Prompt--In the holyhead harpies locker room

Ginny was in the shower 🚿, in the holyhead harpies locker room, letting the water run through her body as she tried to gather herself after today's match.

It had been exhilarating, exhausting, exciting but not to forget her very best. She had broken records, she had broken the most goal scored by a chaser record. She was so emotional she though she might cry.

She flinched a little when the door to the shower opened but leaned back against his chest when she realized who it was.

Suddenly she couldn't hold it in anymore and turned around in his arms and cried her heart out.

Harry just held her close and whispered sweet words in her ears.

"I'm so proud of you Gin" he said "Teddy and Jamie are bragging to anyone who'll listen that you're their mum"

"It really happened didn't it, Harry?" Ginny looked upto him before burying her face in his neck.

"If you don't believe me, just try stepping out of this locker room" Harry said with a humorous lint in his voice.

Ginny grinned against his shoulder, already feeling better.

Hinny Fest - Day 17

''We're locked in.'' - day seventeen

because I saw a post on instagram and wanted to write something similar

Ginny was stressed, with all those hormones boiling inside her like a cauldron over a fire, it made her more and more nervous.

And going to the Ministry event wasn't helping her mood.

She wanted to go out, but not to go there, she wanted to go out for dinner, maybe have a pizza, buy something at that clothing store she always saw but never went in... But no, they were going to the Ministry event.

When she tried for the third time on another dress – which didn't look good on her big belly – Ginny gave up, she was going half naked to this event and she didn't care what people thought of her! They would have to accept that when each week she was getting more fat because she was carrying a child inside her, she had the right not to wear clothes.

As soon as she thought that, she sighed and went back to rummaging through her wardrobe, as she knew she couldn't go half naked even if she wanted to.

After finding something that Harry managed to close, the two left the house, he was quiet and for the first time Ginny didn't care much, she was stressed and didn't want to make things worse by fighting with her husband, who hadn't done anything, on the way to an event that was sure to be stressful enough.

People kept touching her without asking, putting their hand and talking to her belly when Ginny didn't even know them!

When Harry parked the car in front of the event and helped her down, she already saw that the front door was closed and the guards didn't seem willing to open it for them. Excellent! She had dressed up for nothing!

''We are locked. How wonderful, we're locked out!'' Ginny rolled her eyes irritably, already wanting to sit down on the floor right there and start crying. Harry needed to be there and because of her they were late, because instead of going to get ready Ginny preferred to sleep half an hour which ended up becoming two, and when she woke up she already needed to get ready and now they were out!

Harry had even put on a suit!

''Too bad,'' Harry said, grimacing.

''We can ask the guards, I'm sure someone inside can ask them to open it and -''

‘'Too bad, we'll have to leave,’' Harry put an arm around her shoulders, spinning them back towards the car.

''But Harry-''

''What a sad thing, I was so looking forward to it,'' He helped her back into the car, running to the driver's side. ''Couldn't be sadder.''

''Harry.'' Ginny caught his eye.

‘’We’re an hour late, it will be over soon anyway,’’ He shrugged.

''No, we're half an hour late,'' He denied.

''The event started at eight.'' Ginny's eyes widened. ‘’Yes, I let you sleep long enough for us to be late. Now… are we going to eat pizza?”

''Do you remember when we used to do that?'' Ginny whispered to Harry, trying not to look too much at the couple in their living room.

''Yes,'' He smiled, watching his son hug his girlfriend as they watched movies with their friends. ''The sweaters switched, right?''

''A classic,'' Ginny chuckled, remembering the times she and Harry had been together in the common room like that, Harry's arm over her shoulder, her head resting on his, Ginny wearing his sweater with a big H on the front... Christmases at the Burrow also happened, and it was a nice memory to remember Harry wearing her sweater with G on it.

''They're a cute couple,'' Harry said, pouring himself more tea. ''Did your parents think the same thing about us?''

''I think so,'' She looked at him. ''I'm actually sure, mum always loved you very much, but after you became her son-in-law...''

''I have my charm,'' Harry shrugged. ''Come here, you look pretty today,'' Ginny was wearing one of Harry's shirts as a dress, wearing it with the top buttons undone and a black belt with gold at the waist making it look less like she did when she was just wearing his clothes post sex, and more like a business woman.

But even so, she was beautiful.

She settled into his embrace, squeezing him close and kissing his chest. ''I booked us a table at that Italian restaurant,'' he said, kissing her hair and feeling her smile. ''Enjoy that James is going out with his friends, Albus is at the Malfoys and Lily-Lu is going to your parents' house.''

''Is that why you let James sleep over at Michael's? So we could be alone?'' She lifted her head and could see Harry smile, ever so handsome.

''Maybe,'' he admitted. ''I would say it was a fair exchange. He's happy, and so am I, and consequently, so are you.'' Harry blinked. ''Anyway, we'll have the house to ourselves, and as much as I miss our kids, I can't wait for that.''
