No news that you haven't seen already coming from the Gaza Strip. IOF committed another 6 massacres just today, prices are still going up, the aid is still (almost) not getting through the occupation blockage. The Zionist forces including US administration still continue to obscure the genocide with empty promises of peace at best and with promises of total annihilation of Gaza at worst.

Falastin's family were displaced more than 50 times just in the last year. They are still in Al-Mawasi for now, they still live in a tent that will not shelter them from winter cold, they still need funds to just survive. You can see what they are forced to live with in this post [here]. They survived previous winter, but since then they some possessions with each displacement and are now not sure if they can survive this one. Please prove them wrong; please help them to see the next spring.

Her 24 family members need money for:

medicine for infections and for Falastin's 73 y.o. mother

CAMPAIGN VERY LOW ON FUNDS 🚨

Laila (@laylaayman-blog) reached out to me for help with her campaign. She is a young mother with a one-and-a-half y.o daughter named Sally. She is also 7 months pregnant with a son.

Laila and her family have been displaced, and like everyone else, are living through unimaginable conditions right now. Everything is expensive, and they're struggling to survive. These are conditions no one should have to live through, let alone someone 7-months-pregnant.

To make matters worse, Laila's phone is broken. This makes it exceedingly difficult to communicate with people overseas and ask for help. She's forced to borrow her family members' phones when possible. Fundraising online is already an uphill battle, and this makes it even more difficult.

As of right now, Laila's campaign has only raised 631 USD.

And yet, Laila has given up on buying a new phone, in order to prioritize urgent necessities like food and clothing for her daughter.

Pedro is a 34~ years old (as of post USUM event) trainer who joined Team Plasma at 20 y.o , before the organisation becoming very vocal.

Pedro is born n Dendemille Town , Kalos , from a Kalosian mother and Paldean father , and got to meet his older half-brother of 15 years , Atmet.

Pedro's mother left the household when he was around 10 , due to the violence of his father , and did not come back to take him with her , he grew up with his brother as his parental figure and was finally freed from his father abuse at 12 when Atment left the region illegally with Pedro after saving enough money to move in Unova.

While in Unova , his brother spent half of his time working , and studying to meet their needs , and Pedro quickly felt alone and bored. He knew he wasn't in physical danger no more , but somehow felt an emptiness in his heart that couldn't be filled by anything but violence , toward himself or the other.

Despite all the effort of Atmet to find time to be emotionally avalaible , it didn't worked out and Pedro fell into the promises of Team Plasma.

Here , he would have a roof without the fear of not having to eat for the next 24 hour and he wouldn't feel like a burden. Even more , he would have a purpose , and a good one at that.

He tried to make Atmet follow him , so they could still be together , but his older brother knew it was fishy and tried to force him to get away , but it only made Pedro wanting to leave even more.

At first he enjoyed seeing Atmet struggling to get him back and felt like he was finally valuable , but he slowly started to fell for the brainwashing and to think that his brother was wrong to not fight from the same ideas and basically cut all contact when he was 17.

He was quickly seen as one of the most violent grunt in the Team , but somehow managed to be violent only against the other grunt he thought where "not working hard enough" , avoiding being kicked out by Bronius or Gorm

His pokemon team for the first years only consisted in one singular Joltik that his brother caught for him to keep him company when they moved in Unova. He managed to train him to be a valuable asset for the team , despite his unevolved form.

When years laters , Plasma was getting more and more on the front of the news , Atmet tried to reach out again , only to get his letters back , and to get ignored.

Pedro grew pretty close to Ghetsis and Zinzolin when he was around 26, as he was now working WITH them directly (he never met them before that point and was under the supervision of Bronius and Gorm )

At the fall of Team Plasma , Pedro was already giving his life to Ghetsis and refused to follow Rood.

His goal wasn't liberating pokemon anymore , but just to stay wherever Ghetsis needed him to be , and to do whatever he wanted him to do. And what Ghetsis asked him to do was to spy on the Team Flare. He somehow knew something big might happen but couldn't know what exactly , and Pedro was the perfect person to infiltrate a ginger kalosian group. Pedro stayed for a few month before being kicked out for simping over Ghetsis in front of Lysandre.

During the events of BW2 , he grew very fond of Zinzolin , they finally got together , making Ghetsis pretty happy to not be stalked by a weird ginger kalosian man any time he was out of his office.

When Ghetsis lost his final battle against Nate and left , Pedro felt like his whole world collapsed. Despite Zinzolin trying to get his head out of the water , Pedro couldn't think about anything else than finding Ghetsis again.

He left , travelling across regions , with Zinzolin to find his former Lord , despite all the effort of his partner to stop him.

Facts:

-He can't swim

-He likes to trauma-dump on people just to make them uneasy

-He likes knitting

-He is auDHD and his special interest is moss

-He can't sleep alone and really misses the grunt dorms now that Team Plasma is gone

-He likes to do trendy dances around Ghetsis to piss him off , and forced Ghetsis to learn the apple dance. (Ghetsis accepted after weeks of Pedro whining)

-He has a notebook where he reports all his injuries , and another one where he reports all the weirdest thing he ate

-He make up new stories about how he lost his eyelid everytime someone ask.

-He misses croissant break in Team Flare so bad.

-He calls Ghetsis "Ghetsis le beau gosse" and told him it was a title of nobility in Kalossian. Zinzolin is dying from the inside everytime Ghetsis looks happy to hear his nickname.

Relations :

Natural : While I think N is too kind to feel hatred , Pedro isn't. He hates N solely because Ghetsis does too. N however doesn't really know Pedro as he wasn't one of the grunt asked to follow him around during his mission as the King of Plasma.

Anthea : Anthea does not like Pedro , as she saw him multiple time praising Ghetsis behavior despite his cruelty. She believes in people being able to change , but struggles to think Pedro or any Neo-plasma member can be good one day.

Concordia : She would fist fight Pedro and win at any moment. She hates him because she feels like she has to protect her sister and her brother and that if they don't hate neo-plasma grunt , then she have to hate them even harder to make up for it.

Shadow Triad : As @williceunleashed once said : they are basically seen as furniture in Team plasma , so Pedro didn't get really close to them , but he do like their loyalty to Ghetsis and that's about it.

Zinzolin : They are in love , and their relation is a love-"hate" one. They jokingly bully and tease each other all the time , and they are both toxic so they are meant to be together. Zinzolin is a bit more romantic and concerned about Pedro mental health than the opposite , however Pedro could beat up someone if they dared to harm Zinzolin. (they got together only at the beginning of BW2)

Atmet : Pedro feels very conflicted , part of him is hating him . Hating him because he didn't join Plasma when Pedro asked , and hating him because he tried to "save him from the cult" even years after. But at the same time , another part of him misses his brother and wishes to be reunited , however his ego and his pride are huge and he cannot even think about apologizing yet.

Braxton : They were once friends in the grunt dorm , but slowly Pedro noticed that Braxton actually believed more in the cause than in Ghetsis and when Team Plasma broke in two , Pedro lost all appreciation for his former friend.

Ramzi : Beside Zinzolin and Ghetsis , Ramzi would be Pedro's favorite person. Pedro was actually sad to leave Team flare just because it meant leaving Ramzi behind. They haven't talked or written to each other since Pedro got back into Team Neo-Plasma.

Colress : Pedro hates him solely on the basis that Colress betrayed Ghetsis , and Colress dislikes Pedro for his character and his behavior against his brother.

Ghetsis : Pedro loves Ghetsis , and everyone knows that. He would do anything to just be seen as the best grunt he ever had. They actually are what could be considered friends , but the power imbalance is way too important for them to be "normal friends". Ghetsis actually used Pedro's blind loyalty against him multiple time.

Atmet :

Atmet is 49 years old scientist.

He was born in Medali , Paldea , and grew up here for 15 years before leaving with his father to Kalos .

He met his stepmother here and wasn't yet able to communicate with her. He slowly had to learn Kalosian when Pedro was born because his stepmother talked to him solely in Kalosian and his father barely bothered teaching him words.

He was quickly parentified and had to take care of his brother , even more so when his stepmother left when he was 25.

Since his 18 years old , Atmet started to work , to save up money. He almost was kicked out of the house when his father learned about his transidentity , but managed to stay by being the one bringing the money home.

He endured for almost a decade until he had enough saving to leave for Unova , taking his younger brother with him.

He choose Unova not only because of the distance , but because he always wanted to study here , and that he was interested in some pokemon found here. He quickly started working to put food on their plates.

He struggled balancing work , classes and being emotionally available enough for his brother. He brushed off some of the signs that Pedro wasn't doing well and was going to leave , and one day was surprised by Pedro gathering what he could to leave for Team Plasma.

Atmet tried to change his mind , but Pedro was almost an adult , and Atmet was not legally his parent or his caretaker and therefore couldn't ask for help from the justice without exposing himself.

