Requested by anon! hi if your still doing prompts would love to see either your fave au or something you’ve always wanted an excuse to write! (congrats for the magic number!)
“It’s almost time for patrol.”
Bellamy bumps Clarke’s shoe with his toes as he says it, earning him a glare. Instead of responding, she rolls her eyes and turns her attention back to her drawing.
They met on the road a long fucking time ago and he never expected to like her, but it happened. First as a person. Then as Clarke. Somehow, she went from annoying to his partner and he still isn’t sure how it happened. But now, he trusts her more than anyone. Even more than Octavia. And that… that confuses him sometimes.
Because. Yeah. Maybe he likes her. Loves her. Whatever. It doesn’t matter how many times Roan winks when he assigns them to the same patrol, the same shift, it doesn’t change the fact that Clarke won’t ever see him as more than her best friend.
Bellamy holds in a sigh and bumps her foot again. “Come on.”
Clarke kicks him back this time. “We’ve got a half hour.”
“What are you drawing, anyway?”
Bellamy reaches down to grab her notebook and she swats at his hand. “That would be telling. Just give me ten more minutes.”
“Ten more minutes,” Bellamy says, bumping her foot again. “You always ask for ten more minutes and it turns into twenty and next thing you know, it’s night shift for two weeks. I need my beauty sleep, Clarke.”
She grumbles something under her breath, but she does close the notebook. She shoves it into her backpack and follows him out the door.
It’s still weird not to lock the door behind them. Then again, it’s weird that they found a fully-functioning town in the middle of Wyoming. With electricity. And, with the infected, locking a door seems a little futile. No one steals here. They work together to survive.
And Bellamy and Clarke work together better than anyone else here.
The surrounding area has been clear for weeks. Bellamy really can separate his feelings for Clarke from the mission. He doesn’t stare longingly at her when she’s not looking. Not on the other side of the fence. It’s just… she tells him a joke and it’s funny. She has a beautiful laugh. That’s what he’s thinking about when they run into the roaming pack of infected. Her laugh.
Maybe he got a little cocky.
They lose both of the horses. They both almost die. It’s too close. At this point, he’s lost track of how many times she’s saved his life or he’s saved hers, but today, they save each other multiple times. It’s Clarke who spots the crates stacked up against the abandoned gas station that the use to get up to the roof and it’s Bellamy who shoots an infected in the head when it has Clarke pinned down on the ground.
Bellamy rushes to her side as soon as its clear. “Are you okay? Any bites?”
Clarke shakes her head, eyes still darting across their surroundings. “You?”
Without answering, Bellamy pulls out a rag and empties some water onto it, cleaning some of the gore off her neck. He knows she’s fine, she’d tell him if she weren’t, but he can’t bring himself to believe it until he sees for himself.
“Bellamy.” She puts her hand over his. “I’m fine. Are you?”
“None of them even got close, Clarke.” The words come out rougher than he expected and he abandons his task and pulls her into a hug before she can see the tears in his eyes. “You shouldn’t have done that.”
She sighs, digging her fingers into his back, pressing her nose into his shoulder the way that makes his heart feel like it’s about to pound out of his chest.
“I’m serious,” he mutters into her hair. “You shouldn’t risk your life for mine.”
Her elbow hooks around his neck now and she shakes her head. “Why shouldn’t I? You’d do the same for me.”
Bellamy pulls away then, swallowing hard. They can’t just stand here. As much as he wants to, it might not be safe. He cant bring himself to look at her as he fixes his pack.
“I’m serious, Bellamy.” She tugs on his arm and he tries to pull it out of her grasp, but she doesn’t let go. “Bellamy, look at me.”
“We can’t talk about this here.”
“Bellamy!”
“Clarke!” He spins around and pushes her hand off his arm. “We have to start moving if we want to get back to town before dark.”
“We’re going to talk about this later.”
“No, we’re not.”
He starts walking before she can say anything else. It’s only a moment before he hears her footsteps behind him and he knows she’s hanging back on purpose, but he wants the quiet right now. Roan puts them on patrols together to shut Bellamy up and he knows it. He’s less worried about Clarke’s safety if they’re together and he can see she’s safe right away. It doesn’t make it hurt any less to think that she might die right in front of him.
Being in love sucks.
They don’t run into any other infected on the way back. Roan sends them both to medical after their report, but neither of them are actually injured, even if Clarke looks like she walked out of an old horror movie right now.
Bellamy’s laying down in his bed after cleaning up when there’s a knock on the door. For a minute, he considers not answering it. But he knows that if he ignores it, she’ll let herself in.
Clarke is clean on the other side of the door in a fresh set of clothing. Her mouth is set in a hard line and she pushes past him before he can even say hello.
“I’m allowed to watch out for you,” she says as she sits at the table. “I don’t get why you’re so mad at me. I thought that was our arrangement. You watch my back, I’ll watch yours.”
Bellamy holds in a sigh and leans against the door. “That was Virginia.”
“That’s exactly how it is every time we’re on patrol and you know it.”
He shrugs.
“Why are you being so weird about this?”
"I don’t think it’s weird that I don’t want to watch you die.”
Clarke opens her mouth and closes it, tilting her head. “Do you… not want to go on patrol with me anymore?”
“That isn’t what I -”
“No, I get it. It’s fine.” She throws up a hand and stands. “I’ll get out of your hair. I’ll go tell Roan.”
“Clarke.”
“No. If you’re tired of working with me, you should have said something. I asked him to put us on patrols together, but he’ll stop if this is such a chore for you.”
She avoids looking at him as she reaches for the door handle. Bellamy knows she expects him to move, but he’s so surprised that he’s not sure he remembers how to. Until he gets an elbow in the side.
Instead of moving, he gently grasps her wrist and pulls her hand back. “I didn’t know you asked to be on patrols with me.”
Clarke shakes her head, staring at the doorknob. “It’s not a big deal. I just thought….”
He tugs on her wrist and she slowly meets his eyes. She pulls her hand away to wipe unshed tears away and Bellamy is sure he’s misreading this situation, but….
“I don’t feel safe with anyone else,” she says quietly. “I thought you felt the same.”
“I do.”
He’s afraid of what he’ll say if he keeps talking, so he pulls her into a hug. Her arms wrap around his waist like that’s what they were made to do and it’s the thing he’s always loved about moments like this. He smooths her hair when she starts to cry against his shoulder and it takes every ounce of his self-control not to give in and kiss her when her fingers twist in the fabric of his shirt, because he’s still absolutely sure he’s misreading this.
They stay like that for a long time before she pulls back. Not enough to break the hug. Before she can let go, Bellamy uses his knuckle to wipe the few remaining tears away from her eyes.
