NASA's ECOSTRESS Monitors California's Apple Fire From Space
ISS - ECOSTRESS Experiment logo. August 4, 2020 NASA's Ecosystem Spaceborne Thermal Radiometer Experiment on Space Station (ECOSTRESS) captured a birds-eye view of the vast Apple fire raging in Southern California.
Image above: This ECOSTRESS temperature map shows the region surrounding the Apple fire that was raging in Southern California on Aug. 1, 2020. Image Credits: NASA/JPL-Caltech. The wildfire began on the evening of Friday, July 31, after two smaller fires merged and rapidly grew in the hot conditions in Riverside County, east of Los Angeles, prompting the evacuation of thousands of residents. Air temperatures have soared past 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius), stressing the vegetation and turning the area into a tinderbox. By Monday, the wildfire had exploded to over 26,000 acres. ECOSTRESS recorded the image above at 1:15 p.m. PST (4:15 p.m. EDT) on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, when the burn area was approximately 4,000 acres in size. In the image, the black smoke plume can be seen drifting east and over Joshua Tree National Park in the Mojave Desert. With a spatial resolution of about 77 by 77 yards (70 by 70 meters), the image enables researchers to study surface-temperature conditions down to the size of a football field. In the active burn area, temperatures of between 390 and 1290 degrees Fahrenheit (200 and 700 degrees Celsius) were recorded, and in one pixel in the ECOSTRESS image of the burn zone, a peak temperature of 1387 degrees Fahrenheit (753 degrees Celsius) was detected.
ECOSTRESS Monitoring plants water use and stress. Animation Credit: NASA
Tasked with detecting plant water use and stress, ECOSTRESS's primary mission is to measure the temperature of plants heating up as they run out of water. But it can also measure and track heat-related phenomena like fires, heat waves, and volcanoes. Due to the space station's unique orbit, the mission can acquire images of the same regions at different times of the day, as opposed to crossing over each area at the same time of day like satellites in other orbits do. This is advantageous when monitoring plant stress in the same area throughout the day, for example. The ECOSTRESS mission launched to the space station on June 29, 2018. NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a division of Caltech in Pasadena, California, built and manages the mission for the Earth Science Division in the Science Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters in Washington. ECOSTRESS is an Earth Venture Instrument mission; the program is managed by NASA's Earth System Science Pathfinder program at NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. I'm so happy Bebe has been getting more reconigtion she defiantly deserves that Grammy nod but she should have won..and I think she should have gotten her first Grammy for monster cause she wrote that chorus for emeinem song but he got the Grammy and she didn't even get credit. Plus they kept bebes high notes in rhiannas part cause she couldn't hit those notes.. shame on the musoc indusrty to hold real talent back.."Â
I thank Sylvester Stallone for giving her the best advice for not giving up on her music."Â
Its surprising to me that she didn't care about the award for the grammy, What she said is what every musician and actor should strive for, not the award the love of doing it and thanking your fans/audiences for your success! not alot of people do that anymore."Â
Bebe has a really warm and inspiring personality!"Â
She's such a talented beautiful and kind human being but why they hate her her body is not that worst like I don't say that bcoz I'm her fan but it's just the truth if I'm not her fan also I won't say she's so ugly ....once again I'm not bcoz of her fan I'm saying it...and I like the idea of that scratch up God job."Â
Bebeâs so talented and stunning like alwaysâĽď¸."Â