(Despite Pedro agreeing , what Atmet did would be deemed as kidnapping by the justice . Even if it was to save him from violent parental abuse)

Atmet had to leave Unova to avoid jail time after being almost caught for fraud , data theft , stealing documents...

Atmet started his long period of travelling regions to regions , to try to finance his research , to find something that mattered.

He even joigned Team Magma , with the goal of getting his project financed by Maxie , by trying to get him on his side. Maxie didn't appreciated being used and told him to fuck off basically.

He was in Kalos when he heard about Plasma on the news for the first time (BW1 events ) , and he tried to reach out again to Pedro , now that he could finally do it , only to be rejected.

It destroyed him utterly but he kept trying , even hoping that the downfall of Team Plasma would bring back Pedro to reality , only for him to join Neo-Plasma right away.

Atmet tried again to get him back , but Pedro tried to order his Joltik to kill him , sealing the fact that they will never be brothers ever again.

Atmet ultimately left , defeated , and only heard about team plasma again after moving to Alola.

There , he met Colress , and they grew fond of each other , sharing interest.

One of the first pokemon he caught on Alola was a Minior , that ultimately died from being exposed to the world. Struck by grief , Atmet decided that he would create something capable to keep Minior alive, even out of the pokeball.

He bought transparent poke balls , and luxury balls to study their functionement , only to be able to mix them together so he could keep his Minior in a safe space until he found a way to keep them alive freely.

He also associated himself with the Aether Fundation , and like Wicke , wasn't aware of Lusamine plan.

Facts :

-When he is in Kalos , he always makes a little detour to Mt Moon so his clefairy can vibe.

-He choose his name by contracting Atmosphere and Meteor and that's dramatic.

-He ugly cries very easily

-He hates honey more than anything

-Everyone knows he is autistic but him.

-He stills buys alolan magnet in tourist shop despite living here for years

-He really wants to go into an Ultra Wormhole

-He caught a Gothita to study its whole evolutionary line and was flabbergasted to see how bad the legs of Gothitelle looked.

-His glasses are often used as a way to watch the sky , and the stars while being on the beach without getting his eyes assaulted by sand.

-He likes to mock Faba about him being retrograded to an intern by showing him his pass.

-Someone once compared his glasses to Faba's and he got so mad he broke a piece of his teeth by clenching his jaws.

Ghetsis : One sided hatred since Ghetsis doesn't know Atmet.

Faba : It's just a basic love-hate relationship , they tend to tease each other and to be mad at each other a lot but somehow still appreciate the other. Appreciate each other in another way than friendship.

Colress : They love to infodump on each other all the time and a serial yappers. They care for each other alot , despite their unconventional morals . They both are chaotic neutral at the end of the day. Colress once gave a shiny Minior to Atmet as a birthday gift , Atmet cried so much he forgot to breath.

Molayne : They don't see each other every day , but Atmet often spends week at the Hokulani Observatory and they like to just discuss about new discoveries or about their thoughts.

Maxie : Maxie is still mad at Atmet , Atmet still feels guilty to have used him for money.

Pedro : Atmet loves his brother , and he misses him a lot , and often thinks about it and still sends him letters without knowing if he get them or not. But at the same time , since the day Pedro ordered Joltik to electroctue him , Atmet is afraid , he fears that his brother might actually want him dead

Sophocles : Atmet finds Sophocles adorable and somehow he reminds him of his brother. He likes to spend time with Sophocles too when he visits Molayne and to show him his sky pictures.

Lusamine : Atmet somehow despises her , after learning what she did to her kids , but haven't told her. They only see each other at random time in the Aether Foundation and Atmet would much rather be able to go the lab than to stir up drama with someone capable to do what Lusamine did.

Wicke : She is a nice person and Atmet appreciate talking to her. She reminds him of the smell of orange juice and buttered bread somehow and he appreciates that.

Braxton :

Braxton is a 30~ year old worker. He was born in Motostoke , Galar and left to Unova when he was around 18.

He has little contact with his family , out of shame of leaving without listening to their warning and falling for a cult. At the end of the day , it's not his fault but his brain can't comprehend that.

He joined Team Plasma at 17 after falling from terrible height seeing that life wouldn't be as good as he imagined when he left for Unova , he wasn't able to keep a job , to get anything he wanted done and just felt like leaving a new life as his new self was a failure.

After finding a goal in Team plasma , he thought his life would have a meaning , only for his goal to shatter at the end of the BW1 events.

He stayed some time in the safehouse in driftveil city , eaten up by guilt. He was afraid to hurt someone again , to a bad choice , to be mistaken again.

He only got a job in Clay's mine to be able to eat and have a place to live by himself as the safehouse reminded him too much of the failure that was Team Plasma. Rood understood and let him go.

After some month of working , he realized that it wasn't even enough to take his mind off of what happened , that's when Clay told him he needed therapy , like yesterday.

Braxton followed through , and was slowly getting better , despite knowing he will never be back to his old self.

Clay told him to take a year off , to do some gyms , to travel a bit before going back to work and it helped him greatly. It was in this period that he saw in Clay more than his boss , but started to see him as a friend.

That's also when he realized that Clay slowly , subtly helped him getting a social circle by giving him weird "work " mission to do , such as bringing worthless rock to be estimated by Lenora , bringing supplies to Burgh , getting a training session with Brycen so Braxton could help in the Gym...

While he still struggled with guilt , fear and intrusives thought , Braxton managed to find the stability he hoped for.

He spent a lot of time hanging around the gym and got very close to some of them.

Facts :

-His favorite pokemon ever is snom. He wanted to have one but feels guilty about bringing non-native pokemon in Unova. Clay however did not and gifted him one

-He has OCD , his themes being mostly harm OCD and moral/scrupulosity OCD

-He feels so overly guilty about having hurt people in the past by stealing their pokemons.

-He rarely battles

-Despite helping Rood from time to time, he refuses to get to close , fearing that he might be lying like Ghetsis

-He always says Galarian Gym have a better public than Unovian but really love the concept of themed Gym

-He evolved his liepard by letting him train by itself, since he avoids battle when he can. He prefers to cuddle it.

-He is deeply afraid of snake-like Pokémon because he was bitten by a Silicobra.

-He likes to exercise a lot.

-He does dye his hair but no one know which of the two color is the natural one.

-He eats snow

-He tried many instruments in his life , but was never good at music

-He is REALLY good at cooking

Ghetsis : It's pretty much nightmare fuel for Braxton and he tries to erase Ghetsis from his life to no avail , it felt like this period his burned on his back.

Natural : He is a bit afraid of the King of Team Plasma , but he hopes that N is doing well and that he is healing and thriving.

Brycen : On the advices of Clay and Alder , Braxton took some battle lessons from Brycen to help himself understand his pokémon better and to be a more fitting trainer for his newly acquired snom. He admires Brycan a lot , and Brycen finds him kind.

Lenora : They both like each other , but Braxton is still a bit too shy to ask her verbally if they could be considered friend , as he fears it might look childish.

Clay : They are very close , and while they only started as boss and employee , they have now a deep connection.

Looker : Looker appreciate Braxton honesty while they were trying to find the hidden sage , but Braxton feels neutral about Looker , because he does think it is a bit too late to catch them as the harm is already done. But he is still glad Looker took time to listening to him , he just struggle to give his trust easily.

Pedro : A former friend , that now terrifies him. He wishes to never see him again because he can't comprehend how someone could become like that , and how someone could still follow Ghetsis after all that. It's terrifying to him because he is a afraid he could have done the same as Pedro .

Alder : He finds him supportive and nice and Alder is pretty much very chill.

Zinzolin : Braxton is terrified of a man that would follow another man like Ghetsis just to see " what happens if he wins". Zinzolin dislikes a traitor.

Rood : While Braxton likes Rood , he can't help but fearing getting to close. He feels guilty about it but "what if Rood is lying too?" is a thought that keep spinning in his mind.

Grimsley : They are in a relationship , and while it looks very random , they actually met multiple time after Braxton lost against him in the League. They like friendly bullying.

Ramzi :

Ramzi is a 32~years old Team Flare member . He was born iniKiloude City , Kalos , but moved in Lumiose when he was very young with his family.

He comes from a relatively wealthy background and pretty much had anything material set up for him as he grew up , but he lacked genuine connection with his family and always felt like the black sheep and wasn't good at school either.

Growing up , he started to disagree more and more with his family values and how they were looking at the middle class and worker class with disdain. It was only natural for him when he heard about Lysandre , a philanthropist rich guy , to agree with him in every way.

He heard around the Lysandre Cafe about Team Flare , part of their goal and who was the one to direct it. He quickly decided to join , stealing part of his parents money to buy his admission in the group.