“This is really confusing, Bellamy.” He’s inclined to agree, because as she says it, she nuzzles into his hand.
“What’s so confusing?”
“I thought you were mad at me.”
He shakes his head. “I was mad at myself for letting that guy get near you in the first place.
"There were too many of them. We got lucky.”
He nods, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. “I don’t want you to go out on patrol with anyone else, okay?”
Clarke smiles sadly. “Okay, good.”
“I just don’t….”
Bellamy trails off, because Clarke still hasn’t moved out of his space and she still hasn’t stopped staring into his eyes and everything he could say feels like too much or not enough. Before he can land on any course of action, she stands up on her tiptoes and kisses him. It’s a quick brush of her lips against his and then she takes a step back. Her cheeks are pink and Bellamy is sure his own must be, too, but all he can do is stare at her, wide-eyed.
“Sorry. I just… I wanted to do that once. I’m sorry.” She tucks her hair behind her ear again, even though it doesn’t need it. “That was… I should go. To bed.”
He kisses grabs her face with both hands and kisses her before she can get near the door again. When he pulls back, Clarke’s eyes are wide.
"I’ve wanted to do that for a while,” he says softly.
Clarke grins. “Why didn’t you say anything?”
“I’ve wanted to for a while.”
“Why didn’t you?” Bellamy can’t stop himself from smiling back at her when she shrugs. “Do you still have to leave?”
Clarke digs her fingers into the his shirt and shakes her head. “I’d rather not.”

Chapter 4: Navarro
an: as promised!
Summary: Y/N, Chewie, and Han make it to Navarro, where they are looking to find a high paying guild job. Y/N -- being the badass she is -- gets the information Han and Chewie need, but not without a little jealous angst from Han. Queue a fight in the cockpit and a sweet ending!
word count: 4190
----
You wake up the next day feeling restless. Your feelings got the better of you last night, and your lack of good sleep proved that. As you start to shift to get out of bed, the pain from your ribs shoots you back to reality.
The second day of travel goes by without any major incidents - Han-related or otherwise. You keep mostly to yourself, finishing your repairs and cooking enough food for a week. With Navarro in sight out of the window of the cockpit, you and the crew buckle in for an easy landing. Of all the places in the galaxy you could imagine visiting, of course the first place you go is another sand dune planet. Han and Chewbacca unload the cargo to the delivery point within an hour of landing, proudly boarding the Falcon with more credits than when they left.
“I take it you two got paid well?” you ask, chuckling at how giddy these grown men seem.
You are sprawled out on the couch in the living quarters, changed into your best desert-night-out attire - a matching tan ensemble, exposing your sunkissed arms and a plunging neckline. Your top and pants meet at your hips, covering the bruising that has gotten worse. You are still cradling your side, but the sight of your crew is enough to distract you from the throbbing pain from your ribs.
“Onto the next gig,” Chewie growls happily, stashing his share of credits in a bin he keeps above the couch. “Are you ready to hit the town? I think she’s going to be our secret weapon,” Chewie asks you, turning to Han who looks at you with a hint of concern in his eyes as he realizes you're wearing an outfit that conceals your injury.
“I was born ready, let’s go,” you smile, getting up from your spot on the couch.
Han hands you a communicator and instructs you on how to work it. You place the speaker in your ear and clip the controller around your wrist. Your other bracelets disguise it perfectly. Han and Chewie test their communications before the three of you leave the Falcon.
You follow the pair at a distance that makes it seem you aren’t part of their group. They lead you to the cantina where the guild members tend to hang out. Han and Chewbacca take a seat in a booth close to the entrance. You wait a moment at the door, scanning the crowd for someone who looks like they’d give you the information you need.
“We’ll sit just out of sight while you look for information. Keep your mic hot when you find someone. Once you get the location of the guild meeting, we’ll slip out the front and meet you back at the Falcon when we get a job,” Han chimes in over the comm, his rough voice echoing in your ear.
You don’t respond, as to not indicate to anyone paying attention to you that you are in cahoots with your crew. There. You spot a guild member seated at the bar, keeping a low profile but just buzzed enough that he’s looking for some entertainment.
Approaching the bar, you slyly click your comm’s mic on, making sure not to meet the man’s eyes that you now feel burning on you. You sit down next to him, and order your go-to drink for missions like this - a drink that takes most men by surprise that a lady like you would order it. Whatever that means.
“One fuzzy tauntaun, please,” you say to the bartender, sliding enough credits for the drink and a tip across the bar. You casually toss your hair behind your shoulder, exposing your collarbone and neck to the man seated next to you, still feeling his gaze adjusted on you.
“I would have never pegged you to be a fan of the fuzzy tauntaun,” the man says to you, flashing you a smoldering look.
You smile flirtatiously, knowing that the oldest trick in your book worked once again.
“You seem like too much of a lady to enjoy such a strong drink,” he says, shifting in his seat to get a better view of you.
“I like to keep people on their toes,” you say sweetly, reaching for the drink the bartender placed in front of you, taking a long, slow sip of the fiery alcohol while keeping your gaze on the man in front of you. You feel a familiar set of eyes land on your back. Han. He shifted in the booth to watch you engage with this man, intently observing your body language.
“What is someone as pretty as yourself doing in a place like this?” the man asks, carefully watching your drink release from your lips and land back on the table. “It’s not everyday I get to sit next to the most beautiful woman in the galaxy,” he adds.
What a line. You’ve heard that one before, never sincerely though. Every man uses it with one goal in mind. Hearing it, though, assures you that you’ve picked the right person who will bend just enough to give you the information you need.
“You flatter me,” you squeal, mustering up the most flirtatious tone you can, softly pushing the man’s shoulder away, then moving it to settle closer to you than it was before.
The man flashes a smile as you reel at his compliment, and you linger your touch on his shoulder just long enough to peak his interest. Slowly bringing your hand back to your legs, you respond, “I’m here for the same thing as just about everyone else - a job.” You bat your eyes and smile, as you bring your drink back up to your lips, hovering before you take a sip to ask, “Do you know how I could get a good paying job with the guild as an outsider? I’m new to Navarro, but I’m just passing through looking for work,” you say just softly enough to get the man to lean in even further. You take another long sip, maintaining his gaze.
“I’m not really supposed to say,” the man trails, pausing for a moment, entranced by your presence. You narrow your eyes slightly, willing him to bend.
“The guild only allows outsiders to take jobs at the recommendation of a member,” he says after you slowly move your hand to his knee, still not breaking your gaze on him. You feel Han’s eyes intensify behind you.