Steelers LB Ryan Shazier retires from NFL
Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports
Shazier has made incredible progress after a terrifying spinal injury he suffered in December 2017 against the Bengals.
Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier suffered a spinal injury in December 2017 and has been making slow progress in a quest that stretches far beyond the gridiron.
Shazier has made numerous public appearances since his injury; arguably his most powerful came during the 2018 NFL Draft, when he walked onto the stage with some help from his then-fiancee, Michelle. Shazier did not play in 2018 or 2019 and has now officially retired from the NFL.
A timeline of Ryan Shazierâs injury and recovery
Hereâs everything that happened since Shazier was injured on Dec. 4, 2017.
Sept. 9, 2020
Ryan Shazier made it official on Wednesday by announcing his retirement from the NFL in this video:
Thank You ... pic.twitter.com/JS3diYi2ar
â Ryan Shazier (@RyanShazier) September 9, 2020
Mar. 17, 2020
Shortly before the start of the 2020 league year, the Steelers announced that Shazier has retired from the NFL and been placed on the Reserve/Retired List. This move will allow for âhis continued inclusion within our organization,â according to the teamâs general manager, Kevin Colbert.
Aug. 25, 2019
Although Shazier wonât play again this year, he is still part of the Steelers â and even snagged a few balls in warmups before a preseason game:
Ryan Shazier with the #Steelers LBs during pregame warmups. Pretty cool they have him involved. The thing players always say they miss the most is being with the guys. pic.twitter.com/SYeWyWm1za
â TURRON DAVENPORT (@TDavenport_NFL) August 25, 2019
June 3, 2019
The Professional Football Writers of America announced that Shazier was chosen as the 2019 George Halas Award recipient. The award is given annually to an NFL figure who has overcome adversity.
May 3, 2019
Shazier married his longtime partner, Michelle, in downtown Pittsburgh. Current and former Steelers teammates, along with a couple celebrities, were guests at the wedding to celebrate the couple.
Also worth celebrating is Shazier hitting the dance floor with his new wife:

â DK Pittsburgh Sports (@DKPghSports) May 4, 2019
April 29, 2019
For the second year in a row, the Steelers placed Shazier on the physically unable to perform (PUP list). That was the plan all along, but now itâs official that he wonât play in 2019.
April 7, 2019
Shazier showed off the impressive progress heâs made, posting a video of himself doing box jumps:
View this post on Instagram
DEDICATION = HARDWORK + PATIENCE
A post shared by Ryan Shazier (@shazier) on Apr 7, 2019 at 12:49pm PDT
âThe first boxes were a lot lower than that,â Shazierâs father, Vernon, told ESPN. âIt all began with just trying to jump â no box. It slowly graduated to what you see in that video.â
March 12, 2019
Shazierâs contract was set to expire after the 2018 season, but because he was sidelined the entire year the Steelers have the option to toll his contract over another year. The team announced it planned to do exactly that â ensuring Shazier can continue to get paid by the league, accrue years toward a pension, and receive NFL medical insurance.
The Steelers also announced that Shazier will eventually be placed on the PUP list and wonât play for the team in 2019.
âWe will continue to support Ryanâs efforts to return to play,â said General Manager Kevin Colbert. âAlthough he wonât be able to help us on the field in 2019, his leadership, insight, and emotional support have always been very valuable to us, and we look forward to his contributions in our pursuit of a championship.â
Jan. 16, 2019
Following the Steelersâ 2018 season, Art Rooney II gave an update about Shazierâs status with the team. Shazier is set to be a free agent in March.
âRyan, I believe, still intends to continue to rehab with the intention of trying to come back and play, and so to the extent that he wants to do that, weâre open to working that out,â Rooney said. âThere are some technicalities about somebody going from staff to player. So, at this point as I said, I think his goal is to continue to be a player, and so weâll have to address it as time goes on and figure out how that works. He would have to have a contract.â
One possibility is that the Steelers sign him to a one-year contract at the league minimum.
Dec. 6, 2018
Almost exactly a year after his injury, Shazier posted a video of himself deadlifting:
View this post on Instagram
Through the pain and the success. You must always remain HUMBLE!
A post shared by Ryan Shazier (@shazier) on Dec 6, 2018 at 12:34pm PST
Days earlier, Steelers linebackers coach Joey Porter told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that Shazier had just jogged for the first time since the injury. According to the article, doctors had given Shazier âless than a 20 percent chanceâ of walking again.
Oct. 14, 2018
Shazier returned to Cincinnati, where the Steelers and Bengals were playing for the first time since his injury. Before the game, Shazier paid a visit to University of Cincinnati Medical Center to thank them for taking care of him last December:
Itâs been a long journey, but this is still a ways to go. But it all started here in Cincinnati. Today was an amazing day I was so thankful to be able to tell everyone thank you. #Shalieve pic.twitter.com/wItKXNp5ya
â Ryan Shazier (@RyanShazier) October 14, 2018
Sept. 24, 2018
The Steelers made their first Monday Night Football appearance since Shazierâs injury in a Week 3 matchup against the Buccaneers. Lisa Salters spoke to Shazier before the game.
âHeâs feeling really good,â Salters said, âHe said heâs taking things a day at a time. He wants to play football.â
Salters also talked to Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, who told her, âWe just want to be there as a team to support him in whatever decision he decides to make for himself in the future.â
Aug. 3, 2018
At the Steelersâ annual Friday Night Lights practice, Shazier showed fans that he is now walking on his own, unassisted and without a cane:
Today was a great day. The team had a wonderful practice. But I also got to enjoy the fansâźď¸ If you were able to make it to the stadium, here if a little bit of what happenedâźď¸ I promise you the lord is not done working yetâźď¸ Keep Shalieving 5ď¸âŁ0ď¸âŁ #shalieve pic.twitter.com/LHiRXHa5gN
â Ryan Shazier (@RyanShazier) August 4, 2018
June 6, 2018
Shazier spoke at a press conference â his first time speaking to media after his December injury.
âMy dream is to come back and play football again,â Shazier said. âIâve been working my tail off every day and I have that in the back of my mind every day I go to rehab.â
Shazier said heâs been surprising doctors with his progress throughout the rehab process. His goal for now is to be able to walk by himself without the support of a cane.
He also said that heâs not afraid of suffering another injury if he eventually returns to the field, but added that âheâll have to play safer and keep his head up.â
May 3, 2018
The Steelers are giving Shazier his entire 2018 salary upfront:
The Steelers have converted $8.26M of LB Ryan Shazierâs 2018 base salary into a signing bonus, per source. Shazier, placed on PUP Wednesday, earns that money now. While there are no cap implications, itâs a great gesture by a first rate organization.
â Field Yates (@FieldYates) May 3, 2018
May 2, 2018
The Steelers placed Shazier on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, which means he wonât count against the teamâs 90-man limit for the offseason roster.
April 26, 2018
He made a surprise appearance at the NFL Draft, when he walked for the first time in public since his injury. His fiancee, Michelle, walked with Shazier to help him to the podium. There, Shazier announced the Steelersâ first-round pick, safety Terrell Edmunds out of Virginia Tech:
We all #SHALIEVE. pic.twitter.com/cByTumbaHa
â Pittsburgh Steelers (@steelers) April 27, 2018
After, he thanked fans for their support:

â Ryan Shazier (@RyanShazier) April 27, 2018
A dramatic week got even more so the next day, when a tornado hit his parentsâ home, but everyone is OK.

During the NFL Combine, Shazier hopped on the phone with NFL Networkâs Mike Mayock and Rich Eisen.
âMy end goal is to allow the Lord to let me come back and play at the high level that I was before,â Shazier said. âEvery day I try to get better. I strive for the Hall of Fame and I was doing that through this year, the whole time I was playing. And I still do that while Iâm doing rehab. I know itâs still a possibility. I have the Lord and he has my back and I constantly feel Iâm going to come back and play football.â
Feb. 28, 2018
At the NFL Combine, Steelers GM Kevin Colbert announced that Shazier wouldnât be playing in the 2018 season:

Feb. 7, 2018
Team owner Art Rooney II confirmed that Shazier will still be heavily involved with the Steelers next season:

