1974 Pontiac Firebird Formula 455 (Lansdale, Pa) $34,900 obo
You are looking at a very rare vehicle with less than 1k produced. This Formula 455 is extremely clean from the beautiful Emerald green metallic to the sharp looking black vinyl interior. Powered by a professionally built 455cu v8 pushing out 500hp and an automatic transmission, this car has more than enough performance and reliability left in it with only 100 miles on the fresh engine. Features include but are not limited to P/s, P/b, Am/Fm, tires with excellent tread, ceramic coated headers, Summit ignition, and a Flowmaster exhaust system. This Pontiac is very straight without a speck of rust to be found, the car has been meticulously maintained and garage kept throughout its life. The owner is already being flexible with the price but he is also willing to consider reasonable offers due to health reasons.

1970 Buick GSX Stage 1 From Mecum
By Dave Ashton
VIN: 446370H276890 Engine: 455ci./360 HP Transmission: Turbo Hydra-Matic Automatic Color: Saturn Yellow
Buick have always been renowned for their luxury and comfort, so why not produce a high-performance version which came in the form of the Gran Sport. The GSX was based on the Skylark with the GS 455 high performance package starting in 1970 as a $1,100 option. $115 got you the stage 1 option.
1970 only had two color options for the GSX of Saturn Yellow and Apollo White with only a black interior. This one which is coming up for auction at Mecum in Los Angeles, FEB 16-17 2018, LOT S139, is a numbers matching yellow version in tiptop condition. As you would expect from a entry at Mecum its in glorious condition, but what is lacking is any details about its back history and any documentation that comes with the car.
However, it does have all the distinctive features of a 1970 Buick GSX Stage 1, with the full body black stripe and rear spoiler. Standard on the car were the floor shifter, black bucket seats, anti-sway bars, quick ratio steering and and rear and quad-link suspension. This one has the options of automatic transmission and A/C.
The huge 455cu. V-8 was the standout feature with cast nodular-iron crankshaft, cast-aluminum pistons, forged-steel connecting rods. The stage 1 had 2.12/1.75-inch intake/exhaust valves with a more aggressive camshaft. The compression was also increased from 10.0:1 to 10.5:1. The mecum listing gives a horsepower rating of 360, while others say it could be closer to 395 hp and a possible 510-lb.ft. of torque. This Hemmings link gives you a full rundown of the car’s specs.
In prime condition this stage 1 could probably fetch around $130-$140k and stands as a prime example of the pinnacle from the classic era of muscle cars.

1973 Buick Riviera Hardtop (Chester, Pa) $27,500 obo
You are looking at an absolutely stunning 73 Riviera that looks gorgeous in a newer burnt orange paint scheme, the paint flows seamlessly inside to an extremely clean beige cloth/vinyl interior combination. Powered by the number's matching 455cu v8 and 3spd automatic transmission, you will not be disappointed in reliability or performance as this vehicle has just been freshly tuned up. Features include but are not limited to P/L, P/seats, P/w, P/b, new Cooper white letter tires, electronic ignition, a lowered stance, Am/Fm, A/c, and Heat. This Buick has been family owned for 40 years and it has been meticulously maintained and garage kept throughout it's life. This Riviera shows no sign of rust and it is definitely show ready. Records and receipts are available upon request.

We don’t seem to feature Oldsmobile vehicles as often as we would like as examples like this shine as classics from the late 60s and early 70s. This 1969 Oldsmobile 442 Hurst is one of the examples where Demmer Engineering took 912 other models and made them into special edition Hurst H/O 455’s. This one is Demmer #482 with all the original documentation.
The car has the complete restoration with all the original items brought back to life including the period correct Cameo White and Firefrost Gold paint. Everything here has being carefully restored, and although the 455 engine is said not to be VIN matching, everything else about the car is a definite showstopper and potentially worth the asking price.

The Incredible 2017 1,000Hp Trans Am 455 Super Duty
By Dave Ashton
The New York auto show featured many of muscle cars this year, but one of the standout customs was a 2017 1,000Hp Trans Am 455 Super Duty by Trans Am Depot.
These Camaros turned into Trans Am Firebird bring back the spirit of the original Pontiacs, with many modern twists. A reshaped exterior, highe hood decal, but most importantly, the 455 cubic inch LT1 engine which delivers 1,000 horsepower and 1,046lb-ft of torque. The power comes from a LT1 V8 engine from the Camaro SS, upped from 6.2 liters to 7.4L/455cu. A 2.3 liter Magnusson supercharger is fitted on top to reach the incredible horsepower and torque range.
Power is that fed through a six speed manual or eight speed automatic transmission.
These modern interpretations of Trans Ams start as a sixth generation Chevrolet Camaro, with back and front LED lighting, rear facing Shaker design hood, in huge air extractors. The car also has Ceramic coated headers, 3inch exhaust w/sport tips, 20 inch wheels with huge Monoblock Brembo brakes and 6 piston calipers.

1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H Engine: HI-PO 289 V8 1 of 59 Built Price: $250,000.00
Essentially, this is one of those rare vehicles which do not come up for sale very often. The ‘H’ is for a Hertz rental vehicle which allowed people back in the day to rent a Shelby. Only 999 Shelby GT350Hs were made in 1966 and this is only 1 of 59 made in Ivy Green.
The listing has a ton of detail with it, back history and details of its documentation to prove its authentic. If you have the budget, this is one vertical that will definitely increase in value.
DOCUMENTED IN THE SAAC REGISTRY INCLUDING HISTORY AND SERVICE RECORDS. RECENTLY VERIFIED BY HOWARD C. PARDEE. 1 OF ONLY 59 BUILT IN IVY GREEN. GREAT OWNERSHIP HISTORY INCLUDING PETER KLUTT FROM LEGENDARY MOTORCARS. EXTENSIVE CONCOURS RESTORATION BY WELL-KNOWN JIM COWLES OF “SHELBY PARTS AND RESTORATION”. RETAINS MOST OF THE ORIGINAL SHEET METAL. MOSTLY ALL FORD NOS OR OEM PARTS USED THROUGHOUT. EXTREMELY STRAIGHT BODY WITH BEAUTIFUL SHOW QUALITY PAINT. 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass S Engine: 350 V8 Transmission: Automatic Mileage: 41,870 Price: $19,450.00
This is an incredible Time capsule of a Cutlass S, which was one owner car until a few years ago. The second owner performed a few upgrades like adding a 442 grille and ‘radio speaker, RWL radial tires, new battery, and upgraded 134a Air conditioning.’
The interior also looks beautiful, with its walnut dash and period correct features. It even has the SSII wheels with raised white letter radials. Oldsmobile may not be as popular as the other makes, but if you factor in everything you get for the money, this is possibly the best buy of the lot.