“The guild is handing out jobs in 20 minutes three doors south of here. Tell them that Kain Malo sent you, they’ll let you pick from the highest paying gigs,” the man tells you, short of breath because of your touch. You smile at him.
”Kain Malo?” you ask, “Is that your name?” The man smiles and nods, as he takes a sip from his drink. You shift your gaze from his eyes to his mouth and back to his eyes. “It’s the perfect name for a man as handsome as yourself,” you say, hoping to get more out of him. After a moment, you add, “When I get a good gig, I won’t forget your kindness,” sliding your hand up his leg a bit and slowly returning it to his knee. You feel his breath get short and you smile. “I’ll be sure to give you a nice cut as commission.”
“What is your name?” Kain asks, flustered by your advances.
“Nadya,” you smile, giving him a false identity. You extend a hand for him to shake, saying sweetly, “It’s getting late, I should get to the guild meeting.”
“Nadya…” Kain says softly, grabbing your hand and placing it back on his knee, “I’m staying here, at the inn attached to this bar. Room 319. Once you get that job, why don’t you come back and celebrate with me? We could talk about that commission,” Kain trails, his gaze turning seductive. You smile, standing up from the barstool and bringing your hand to rest on his face, softly grazing your thumb over his lips.
“It’ll be a big commission,” you whisper, leaning in so only Kain and your mic can hear. “You know I’m good for it,” you say softly, dragging your hand down his face and to his arm, beginning your walk towards the cantina’s entrance. You turn your head to look at Kain one last time, winking at him before turning to continue walking.
“You two got all of that?” you ask softly over the comm as you walk past the empty booth where Han and Chewie were no longer seated.
“We’re on our way to the guild now,” Han huffs over the comm.
“You’re good at this,” Chewie growls over the comm, his voice cloaked in awe.
“Let’s plan to meet back at the Falcon in an hour or so,” you announce over the comm, turning to find the Navarro Union headquarters. “I need to turn my comm off for a bit, but I will check in when I’m on my way back,” you say.
“Whatever,” says an annoyed Han. You switch your comm off as you walk down the stairs to the Union’s headquarters.
------
You slip through the back of the room of the Union’s headquarters, being careful not to distract from the dealing of missions that have already started. While you couldn’t accept any due to your probation, you wanted to make contacts at this location for future use.
Shit. Your side reminds you of its injury. You are in the most pain you’ve ever felt. After the assignments are over, you’ll go see the Union nurses.
Watching the slides of targets get dealt out among the members, you shudder when the last target is introduced. It’s Kain, the man you just swindled back at the cantina.
“This final target is at the top of the most wanted list for the Union of Navarro. We’ve confirmed he is currently on-planet but do not know much more about his whereabouts or what he plans to do,” the Sister continues. You stand up, requesting to interject.
“Excuse me, Sister. My name is Y/N, I’m a Union member from Tatooine, recently turned interplanetary. My member ID is K-2199.” The Sister nods, allowing you to continue. “I made contact with this target about 10 minutes ago in the cantina down the road. From our conversation, he is under the impression I will be joining him in his inn suite later tonight. I have no intentions of visiting him, as I gave him a false identity and only needed him to tell me the location of the guild meeting,” you say, aware the entire room has turned to your attention. “I cannot accept a mission at this time, but I have his location - room 319 of the inn attached to the cantina. You can use my false identity as an alibi for getting close to him. I told him my name was Nadya.”
“Thank you, Y/N. Damasa, you will lead this mission. We must act quick, form a team with Sister Lor to make a plan,” the Sister says. “That will be all for missions tonight, please stay around if you wish. Y/N, will you come see me?”
You make your way to the front of the room, being greeted by smiling members and choruses of thank yous. When you reach the Sister, she takes your hands.
“Sister Carrie informed the interplanetary council of your updated status as a member. I’m pleased to make your acquaintance, and even more thankful for the information you gathered about the target. Is there anything you require while you are on Navarro?” the Sister asks, with genuine appreciation in her face.
“Thank you for such a warm welcome,” you say. “I sustained a bad injury several days ago, and was hoping to meet with a Union nurse if possible.”
“Of course, right this way,” the Sister says, ushering you to the medical corridor.
----
“Well, Y/N, it looks like you have three broken ribs and severe bruising. I’m glad you came in when you did,” the nurse says, giving you a concerned smile. “I think the best course would be a bacta shot.”
You wince. Bacta shots, though the most effective medicine, are also the most intense of remedies. You agree to the nurse’s suggestion, and she prepares the shot.
“I heard about what happened to you on Tatooine,” the nurse says, distracting you as she injects the shot just below your ribs in your abdomen. “I also heard that your injury was nothing compared to what that trooper got,” she smiles, impressed by you.
“He got it much worse, that’s for sure,” you chuckle, as you pull your shirt back down over your ribs.
“Now, this shot has some side effects,” the nurse cautions, as she disposes of the syringe. “It’s going to start affecting you in about thirty minutes. You might feel dizzy, maybe feel a bit of a high. You shouldn’t operate any machinery or drink any alcohol. The best way to endure the side effects is to go to sleep. You understand?”
“Yes,” you agree, this was not the first time you had a bacta shot. The nurse grabs a few supplies and throws them in a bag, handing it to you.
“What is this?” you ask, seeing she had given you four bacta shots, an assortment of bandages, and some other medicines. “I can’t accept this.”
“Of course you can. You are one of this Union’s best fighters. Now, more than ever, you need to be protected,” she says, earnestly. “Is there anything else we can help you with?” “Thank you,” you smile, doubting her compliment is remotely true. The best Union fighters wouldn’t be on probation. “I’d like to purchase something from the armory. I’ve recently joined a crew of smugglers and think it’s time to get something a bit more serious than my staff,” you chuckle.
The nurse leads you to the armory, where you pick out a small hand knife and a belt. You attach the belt just under your chest, with the knife in it’s slot at the center of your back. You cover your new weapon with your shirt and pay the fee to the armory.
You thank the members for their kindness, and start your journey back to the Falcon, hoping you get there before the side-effects of your shot kick in. You check the communicator for any messages you missed from Han or Chewie. There weren’t any, so you go back online to send an update.
“I’m back online. Be back at the ship in five minutes,” you click over the comm. You don’t get a response. You figure the two were still bargaining for a job and you’d beat them back to the Falcon.
------------
“You’re late,” Han huffs, not even looking up at you as you enter the common room. Chewie is seated next to him at the game table, seeming happy to see you.
“What do you mean? I didn’t think we had anywhere to be,” you ask, genuinely confused at Han’s hostility.