â Pittsburgh Penguins (@penguins) February 7, 2018
Feb. 4, 2018
ESPNâs Adam Schefter shared on Super Bowl Sunday that Shazier hasnât just regained feeling in his legs, but heâs also regained movement and is âengaging in a regular walking routine.â But Michele Tafoya reported that Shazier wasnât walking on his own, which Shazier then confirmed himself.
Feb. 1, 2018
Shazier posted the most encouraging sign of his recovery to that date with a picture that appeared to show him standing â albeit with support from teammate Ben Roethlisberger.
Iâve had a lot of 1st downs at UPMC, but you know being the defensive guy I am, my mind is on 3 and out. With that being said, I want everyone to know that Iâm moving on to the next step of the process. Todayâs a big day for me as Iâm officially being released from the hospital. I want to take a moment to thank the people who have helped me the past two months. First and foremost, I want to thank God because at the end of the day I donât think Iâd be making progress without His vision and hands protecting me and my family. I will continue to trust in Him and thank Him, because it all starts with Him. To my family: youâve been my rock. Words canât express how thankful I am for you Michelle, RJ, Mom, Dad, and VJ for always being there for me. Youâre my everything. To Jerome: my trainer and best friend. Thank you for being there from day 1 and every day after continuing to push me to be better every day. Iâd like to thank Dr. Okonkwo, Dr. Harrington, Dr. Maroon, and Dr. Schroeder for their amazing work on my procedure and continuous care. I canât appropriately express how grateful I am for how quickly youâve helped me bounce back. I want to thank the medical staff at UPMC for their amazing care, support and therapy they have given me- especially Joe, Nikki, Karolina and Dani. I know the staff will continue to help me find a way to keep on pushing as we continue therapy. The support from my teammates has been truly amazing. From former players to current players and their families- they have helped me and my family day to day with visits and gifts. We canât thank you enough. I want to thank Mr. Rooney, Coach T, Mr. Colbert, and the entire Steelers organization for the unwavering support theyâve given me. I knew they were an amazing organization, but more than ever theyâre family to me. Lastly, I want to thank Jimmy, Candice, and the CAA Sports staff for being here when I need them most. I donât know if Iâd be where Iâm at or making the progress Iâm making without you guys. I want everyone to know that all of the support and prayers are absolutely being answered. I will continue to work hard and push and find a way back. #Shalieve #Steelers #prayfor50

This was the first photo that confirmed Shazier was in a wheelchair. His family and the team have kept details about Shazierâs condition close to the vest to protect his privacy as he recovers.
I want to thank the Lord for the first downs that he has been allowing me to achieve. The touchdown is going to come in his timing, but today was a first down. I was finally able to make it to practice with my teammates. Itâs great to be back for practices and meetings. Just to be able to feel a part of it means the world. So Iâm working harder than I ever have to get back. Ive been making strides over the past month and continue to make progress. Taking it day-by-day, but Iâm far from done. The Lord has not finished his work yet. I want to say thank you to the fans and Steelers Nation for the prayers. If it wasnât for my family, friends and your prayers I wouldnât be were I am now. They have lifted me and my family through this journey and I ask for you to continue praying for me, as I continue to work daily on improving my health. #Shalieve#Steelers#prayfor50