By doing so , he burnt any link he had left with his family.

After quite some time hanging around Lysandre and the scientist , Ramzi grew close to his boss , and the feeling was mutual.

He also realized something as the month got by , that Lysandre was loosing his mind slowly but surely and that he had to something to avoid his partner irrational thoughts to become a reality.

When Serena and Pia managed to infiltrate the HQ and to battle Xerosic , Ramzi was absolutely flabbergasted to hear that the scientist disobeyed Lysandre and opened the Weapon anyway.

He felt like something snapped in his partner and had to fight him to stop him from doing something irreparable.

After what felt like hours , Lysandre reluctently agreed to be arrested , so did Ramzi.

Lysandre was likely judged criminally insane and had to go through therapy and probably for life.

Month goes by , and Ramzi and Lysandre heard about Xerosic messing up stuff , and they met Looker and Emma , willing to help to aleviate their own guilt.

The whole ordeal took a toll on their mental health , especially Lysandre that tried so hard to rewire his brain into thinking humans were ultimately worth of being helped.

They saw Xerosic taking advantage of a young girl with barely any knowledge about life outside the street , they saw the father figure of this same girl leaving once his work was done and they both almost felt like Team Flare was right all along and that human were rotten to the core.

They both agreed to take care of Emma , worried she might grew up to hate humans too.

Two years later , they reformed Team Flare , with other members and another respectable goal : Helping what they swore to destroy years priors.

Facts :

-Ramzi loves red and orange , and only choose his pokemon based on that.

-He is a big fan of drag shows and loves to see creative people.

-His favorite berries are Roseli Berries.

-Despite not having lived in the south of Kalos for too long , he still passionately defend the word "Chocolatine" over "Pain au Chocolat" and it's a source of funny arguments between him and Lysandre

-His natural hair color is a mystery and he hates taking off his glasses.

Relations :

Bryony : While Bryony do not care about Ramzi , Ramzi appreciate her style and her work ethics. He wished her and Celosia would just kiss already.

Aliana : Aliana dislikes his proximity to Lysandre and Ramzi just doesn't mind her that much

Sycamore : While Sycamore likes Ramzi for getting Lysandre back to his "former self" or at least close to it , Ramzi feels a bit uneasy around him , first of all because Sycamore is clearly simping of HIS partner , and also because he wonders how could Sycamore could have just let Lysandre get this far if he had known him for so long.

Malva : Malva genuinely appreciate the effort of Ramzi into helping Team Flare and Lysandre , and his effort to make the name not a shameful thing only. Ramzi likes her loyalty to Lysandre , but also is scared of her because she would probably kill someone if she wanted to.

Lysandre : While their relationship was complicated , they both need each other to thrive and to grow , but they almost become co dependant. Ramzi is often worried about Lysandre , and tend to follow him everywhere. Lysandre doesn't mind it as he fears being alone with his thoughts ever again. They both need therapy.

Pia : Ramzi is a big fan of Pia's art , and he thinks she is so cool and interesting despite her trying to kick his ass in the Flare HQ. Pia thinks Ramzi is dumb , lame , and that his hair looks stupid.

Pedro : Pedro was a flare grunt for a short time , but they both grew close. While Pedro still cherish his friendship with all his heart , Ramzi doesn't feel great calling him a friend as he heard about the news about Plasma wrongdoing. However he can't help having some affection left from his time with Team Flare. He doesn't want to reconnect with Pedro to avoid messing up his memories , and Pedro is only focused on Ghetsis at the end of BW2.

Emma : That's his daughter and if someone dares to hurt her then someone must DIE. Emma sees him more as a older brother than a father.

Looker : While Looker appreciate the honesty of Ramzi and his will to take care of Emma , Ramzi berates him for leaving.

Xerosic : Ramzi once loved Xerosic , found him funny and interesting , but now he only despises and fears him. He is very glad that he got arrested but he can't even comprehend how could someone do what Xerosic as done.

Celosia : Celosia is hard working and also she got some sass and Ramzi really find her cool. They spent time together in the HQ , trying to see who was lame or not in the team. (spoiler : they both were)

Mable : She hates the fact that Ramzi might get more praised than her , and she got some ego. Ramzi finds her immature but not enough to care.

(I use the scientists from the manga and the game for the girlies because we literally barely have any content for them in the game and it's so annoying :( )

Pia :

Pia is a 23 y.o artist , born in Cyllage City , Kalos.

She grew up with a family that was pretty much overwhelmed with her needs as a disabled kid. She had a tendency to run away a lot and that's how she met her Spritzee when she was 12. It helped her out of meltdown and her parents agreed to keep it , despite it refusing to get inside a pokeball.

She only used unown-writing as a communication tool as a child , forcing her parents to learn it , but it helped greatly with creating bond and made their familial dynamic better. When she was 10 , her aunt decided to take her to Ruins of Alph for their vacations in Johto and that's how Pia decided her aunt was the greatest person in the world.

She grew up watching art show , reading , performing and spending her summers at her wine aunt place in Lumiose city. When she was 20 , she moved in with her aunt , and started an apprenticeship to be a furfrou groomer. It didn't worked out well but she adopted a furfrou near this time and she loves him dearly.

She decided to take on the league challenge , and met all kind of people , but also helped greatly in taking down the Team Flare , making her even more famous. She already got some fame from being a well appreciated performer , but now it was pretty much through the roof.

She even grew closer to the journalist that was following her around from time to time.

Facts :

-The letters she chose for her Unowns have a signification

-She groom her furfrou now and then , but always try to invent new haircuts.

-She got into fist fight multiple time. She is pretty good until she get touched. (she has 0 defense)

-She refuse to elaborate on her haircut.

-She has advanced knowledge on unowns and thinks they are neat.

-She can't wear nail polish or she'll cry and roll on the floor screaming in horror.

-Her favorite place to visite outside of Kalos is Johto , that's also where her grandmother lives.

-Her aunt is a wine aunt and Pia aspire to be like her when she reaches her fortys.

-She caught all the unown form and is searching for shinies when she travels.

-She only use honor ball just because they are cool looking.

-She is often scared that Spritzee might leave some day , but she can't catch it since it refuses to get inside the pokeball. Pia thinks the pokemon probably got a bad memory about getting caught.

-She got a lot of Pokemon themed objects and fidget toys , and she is always chewing on gums.

Relations :

Siebold : She likes him and she likes him specifically for the huge buffet he prepared when they won against Team Flare.

Drasna : She never saw a grandma slaying so hard and Pia wishes to look like her. Drasna is adorable and like anyone that is slightly nice.

Xerosic : Pia thinks he should die. Xerosic thinks Pia is an obstacle in his life.

Diantha : While Pia feels intimated by how pretty , intelligent , nice and perfect Diantha is , they are still very close and Pia is glad to have fought against her in the league , despite loosing. They even teamed up to take down Team Flare and Pia will never forget that.

Viola : They love each other , and Viola is basically her best friend and her step-sister. They just love to talk about their special interest for hour while Alexa is standing there , waiting.

Alexa : Alexa loves Pia , Pia loves Alexa , and they both are meant for each other. They both help each other , and take care of each other. Alexa loves to teach Pia stuff about journalism , and talk about what she learned , and Pia loves to show her unown images.

Lysandre : Lysandre is thankfull that Pia stopped him before it was too late and fought against his ideas. Pia thinks he still should be in jail and she is terrified he might do something like that again.

Serena : Pia considers her like a heroic baby and she is VERY proud of her for joining the fight against Team flare. Serena doesn't have the same amount of affection for Pia as she rarely sees her , but she admires her.

Malva : Malva hates Pia with all her might because she didn't tried to save Lysandre , but tried to take him down. Pia never interacted much with Malva but she clearly isn't fond of her.

Ramzi : Ramzi is a big fan of Pia's art and he thinks she is cool. Pia thinks he is a stupid idiot that owns only one brain cell and that it's not even a working one.

Wikstorm : That's Pia's babygirl. Pia loves him very much and dearly , they are best friends at this point. Pia loves to hear him yap about history and she thinks his haircut is outrageous but wouldn't tell him because she couldn't handle him looking even slightly sad.

Important event change  in the AU:

Ending of Team Flare :

While all the events about Team Flare where the same as in the game , the ending is different.

In my headcanon , Lysandre is not evil by definition as he doesn't mean to hurt for the pleasure of hurting or to gain something for himself only. In my opinion , he suffers from a violent mental crisis and is ill.

Unlike Cyrus who has a similar goal , Lysandre is REALLY persuaded that it's for the greater good and is willing to die to achieve it , while Cyrus knows he is manipulating his team and just want the world to himself as *he* wants it to be.

While both are clearly suffering , I would say Cyrus is fully conscious about what he is going to do and almost see it as a revenge against a world that hurted him.

