Yodel-off

Cracking around this morning I headcanoned the main reason Luciano doesn't drink alcohol is that he tends to embarass himself whenever he's drunk- like yodeling with people or doing other silly things he would never do while sober.

I'm not entirely sure what Luciano is trying to prove by showing off his yodeling skills but in his mind it works, okay?

It probably starts off with something awesome like this, really. Luciano’s germanic blood is strong, he can compete well enough even with an expert like his grandma’ (What is their relationship, actually?).

Then it just degenerates. And, YES, please, watch the video, it’s the best yodel song ever written. Go chicken go! go chicken go! Now go, now fly, you own the sky!

OPS my hand slipped a few times. I also have no idea why the scanner keeps leaving ‘lines’ on my drawings but for now I don’t have any mean to fix it, I’m sorry :( I tried to clean it but… that doesn’t seem to be the problem? Anyway, ended up inking because, well, your character is actually one of the first few things I ever tried to ink and it was a disaster. I kind of wanted to see how I improved over time? 

There is also a special page that will not see the light in the end because while I was finishing the last touches my lovely cat decided it was the perfect time to require my attention. Also- asdfgh- you have no idea how embarassed I am but, well, thank you. I love your style too and I’m really looking forward your game!

The best thing of interacting with other 2ps, especially when I rp, is how most of them are badass powerful countries while my Luciano is, like... "Smol, angry, kind of weak but really good/dedicated to his job". After all canonically speaking Hima said, somewhere, Veneziano is strong but lazy/a coward so my Italy is the opposite? At some point Tumblr refused to make me position the pictures in a better format and after the fourth attempt... but apparently I’d have to do a 2 parts post if I wanted to show everyting so- sorry?

Shopping with the family

in short: Flavio is a glorious bastard who probably wanted to match up clothes with his new 'mom', Mama is being her glorious self and Luciano is just sad because he cannot say NO to flavio and no one appreciates his love for polos.

I cannot even doodle properly because it’s too late but- I don’t care. Blame @ask-mama-germania for this.

Yes, south is definitely shorter. Luci also cheats using heels because he hates being one of the smallest nations. Don’t understimate him for this.

Luciano may be asshole incarnated but he really loves Flavio, ok? They're good bros, just not good at showing physical affection.

Luciano always asks his brother before any physical interaction because he knows Flavio isn't... okay with it most of the time, no matters what he says, Flavio always makes sure to warn his brother because Luci is always armed and it wouldn't be a good idea to startle him...

Flavio is in charge of the kitchen, Luciano only eats meals prepared by his brother. Marino is often their guest, at first she just rushed in the room demanding food and making a mess but now South always makes sure to have a free spot at their table, making her feel welcome. She's a kid and both brothers know what's like to feel lonely so they don't mind it too much, no matters how much Luciano complains.

Talking about Luci...

He only knows how to make polenta and coffee, one of the two isn't avaiable most of the time. He is rarely seen in the kitchen and whenever he attempts to cook anything out of his comfort zone it always ends up in a disaster, at least he knows he can count on Flavio to keep himself well fed.

Seborga an Vatican, on the other hand...

They often have meals together, despite one being the greediest country in the family and the other the poorest and most generous the two get along pretty well- and Seborga often asks her to have food with him. They're both used to super cheap foods one can buy at the discount, even if for different reasons. Seborga would rather get a free meal from Flavio but no one really likes to be around Luciano anyway... he'd rather spend 4000 or 5000 lire* for cheap food than eating good stuff but not enjoying it at all.

*The currency in use in Italy before the euro, they never really changed it in this AU