âI really have no update in terms of his medical status other than what was released earlier,â Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin told reporters. âI would imagine at the appropriate time that those who are responsible for his care will give you a reasonable assessment of where he is. I imagine that would occur as soon as later on today.â
âFrom my perspective, obviously it was a tough evening,â he said. âRyanâs a trooper. I had an opportunity to spend some time with him, and heâs in good spirits.â
Dec. 4, 2017
Shazier was injured during a Monday Night Football game against the Bengals in Week 13. On Cincinnatiâs first possession of the game, Shazier went to the ground clutching his back after tackling Bengals wide receiver Josh Malone. It looked like a normal, everyday kind of tackle until Shazier didnât get up.
Shazier was immobilized on a backboard, carted off the field, and taken to a Cincinnati hospital.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin did not have an update on Shazierâs status after the game.
âThis is a tough game, tough business,â Tomlin said. â5-0 (Shazier) is our brother.â
What does Ryan Shazier mean to the Steelers?
Shazier has been the Steelersâ biggest defensive playmaker since they took him in the first round of the 2014 draft.
He means so much more to the Steelers than that, as was seen in the way his teammates reacted immediately after his injury. They had a hard time holding back tears in the immediate aftermath and for the rest of the game.
âI donât think Vince (Williams) stopped crying until after halftime, and thatâs one of the most gangster dudes on the team,â safety Mike Mitchell said, via The MMQBâs Greg Bishop. âPeople had to grab him by the face mask and be like, âYo, youâre the middle linebacker now. You canât be sniffling.ââ
The Steelers went on to win that game, beating the Bengals 23-20. They won four of their last five, locking up the second seed in the AFC before falling to the Jaguars in the Divisional Round.
He wasnât on the field, but they didnât do it without Shazier.
âWhen you see him, you know how much he loves football and wants to be out there for us,â linebacker Anthony Chickillo said, through the teamâs website. âYou just want to go hard for him. You just want to win for him.â
Whatâs Shazierâs prognosis?
Shazier started rehab days after undergoing surgery. Heâs still very much a part of the Steelers, even if he never takes the field again.
Shazier and his family believe that he will play again.
âYes, I do,â Vernon Shazier said. âI Shalieve.â Shazier and his family consistently use that play on Shazierâs last name and the word âbelieveâ when talking about his injury.
The injury was terrifying, and itâs difficult to even think about whether Shazier can or will play football in the future. What matters now is just Shazierâs continued recovery.

American whiskey is a tricky business. Staying in the know about bourbon, blends, and the wild West of American single malt is a challenge in normal times, and more so while weâre largely left to explore and share experiences inside. In these times, the best way to stay up to date with the latest whiskey releases and cultural tips is online.
Of course, following the right whiskey experts is key. Thatâs why VinePair consulted our whiskey-loving friends and experts throughout the spirits community to tell us who theyâre following on Instagram and Twitter right now. From whiskey writers to bartenders, the individuals below each offer a unique perspective into the world of whiskey.

HAPPY NATIONAL WINE DAY â HERE'S A WHISKEY DRINK: It was already sour week for me, and I wanted to make sure to cover the New York Sour with it's beautiful red wine float atop a pillow of whiskey sour lusciousness. đˇ It's pretty much the only way I drink wine these days. đˇ The full article which includes the history of the New York Sour is on my website â link in bio â but I'll tell you that I didn't find a clear consensus on wines to use to float on a whiskey sour. đˇ When experimenting and taste testing (creating cocktails is hard work) it seemed that choosing a wine that went with the ingredients was much like choosing any other cocktail element. In the end I chose a cab/shiraz blend that a friend gave to me. It was fruity, but not overly sour, and definitely dry. It played very well with the oaky notes from the rye I used. đˇ Remember that the kind of red wine you choose will need to play well with the other ingredients. You may want to focus on fruity wines to pair with the sweet in the whiskey sour, but you might decide to go dry and let the tannins/oaky qualities pair up with the aged whiskey. Itâs your choice.  đˇ Full recipe is in the link in bio. HAPPY NATIONAL WINE DAY â HERE'S A WHISKEY DRINK: It was already sour week for me, and I wanted to make sure to cover the New York Sour with it's beautiful red wine float atop a pillow of whiskey sour lusciousness. Ă°Â¡ It's pretty much the only way I drink wine these days. Ă°Â¡ The full article which includes the history of the New York Sour is on my website â link in bio â but I'll tell you that I didn't find a clear consensus on wines to use to float on a whiskey sour. ð¡ When experimenting and taste testing (creating cocktails is hard work) it seemed that choosing a wine that went with the ingredients was much like choosing any other cocktail element. In the end I chose a cab/shiraz blend that a friend gave to me. It was fruity, but not overly sour, and definitely dry. It played very well with the oaky notes from the rye I used. Ă°Â¡ Remember that the kind of red wine you choose will need to play well with the other ingredients. You may want to focus on fruity wines to pair with the sweet in the whiskey sour, but you might decide to go dry and let the tannins/oaky qualities pair up with the aged whiskey. ItâÂÂs your choice.  ð¡ Full recipe is in the link in bio. As the nationwide lockdown that commenced in March earlier this year, many films were postponed due to the shutdown of theatres. The coronavirus pandemic has brought the showbiz to a standstill. Even as the restrictions are slowly being lifted, itâs uncertain when the theatres will reopen and whether the audience will head to the cinema halls. Producers are opting for direct-to-OTT options in order to not suffer more losses.
It was already rumoured that after several movies like Gulabo Sitabo and Shakuntala Devi took the OTT route, many projects will be making it to the digital platforms. Now, as per recent development, sources reveal that Disney + Hotstar will premiere ten films on their platform including two of the highly awaited movies â Akshay Kumarâs Laxmmi Bomb and Ajay Devgn starrer Bhuj: The Pride Of India.