Lysandre however does not seem conscious about how irrational he is and how HE is the impending doom he is so scared off.

-he is willing to die for his ideas-

Lysandre makes me think of those people killing because they hallucinated something or someone telling them to do it to save the world , which is something that put someone in the case "criminally insane" as their ultimate goal was not the murder but to avoid a tragedy that their mind made up itself , and I totally think Lysandre would be classified as criminally insane too.

You see him during the game getting more and more delusional and even scared and distressed about what he is about to do. He even gives you the option to not fire the weapon to avoid having the doom fall of the world on his shoulders , only to be betrayed by Xerosic.

And what happens when Xerosic betrays him ? His mind snap , he has to do it he can't go back it's a sign he HAS to do it. He even is willing to kill himself to save a world he GENUINELY thinks is in danger. You can see how in the span of hours he just became a mess , and all his ideas collapses and merge and even him doesn't understand what he is doing.

He genuinely believes that this is the only solution , the ultimate good choice to save the world from the doom his mind made up.

And that is the only way I can even imagine the writing of Pokemon XY being somewhat "logical".

Onto my AU :

Ramzi realizes that Lysandre isn't going well ,that something in his brain is ultimately going wrong and he doesn't care about the cause or the "why" , all he cares about is saving Lysandre from himself and saving the world at the same time.

He knows that Lysandre is probably as terrified as he is , and alongs Pia , Serena and Diantha , they manages to stop his team and Lysandre himself altogether.

Team Flare is ultimately broken up when Lysandre agrees to follow Looker , and Ramzi never leaves his side.

Lysandre is judged to be criminally insane , and is obligated to be in therapy and to be evaluated every now and then to avoid him getting that delusional and irrational and out of reality again.

Ramzi actually stood by his side and assured that he could heal properly and get back to a more stable state than the one he was in when he decided to save the world from impending doom by BEING the impending doom itself.

Ramzi didn't wanted to break Team Flare down suddenly but asked Lysandre if he could take the lead for a moment to try to undo all the wrongs they had done. Lysandre accepts , and make Ramzi the new leader of Team Flare.

They both still suffer from huge amount of guilt about the past actions of Team Flare and Lysandre often is scared of letting himself get that intense and irrational about something

Xerosic on the other hand is taken responsible for activating the weapon and feeding Lysandre delusion to achieve his own morbid goals. He is quickly arrested after the Emma's events.

Ultimately , Lysandre and Ramziu slowly get back into society , Lysandre looses owner ship over his cafe , the holo cast and pretty much any sponsors he had and fell into some depressive state.

Ramzi tries his best to get him to feel better , and thinks it's a good thing for Lysandre to not have that much responsibility over anyone.

Obviously it is not a perfect good ending , Lysandre is still despised by most people , Ramzi too by definition.

ULTIMATE HARMONIA AU

After acknowledging the real intentions of his former-father Ghetsis , N was thrown out of the castle while Ghetsis would try to groom another person to find the remaining stone for him to use.

N , lost , with barely any time to process what just happened to him , his ideal , stumbled upon a man who swore with passion to get rid of the filth in the present world.

Seeking what he always knew was the truth , he decided to learn more about Lysandre , his stance about humans , and Pokémon alike.

Sure enough , since the timeline in BW2 is similar to the one in X/Y , Lysandre obviously heard about Team Plasma , probably even believed in their cause in the beginning : at the end of the day , he does hate the idea of Pokemon remaining mere tools for humans to use as they wish.

He heard about the downfall , about how Ghetsis lied to everyone before vanishing , letting all his puppets behind and also his son.

He despised the man , but actually praised his ideas.

When N and Lysandre finally interacted , when Lysandre understood where N was coming from , it was only logical for them to unite and share their mutual thoughts.

""I'm sure you understand that Pokémon are not tools for humans to fight each other with."

"And that people who do think that Pokémon are tools are beyond saving, no matter how hard you try." (Lysandre in game (master ex ) quotes)

N wouldn't accept Lysandre ideas of removing Pokemon from the world and letting only a few humans alive to avoid the Pokemon abuse , and wouldn't take much for him to make Lysandre change his mind as well :

N is saying the truth : the only problem is the story are the trainers , not the Pokémon.

They would become allies , joining their ideals , and get lost former-Plasma grunt on their side.

The Ultimate Weapon would be used , but they would have to find a way to make it work as they wanted it too : to eradicate only the very thing that threaten both of their ideals : Humans.

A lot of times I can't properly start a project unless I nail down a timeline, to adequately portray maturity+experiences for certain ages. For my own reference, here are some snippets and observations from Sealed in Dust to cement MC's age as well as digging further into her relationship with Caleb, Josephine and Zayne.

First thing first: this confirms that these logs started 14 years ago, coinciding with the Chronoshift Disaster. If we take into account the current ages of Zayne and Caleb, that would put Zayne at 13 and Caleb at 11. I thought Zayne met MC at 12 so I'll double-check that? It's close enough.

It's cut off, but Josephine says MC "could easily be in fifth grade." Dunno what this is in other translations, but for the US, a 5th grader can be anywhere from 9-12 depending on birthday and when they started kindergarten. Caleb's already 11 and we know he's older, and I imagine MC must be notably younger for Josephine to make this observation. So I'm putting her age at 7 when these logs started, and 21 when the story starts. This log is also the second, albeit controlled, 'death' that we know of for the MC in the current timeline; the first one was an accident supposedly triggered by a researcher "mishandling" her.

tbh, I was hoping to put the MC at 24 for my own purposes, as she matches the energy of Rafayel's current "age", but 21 is a challenge I can live with. I'm not sure any other age would make sense to match with what we have in canon.

I also find the nickname of "Little Bomb" very telling. Considering the trailer's mention of how they were made to destroy each other (paraphrasing here), Caleb containing MC in a gravitational field would ideally restrict the destruction of her energy flux. (I am also very much thinking of Mag Warframe's Magnetize ability, though I suppose Caleb's would be more akin to a controlled black hole.)

I'm 99% positive this should have been "But with her and Caleb..." Josephone notably is also an orphan/otherwise without family as stated here, so I can plainly see how her guilt led to her taking in MC and Caleb.

And years later, reconnecting with Zayne who's made great strides in the field of cardiovascular research, to trust him with her secrets.

This also could confirm that Caleb indeed also grew up in the Gaia Research Lab with MC, and likely witnessed her death/rebirth and losing her memories, which would lead to him being protective of her early on. We don't know what happened to him during the Chronoshift Catastrophe (where MC was saved by Xavier and placed in a shelter I believe?), but given that Josephine looked for MC, she probably did the same for Caleb.

Gaia: the Greek personification of Earth, the ancestral mother of all life (on Earth). Also generally used as a term for early Earth, which adds to the Adam and Eve symbolism Caleb and MC have going on.

I had taken some other screens but I think it just marked Josephine's observations taking place over a month and a half after the first death. Anyway, I'm not exactly thrilled with probably portraying my own MC as a young 21-22 y.o., but it does bring up an interesting question.

Namely, just what is the turnover for Hunters, for them to be sent on such dangerous missions fresh out of the Academy? I know obviously that military recruitment begins at 18 in most places but man.

She was born in the ocean surrounding the land known as the Queendom of Roses, in a cushy bay in the middle of the country. At least cushy compared to the rest of the open ocean, which was far more competetive when it came to survival. However, her mother was born in the Coral Sea. As a Parrotfish, her bright colors stood out against the deep blue, so though she was lucky to be born into a wealthy family which granted her some protections others didn't have, she was still forced to fight to survive. Her marriage to the heir of the Rondo family was what finally ensured her safety. Junia was born some years after, but her father died before he could meet her. Junia's mother then decided to move the two to the Queendom of Roses, where her mother ended up becoming a successful lawyer. Her plans for Junia, already fully formed at less than a year old, was for her to become an excellent student and find a good, stable career of her own. That way her mother could be sure she'd not only survive but further their family legacy.