“You said we’d meet back here in an hour. You’re late,” Han says, still not meeting your eyes. You check your watch. You’re six minutes past the suggested rendezvous time.
“Six minutes, Solo. I’m six minutes past a loose timeframe I set,” you say, matching his annoyed mood. “Was the lead right?” you ask the two of them, hoping there was some good news.
“Yes, we got the highest paying job. A delivery to Han’s friend,” Chewie growled proudly.
“That’s great,” you respond, genuinely happy you were able to help out your crew.
“Not great,” Han huffs, standing from the table, finally meeting your gaze.
“But, Chewie said it was the highest paying and it’s for a friend? That seems like the perfect job,” you say, furrowing your brows together at Han.
“He’s not my friend,” Han says, pausing for a moment as if to determine who this person was to him. “It’s complicated. But I know he’s going to try to shortchange us. It’s not an easy job.” Han breaks your gaze and paces over to the desk across the room.
“Don’t be so dramatic. We’ve dealt with Lando thousands of times, we can do it again,” Chewie grumbles. “I’m going to bed,” he announces a moment later, giving you a pat on the shoulder before disappearing into his quarters.
You set the bag of supplies the Union gave you down on the game table, looking in Han’s direction trying to get a read on him. He’s sitting in the desk chair with his back to you. His left ankle is resting on his right knee, while his hand holds his chin. He’s clearly thinking about… something. Suddenly, without warning, Han shoots up from the chair and storms to the cockpit. The mechanic squeak of the cockpit door opening and closing echoes through the Falcon.
You roll your eyes, and start to head to your room. You stop before pushing the door open, and turn quickly on your heel. You march after Han and fling the door to the cockpit open. Han jumps in his seat but does not turn to face you.
“Hey!” you yell. “Want to tell me what that was about, Solo?” you ask angrily. You’re not sure why him being a jerk set you off. Maybe it’s because he was rude, maybe it was the bacta shot rushing through your veins, or maybe it was the fact that he didn’t even say thank you for getting him the information he needed.
“I don’t want to talk, Y/N. I’m in a bad mood,” Han huffs, still not facing you. You move to the front of the cockpit in between the pilot chairs to be in his sight.
“Good, I’m going to talk then,” you huff back. “Did I do something to piss you off? Because from where I’m standing, it seems like you should be thanking me for getting you the information you needed to get the highest paying job on this planet.”
You’re livid. You don’t even care that he didn’t say thank you. You’re more upset about being subjected to his rollercoaster of emotions - a ride you’d rather not be on. Han’s eyes finally dare to meet yours.
“I told you, I don’t want to talk,” Han says gruffly, shooting up, turning to the side wall of the cockpit to mess with some buttons. You follow him to the side, staying in the center aisle of the cockpit, but still within range of his sight if he dared to look at you again.
“It seems my intelligence gathering skills will be feeding us for the next month,” you shoot at him, wanting to strike a nerve.
You were looking for an answer to what you did wrong. The only way to get that out of him was to push him. Han quickly turned around to face you, a look of bewilderment painted on his face.
“I think you’re giving yourself too much credit,” Han sneers, stepping closer to you. “Your skills,” he mumbles, shaking his head, meeting your eyes once again. “It seems like all it took for that guy to bend is a pretty face willing to sleep with him.” Han huffs, taking another step towards you, allowing only inches between your bodies. “Judging from the fact you turned off your comm for an hour, and, not to mention, the look of satisfaction in your eyes, seems like all it took for you to bend was a little sweet talk.
It feels like a balloon is swelling in your chest, ready to pop. You are angry - no, upset? - that Han would even think you would be so reckless to sleep with someone while they were off job hunting based on information you gave them. Han stands in front of you, not moving, set in his convictions.
“You’re one to talk!” you yell at him. “Fuck you,” you whisper after a moment, shoving him back as you take a few steps towards the door of the cockpit.
“Tell me I’m wrong, then,” Han taunts, stopping you in your tracks and causing you to turn around. Regaining your voice, you catch his eyes.
“I don’t have to tell you anything, remember?” you hiss, bringing up the only condition that you really cared about.
Han rolls his eyes, his body language tensing more.
“You really think that little of me? That I would be so naive to sleep with a strange man I just met on a planet I’ve never been to before?” you shoot at him.
You shake your head, laughing, at how dumb this fight is. Han looks at you, confused. Your expression turns serious once more.
“You might think you know me, Solo. Like every other man in this entire galaxy, you must think that I’m a flirt, that I’m easy, that I’d sleep with the first guy to call me beautiful,” you pause, watching your words pain him. “I don’t care if that’s what you think of me. I care that you would think I’d turn off my comms for-” you pause for a second, before changing directions. “I need you to know that I’m in this. I’m part of the crew. You and Chewbacca are my priorities. I would never do anything to jeopardize that.”
Han watches you for a second. He starts to open his mouth to say something, but closes it again. You sigh. You’re not sure what you want from him at this point.
“I need you to tell me when I piss you off. I don’t like it when you’re mad at me,” you say, softly. Han says nothing. There’s nothing left to say. You turn on your heel and leave the cockpit, retreating to your room.
----
Han stands in the cockpit, looking at the place where you just told him off. He didn’t know why he was in such a bad mood. You were right, tonight was a success. After a moment of processing, he decides to go after you.
He stops cold at your door. What am I going to say?, he thinks, taking a step back from your room.
“What are you doing?” you ask, faintly. Han turns around to see you sitting on the ground, leaning against the couch.
“What are you doing?” he asks, crouching down next to you, a look of worry across his face. “Why are you on the ground?”
“I couldn’t make it to the couch,” you say, trying to adjust yourself to sit up straighter. The bacta was working, alright. You tried to make it to your bed, but you felt dizzy and needed to sit. The ground seemed like the best place to go. “You didn’t answer my question, Solo.”
Han smiled slightly, though his eyes were still worried.
“I didn’t get to ask- I wanted to know how your side was,” he said, stumbling over his words. He gently starts to untuck your shirt from your pants, careful not to accidentally brush your bruises. You catch his hand before he can lift your shirt.
“Stop,” you say. “I can do it.”
Han moves back slightly, giving you room to move. You unbuckle your new weapons belt from under your shirt, placing it on the couch behind you. Han’s eyebrows raise, curious as to how long you’ve had that.
“It’s new,” you shrug, answering his question.
You use Han’s shoulder to help you stand. Han carefully spots you until he’s sure you can stand by yourself. You turn to face him, lifting your shirt just enough to show the blotchy yellow bruise that shows you’re healing. Han’s eyebrows furrow as he examines your side, noticing the point where the bacta shot was injected, softly brushing his thumb across your side. You reel at the touch; not because it is painful, but because it is dangerous. You quickly lower your shirt, forcing Han’s hand off of your skin.
