Baroque style, embracing long columns and lots of statues and sculptures. It features immaculate grounds and gardens as well. They always hold a lot of good exhibitions too.
59 Rue Guynemer, +33 1 75 47 20 02, archives-nationales.culture.gouv.fr/en. Open Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm. Admission is 8 EUR per person.
5. The Gallery of Paleontology and Comparative Anatomy
Opened in 1898, this museum is home to over 1,000 animal skeletons from around the world, including complete skeletons of elephants, large cats, and even dinosaurs. It’s as interesting as it is unsettling: all the animals are facing the same way, making it look like you’re in the midst of some undead stampede!
2 Rue Buffon, +33 1 40 79 56 01, http://bit.ly/2B0lruZ. Open daily 10am-6pm (closed Tuesdays). Admission is free.
6. The Vampire Museum
Paris has a long history with the esoteric, one that is brought to life in this fascinating (if not macabre) museum founded by an eccentric scholar to showcase his knowledge of the undead and esoteric. Here you’ll find vampire-killing kits, rare texts on demonology, and mysterious ancient relics. It’s a busy, eclectic, creepy museum that’s a feast for the eyes and one worthy of a visit if you’re at all interested in more obscure (and fanciful) tales. It’s a fun little, kitsch museum.
14 Rue Jules David, +33 1 43 62 80 76, artclips.free.fr/musee_des_vampires/MuseeVampires1.html. You’ll need to make an appointment in advance by phone. (Don’t worry if the voicemail greeting is in French — the curator speakers perfect English).
7. Petite Ceinture
In use from 1862 through 1964, the railway circling Paris was abandoned when the city expanded beyond its limits. It’s mostly hidden behind buildings and covered in wild plants and grass now, though some sections are now officially open to the public. You’ll find all sorts of flowers and street art along the tracks.
While some sections are illegal to visit, near Parc Georges Brassens you’ll find a section of the tracks known as the ‘Passage de la Petite Ceinture’ that is both free and legal to visit. It’s located in the 15e arrondissement.
8. The Salvador Dalí Sundial
This surrealist sundial was created by world-renowned artist Salvador Dalí. Located on Rue Saint-Jacques, it’s is a mix of a human face and a scallop shell (the symbol of the Camino to Santiago, since the street is named after the saint). While the sundial doesn’t actually work, it’s nevertheless an easy way to see a piece of artwork by one of the most famous artists in the world.
27 Rue Saint-Jacques. Open 24/7 with no admission.
9. Montmartre Cemetery
While the Père Lachaise Cemetery is the largest and most popular in Paris, for a more secluded stroll, check out the Montmartre Cemetery. Plenty of people visit the top of Montmartre for Sacré-Coeur and the view, but few take the time to wander this cemetery sitting at the foot of the district. It opened in 1825 and is home to many cobwebbed mausoleums, as well as a handful of stray cats. You won’t see many people here, so you can explore in peace.
20 Avenue Rachel, +33 1 53 42 36 30, paris.fr/equipements/cimetiere-de-montmartre-5061. Open Monday-Friday 8am-6pm, Saturdays 8:30am-6pm, and Sundays 9am-6pm.
10. The Museum of Counterfeiting
Opened in 1972, this museum is home to counterfeit items that have been collected by France’s customs agents and police (as well as donated items from brands and consumers alike). There are over 500 items in the museum, ranging from counterfeit art and luxury goods to more mundane items, like cleaning supplies. While some knockoffs are impressive in their duplicity, it’s also funny to see just how bad some counterfeiters were!
16 Rue de la Faisanderie, +33 1 56 26 14 03, musee-contrefacon.com. Open Monday-Saturday 2pm-5:30pm. Admission is 6 EUR per person for adults and 5 EUR for students and seniors.
11. Promenade Planteé (Coulée verte René-Dumont)
This tree-lined walkway is a greenbelt that extends almost 5km along the old Vincennes railway line. The railway line ceased functioning in 1969, with the park being inaugurated a few decades afterward. Until New York built their High Line, it was the only elevated park in the entire world. (And, honestly, this is way nicer the the NYC High Line). You’ll find lots of trees, flowers, ponds, and places to sit along this long path that stretches from Bastile to the edge of Paris. It’s al ong really easy and beautiful walk. You won’t find many people here. Even on a nice day, it’s rather empty. It quickly became one of my favorite things to do in Paris and I can’t recommend coming here enough!
