Fire dances around him, hot and bright orange and ever hungry for more, and Syaoran looks on impassively as yet another world turns to ash around him. 

He used to feel something, once, he thinks dispassionately, the fingers of his empty hand reaching for the flames, stopping when the heat is just this side of uncomfortable. He used to feel sad and rageful when he stumbled upon such an injustice. Such a tragedy.

Now he feels… nothing. 

It's okay, he supposes, because what use are emotions, what good is grief, when he needs to gather the princess' feathers, no matter the cost, no matter the sacrifices? 

He has to gather them all. He must. It's imperative. Burning, crumbling worlds don't matter.

Screams filled the air earlier - screams of pain, of horror, of despair - but now there's just silence, and the almost rhythmic snap-crackle of the endless, scorching fire. Now, there's only the scent of death and decay and cooked meat.

Syaoran summons a portal and steps through it to the next world without looking back.

A whole 8.5kms from our own apartment.

We finally followed the masses and had our own staycation at Raffles Hotel, while the boy is celebrating IB & graduation in Koh Samui, Thailand with his friends.

trong suy nghĩ tôi, nghệ thuật, là tự nó thể hiện.

người nghệ sĩ là kẻ đưa ý niệm của mình ra cho công chúng. công chúng sẽ nghiễm nhiên trở thành kẻ định nghĩa nghệ thuật.

tôi

ngắm một bức ảnh. bức ảnh bên trái có thể tự thân nó trở thành một tác phẩm dựa trên ý niệm của người nghệ sĩ, vô tình hay cố ý. bức bên phải, kể một câu chuyện phức tạp hơn, qua con mắt của một kẻ chiêm ngưỡng khác, với ý niệm được bộc lộ rõ ràng qua câu từ đính kèm bức ảnh trái, và mổ xẻ nó theo quan điểm kẻ chiêm ngưỡng. hai tấm hình giờ đây trở thành một tác phẩm, theo tôi, với tác giả là kẻ chiêm ngưỡng kia. kẻ chiêm ngưỡng, vô tình hay cố ý, đã đưa sản phẩm nguyên gốc lên một tầm cao mới, với 2 tác phẩm nối tiếp nhau tạo thành một tác phẩm. ta có thể xét riêng từng tác phẩm như một thực thể độc lập? và có thể viện dẫn công lao của kẻ tạo tác ban đầu? hay kẻ tạo tác ban đầu đó, cũng đang vô tình hay cố ý, thể hiện một ý niệm nào đó được dẫn từ kẻ khác, hay kẻ tạo tác kia cũng là một công chúng.

và như thế, tôi, công chúng, đã định nghĩa một nghệ thuật của riêng tôi.