“A bacta shot?” Han asks quietly, meeting your eyes, realizing his judgement of your satisfied look was from the medicine and not a one night stand.
“Guess you figured out where I was tonight,” you huff, grabbing your weapons belt and starting to walk across the room to your door.
“Y/N…,” Han falters. You feel his gaze on you and your stomach churns.
“It doesn’t matter, Solo,” you say, pausing briefly before entering your room, locking the door behind you.
Falling into your bed for the night, you can still feel his touch on your stomach. You touch the spot a few times, making sure his finger wasn’t still there. The pit in your stomach grows, sending a warmth through your body, aching for Han.
No, you think. This can’t happen.
You try to recall the nasty fight you just had with him, his glares, his arrogance. It all comes to mind in a rose-colored facade. Fuck. Before you know it, the bacta effects overcome you to sleepiness. The medicine distracts you from the allure of one Han Solo, just long enough for you to get a full night’s sleep.

Binary Stars chap 1: Together
Oh shoot. I just hit 4k followers. It happened sooner than I thought because I got a big bump last week. In celebration, I wanted to start a new fic for you guys. I haven’t been writing fic lately due to nano burnout and not really feeling comfortable in fandom. but, clearly there are still people here who love Bellarke and love The 100 and that’s who has been following me. So. I thought that with all my theories I’ve been developing, and my growing obsession with the storylines that are still coming and my anticipation for the various alien world stories I am speculating, I decided how about some stories?
I am about to start a freelance gig ghostwriting, so I’m not sure how fast I’ll be writing for you, since I’ll have deadlines of my own, and one of the things that has kept me from writing this idea is that if I go ALL the way with my spec, it’s going to be a novel. That’s a LOT.
So I’m giving you this story, which has Bellarke talking about the 2199 calls, and maybe some others, and maybe we’ll keep it a loose collection of spec fics and interrelated stories. Maybe some alternate theories too. IDK what will happen. Let’s just give it a try and see. :)
Thanks for following me.
(as soon as i clean out my inbox backlog, I might open up my anons again, or I might open them up on a schedule. Still thinking about how to do it.)

Summary:
Immediately after season 5 is over, Bellamy and Clarke discuss who should be woken first. Which is business she can handle. They discuss 2199 days that have gone past... which she can't.
Chapter 1
First they woke Abby.
“This is the planet with the two suns, Clarke, you’re the only one who can be on the surface without getting radiation poisoning. And we’ve had enough of that,” Bellamy said while he made his bid for who they should wake first.
“Me and Madi,” Clarke said, biting her lip.
“Exactly. And we don’t want to use your blood—“
“Bone marrow.”
He looked horrified. She could see the memories of Mount Weather in his eyes. She had them, too.
“Even worse,” He said. “So we wake your mom and Jackson, and they make the night blood, then everyone will be protected on the planet. You won’t be special anymore.” He grinned at her then, ducking his head and looking up at her through his hair in a way that made her stomach flip. She couldn’t have that. She nodded swiftly. Business like.
“Like on Becca’s island. What she needed was zero G.”
Bellamy waved his hand at the window, looking out on deep space on the other side of the galaxy. “We have that.”
Once Abby was woken, they needed Raven and Shaw, to handle the technical side. That was also his suggestion. It was easier for her to let him decide. He was used to organizing people. She’d only had Madi. And she wanted her to wake, too.
“Definitely,” he said. “She’s the Commander. She has to be in on the decisions.”
“She’s eleven, Bellamy.”
He nodded. “And we’ll be here to help her make the right choices, won’t we?” She nodded. That was true at least. “And Gaia, to help her control the flame. She helped her. The more control she has, the more she won’t be at its mercy.”
Clarke nodded. Bellamy seemed to have everything under control. He seemed to know what to do. “We should wake Octavia and Diyoza, too, then. They know their people, what they need. How they’ll react to things.”
Bellamy bit his lip and looked away. She wanted to put her hand on his arm, to tell her she understood his sorrow and horror over what Octavia had become, but she couldn’t. It wasn’t hers.
“We should wake Indra too. And Miller. They can keep her in line.”
He shrugged. “Can they?”
She wanted to hug him so badly, but she lost that right. A long time ago. “We should wake your family, too,” she said. He needed them. “Echo. Murphy and Emori.”
Bellamy nodded, slowly, and stopped her with a hand to her shoulder. He turned her to face him. “You’re my family, too, Clarke, you know that right? You and Madi?”
Something in her chest twisted. She shoved it down and smiled brightly at Bellamy. “You’re my family, too,” and she knew the words rang falsely, because that was not it. That was not what he was to her, that was only the smallest part of what he was to her and she couldn’t let him know the rest because it wasn’t fair and it wasn’t real and he didn’t share it. So she smiled. And nodded. And let it be enough.
He shook his head. “No. Not like that, Clarke.”
“What?” Her throat was inexplicable dry, her heart suddenly leaping instead of twisting, maybe both. He held her with both hands now, firmly, so he could look into her eyes. His eyes wouldn’t let her go.
“Madi told me, Clarke.”
“Told you what?” Her words were a bare whisper, but she couldn’t let him know that it was not on purpose, that she did not have control over her voice, over her tongue, over the wild fluttering of her heart.
“She told me you called me every day you were down there. For six years.”
2199 days, she thought, but didn’t say. She just stared into his brown eyes. So warm. So deep. She had never forgotten his eyes but she had forgotten the way they made her feel.
“I talked to you, too, Clarke.”
Clarke’s breath caught.
“Every day. For 2199 days, I stood at the window and I told you what I was thinking, told you what I was feeling.”
“What?”
“Every day. I talked to you, too. I never forgot you. I never let you go.”
Clarke had to swallow. “But… but you thought I was dead.”
He nodded, his hands clenching on her arms. He shrugged. ‘My head knew you were dead. My heart?” He shook his head helplessly. “My heart didn’t care. Clarke, I was in lo—“
“You have a girlfriend.”
He held on tighter. “If you had made it to the ship—“
“Don’t.”
“If you had made it we could have—“
“Don’t, Bellamy.” The panic tightened at her throat and she broke his grip on her, pulling away. The thought of all she had lost. Of all that could have been. She couldn’t bear it. She went to the window, looked out at the planet with the two suns below them. Remembered what the dead earth looked like. Remembered those long six years of living there. Without him. She felt him come up behind her.
He let out a breath. She nearly melted. How was it that just someone’s breath could be so dear.