1 Coulée verte René-Dumont (12th arrondissement). Open daily from 8am-9:30pm. Admission is free.
12. Canal Saint-Martin
Stretching 4.5km, the Canal Saint-Martin is a man-made waterway commissioned by Napoleon. Construction finished in 1825, connecting the Canal de l’Ourcq to the Seine via both above ground locks and underground tunnels. While not any secret spot (on a nice day, you’ll find the canal lined with people), it’s mostly a spot for locals who want to have a picnic and relax. So, say no to the Siene, and come have your outdoor picnic along the canal. It’s more relaxing and there will be fewer people!
The canal starts at Place de Stalingrad and ends at Quai de la Râpée. Canal cruises last 2.5 hours and cost around 16 EUR per person.
13. Museé de Montmartre
Founded in 1960, this museum is located throughout two building that date back to the 17th century. Over the years, the buildings were home to many famous writers and painters. The gardens of the museum were actually renovated to look more like the gardens in Renoir’s paintings (there is also a vineyard nearby that dates back to the Middle Ages but it makes horrible wine). The museum’s permanent collection includes a wide variety of paintings, posters, and drawings.
12 Rue Cortot, +33 1 49 25 89 39, museedemontmartre.fr/en/le-musee. Open daily from 10am-6pm (7pm in the summer). Admission is 12 EUR for adults, which includes an audio guide. Discounts are available for students, children, and persons with disabilities.

Book Your Accommodation You can book your hostel with Hostelworld. If you want to stay somewhere other than a hostel, use Booking.com as they consistently return the cheapest rates for guesthouses and cheap hotels. I use them all the time. Some of my favorite places to stay in Paris are:
St. Christopher’s Canal – Comfy spot on the canal. During the summer months, the terrace is hopping!
3 Ducks Hostel – This hostel has one of the cheapest bars in the city, and it’s just a 10-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower.
Les Piaules – Fantastic chimney lounge, a cool bar, and a rooftop space. It’s a great place to meet people!
Don’t Forget Travel Insurance Travel insurance will protect you against illness, injury, theft, and cancellations. It’s comprehensive protection in case anything goes wrong. I never go on a trip without it as I’ve had to use it many times in the past. I’ve been using World Nomads for ten years. My favorite companies that offer the best service and value are:
World Nomads (for everyone below 70)
Insure My Trip (for those over 70)

T H E B A S I C S Given Name: Noah James Mayfair Nicknames: He doesn’t really have any. Age: Twenty-one Birthday: May 14th Zodiac Sign: Taurus Birthplace: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada Current Location: See Above Speaks: English, plus bits and pieces of many other languages~ Dominant Hand: Ambidextrous Education: Finished high school, then decided to take some time to “find himself” before college. He still isn’t sure what he wants to do with his life, though. Occupation: He works in his mother’s flower shop. He has always had a natural affinity for plants and flowers (unsurprisingly), so it’s been a great fit for him. Vehicle: He just walks, or takes an Uber/hitches a ride from a friend if he’s going somewhere further away. Worldly Possessions: A lot of clothes. Pet(s): A giant Maine Coon kitty named Tigger. He spoils Tigger rotten and likes to carry him everywhere when he’s at home~
A P P E A R A N C E Height: 5’9” Hair: Long-ish, dark, with a lot of volume and curl to it. It’s very bouncy and floppy, and he likes to toss it around a lot, especially if he’s flirting with someone. Facial Hair: He likes to be clean shaven at all times. Eye Colour: Bluish-gray, hazel in certain lighting. Skin Tone: Slightly tan, since he likes to out in the sun. But he uses sunscreen religiously, so he’s not SUPER tan. Clothing: Noah is very into fashion and tends to be quite picky about his clothes. He only likes natural fabrics and is willing to spend more to get the quality he wants. He’s quite a classy dresser and always looks very put-together. The only exception being when he works in his garden - then he just dresses for comfort. Even when he’s hanging out at home/sleeping, he wears fancy pajama sets, or he might wear 100% cotton pants and no shirt. Distinguishing Marks: None to speak of - no scars or tattoos or anything like that. Face Claim: Timothee Chalamet
H E A L T H Physical Health: Very good for the most part. He used to have problems with asthma when he was kid, but now he only has the occasional asthma attack - they’re very few and far between, but he always has his inhaler just in case. Physical Abilities/Limitations: He is excellent with all types of plants and flowers. He has a garden at home filled with vegetables and flowers, which he sells at a farmers market stand and in his mother’s flower shop. Noah is also a very good cook, and especially likes cooking and baking with things he’s grown himself. He cooks dinner for his family almost every night. Addictions: Attention~~ Allergies: None, although excessive amounts of cigarette smoke will sometimes set off an asthma attack. Mental Health: He’s very well-adjusted. But he does have some issues with seasonal depression, and tends to get sad and be more emotional and tired during winter. I'm sure having Rowan around will help him some, though~
H I S T O R Y Summary: Noah has lived a peaceful, charmed life up until this point. Surrounded by family that dotes on him, provided with any luxury he could ask for, he has never dealt with any real hardship. Although finding out the “family secret” threw him for a loop, it didn’t end up affecting his life much. He’s just continued with his life as usual, comfortable but a little aimless. Job History: Thanks to his natural interest/ability with flowers, he was allowed to start helping around the flower shop when he was sixteen. That’s the only job he’s ever had, and he’s been trusted with a lot more responsibility round there now.
