I've been on a closed loop system since 2022 and it's the first thing that's actually worked to get my blood glucose down permanently.

(I use the Dexcom/Tandem T:slim system)

I gifted myself an Apple Watch last year to track my health better, but it also allows me to show my blood glucose on the screen. Which is an oddly sentimental element, because when I was 6 and first diagnosed with Type 1 my grandmother said: "One day you'll be able to see your blood glucose on a watch, you mark my words!"

It might not be quite what either of us imagined, but hey gramma, I can see it on my watch now :')

I've been keeping a video diary for the past two years to help with my ruined 🌟 mental health 🌟 and I officially stopped on new years day this year, as it served its purpose perfectly and Oh My God I am loving not having to capture something everyday, it's been a big relief to just exist and let time flow without reminding myself to document anything. It was exactly what I needed in 2022 to help me reconnect with my physical body and recognise my face and see myself in my own life the way I needed it, and in 2023 it was perfect for capturing my joys and loved ones and everything I was grateful or proud of, and now I'm ready to just live organically and I am Loving not having to take a video everyday!! Ugh its so good.

but then it hit you...

you giggled at your slowness, asking the question "how could you not know?" your hands moved to your boyfriends head, and started running your fingers through his hair.

his shoulders relaxed and a small sigh came out of his mouth. you smiled to yourself and continued your actions until he turned his head to look at you. your head tilted in question, wondering what he was asking for. "hi" jungwon says with that cute smirk that always has you melting.

you leaned down to peck him on the lips quickly, then rested your forehead against his. he leaned in again and captured your lips in a deeper kiss, tilting his head just enough to let you know that he was thankful.

you pulled away smiling and pecked his lips once more before he turned around again.