“I’m sorry Clarke, I just wanted you to know how I felt. If you don’t feel the same—“
“Bellamy…” and his name was filled with all her pain. Six years worth of it. And now. Knowing that he was not hers and could never be hers. “Bellamy… I can’t think about what could have happened…I can’t imagine… I can’t let myself imagine what I lost, that I could have had you…” The words came out choked, nearly voiceless. “It hurts.”
“Clarke,” he said, and he was so sympathetic…so caring… so sad. His hand lightly brushed her back, for comfort, she was sure, and she slipped away from his touch.
She stood at the side of the window and he stood at the other, that look on his face that said how sorry he was.
“I can’t think about the life I didn’t get to have with you, and the rest. I can’t think about being your family or anything else.”
“You are my family, Clarke. You always are, and always will be.”
She choked the sob that wanted to rise back down. She didn’t feel like it. What she’d done. All those years. Just her and Madi. “If I had made it, Madi would probably have died. She would have been all alone. She was just a little girl, Bellamy. That would have been worse. I got left—I stayed behind so I could find Madi.”
“Madi is our family, too, Clarke. I won’t ever let anything happen to her, I promise. I love her, too. You believe me, don’t you?”
Their choices lie between them. The flame. The gladiator ring. Echo. The Eligius. Everything they’d sacrificed. But Clarke believed that Bellamy would do everything in his power to protect Madi. And he’d done it even when he hadn’t agreed with his actions. He had stood there, beside Madi, and protected her. That was the man he was. Just like she’d always seen in him. A good man. A man she could trust. She nodded. “I believe you. And I believe that we can start a new life, me and Madi. You and Echo.”
He shook his head, one short, sharp shake and opened his mouth as if to speak but no words came out.
“ We can all be family, now. Because this is the life we have. This is the life we got. Me and Madi. You and Echo. Whatever we could have had? We didn’t. I spent too many years dreaming and wishing…I had to let it go. And now you have another life, too.” For a second she thought she’d given it away that she hadn’t let it go, hadn’t at all, until she saw him with Echo, but the pain was still too new. It hadn’t settled into her bones yet, gotten slower and deeper so she could breathe through it. It was still too sharp. She had to cut it off, completely. “And it’s a good life.”
She nodded as if it was decided. “She’s good for you. You’re happy. And I’m happy, too, with Madi. We can live with the lives we’ve got now, instead of the one that could have been. We should forget impossibilities, stop dwelling in the past. And look forward.” She was proud of herself for getting it out without the tears she could feel wanting to rise. She’d save those for when she was alone.
He watched her, though, as if he didn’t believe her. For a moment, Clarke thought that he would say no. That he would tell her he wanted something different, something more and her heartbeat sped up again. But instead, he lowered his eyes.
“We have a world to explore,” he said, and looked up at her, something deep burning in his gaze. “We’re a team again, and we’re going to be the good guys, now. Together.”
The word took her breath away. Like a vow. The times they’d shared it, years past, echoed through the ship. “Together,” she said and nodded.
They went to wake Echo, Murphy and Emori, and it wasn’t until much later that she realized he hadn’t agreed to forget.

Proven Wrong
Characters: Sam Winchester x!Plussize Reader x Dean Winchester (Of sorts)
Word Count: 2199
Summary: Sam and Dean are hanging out at a bar after a hunt when they spot the Reader celebrating with a few friends. When the Reader finds herself in a bit of a situation, she uses her self-confidence to get herself out, and give the boys a bit of eye candy fun.
A/N: As a plus size gal, I love seeing how some writers portray a plus size girl feeling sexy, feeling confident about herself since it’s a struggle sometimes to even get that confidence for one day. Especially when that confidence comes from a weak moment in life. Hope you guys enjoy this little imagination of mine and leave any comments letting me know how you enjoyed it or not. Thanks for reading this :)
MASTERLIST
**********************************
The bar door swung open as you and your group of friend’s head in, laughing and already tipsy. Your girlfriends had finally convinced you to get out of your rut after the horrible break up you had just a few weeks ago. You were going to marry the love of your life, well was and he sure wasn’t the love of your life anymore. After 5 years together and giving up your dream job in the city to move with him to a small town, your engagement lasted only a month. You had found out he was cheating on you for about a year and with none other than your little sister. So, you locked yourself up, only going out for work and food runs. But, your girlfriends came over and got you out of bed. They said you needed a fun night, something you hadn’t done in years.
When the girls made their way to the bar, you went straight to the bathroom to freshen up. As you looked yourself over in the bathroom mirror, you couldn’t help but feel that confidence you once had come back. You girls took you to buy a new outfit, a pair of black heeled ankle boots with a mid-thigh navy blue skirt with gold chain designs on it, wrapping around your thick thighs and curvy bottom. Your low cut black top with the push-up bra you wore under accentuated your breasts. The outfit was complete with a navy-blue jacket. The makeup was simple except the dark wine-red lipstick on your plump lips. It was your new hair that took you by surprise. You always kept your (H/C) long, mid back to be exact. Your hair was your comfort blanket to hide your round face. But because you wanted to forget everything and start a new, you decided to be brave and go for a short-angled bob. And the stylist gave you those beach wave curls. Looking at yourself one last time, you took in a deep breath and turned towards the door, letting that breath out as you made your way towards your girls.
Dean walked over to where he and Sam were sitting, smiling widely. Sam looked up from his laptop, noticing the smile on his brothers’ face. He glanced over at the bar, seeing the group of girls there. Sam shook his head, already knowing what happened. As Dean placed the beer bottles down on their table, he pulled out a few napkins with what Sam knew had numbers on them.
“All of them Sam, all of them and they are some very imaginative girls.”
Sam couldn’t help the laugh that escaped his lips. He grabbed the bottle and took a swing of the beer, but someone caught his eye, causing him to choke a bit. Sam’s coughing took Dean attention and he turned to look at what Sam was staring at, and he couldn’t help but do the same. The brothers noticed the girl, best said woman, that came out of the restroom and damn she was jaw-dropping. The curves she carried, the sway of her hips as she confidently made her way towards the bar. The brothers then turned to each other when they noticed she made her way to the group Dean was just flirting with.
“If she is with them….” said Sam.
“The she must be as much fun or more.” finished Dean.
Sam punched Dean on his arm from across the table for that comment.
Before you made your way to the bar, you noticed how your friends were flirting with this one guy, and damn he was hot. You watched as he made his way to a table with another extremely hot guy, but you shook your head, knowing neither would even give you a glance. But then you noticed two certain people walk into the bar. Your sister and ex-fiancée. Seeing them be all lovey-dovey, knowing that was you just a few weeks ago, that made you sober up quickly. But you wanted to show him what he messed up, what he would be missing out on. Happy to see them sit close to where your friends were, you straighten your back and began walking towards them, giving an extra sway to your hips. You pulled out all the self-confidence you had and walked like as if all eyes were on you like you owned the room.