C O M M U N I C A T I O N Speech Pace/Style: He is a smooth talker - hardly ever stutters, always quick with a joke or a comeback. Even when he’s nervous, he projects an air of confidence. Accent: Canadian, but not the really silly sounding accent~ Usual Curse Words: Any and all.
P E R S O N A L I T Y, M I N D S E T, A N D B E L I E F S Personality Type: ENFP-A Sense of Humor: Honestly, it’s not easy to make Noah laugh. He smiles a lot, and he likes to joke around, but he doesn’t laugh unless something really strikes him as funny. Anyone who can make him laugh is worth keeping around, in his opinion. Habits: He cracks his knuckles a lot. He also has a habit of lightly touching people on the arm/shoulder/face when he wants their attention. He hums and sings to himself whenever he works in his garden, or when he's cooking/baking. Quirks: Noah is extremely flirty, with both men and women, and is very good at getting people to do favours for him as a result. And when he doesn’t get what he wants, he can be a bit pouty, though he;s not one to dwell on things and gets over his disappointments quickly. He is kind of a diva, and can be very picky. He wants what he wants when he wants it, though he does his best to curb his desires and keep himself in check. He doesn’t mean to be demanding. But nevertheless, he is a high-maintenance person who loves attention and being spoiled. For as much of a brat as Noah can be, he is also a generous person who will gladly give someone the shirt off his back if they truly need it. He is especially generous with his talents, giving flowers and food and baked goods to his loved ones and neighbours on a regular basis. Fears/Phobias: He would be reluctant to admit it, but he is afraid of the ocean, and always avoids going to the beach for that reason. He is also freaked out by natural disasters of any kind, and the idea of nuclear war. He has nightmares about things like that. Self-Esteem: Too good. Someone should probably take him down a notch~ Religion: He pretty much never thinks about religion. It’s just not important to him at all.
R A N D O M Sleeping Position: When he’s alone, he sprawls out like a starfish. But when he’s with someone, he likes to spoon - whether he’s the big spoon or the little spoon. Boxers or Briefs?: He has both. As long as they’re made of quality fabric, he’ll wear them. Day or Night?: He likes both, but is more of a morning person. Top or Bottom?: Either is just fine with him, though he generally prefers to bottom. Partying or Relaxing?: That would be an extremely difficult decision for him. He loves parties, but he also loves quiet nights in, or days spent focusing on his garden.
R E L A T I O N S H I P S Closest Friend: His younger sister, Corinne. She’s only one year younger than him and they’ve been close their entire lives. They pretty much tell each other everything. Relationship History: He has never had a long-term relationship, though he’s always liked the idea of it. He’s just had a couple of flings and one very short-lived relationship. Sexual Partners: Three - and lucky for him, all of those experiences were good. Thoughts About Sex: It’s on his mind a lot - but his standards are high and he won’t sleep with just anyone. He isn’t opposed to casual sex, it just has to be with the right person.
P A R E N T S Name(s): Joseph and Natalie Mayfair Age(s): 47 and 44 Occupation(s): Engineer and Flower shop owner Quality of Relationship With Their Children: Excellent. They love both of their children very much, and are a tight-knit family. Living/Deceased: Both living.
S I B L I N G S Name(s): Corinne Mayfair Age(s): 20 Occupation(s): College student, part-time waitress. Quality of Relationship: They are best friends, trust each other with/tell each other everything, know everything about each other, etc.