When she got older and was supposed to start learning how to read, she tried her best, but could never make sense of it. The letters seemed to jump around and flow together, and she would sometimes need to spend 10 minutes just trying to read a poem. If she'd ever been taken to see a doctor about it, she would have been diagnosed with severe dyslexia, and also as being autistic, though the latter has nothing to do with her difficulty in learning to read and write. It took much more time and practice for her to be able to read than it took for her peers. Junia was also a very gullible person and tended to believe most things people said to her if they seemed somewhat plausible. She didn't doubt other people or consider that they could be lying, since the thought of someone operating in bad faith just never naturally crosses her mind. Some of the other children around her used this to pick on and even bully her. Because she had trouble reading both words and the room and was so gullible, everyone around her— including her mother— started calling her stupid. She started to believe it. As a child, people often remarked to her mother about how cute Junia was, and as she got older, they started calling her beautiful. Coupled with her reputation as being stupid, people whispered behind her back that her appearance was the only thing she had going for her. Her mother seemingly took this to heart and began raising Junia to be the perfect dim-witted, obedient housewife, since she hoped that at the very least maybe Junia could have a future as a trophy wife to fall back on if she couldn't get a good job with her own effort. Her mother told Junia that smiling made women beautiful, so Junia started smiling all the time. She told Junia that she was an ugly crier, so Junia stopped crying in front of others. She was never really able to make any friends, since her mother pressured her to spend as much time as possible studying. Whenever she tried to speak to other kids her age, she would always end up saying something that got her weird looks. Or she had trouble finding a gap in the conversation in which to speak, and since she had been taught that interrupting was rude, she ended up a quiet observer in the background enough times that she stopped wanting to try to talk to them. Instead, she grew very fond of animals, smaller fish with somewhat 'lesser' intelligence. For whatever reason, these fish always loved her, and so she would often spend time with them over her peers. These smaller fish who were sometimes sought out as prey returned the love she gave in full, and saw her for what she was, unlike other people who only saw what she lacked. People who saw how much time she spent with these creatures considered mere animals felt it only further confirmed their beliefs of her being an idiot. People began calling her 'Guppy' as an insulting nickname— akin to calling her a child and suggesting her intelligence was on par with one.

Junia had always loved to sing and play the harp, and wanted nothing more than to continue with her passions. She can actually read musical notes quite well, and has a really good musical memory, which means she can remember the lyrics even if she's only heard a song once or twice. However, her mother told her to stop, since she thought the songs Junia wrote and composed were too 'strange' or 'disturbing' or 'eccentric'. Being the obedient girl she was, Junia agreed to stop. She was even forbidden from humming in the house. As she became a little bit older, her mother became more and more concerned with finding a husband for her. This was when she started forbidding Junia from any and all self expression that she didn't approve of, which included her music, and Junia's love of an abundance of 'flower' patterns from the surface. She started preparing her and telling her about the things she would need to give up to be married. She must remain obedient and do exactly as her future husband says, in order to keep him happy. She must never do anything her future husband hasn't given her permission to do, she must never bother him with her worries, anxieties or insecurities, and never state her opinion on anything, in order to not risk disagreeing with him. She must be seen and never heard, unless spoken to, and her only value outside of having children is to make her husband look better by having a pretty, obedient wife. Basically, she must give up her entire personhood to be forever tied to someone she knows nothing about, and become little more than an accessory to someone else. Junia started to feel more and more as though she didn't want what her mother had decided for her and began dreading her future marriage, even though it wouldn't be until she was at least 18. But still, she said nothing. What could she even do about it anyway? She couldn't somehow convince her mother to allow her to not go through with it. If she decided to run away, she'd have nowhere to go, and would probably end up meeting with an even worse fate, since she's been so dependent on her mother her entire life that she has no idea how to survive on her own, having never been taught how. So, Junia started acting the way her mother told her an 'ideal woman' should.

Then one day, what she had dreaded seemed to come to pass. Her mother informed her that she had found a good suitor for her in the Coral Sea. And so they would be going there and staying for a month, so Junia could start getting used to the environment before meeting her husband-to-be. She was miserable every tail-flick of the way, and felt like she was being suffocated. She had to start to grapple with the fact that she would never be able to sing again. So the first chance she got, she snuck off into an empty area, bringing her harp with her, and started to sing a series of songs she'd been working on for years— something like her life's work. Her mother always said they were 'too creepy' so she knew she'd never get the chance to again. Unbeknownst to her, while she was singing song after song, she had a secret audience of three…

(They knew who she was. The Rondo family was quite well-known, at least in this part of the Coral Sea, and who would the Octomer be if he didn't do his research? They had also heard the widow and daughter of the previous head of the Rondo family were coming back to the Coral Sea after 18 years in order for said daughter to be politically married-off. Azul didn't take much note of it— at least not until the moment he happened upon her; tweets following behind after he'd been gone for a bit too long. The two first things that struck him were her bright tail and gorgeous singing voice. The ones that came later was her great conventual beauty, and the passion she seemed to have for each song she performed. Yet there was also a sadness reflected on her face every time she finished a song. He saw the facts:

These songs were quite…unconventional, or at least so a family as traditional as the Rondos and whatever company they were trying to marry into would believe.

She was here to be married, and did not seek very happy about it.

She seemed even more sad after finishing each song or having to go back for the day, suggesting she felt this was something of a swan-song to her love of music.

She was a girl with a reputation for being gullible, naïve; easily deceived. He smelled blood in the water and had Thaumarks in his eyes. He could use this. The tweels just snickered quietly behind him, matching his smirk.)

One day during her singing, when she had just finished a song, she heard a whistle, and clapping. Hands flying up to cover her mouth to cover not only a surprised squeal, but also the fact that whoever made that sound had heard her singing! She saw two eel mer slithering out of some nearby seaweed. They said they'd been listening to her sing, and wanted to keep hearing the story. Her eyes lit up with the stars ocean-residents never saw, and they knew it wouldn't be hard for Azul to convince her. They introduced themselves as 'Jade' and 'Floyd'— and only laughed or smiled each time she got their names mixed up. The louder one of the two even burst out laughing when she called him something WAY off the mark. He thought it was hilarious she was so bad with names, even though they'd started coming to listen to her sing every day.

There was something different about her when she had an audience. She was absolutely exuberant, and somehow put even more passion, emotion and effort into each and every song she sang. They thought she was interesting. She was clumsy, shockingly observant, skilled with her hands, oblivious, had 'etiquette school' written all over her and said the strangest things sometimes. She was like an open book— but one they couldn't predict. Without knowing it, she'd got their mental seal of approval.

As the day on which she would meet her future husband— and thus be forever trapped in a life she didn't want— was drawing near, she told her unexpected friends a bit about it. They obviously already knew thanks to Azul, but the confirmation was what made the three of them decide amongst themselves that it was time: she'd be taken to see Azul, and would most likely end up striking a deal with him.

Jade and Floyd had talked to Azul about what she was like before. Floyd often went on about 'Parrotfishie is so fun~!' and even Jade would smile and agree 'She certainly is interesting.' Azul, for his part, while not surprised at Floyd's opinion, was more startled that Jade agreed, given the latter often kept his feelings much closer to his chest. Everything they'd told him had him already prepared for her being a bit eccentric. But he was still surprised by her when he actually met her. She did say the strangest things sometimes. But she had this charm that always made her able to completely get away with it, cocking her head to the side in confusion, a surprised expression on her face when one of them laughed, asking with a confused, somewhat shocked voice if she'd said something weird. There was something comfortable about her presence, which he yet-again thought could be a great asset to them, and to his business.

When she was told that he was this 'sea witch' she'd sometimes heard whispers of, even back in the waters of the Queendom of Roses, she wasn't scared. She was surprised, even shocked, sure, but not scared. In fact, she seemed amazed, asking if it was true that he was really that good at granting wishes, saying that he was amazing with an expression of genuine awe.

And when it came time for the actual deal, she didn't try to haggle or negotiate the terms of the contract— she didn't even read it! It wasn't until much later that he would learn she couldn't read. Regardless, even knowing it might be dangerous, she had just laid everything she had in his hands, and was happy to do so, so long as she was still allowed to sing.

And thus, the contract was signed, and Junia Rondo never met her husband-to-be.

After signing her contract with Azul, a letter was sent to her mother. The specifics aren't important because Azul left a TL;DR on the first page in big, bold letters saying:

[The voice of Junia Rondo— and by extension Junia Rondo herself— is now the legal property of Azul Ashengrotto.]

And as Junia was 18 already, there was nothing the authorities could do about it.

She knew her mother was probably furious. But for once, she didn't care. She was too happy to be free.

Next thing she knew she went with Azul, Jade and Floyd to a sort of 'human boot camp' where, after drinking a transformation potion for the first time, they would be trained on how to live on land. They all struggled with the whole 'having legs' thing— none so more than Junia. It seems her clumsiness with everything but her fingers had come back in full force and even worsened now that she had legs. She couldn't even always manage to calibrate her own tail, so it was no surprise, really, that it took her almost twice as long as the other three to learn to use her legs effectively enough to not fall over. Well…fall over less. Baby steps. And she always had someone there to catch her. Though Azul, being used to eight limbs, also struggled more than the tweels. So at first when she stumbled into him, he stumbled as well, ending with them in a heap on the floor.

After completing their boot camp, Junia with the lowest marks— barely passing, but somehow good enough!— the four of them were enrolled into 'Night Raven College', a very prestigious magic school. Junia was a little worried at first about how she'd even get in, knowing it was an all-boys' school— would she have to crossdress? She wasn't super happy with the idea but she would do it if she had to! But then she just watched Azul hand over a big stack of Thaumarks to the Headmage and that was that. 'Oh.' was all she said, surprised it was really that easy.