Your friends screamed out when they saw you make your way to them, you noticed from the corner of your eyes how your ex stared, your sister pouting at him. But before you turned to face your friends, you noticed how the two sexy guys you were looking at before were checking you out. The short haired one must have said something though because the long-haired guy punched him from across the table, making you giggle as you face your friends. They all complimented you and telling you how happy they were seeing you behaving like before. That’s when your sister came over, smiling.
“Oh, hi sis, how’s it going? Nice seeing you out and about. Look, I wanted to say I was sorry about everything. But we are in love and well, with you, he would have gotten nowhere. I mean, I love you sis, but you should lose a bit of weight to be able to keep a guy.”
One of your friends tried pouncing over you to hit your sister but you stopped her just in time. You turned to your sister, keeping down the pain you felt at her words. She knew you were self-conscious about your body, using it as a weapon. But you decided two can play that game.
“If you truly loved me, you wouldn’t have pulled this little stunt of yours, always wanting what’s mine. But nah, that’s fine hun. You can have him, because if he is capable of cheating on me then he surely will with you.”
“We are engaged if you must know so he will never do to me what he did to you. I am more woman than you are, more beautiful than you. He isn’t afraid to show me off to his coworkers and friends and I can give him what he really wants.”
“Oh, I imagine you can, but I also know you can’t handle the things he is into, vanilla bitch. So why don’t you run off to be with him and leave me alone.”
“You think you are all that sis, but you can’t even keep a man let alone pick one up. So why don’t you go sign up for the gym instead of being here because trust me, you are going home alone tonight.”
That was the last straw. You knew your sister was always jealous of your outcomes. You were one of the top five graduates in high school, free ride to the college of your choosing, being able to even get an offer at your dream job, but you worked hard for all the good you had in life. She wanted a free ride and everything given to her on a silver platter. She wanted everything you had because she knew she couldn’t reach what you had achieved and do it while being lazy. So, with this push, you did what any sane person with alcohol in their system would do.
“Wanna get proven wrong? Alright, not only am I not going home alone tonight, but I am taking two. And I already know the two guys that will go with me.”
You tilted your head towards the two guys you saw earlier. You sister turned to look at them and laughed.
“As if…” but she stopped talking as you made your way towards their table. The boys noticed you walking towards them and were frozen in their seats, waiting for you. But instead, you winked at them and moved towards the dance floor, swaying your ass at them. Once you were on the dancefloor, you began to sway and move with the music, raking your hands along your body. You made sure you were in clear view for the guys, keeping your eyes on them when you faced them. You turned around and began to shake your ass at them, turning around to bite your lower lip, giving them a seductive look.
One of your friends joined you on the dance floor to add to the show you were giving. She pulled you closer, grinding your bodies together to the music, grabbing your ass as you wrapped yours around her waist. You both gave a show that everyone in the bar couldn’t help but stare. This was totally out of your comfort zone but was thankful your friend joined you to help. She turned in your arms and grinded her butt on your front, making you both laugh. You lost yourself with the music and dancing, forgetting the purpose of being on the dancefloor. You raised your skirt a bit higher, pulled your shirt a bit lower. You raked your hands through your hair as you grinded into your friend, having fun. You friend then turned to face you and grabbed your face between her hands, placing a big kiss on your lips. It had been a while since you kissed a girl and gave in easily. You dragged your tongue on her lower lip, making her open to you so you could deepen the kiss. She wrapped her hands in your hair as you pulled her closer.
An applause exploded around you both, hoots and hollers at the show you both gave. Once the kiss ended, you both laughed and hugged each other, your friend whispering in your ear that now the guys would certainly be into you. You both made your way off the dancefloor, she to the rest of the group as you walked towards the guys you were impressing, but someone grabbed your arm. You turned to see your ex there, staring at you.
“Wow, you looked so good out there. Why didn’t you ever show me that side of you?”
“Because you never took the time to find out even after 5 years. All you cared about was yourself and I was dumb enough to follow.”
You tried yanking your arm from him, but he kept his grip, pulling you closer.
“Let’s give this a second chance then. Your sister was just fun, I honestly don’t want her. I want you.”
“Let me go, now. You lost me the moment you slept with my sister.”
“Is everything ok here?”
You turned to see the two guys standing behind you, staring your ex down. Damn, they were taller than you thought. They were even taller than your ex.
“Just talking to my fiancée guys…”
“I am not your fiancée and I don’t want to talk to you!”
The taller of the two stepped forward, his glare deadly.
“I would let her go if I were you. Seems she doesn’t want to talk to you.”
You ex looked between both guys and decided to let you go. He backed up and went over to your sister, who slapped him and ran off, leaving the ring she was wearing on the bar. You sighed and turned to face the two guys that helped you, impressed by their strength.
“Thanks, but I could’ve handled that just fine.”
“Oh, we know you could have, but it’s nice to be able to help a sexy gal like yourself.” said the short-haired one at you with a wink.
Smiling up at them, you couldn’t help but notice the pair of green and hazel eyes upon you. You suddenly felt a bit self-conscious about what you did on the dancefloor.
“Sorry about all that, just my sister pissed me off and…. well, thanks for helping me out but I will leave you guys alone. Hope you have a great night.”
Before you could make your way back to your friends, two hands landed on your shoulders, making you turn back to face them.
“Well we did enjoy your little show up there…” said the short hair one.
“And you do seem like you would enjoy a bit of fun tonight.” finished the long-haired one.
You looked at them carefully before a wide smile came out.
“Think you could handle a big girl like me boys?”
“Oh we know we can for sure, right Sammy?”
You laughed out loud and extended your hand out to shake theirs.
“(Y/N), and you two are?”
“I’m Dean and this is my baby brother Sam.”
You shook their hands and loved how rough and strong they felt, already picturing how they would feel on your body.
“Such a pleasure to meet you, boys. Now, what do you two say we get outta here. Say my place?”
Before they had a chance to respond, you made your way between them, sliding your hands along their chest and strutted yourself towards the door of the bar. You then turned to face them, winking and using a finger to tell them to follow as you made your way out the door. You knew tonight was going to be a night to remember.

I’m going on hiatus
It has been two months since The Last Jedi came out and I still feel no desire to post anything related to SW. I hate to say this, but the movie drained my passion for the series.