D A I L Y L I F E Living Arrangements: Noah still lives with his parents and sister. They have a fairly big, very lovely house, and they are all happy living together. Noah has thought about getting his own place, but he has his garden and everything in the backyard, plus he loves his parents, so he’s in no rush to move out.

How to Master the Delicate Art of the Do-Nothing Winter Vacation
It’s a request travel experts get more often than you think: What if a person wants to go somewhere wintry, and do … nothing?
Sure, the snow and cold weather offer plenty of active delights: skiing, sledding, trekking, ice fishing. But let the masses head to ski resorts and the hardcore head off into the backcountry. For a certain set, it’s other things they’re after: dog sled rides, solving puzzles, going to concert performances, racking up some serious hot tub time, and just parking one’s self in front of the fire. Thanks to the destinations below, you can do all that and less while wrapped in the lap of luxury.
Go Storm Chasing on Vancouver Island
From November through February, 30-foot swells and gale-force winds lash the western shores of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, putting on an awesome show for guests at the Wickaninnish Inn. The Wick, as regulars call it, was designed for storm watching, a favorite childhood pastime of the owner. Each of the 75 rooms has unobstructed Pacific views, a gas fireplace, and a soaking tub. Intrepid guests can don ponchos and wellies and experience a “west coast facial,” which occurs when the rain goes sideways in the wind and massages your face as you walk along Chesterman Beach. Too intense? Book a Pacific Sea Salt Glow facial at the Ancient Cedars Spa and Zen out to the sound of crashing waves. From $340.
Live Your Most Cultured Life in Bavaria
Schloss Elmau brings the best of New York or Berlin to a tranquil valley in the Bavarian Alps in southern Germany. The unique resort—composed of a 162-room, family-friendly hotel, a 47-suite retreat, and six spas—is the ultimate digital detox. Its world-class concert hall hosts 200 performances a year (with tickets included in the room rate), including a popular Chamber Music Festival each January and literary talks from authors such as Ian McEwan and T.C. Boyle. Though the hotel offers Apple TV and high speed Wi-Fi, why not unplug your devices and chill out in the three libraries and on-site bookstore instead? From $260, including cultural events.

Mush With Huskies in Alaska
There’s nothing cozy about the Alaskan wilderness, unless you’re staying in one of the five knotty pine guest cabins at Winterlake Lodge. Operated by the Dixon family, this remote retreat is set on 15 acres overlooking a frozen lake and primarily accessible by seaplane. The lodge has its own team of huskies, and Carl Dixon gives mushing tutorials, but he’ll happily take the reins while guests enjoy views from the sleigh. Head into the wild on a helicopter safari in search of elk, moose, caribou, and badgers, then return to pre-dinner wine and cheese by the fire. Carl’s wife, Kirsten, is an award-winning chef, so save room for her multi-course dinners of reindeer tenderloin with duck fat potatoes and mushroom-and-truffle gnocchi. From $4,370 for two nights, including meals, activities, and one helicopter adventure.
Master Woodworking in the Italian Alps
Fashion-industry veterans Giorgia and Stefano Barbini reimagined a 16th century hunting lodge in Italy’s Dolomites as a luxurious mountain escape for friends. Now San Lorenzo Lodge, their exclusive, four-room chalet, mixes classic alpine decor with updated touches such as underfloor heating and a spruce sauna. In the winter, Stefano hosts woodcarving workshops and leads moonlit snowshoe tours. This being Italy, though, food is at the heart of the experience. Each evening, Giorgia prepares a feast of regional recipes, which Stefano pairs with wine from the stable-turned-1,500-bottle cellar. From $3,195 per day for up to six guests.
Wax Poetic on Whiskey in Tennessee
Set on a 4,200-acre estate at the foothills of Tennessee’s Smoky Mountains, Blackberry Farm is the perfect place to hibernate for a winter weekend. With a working farm, craft brewery, and one of the deepest wine collections in America (160,000-plus bottles) this is foodie nirvana. Leisurely days start with digging into fluffy egg-topped cheese grits and crispy bacon while watching the fog roll across the mountains. Read in a rocking chair, get pampered at the Wellhouse Spa, or sign up for a winter-enrichment weekend focused on such obsessions as puzzling or photography. Evenings revolve around fancy farm-to-table meals in a restored barn and often end with a nightcap of Pappy van Winkle by the fire in the Hickory Room. From $695, including meals.