At NRC:

Among the four of them in the Octavinelle Quartet, Junia was the one who took the longest to acclimate to walking on legs as opposed to swimming with a tail. In fact, even into her second year, she still tripped quite often. And so, Azul mostly had her working taking orders and showing people their seats. Because for as cute as her clumsiness could be, having to constantly replace plates and glasses she'd dropped and shattered was really draining his budget for the Mostro Lounge.

On Saturdays and Sundays, Junia would do almost nothing but sing at the Mostro Lounge. And on Sunday nights, she was allowed to sing songs she herself had written— ones that were way more experimental, intent to tell a story rather than just be a nice background song. And these nights became massive hits! A lot of people would come to watch just to see the next part of the story! And of course Azul capitalized on this, offering special offers on Sunday nights that lead to Mostro Lounge's business going up a lot!

She feels incredibly grateful to Azul for giving her a chance to not only share her music with others, but also for taking her with him to NRC despite the fact female students aren't typically allowed. She's gotten to meet so many different kinds of people there! And at a school with so many strange people, she feels right at home, instead of like the misfit she always felt like she was at home. And being away from her mother, she feels happier and more confident than ever. She's slowly starting to find out about strengths of hers that aren't just how 'pretty' she is.

But...she does also still feel very self-conscious of how 'stupid' she feels like she is. She had to get Azul's help in order to have the staff agree to a deal where she could give her exams orally instead of written on paper (bribes. he bribed them) and she is also the only student for whom this is the case. She always has to study alongside someone else because she's just not really capable of taking down notes since she's illiterate. When she does get that help, of someone explaining it to her, she understands it pretty ok eventually, but she still feels self-conscious that she needs that help in the first place. She kinda dreads going to class because of it.

The specific terms of her and Azul's contract were that Azul now owns her voice in exchange for her being able to still use it, and working for him for as long as the contract is in effect. That means not only singing at the lounge, but also working as a waitress, and— since Junia has always been seen as beautiful and attractive by those around her— he started using that to have her advertise the lounge and any and all new menu items right away. All without pay. But she would be allowed to eat 3 meals from the lounge for free a day— she'll be working for him, so he certainly can't have her be starving!

Since it's a very feminine voice, he couldn't really use it himself without it clashing with his appearance and normal speaking voice, not to mention he also already has Prince Rielle's pretty singing voice. But Rielle's voice can't do Soprano very well, just because that's not its range. So that's one of the reasons he lets her keep use of her voice. And he will admit that her natural charisma— and the charm her obvious, genuine passion for music gives all of her performances— certainly lets her make use of her song voice to greater effect than if he'd given it to someone else.

Junia is, as expected, great friends with Jade, Floyd and Azul.

She's often a bit startled and confused when Floyd drags her along to go follow his whims and do whatever he wants, but once her mind catches up she often ends up having a lot of fun. And through him she's also slowly starting to learn it's ok to prioritize things she wants to do over what she's been told to do. Azul is not always happy about Floyd making off with his best advertiser, but he never seriously punishes them harsher than giving them an extra shift to make up for the one they missed.

Despite being in the Pop Music Club, she sometimes goes with Jade on his hikes in the mountains. It's also a bit of plus for her since she gets to see more kinds of flowers! And birds, and other critters. She also always tries out Jade's new mushroom dishes, to Azul and Floyd's utter confusion and bafflement, and Jade's delight.

And as stated before, she has a lot of respect for Azul, and really admires him. And the two understand each other pretty well, since she was also bullied as a child, albeit less harshly than he was. She's also very quick to compliment him and tell him her positive opinions of him. He's had her tone it down whilst among others, since he doesn't want to end up blushing hard enough that his reputation is put in jeapordy, which she's gladly agreed to, thinking his shyness was actually really cute.

She's basically best friends with Cater, Lilia and Kalim as well, since the four of them are the only members of the Pop Music Club. She is actually often the only reason they get any kind of music practicing done at all. She also composes all the 'band's songs, since the others don't mind trying out something that isn't just an actual pop song cover now and then, and it's yet another way in which she gets to play her songs! Her playing piano well easily translated into keyboard, and she's also a prominent vocalist, but also loves being able to sing as a back-up.

Chasseur Trinity Timeline

Hello there, I'm back with my timelines because I need everything to be in order XD

Since this time I didn't wrote a lot of things in the timeline, I will explain my points below (anyways, if after reading it you have some question, don't doubt and tell me):

First of all, we know that in present day Olivier is 27 y.o and Roland is 26 y.o thanks an old Omake (I don't have it rn, sorry).

1) Roland and Olivier met:

I don't know if they are around 8, 10, 12 or more so I used a big period of time in which they could have started meeting.

2) Roland and Olivier arrived Paris:

This is when they started they training as Chasseurs and we got some information:

Olivier hairstyle was different.

They were late teens or young adults here.

Roland was covered in bandages (for training or a mision).

Side note: importance of Roland's scars.

Roland's scars were what I used to organise the events between they met and when Astolfo lost his family:

As a kid, he didn't have any scar so we know this is something he got as a Chasseur.

When he started training he was covered in bandages so we can't tell if he got his scars here or not. But anyways, this is the nearest event to him and Olivier meeting because it's when they started the training XD

When he met Misha after a nearly death experience, Roland was totally covered again + and eye patch (here is when I think he got the injuries that become his scars).

This event can be near to when they started training, but it can't be near the time Astolfo met Roland because in that moment Roland and Olivier were full recovered.

+ I don't think this happened after rescuing Astolfo because basically, taking care of Astolfo became 24/7 Roland's job.

And finally here we are able to see his scars. It's near to when they rescued Astolfo so that's other point to think he got all of that before Roland and Astolfo met.

Back to the timeline, as I explained with Roland's scars, this has to be before rescuing Astolfo.

And again, this event can be near to when they started training, but it can't be near to when they rescued Astolfo because both Roland and Olivier had their arms broken. And depending what it's broken you need around 2 months or more to use it normally again (maybe the Chasseurs have drugs to make it shorter, but I will ignore that).

4) Olivier and Astolfo met:

We can't really know if this was the first time they see each other or even if this 2 panels are from the same day, but there are 2 important things to note:

Olivier wasn't a Paladin yet.

Astolfo already know the vampire.

5) The doomed day:

Between the previous event to this one there shouldn't be much time and, since Astolfo wears the exact same suit, I could even tell it was that same night. But kids can use the same clothes in different days so it can be more time between these events.

Side note 2: UwU I killed.

Since Astolfo wasn't a Paladin here and he is really similar to the present day, I think this happened around a year ago because Astolfo became Paladin at 15 and he is still 15 y.o.

6) Present day:

It's still 1888 because Astolfo's birthday is 6th January (basically, first day of 1889) and since he still 15, they are probably at the end of 1888.

Here both Roland and Astolfo are Paladins, but Astolfo ascended time before Roland.

WIP intro: The Ring. A comedy in five acts.

Genre: romantic comedy, satire, Christmas comedy

Themes and tropes: fake dating, queer romance, family drama, miscommunication, sibling rivalry

Progress/Target: first draft, 95/~150 pages (see extra notes) More under cut!

Summary:

Sylwester is trying to be the perfect son for once in his life. After lots of experimenting, tons of fails and multiple wrong turns, he finally came out on top. With a stable career and a wonderful girl at his side, he actually might not seem like a disappointment next to his “wonderful” and “always beloved” older brother. Especially when he announces that he’ll be the first to marry out of his siblings! Because he definitely will – he already has a ring, and he is going to propose on Christmas Eve. It’s not like he’s been fighting with his fiancee-to-be for the past couple of weeks. Not at all… Patryk is trying so hard to be the perfect son he's always been. But expectations are changing as he’s growing older, and sometimes it feels like he isn’t good enough anymore. So when Sylwester’s mistake makes his parents think that he’s about to propose to his best friend- Maybe it’s not so bad at all? At least he won’t have to explain why he’s still single. He feels bad about getting Mikolaj all tangled up in this, but it’s not like it’ll change anything… Right? Klaudia has never tried to be the perfect daughter. And fairly, she isn’t planning on changing that. What she is planning on doing though, is watching her idiot brothers make fools of themselves trying to make their parents happy, and enjoy the chaos that unravels. For all she knows, Christmas this year is about to be a mess, but it also will be really fun.

In other words: the Kozlowski family gets back together for Christmas, and it turns out to be messier than anyone expects. With quite cliché romantic comedy shenanigans on one hand, on the other it’s a satire commentary of the expectations many families still set for their children, and the priorities they make them uphold.