Instagram Advertising Is A Great Way To Boost Your Popularity! Hereâs How
Even though Instagram Ads are pretty much resembling what Facebook Ads are all about, theyâre growing at an accelerated pace, and with their evolved role in the marketing world, brands are rushing to make them a number one priority as they offer an abundance of benefits.
In order to learn how to use Instagram Ads in a proper way you need to learn all about their quirks. In this post, weâll discuss how you can use Instagram Ads, which type of Instagram Ads suit you the most, how to create them, and wen the best times to use Instagram Ads are.
Types of Instagram Ads
When Instagram launched Instagram Ads in late 2015, it gave marketers the opportunity to promote their business in front of a mammoth 1 billion + monthly audience. Users are allowed to create Instagram Ads through Power Editor, the Ads manager, and with the help of other third-party tools. Before you rush into it and start crafting your own Instagram ad campaign, letâs talk about the characteristics of the different types of Instagram Ads.
Instagram advertising: Photo Ads
Photos can be uploaded in landscape or square format. Thatâs the first information you need to learn about Instagram Photo Ads. Furthermore, Photo Ads allow users to convey a visual story through compelling images. For instance, brands use them to promote their best services or products, music artists use them to post their most appealing gig photos, travel photographers use Photo Ads to showcase their best shots to a larger audience etc. In fact, thatâs exactly what Photo Ads do best â they allow you to present your content to a larger following that surpasses your own by far.

A post shared by Johan Lolos (@lebackpacker) on Aug 9, 2018 at 9:49am PDT
Naturally, you get to choose the specifics for your Photo Ad so that they align with your campaign objective:
Age
Location
Gender
Interests
Behaviors
These are all elements that you are allowed to personally tailor so that the specifications of your Photo Ad can correspond with your campaign objective. Lastly, you can choose whether your Photo Ad to focus on awareness, consideration, or conversion.
Instagram advertising: Video Ads
Video Ads work in a way similar to photo Ads, with the main difference reflecting in the added power of sight, motion, and sound. Instagram allows users to sponsor videos up to 60-seconds in a landscape or square format. The same principles apply when it comes to setting up the video ad. As it was with Photo Ads, users have all the control necessary to set up the ad and align it with their campaign objectives.

Instagram advertising: Carousel Ads
Carousel Ads include the bonus functionality of adding more photos or videos in a single ad post. With carousel Ads, users can swipe to view more additional photos or videos in a single ad. This additional layer of depth allows advertisers to create a longer visual story with up to 10 images or videos.

