Of course! I’d love to! This recipe has been in my family for over 100 years so it’s really special to me! Ingredients
6.5 cups of sifted flour
.5 cups and 2 tablespoons of company sugar (white sugar)
1 1/3 cup warm water (should be lukewarm not too hot)
1 cup warm butter (should be soft but not melted and cut into small square pieces)
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons dry active yeast
4 large eggs and 2 large egg yolks brought to room temperature
3 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups of all of the following
chocolate chips
candied fruit
raisins (the raisins should be boiled for five minutes to plump them)
.25-.5 cups of sliced almonds
Topping
.5 cups and 1 tablespoon almond flour
2 tablespoons corn powder (is like the thing you use for the gravy and the sauce. Idk the translation for it. The corn thickener?)
11.75 tablespoons of company sugar
2 large egg whites
4-6 tablespoons powdered dusting sugar
.5 cups sliced almonds
Process
In mixing bowl with paddle attachment add flour. in the center add the yeast, sugar, butter, eggs, yolk, zest, vanilla and half the water. Mix it for about 20 second. Take paddle off and use bread hook (dough hook) include other half of the water and salt all at one time
Mix for 17 minutes. After ten, stop and scrape the bowl and hook
After this add all the drained raisins, candied fruit, sliced almonds, and chocolate chips. Mix on low until combined
Remove and place of flat floured cutting board lightly rub hand with butter and gather the dough into a ball.  Place in a large olive oiled bowl, cover with plastic and a dish towel.  Place in a warm kitchen to rise.  Let rise for 2.5 hours. It should be tripled in size by now.
After this, place dough back on the cutting board with the butter hands roll again into a ball, place it in a greased Panettone mold, cover with plastic and a clean dish towel and let rise for an hour.
Topping and Cooking
In medium bowl take almond flour, cornstarch, sugar and egg white and stir together. Leave on counter for a minute.
Pre-heat oven to 365F
With all the softness, brush the bread with the mixture in the bowl. You do not have to use this all. Do not drown the dough. Bake for about 47 minutes. Use the toothpick to check the insides. If is still too wet, cook for no more than 3 minutes. If you would rather use the temperature is should be very close to 190F inside.
As soon as it’s done you should move to a metal rack until is not hot. When this is done it will be ready to cut. Makes for 24 people.
I really hope if you try this you love it! If you do will you send me a picture? I’d enjoy seeing how it turns out!
Thanks for sharing this with me and everyone else! This is so special!

CLAM DIP
1 stick butter
1 medium onion
2 small cans chopped clams with juice
1 and 1/4 sleeves ritz crackers (garlic flavor)
Melt butter in large frying pan. Mince onion and saute in butter until clear. Put in small casserole. Add clams and juice. Crush Ritz crackers in your first, 6 to 7 at a time, into the mixture. Mix well. Bake, covered, at 365F for 30 minutes. Spread on crackers while warm. Delicious appetizer.

This is a recipe my family has been making for decades, it’s so simple but it blows everyone away! Serves well with the same crackers that were used to make it :)