Characters:

Patryk – 25 y.o., finishing his master’s degree in Data Science while working 9-to-5 as a programmer. Gifted kid in his childhood and teenage years, now a workaholic surviving only thanks to black coffee.

Sylwester – 23 y.o., working as a party planner and climbing up the ladder surprisingly fast for his young age. Looking forward to stop being second place in the family. Considered to be a bit of a “showman”, but who doesn’t like a tiny bit of drama here and there?

Klaudia – 17 y.o., high school student. The youngest and still considered to be the family’s baby, despite not being that small anymore. Well-known for causing chaos.

Anka (Anna) – 24 y.o., a journalist, known for her sharp tongue both in her writing and personal life. Sylwester’s current girlfriend and soon-to-be fiancee.

Mikolaj – 25 y.o., in the same boat as Patryk career-wise; Patryk’s best friend and co-worker. Too nice for his own good.

Mr. and Mrs. Kozlowski – the parents of Patryk, Sylwester and Klaudia. Can’t wait to have grandkids. They don’t have a favourite child, of course not, but have you heard that Patryk got promoted lately? He’s really amazing, isn’t he?

Extra notes: I’m writing it in a format of a play, in verse, so I’m finding pages a better way to track my progress than word count. I know it’s technically less specific, but word count when writing in verse doesn’t really… work the same way it does with prose, and it’s more confusing than anything. For reference, “The Ring” currently is at 10.5k words, but it’s 95 pages, with three out of five acts pretty much already written. So tracking progress in pages it is, thahah-

I want to undo absolutely everything that happened in my life from November onwards.

I was very focused on what to do in life and so determined about getting myself out of shit and so busy on trying to fix past traumas so that I feel that I missed out on my present and on something I should and deserve to have in my age. I'm totally living through the fraction(s) of my life that I wasn't allowed to live through and it's about particular ages of life: ~16, ~6 and ~22 years old. And I'm already mf 31, very soon already 32. I often heard from my therapist a phrase "you did it for her, a [insert age] years old you". But for god's sake I lived until THIS much years old to end up feeling like 3 stages of my life at once and trying to navigate that through and having according to these ages emotions, vulnerabilities, failures and fears? Oh god what the fuck. I lived through real shit™️ in my life which was traumatising and forming and etc for a very young age to end up like this? Yes, I absolutely don't feel like my age, mentally and by appearance and behaviour I'm indeed around 22-24 but for god's sake when will I have my own age's experience? At like 50? And people do perceive me as 22 everywhere: business summits/weeks/whatever ("oh are you a second year student?"), students from this college, professors (god bless, I need to blend with the rest), anyone. Once I heard "omg, you're THIS old? God that's a lotta experience". Yeah, a bad traumatic experience of a 50 y.o. person and inexperienced 16 y.o. person's experience, how about such a twist?

I'm totally inexperienced about being among people. I don't really understand people and don't know how to interact with them. I don't understand their intentions, I don't recognise these types of social cues I see here. And to be very fair it's also another culture and a different mindset. On top of that, I'm a not properly socialised person and these are the consequences of it. And overall I had pretty bad experiences with people of their age and younger, I was a total definition of an outcast (with an according treatment by the classmates) both at school and Uni tbh as well even though it was all much more better and respectful there. The good thing was I was always very collected, very poker face no matter what was happening at home or in the according environment. Up until now. Now I'm not, in the best case scenario everything is pretty much on my face, and in the worst case scenario I have situations like yesterday when something happens just a second before I entered the room and I'm all shaking and with tears falling down mumbling that I should go elsewhere and apologising instead of maybe having a nervous breakdown for the person that caused it idk or running away not bothering anyone? Yeah and here we go to another point: I don't know what an emotionally mature person of my age would actually do. And since November I have been at the peak of vulnerability and openness to feelings and experiences. I do still believe that vulnerability is a true power but openness is an easy target. Especially in such a big village like this university, especially when you're bad at recognising other people's intentions, especially when you get lied to and betrayed even several times in a row. Especially when there are people who love "the latest tea" (yes, I had such at school but people knew a bare minimum about me and assumed much more but now...) aka have no life. Especially when one of the people told you "omg I've always thought you're a very closed down person and extremely picky with whom to talk". Man I wish I had it back but it's too late by now. A "smart person we don't know anything about, a Ukrainian refugee with a high GPA" easily fell together with that part of the brain that was responsible for it and that is now not ready for the Thursday exam. Amazing, now a new vulnerable crying mess imagery who talked about some personal shit which is actually not the worst shit that has happened to her for sure in general and atm. Anyway, what the fuck, guys. And I understand why to a certain extent I opened up to several people but the truth is I don't really know them and don't know what will happen because of it. Tries her hardest even. About that jester part...she's dressed like a jester AND is a jester, or you may call her a performancer in some way ig-- she loves making up various jokes and game & tricks!! PLEASE LISTEN TO HER AND WATCH ALL HER ATTEMPTS AT PERFORMANCES. SHE NEEDS IT. [uhh yea she kinda has a very high need for praise and attention?? she has issues with being alone as well, with all...insanity shit that starts to kick in her head. God i feel guity pleasure bcs i enjoy making ocs with various issues, ESPECCIALLY CHILDREN WITH SUCH ISSUES.] She also loves spirals, so guess what that means...her outfit DOES has spirals elements because of it. And usually its not even strong enough for her to use it without any tools[excluding boosted state], so usually her tool is a pendulum[i hope my google translator translated it right lol]. In boosted state, though, she can hypnotize with her left eye[also DEF not connected to this fact:she has different pupils, and in left eye its a spiral. Yep.] About personality part...well, i said already she's chaotic and is a kid, who also happens to be a 'jester'[im still not sure if its okay to call her that since its not very accurate i think...] so she's kinda a MENACE OF A CHILD. I think that tells everything... Still, she's friendly to everyone she meets, so she's just a bit...hard to deal with, nothing more. She's hyperactive as well...so its not only hard to deal with her, but also tiring. She'll TIRE you out unknowingly, even if you're a hyperactive person as well, who loves kids and etc. SHE JUST WILL. not in a bad way though, atleast not in all cases- also. I NEED TO ADD IT: she's kinda noisy, since she's a literal bell. So she'll drag attention of ANYTHING OR ANYONE nearby with how noisy she is even while walking...thats why its kinda dangerous to stick around with her 24/7, especcially in such place as wasteland. Thats why she mostly just runs somewhere alone[which affects her badly...the alone part, i mean]. I think that might be a reason why she kinda likes cuburt when he happens to be nearby, its practically her mostly ONLY company and audience...even if pernament. if possible, do you remember how old daemon was when he claimed caraxes? if he was older than rhaena, that just makes him look silly for ignoring her for not having a dragon yet.

similarly, i suspect he'd act the same way towards aemond if he were daemicent's child unfortunately.

this also seemingly lines up perfectly in the au timeline because if laena dies, they still have the funeral where he can try to claim vhagar. The real question is would he lose an eye? Daemon, once again, doesn't seem like the type to care much about bullying [which sets the scene for aemond to try claiming one to begin with]. I think he'd brush it off like viserys.

Combine that with aemond's desire to impress his dad <if i get this dragon dad will stop ignoring me> i can only see an equally terrible outcome.

caraxes' first owner was the late prince aemon targaryen, who died in 92 AC, freeing caraxes for another potential rider. idk when exactly daemon claimed him. i looked it up in FB and the first time daemon is mentioned in relation to caraxes is in 105, when he flies with mysaria to dragonstone, after rhaenyra was named heir. since he was born in 81 AC, that means that he could have claimed caraxes any time between 11 and 24 years old.

baela first rode moondancer in 130 when she was 14, but in truth she had claimed her before that. morning hatched around the same time as baela's first and only ride. the cradle egg of aegon the younger hatched into stormcloud, while viserys ii still had his egg but it either never hatched or he lost it (?) in lys.

aegon the elder claimed sunfyre by 120 AC (13 y.o. at the latest, likely before that), helaena claimed dreamfyre by the age of 11 and aemond was 10 (book age) when he claimed vhagar. daeron already had tessarion by the age of 6. these ages are given specifically in FB as context for the eye-gouging incident in Driftmark, as it is stated aemond is the only dragonless sibling.

so, judging by the fact that daemon could have been 11 at the earliest when aemon died and he could have claimed caraxes, it would be v hypocritical of him to be shading aemond who claimed the biggest & scariest dragon in the world at 10. to be fair to daemon, i don't remember in the text if he ever specifically singled out rhaena for not having a dragon by the age of 13. not saying that he was necessarily thrilled about it, but it's possible for it to be a show-only thing. also, if daemon had bonded himself to caraxes so close after crown prince aemon's death, i feel like the text would have noted that, so it's very likely he did so when he was indeed older. maybe even around the same age rhaena was when her egg hatched.

after all, what show!laena tells rhaena is not just a motherly comfort thing - she was right, there was plenty more time for her to claim her own dragon in the future. princess alyssa herself, her grandmother, claimed meleys at 15, prince baelon her grandfather claimed vhagar at 16 and prince aemon claimed caraxes at 17. they were the darlings of the targaryen dynasty in their time and jaehaerys' favourite children, so daemon side-eyeing his preteen son for not having a dragon yet is pretty goofy.

but then again i doubt the show-runners did the maths for this when they decided on the nature of daemon's relationship with rhaena. they probably just thought it would be a poignant way to highlight daemon's misogyny and that took precedence over dragon algebra

Pedro is a 34~ years old (as of post USUM event) trainer who joined Team Plasma at 20 y.o , before the organisation becoming very vocal.

