C'était joli ! 🌸
Savez-vous ce qu'est cette chose, sur la photo ? Bravo à vous si vous savez déjà mais moi je n'en savais rien à l'époque ! Je vais donc vous raconter comment je l'ai trouvé !
J'avais entrepris de refaire le jardin entre les deux confinements et j'avais besoin de pierres pour pouvoir faire des bordures propres. Je suis donc allée chercher mes pierres en bas de chez moi, au bord de la rivière avec la brouette !
Et là "Oh ce galet il est joli, ça fait une fleur !" Et je le mets dedans. J'étais persuadée que c'était un galet sur lequel une fleur s'était fossilisée. Mais ... pas du tout !
Bon, c'est bien un fossile, mais comme on n'est pas dans Animal Crossing, impossible de demander à Thibou. J'ai cherché sur Internet et en comparant avec des photos, j'en suis arrivée à la conclusion qu'il s'agissait en réalité d'un fossile d'oursin plat. La forme arrondie de la "fleur" me laisse penser qu'il s'agit de l'espèce Scutella subrotunda ayant vécu entre -33 et -20 millions d'années.
J'habite à environ 30 km de la mer. Et il y a 33 millions d'années, c'était sous l'eau.
Il n'est pas aussi bien conservé que certains que l'on trouve dans les boutiques de minéraux mais c'est justement ma fierté : l'avoir trouvé moi-même.