Watch Ice Drift in Newfoundland
Fogo Island, located off the northern coast of Newfoundland, is about as off-the-grid as one can get. Its austere landscape is even more extraordinary in the winter, when the 29-suite Fogo Island Inn becomes a haven for artists, foodies, and burnt-out urbanites looking for rest and relaxation. Guests looking to connect with nature can track caribou by snowshoe or, in March, view giant sheets of ice floating down Iceberg Alley from Greenland to the North Atlantic. An artist-in-residency program and a 37-seat cinema satisfy cultural cravings, while rooftop hot tubs are meant for meditative star-gazing sessions. From $1,429.
Solve a Murder Mystery in Vermont
Located just a half-hour’s drive from the major ski resorts in southern Vermont, Twin Farms feels like an elevated take on the classic New England bed-and-breakfast. Its famous soufflé pancakes are reason alone to book a stay. A main lodge, housed in an 18th century farmhouse, features four rooms decorated with vintage flags, antique quilts, and other Americana. Sixteen individually designed cottages are scattered across the 300-acre grounds, all with fieldstone fireplaces and screened-in porches. Guests can go sledding out the door then thaw out in the spa’s Japanese furo, a type of sleek, wooden bathtub. For a more social stay, check out the inn’s Art of A Vermont Winter event series, which includes furniture-making workshops with local woodworker Thomas Shackleton and murder mystery weekends. From $1,500, all-inclusive.
Try Ice Fishing with Cowboys in Montana
Dude ranches are best known for action-fueled summer activities. When the snow falls, rates drop and the pace slows. At Triple Creek Ranch, an adults-only, all-inclusive property in Montana’s Bitterroot Range, the focus shifts from cattle drives and horseback riding to snowshoeing and ice fishing. Couples hunker down in log cabins equipped with wood-burning fireplaces and, in most cases, hot tubs; oftentimes, they don’t reappear until dinner. Meals at the Relais & Châteaux-approved restaurant (think wagyu beef with caramelized fennel home fries, paired with a rare Bordeaux) are a highlight of every stay. From $1,050.

this is fuck-mothering huge
1. If you didn't have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? My best friend and I talk about this all the time. I’d spend a shitload more time on my hobbies, probably. Literally just write/play guitar/work out all the time. Also probably drink a lot more too, so maybe it’s good that sleep is necessary.
2. What is your favorite piece of clothing you own / owned? I’m actually not sure. I like my band T-shirts, but I don’t think I have a favorite. Maybe my camo pants since they’re actual army fatigues and they’re comfy as fuck and have like four thousand pockets.
3. What hobby would you pick up if time & money weren't an issue? Stunt driving, probably. I’ve been drifting a few times and it’s fun as fuck but I don’t have the car for it. A Solara is not meant to do that shit.
4. What does your perfect room look like? Something with a big ass window overlooking a forest that I can shut with panels so my room is completely dark, and one of those crazy fucking beds that has a TV built into it. Also shitloads of band and boxing posters and a metric fuck-ton of anime figures and dragon statues and other such nerdy shit in a display case. Also a cat somewhere, and my girlfriend curled up next to me.
5. How often do you play sports? I don’t. I’m not really into sports at all, except for boxing and some football.
6. What fictional place would you like to visit? There are many. Hogwarts/Hogsmeade, Cairhien, Misaki Town, Fuyuki City, Aincrad, Akihabara (the one from Log Horizon, I know that’s actually a real city as well you smartass), literally anywhere in the Dragon Universe, Destiny Islands, Hollow Bastion, there are so fucking many.
7. What job would you be terrible at? Anything that involves a lot of pressure. I like cooking, but I could never work as a chef. The stress would crack me instantly.

10. What is the most annoying habit that you or other people have? I do that leg bouncing thing all the time, it pisses people off.
11. What job do you think you'd be really good at? Honestly I think I’d be a good therapist. I’m a fucked up person so I understand where most people are coming from, I love making people feel better, and I’m not one to think someone else’s feelings aren’t valid just because someone somewhere has it worse.
12. What skill would you like to master? Guitar. I know I’m good, but I’m nowhere near a master.
13. What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? Anything involving hikes in places like those you see on the crazy nature pictures on here. Those things make me hate living in shitty Tennessee.
14. If you had unlimited funds to build a house to live on for the rest of your life, what would the finished house look like? Probably two floors and a basement, Victorian style, somewhere surrounded by wilderness. A garage, a storm cellar, I’m not gonna sit here and describe the interior but it would be fancy but not stuffy or pretentious, just obviously very well-to-do. I like nice things, sue me.