Pedro is born n Dendemille Town , Kalos , from a Kalosian mother and Paldean father , and got to meet his older half-brother of 15 years , Atmet.

Pedro's mother left the household when he was around 10 , due to the violence of his father , and did not come back to take him with her , he grew up with his brother as his parental figure and was finally freed from his father abuse at 12 when Atment left the region illegally with Pedro after saving enough money to move in Unova.

While in Unova , his brother spent half of his time working , and studying to meet their needs , and Pedro quickly felt alone and bored. He knew he wasn't in physical danger no more , but somehow felt an emptiness in his heart that couldn't be filled by anything but violence , toward himself or the other.

Despite all the effort of Atmet to find time to be emotionally avalaible , it didn't worked out and Pedro fell into the promises of Team Plasma.

Here , he would have a roof without the fear of not having to eat for the next 24 hour and he wouldn't feel like a burden. Even more , he would have a purpose , and a good one at that.

He tried to make Atmet follow him , so they could still be together , but his older brother knew it was fishy and tried to force him to get away , but it only made Pedro wanting to leave even more.

At first he enjoyed seeing Atmet struggling to get him back and felt like he was finally valuable , but he slowly started to fell for the brainwashing and to think that his brother was wrong to not fight from the same ideas and basically cut all contact when he was 17.

He was quickly seen as one of the most violent grunt in the Team , but somehow managed to be violent only against the other grunt he thought where "not working hard enough" , avoiding being kicked out by Bronius or Gorm

His pokemon team for the first years only consisted in one singular Joltik that his brother caught for him to keep him company when they moved in Unova. He managed to train him to be a valuable asset for the team , despite his unevolved form.

When years laters , Plasma was getting more and more on the front of the news , Atmet tried to reach out again , only to get his letters back , and to get ignored.

Pedro grew pretty close to Ghetsis and Zinzolin when he was around 26, as he was now working WITH them directly (he never met them before that point and was under the supervision of Bronius and Gorm )

At the fall of Team Plasma , Pedro was already giving his life to Ghetsis and refused to follow Rood.

His goal wasn't liberating pokemon anymore , but just to stay wherever Ghetsis needed him to be , and to do whatever he wanted him to do. He somehow knew something big might happen but couldn't know what exactly , and Pedro was the perfect person to infiltrate a ginger kalosian group. Pedro stayed for a few month before being kicked out for simping over Ghetsis in front of Lysandre.

During the events of BW2 , he grew very fond of Zinzolin , they finally got together , making Ghetsis pretty happy to not be stalked by a weird ginger kalosian man any time he was out of his office.

When Ghetsis lost his final battle against Nate and left , Pedro felt like his whole world collapsed. Despite Zinzolin trying to get his head out of the water , Pedro couldn't think about anything else than finding Ghetsis again.

He left , travelling across regions , with Zinzolin to find his former Lord , despite all the effort of his partner to stop him.

Facts:

-He can't swim

-He likes to trauma-dump on people just to make them uneasy

-He likes knitting

-He is auDHD and his special interest is moss

-He can't sleep alone and really misses the grunt dorms now that Team Plasma is gone

-He likes to do trendy dances around Ghetsis to piss him off , and forced Ghetsis to learn the apple dance. (Ghetsis accepted after weeks of Pedro whining)

-He has a notebook where he reports all his injuries , and another one where he reports all the weirdest thing he ate

-He make up new stories about how he lost his eyelid everytime someone ask.

-He misses croissant break in Team Flare so bad.

-He calls Ghetsis "Ghetsis le beau gosse" and told him it was a title of nobility in Kalossian. Zinzolin is dying from the inside everytime Ghetsis looks happy to hear his nickname.

Well here I am (ONS chapter 128)

Ok I'm finally writing out my thoughts about ONS' 128. Idk how long it'll come out (extremely long as I'm writing it it seems...) and also as always I want to hear others' opinions on this, but as a warning it will be mostly negative. I actually did a similar post back at the start of the year with BSD, but BSD at least managed to bounce back full force and do what it needed to do while ONS shows no signs of that.

I'll break it down into the following points:

>I'm also getting tired of the flashbacks (as many already did)

>I miss the Shinoa squad (will touch upon Mitsuba specifically and y'all probably know why)

>The belief that MikaYuu fans are getting much better content and why I think that's bs (will probably mention my theorem of "Mika, along with literally all the women of the franchise, got hit with the mysoginy stick")

So let's go I guess, under the cut so I don't clutter my non-ONS followers' dash.

>The flashbacks: I... Did not mind them up unti now, if I've got to be honest. Let's be serious here everyone probably expected a batshit crazy backstory for the characters, ESPECIALLY Yuu and Mika, and that's what made me not really complain. Now it has been like? 8 chapters of ONLY flashbacks??? Only things of the past with NO break and NO POV switches to at least let us know wtf is going on in the outside world. Christ. The fact that irritates me the most is that all of this adds nothing to the plot either!!! What are the MCs supposed to do now that they've seen one of them (WHO HAS BEEN 4 DIFFERENT SPECIES TOO SINCE THE START OF THE SERIES???) sacrifice for the 3rd time!!!! AND IN THE PAST AT THAT!!!! HOW IS THIS USEFUL FOR THEM OR ANY OF US AGHHFHGHHG. We got other gays going at it tho and that's just funny to me. This is just a BL masked as a battle shonen lmaoooo.

>The Shinoa squad: I feel like this is obvious. Where tf are they? They obviously are looking out for where Mika and Yuu are, how did we not see them again yet??? Some progress in their hunt (let's call it that) for those two??? Shinoa literally threatened to kill Mika (and, for a number of reasons, let me say this: ew.) I'd at least like to see her and how she's doing. And didn't Kagami promise us Mitsuba would get more screentime soon? THIS IS LITERALLY A PERFECT SETTING. SHOW ME HER AND SHINOA BEING IN CONFLICT CUS SHE WORRIES ABOUT HER FRIEND AND WANTS HER TO COME TO HER SENSES!!! SHOW ME HOW THEE LITERAL KIDS ARE DOING AFTER BEING ASKED BY A FULL ON 24 Y.O TO CHOOSE THEIR FAMILIES OR THE WORLD LIKE BE SO SERIOUS THE SETTING WAS *DECENT* (wouldn't say perfect cus I'm not the biggest fan of the "bring everyone back" plot but ok) FOR IT ALL I'M *explodes*

So since I came back after my rewatch and catch up to this manga which resulted in hyperfixation again I noticed that the narrative of MikaYuu shippers getting better content cus a lot of the chapters now focus on them is... common. And for a while I just thought "ok" and moved on but now I'm fully on convinced it's just. Not true. Not because the content isn't there, I would be lying if I said that, but because it's... Not good. Good content, for me (as someone who clearly loves these two if you scroll for even 2 minutes down my fucking tag), would be seeing actual growth between them, some actual substance in what they are doing as of rn, and we are not getting any of that. Since when did we see them actually DO something? Last time we saw Yuu in his actual body and actually saying something was last chapter and he was EATING. Then we went back to them just passively staring at everything that went on. And to add onto this, I dislike demon Mika as a plot IN GENERAL because it recessed any development both for HIM and for Yuu himself. Yuu acts stupid (wtf happened to him after Nagoya I'm being so serious Nagoya Yuu I miss you so much) as shit cus anyway Mika IS strong enough to let him get away with it but not enough to oppose Yuu at some point and this was addressed as a problem for like 2 seconds and then nothing. Oh my God. And not only that but this fucking thing also shows that Mika did, indeed, also get hit with a mysoginy beam, but that's another topic I want to talk about in another post if anyone even really cares about it.

So... Yeah. I'm not tired (I only started catching up in March after my rewatch, so I'm still curios about how this will go), but I AM sad. I really miss the earlier arcs and the potential they all had that now seems like a long lost memory. Can we all collectevely just go back to the Nagoya one like if the series stuck to that path I would be able to excuse its flaws up until a point because GOD. The eyeball with its Seraph shit or whatever the hell it was doing was cool tho.
