6 DAYS TANZANIA COMFORT SAFARI

Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro crater and Lake manyara National Park.

ARRIVAL:

Arrive in Tanzania and tranfer to Charity International Hotel hotel in Arusha for dinner and overninght ( BB)

DAY 1

After breakfast arround 7:30am drive to Tarangire National Park for a game viewing ,the park is situated south of Lake Manyara and it is 116km from Arusha town. With a large area of about 2850sq km and provides home for about 2500 Elephants. It is also famous for its tree-climbing Pythons along the Silale swamp southern part of the park. The Baobab trees growing in an open Acacia Woodland symbolizing Tarangire.

It is an ornithologist paradise rich in birds of prey and an incredible diversity of avifauna. The park is also known for its large concentration of wildebeest and zebra during dry season June to mid October. Not only these but also the park has large herds of Cape Buffalo, Impala and big Lion prides, Leopards, Cheetah, Giraffe and many more animals rooming the park. The mult habitat Tarangire is divided into three parts. The Northern Lemiyoni short carpeted grassland, the Savannah scattered woodland of the mid park and the acacia woodland of the southern Lamakau area that are home for different animals and bird species. Lunch at Tarangire Safari Lodge and late evening drive PAMOJA AFRICA lodge or MIGOMBANI Camp for dinner and overnight(FB)

DAY 2

After breakfast drive to the famous Serengeti Park via Ngorongoro crater rim, game drive along the Serengeti with packed lunch.

The famous Serengeti is the largest National Park in Tanzania. It is also one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in the world. It covers an area of about 14763sq km at an altitude of 4200ft. Serengeti ecosystem which is mult habitat of Kopjes, Savannah scattered woodlands, hills, Lakes, rivers, Ponds and the endless plain is a home to aggregation of many different birds and wild animals-Giraffes, Cape Buffalos, Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Leopards, Wildebeest, Zebras and many more rooming the land. Wildebeest and zebra migration makes Serengeti paradise and unique place. This countless number of individuals can be seen moving from place to place following the rain due to green pastures.

Recent estimated data were over 1.8 million. In Serengeti we have a chance of greeting the dawn as you gracefully glide high above the vast plains in a magnificent hot –air Balloon if you are interested. The views are spectacular and the ride exhilarating. Make game drive along the Seronera River and Rock Kopjes to maximize chances of seeing predators hunting. Lions, Cheetah and Leopards are normally seen along these areas hunting.Late evening arrive at MAWE lodge or SERONERA campsite for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3

After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro crater highlands via Oldupai Gorge a site of Mary and Louis Leakey`s discovery of 1.7 million years old Zinjathropus skull believed to be the ancestors of all people today. After visit you drive Northwest of the site to see the crescent magnetic sand dunes (The Shifting Sand) that move 17m every year. You drive back to Ngorongoro at Maasai Boma (Compounds) to see the ancient traditions, dances and customs, then drive to SIMBA A campsite for dinner and overnight.( FB)

DAY 4

After breakfast descent into the crater floor with packed lunch for an intensive whole day game drive. Ngorongoro crater is one the Eighth Wonder of the World and the Cradle of Mankind (Garden of Eden). Ngorongoro conservation area covers about 8300sq km, while Ngorongoro crater covers about 304sq km. Along the crater rim the height varies from 7500ft and 8000ft at some places. The depth to the crater floor is about 2000ft. Ngorongoro crater, which is the highland forests surround receive rain almost year round, a factor that supports green pastures for abundant of wildlife concentration. The crater grassy floor where Africa`s largest permanent concentration of wildlife found and it is a sort of mini Serengeti in a phenomenally scenic setting. Game viewing here is unmatched anywhere in the World. Here you can see huge numbers of Lions, Buffalos, Zebras, Gazelles, Wildebeest and old male Elephants grazing and browsing. It is the better place to see the endangered Black Rhino. Its alkaline soda lake hosts abundant of birdlife including large flock of greater and lesser flamingos that abound there eating shrims. Ascend the crater and drive to PAMOJA AFRICA lodge or SIMBA B campsites for dinner and overnight.(FB)

DAY 5

Early morning breakfast and then enter Lake manyara national park for a full day game viewing .Lunch will be served at picnic site inside of the park.After lunch proceed with game viewing until late afternoon and then drive to the MIGOMBANI Camp for dinner and overnight .(FB)

DAY 6

Early morning game viewing up to the HOT SPRING in the southern part of the park and then start walking along the rim of the Great Rift Valley with an excellent view of Lake Manyara,Manyara town and Kilimanjaro mountain .At 12 :00pm go back to the camp for Lunch. After lunch drive to your hotel in Arusha. Overnight Charity International Hotel
