30s woman in Saigon

I lived in Seoul for the last 7 years. And just simply like that, someone broke my heart, if we want to mention it in a more romantic way then "he made me hate that city". I remembered one scene from Begin again. In that scene, the guy asked the girl "why do you decide to leave the city?, Because only people with a broken heart leave New York". For me, I left Seoul with a broken heart.

Decided to move back home, to my little loving Saigon to have a start over. Being 30, being single and learning how to be single, how to enjoy the lonliness. Don't get me wrong, I can be indepent, I can be strong and deal with problems, but being single is something I still need to learn and practice. The need to have someone to keep you company to avoid being awkward in public, or just because men are warmer than women and I just need them for the heat.

During 7 months in Saigon, putting myself out there, in the sea full of fish, not good fish but many bad fishes. I never have my heart borken agan since it never heals. I have to admitt that I was, am being a bad girl playng with people feeling, but I got played too. Today is one of that days. Days that I realize that I really like someone and he just wants to play with me. Or i am being insecure and doubtful? I don't know. I lose my ability to give people the benefit of the doubt. SO many times, trying to give people the second chance, giving them excuses, I realize what I really give them is the chance to hurt me. I learnt my lesson and always foret how it actually feels when I find out I am just "one of them" but "the right one".
