please note: The nominations list has been updated. I’ve only received two sets of nominations and some of the second set held duplicates from the first set. So some only have one nomination in the category. I really need more in order to hold the awards.  At least three in every category. Please read the rules and check the current nominations before making yours. Also, remember that previous winners and runner-ups are not eligible for nominating in categories they’ve previously won.

Categories: Barson Fanfiction Awards

The following categories will be featured in the 3rd Annual Barson Fanfiction Awards:

Author - The author that you (the reader/fan) feels deserves the title as Best Author within the Barson fandom. Alternate Universe - This is anything that takes Benson and/or Barba out of their perspective jobs and/or Manhattan/New York. (Please note: I will make the final decision whether a fic meets this category.) Angst/Drama - This must bring the feels and put our duo in peril or in an emotional state for whatever reason. This probably will bring about tears of sadness, confusion, and even death. Characterization - This must showcase the best characterization of one or the other of our duo. Or both. Fluff - This must contain no angst. It just has to be sugary goodness between our duo. Can be tame or innocent. Just has to be cute and all that jazz. Multi-Chaptered - Must have more than one chapter. NC-17 - Must contain the sexy times. Doesn’t necessarily have to be graphic. But it will need a T rating and above. Plot - This is whatever storyline is the best and unique in its own way. Oneshot - This is a story that is complete in one go. It has one chapter and one chapter only. Romance - This has to showcase what makes the pairing romantic to the reader. Series - This is a collection of connected stories. They can be oneshots or multi-chaptered. There must be at least two (2) stories to be considered a series. The stories must connect. Unconnected stories will not be considered for this category. (Please note: I will make the final decision whether a fic meets this category.) Work In Progress - This can include abandoned works as well as currently updated works. The only requirement is that the story must not be complete.