Instagram advertising: Stories Ads
Instagram Stories presents a great opportunity for advertisers to tap in on a huge audience of over 400 million accounts. Given that Instagram Stories expire after 24-hours, theyâre the ideal solution for those who want to share limited offers and promotions. Furthermore, out of the 400 million people that use Instagram Stories, one-third of the most-viewed Instagram Stories come from businesses, while one in five Instagram Stories receive a direct message from Story viewers.
Users can target their ads by:
Reach
Video views
Traffic
Conversions
App installs
Brand awareness
Users are also allowed to analyze the performance of their Instagram Stories ads in the insights section of their business profile on the Instagram app. Furthermore, users can check out more metrics within the Ads Manager and Power Editor.
Pro tip: With 60% of stories viewed with the sound on, you might want to make sure that your content sounds as good as it appears. So, whether youâd like to share a photo or a video in your Instagram Story, and spice it up with various filters, effects, and other engaging features, make sure it also sounds good.
Instagram advertising: Collection Ads
Instagram also allows users to create Collection Ads where they can emphasize product specifications. Through Collection Ads, users can easily discover and browse products and services in a visually appealing and engaging manner. Collection Ads on Instagram allow you to promote multiple products in feed and offer your customers a swift post-click experience to browse your products in a fullscreen Instant Experience called âInstant Storefront.â
Getting started with Instagram Ads
Before you start creating Ads on Instagram, you need to connect your account to a Facebook Business Page, which allows you to use the Facebook Ad Manager. The Ad Manager is responsible for creating Ads that run on both Facebook and Instagram. If you have a Facebook page, hereâs how you can easily connect it to the Facebook Business manager:
Visit business.facebook.com
Click on the âCreate Accountâ option
Select an existing account or create a new one
Fill out the rest of the required fields.
Learn how to add people to Business Manager.
Once this process is complete, you can link your Instagram account to your Business Manager profile.
Thatâs it! Not so complicated once you see it laid out, right? Like it or not, there is no shortcut around this as it is the formal way of getting started with Instagram Ads.
Two primary ways of creating Instagram Ads
The two main ways to create Instagram Ads in Facebook Ads Manager are
Guided Creation: The guided creation method literally guides you through the process of creating your Instagram ad campaign with step-by-step instructions.
Quick Creation: The quick creation method allows you to skip through the introductory part and get right into managing your Instagram ads.
This is all kind of like when youâre first playing a video game that requires you to go through the tutorial the first time you play it.
The formal process of creating your Instagram Ads
There are five crucial steps that encapsulate the formal process of Instagram advertising:
Choose Your Objective: You will be offered multiple campaign objectives to choose from, and you have to think hard about this. You can choose whether you want to increase brand awareness, expand your reach, attract more traffic, receive more engagement, or get more conversions.
Identify Your Audience: You also get to handle the demographics of your target audience. You will be able to choose their location, average age, interests, pattern behaviors. Once youâre done, you can click on Save Audience and keep the audience profile for future Instagram Ads.
Select Your Ad Placements: Here you will be required to choose where you want your Ad to be shown on Instagram or Facebook. You can have your Ad appear both on Instagram and Facebook, but if you want to limit it just to Instagram you can change it on Edit Placements.
Choose Your Budget & Schedule: This step requires you to determine the budget and the duration of the promotion. You will also be able to choose to run the ad continuously or at certain times of the day.
Create Your Ads: This is the finishing step that requires you to choose the images or videos that you want to be included in your Instagram ad.
Thatâs it. After this process is finished, your Ad will be live and you will be able to track the performance of your Ad.
Creating your Instagram Ad strategy
When users choose to advertise their posts, they make sure to choose the very best content they want to promote and combine it with a well-crafted caption. Also, adding a few targeted hashtags wonât hurt. This is all part of a little thing called Ad strategy that may prove to be the hero of your ad campaign:

Target audience: Knowing who you want to target is crucial when it comes to creating an Instagram ad. Analyze your targeted audience beyond finding their demographics and interests.
Measure and compare results: Use Instagram analytic tools to measure the results of your Instagram ad. Set realistic goals and objectives for your Instagram ad and compare and analyze the results.
Lastly, research and analyze some of the most successful Instagram ad campaigns in your niche and learn which content works the best. Always make sure to focus on promoting only your best content.
When to create Instagram Ads?
Itâs also important to think about when it would be a great time to create an Instagram Ad. You wouldnât want to bore your target audience with pointless Instagram Ads. Treat Instagram Ads as limited chances to impress an audience wider than your organic one. You should consider creating Instagram Ads when you want to:
Promote shoppable products
Leverage great UGC
Encourage more UGC
Increase your brandâs visibility

Whatâs the latest on Ryan Shazier?
Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports
Shazier is making incredible progress after a terrifying spinal injury he suffered in December 2017 against the Bengals.
Shazier did not play in 2018, and though he has said that his goal is to return to the football field, itâs possible he may never be able to play again.
A timeline of Ryan Shazierâs injury and recovery
Hereâs everything that happened since Shazier was injured on Dec. 4, 2017.
Mar.
Ryan Shazier danced at his wedding tonight. Danced. Guy is remarkable. #dkps #steelers pic.twitter.com/lftTPOBt0G
â DK Pittsburgh Sports (@DKPghSports) May 4, 2019
April 29, 2019
For the second year in a row, the Steelers placed Shazier on the physically unable to perform (PUP list). That was the plan all along, but now itâs official that he wonât play in 2019.
April 7, 2019
Shazier showed off the impressive progress heâs made, posting a video of himself doing box jumps:
View this post on Instagram
DEDICATION = HARDWORK + PATIENCE
Iâm truly blessed and humbled from all the prayers, love, and support that I have received . This is what keeps me going. Just continue to #Shalieve pic.twitter.com/p1kAZfG8xT
â Ryan Shazier (@RyanShazier) April 27, 2018

That same day, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center released a statement saying that Shazier was discharged from inpatient rehab and will transition into an outpatient program to continue his recovery.

It was their first game after Shazierâs injury.
âWe didnât play without him. He was out here with us, and we know it,â quarterback Ben Roethsliberger said after their 39-38 dramatic win. âBuddy, we love you so much. This one was for you, bud.â
Before the game, Antonio Brown and several other teammates wore customized cleats in honor of Shazier.

Shazier underwent spinal stabilization surgery, according to an announcement from the team:

âIâm not worried about him playing for us again, Iâm more worried about him,â Steelers defensive coordinator Keith Butler said via the Post-Gazette. âYâall have been updated as much as we have. The thing that weâre hopeful for and prayerful for is that he comes back and heâll be OK. The football stuff is secondary. His life is a lot more important to me than football.â

Shazier was transported back to Pittsburgh to stay at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center:

âI really have no update in terms of his medical status other than what was released earlier,â Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin told reporters. âI would imagine at the appropriate time that those who are responsible for his care will give you a reasonable assessment of where he is.

The best wig brands for natural-looking styles in 2019
When I discovered wigs, nothing was the same as before. (I'm sure Zendaya and Kylie would agree with Jenner.) They make it incredibly easy to experiment with virtually any look while keeping your natural strands away from the elements. More importantly, they do not require a long-term commitment or a hairdressing experience. I know that I speak for many when I say that they are the best kind of accessory, especially if you actually invest in the best wig brands. Besides, nothing feels better than being able to change his actions as often as changing his outfits, even if it puts a little time into everyday life.
Whether you're looking to invest in a new signature look or spice up a monotone mood, I recommend keeping some of these top notch devices available. You never know when a hair crisis comes up, but if you have a wig on hand, that's the least worry. From affordable shortcuts to long and luxurious locks, here are 14 of the most natural wigs that will make anyone think it's right.

Wigs are not reserved for long-haired hairstyles. Testing a short hairstyle is a good reason to buy a new wig. The shorter the wig, the lower the care. When it comes to wigs, it makes the experience more satisfying when you have to do less.