Just to be clear, I have been a Rey Nobody fan since day one. The Force Awakens and Rogue One relighted my love for the franchising. For two years I couldn’t stop talking about Star Wars. I red the new novels, comics, visual dictionaries. I listened and red b-t-s, interviews, analysis, podcasts. I bought the merchandising and played the card game. Star Wars seemed to be in good hands and Disney proved to be in control of its investment.
Then TLJ came and I was left speechless by the lack of cohesion with the previous canon. What happened? Why did LucasArts allow Rian Johnson so much freedom to the point of writing a script that contradict previous established characterizations, goals, timelines and world-building? What was even the point to have a Story Group? LucasArts and whoever worked with them gave all the same POV on the making of the movies. Rian, by contrast, keep giving an opposite version. What the fuck is happening? Who is lying?
The joy of commenting, reblogging, following secondary projects, enjoying the bts, etc...is to get a better idea of what is happening in the movies and who the characters are. Now I can’t post or read anything without thinking: “what is even the point anymore? They may change things randomly anyway”. I was left with no desire to analyse and research. What is even worse is that I was left with no desire to see Episode IX.
I felt let down as a fan. I felt played.
As I also felt played by the script of TLJ.
There are some very beautiful and cool scenes, but overall it is didactic, overcrowded, rushed and at times stupid. I have already explained some issues in this post. It feels more like a draft than a final script. I couldn’t immerse myself in the story, because I kept seeing in front of me a list of plot-points that were progressively checked to get the to nth “cool moment”. With the exception of Kylo, who has the best arc, the characters are there just to let the story goes where Rian wants. Mark Hamill expressed the same issue: “[...] Rian needed me to be a certain way to make the ending effective. That’s the crux of my problem: Luke would never say that. [...] He’s not my Luke Skywalker, but I had to do what Rian wanted me to do because it serves the story well”.
The characters in this movie are not the same characters I liked so much in TFA, despite it been set right after it. Where is Rey? How could she behave like that? Why does she looks like that? but most importantly, why she is not the protagonist anymore? TLJ!Rey? I do not know her. I am too disappointed to even write down anything more.
Poe’s and Finn’s arcs were a mess as well.
I got the feeling that Rian doesn’t really care about Finn when he said that weird “joke” during Star Wars Celebration, but now it is obvious. Finn is a secondary character. He seems in the story only because he “has to be” in the story, but beside providing an useful intel about the FO, he spends the movie passively tagging along. Yeah, he has a “character moment” (the face-off with Phasma), but it is so short that is ridiculous and lacks any pathos, unlike the fight he had against FN-2199 in TFA. I get Finn needs to have a reason to stay with the Resistance, but he could had had an arc that does not treat him as someone who needs others to didactically explain things to him as he were a kid. One thing that really bothers me is that, while TFA makes the audience laugh with Finn or at what he is going through, TLJ makes the audience laugh AT him. I especially despise how his injuries are only there to serve as a comic relief. I have already said how disappointed I was of Rose’s out-of-the-blue kiss, but re-watching TLJ, even her’s final words (”That's how we're going to win. Not fighting what we hate, but saving what we love”) sounds off. At the very beginning of the movie Finn was doing exactly that: not fighting what he hates (the FO), but saving the one he loves (Rey) by bringing the beacon away from a doomed fleet. Even more striking was the lack of interest from Rian to make Finn react to the the slave children in Canto Bright, despite the fact that Finn is an ex-slave child himself...but...like...who cares?
Poe. Poe was...I don’t know where to begin and I will offer links to others people’s posts to keep it short [ x x x x x x ]. The Poe of the previous canon didn’t need to learn “his lesson”. The Star Wars universe didn’t need sexism (one of the great thing about Star Wars was that its galaxy didn’t have a sexism problem)(or, if we want to split hairs, it was an issue relegated to “retrograde” Outer Rim worlds). As the granddaughter of a military commander and a partisan who fought against real fascists, I felt played by the Holdo/Poe plot. It is stupid and forced just for the sake of create a conflict. Based on real life war stories I have heard since childhood, Poe’s mutiny is comprehensible, not the total misstep Rian portraits it to be. Also, regarding Holdo, she didn’t need to die, not when the Resistance has droids. Set coordinates and press a lever is a simple task, there is no real reason for Holdo to do it herself. I hated to see her killed off right after her role (prompt up the male lead) was completed, especially considering how rare queer older female character in a leading role are. It was similar to what happened to Rose: she deliver her last “lesson” to her male character and then she is out of the picture. WTF? As a woman I felt mocked by Rian’s reason for Poe to despise Holdo. It is so stupid. What does “real feminine energy” even mean? What fuck up idea does he have about gender? Moreover, when I red that Rian wanted Holdo to wear an unpractical, out-of-place, floor length dress, without any belts or pockets, just to make her look “feminine”, I couldn’t not think of the times I and my girlfriends have been forced to dress and behave “feminine” just to be taken seriously or keep a job. Our personalities, tastes, comfort, health, they were all dismissed, because what was more important was to appear feminine. Like...fuck it! I didn’t need Holdo to wear an uniform (especially when in Star Wars uniforms are not mandatory for military leaders), but I would had wanted, at least, something that makes sense on a military starship under attack: a practical outfit with space to keep a com-link and a blaster. Instead I get the usual “gender over logic” rhetoric when it comes to female outfits. ----------------------------
Hiring David Benioff and D.B. Weiss was the last straw. I lost any trust in LucasArts and any upcoming projects. Maybe Ep. IX will make me come back, who knows? but until then, I am out.

In a World…
Join these sci-fi pros as they speculate upon the wide range of science fiction and the diverging directions their own tales take.
B SESSIONS: 12:15-1:00 + 2:15-3:00 in the CRLS Library (2nd Floor)
Moderated by Sasha Alsberg and Lindsay Cummings.
Empress of a Thousand Skies by Rhoda Belleza Empress Rhee, also known as Crown Princess Rhiannon Ta’an, is the sole surviving heir to a powerful dynasty. She’ll stop at nothing to avenge her family and claim her throne. Fugitive Aly has risen above his war refugee origins to find fame as the dashing star of a DroneVision show. But when he’s falsely accused of killing Rhee, he’s forced to prove his innocence to save his reputation – and his life. Madman With planets on the brink of war, Rhee and Aly must confront a ruthless evil that threatens the fate of the entire galaxy. Rhoda Belleza crafts a powerful saga of vengeance, warfare, and the true meaning of legacy in this exhilarating debut, perfect for readers of Marissa Meyer’s Lunar Chronicles and Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman’s Illuminae Files. All Rights Reserved by Gregory Scott Katsoulis Speth Jime is anxious to deliver her Last Day speech and celebrate her transition into adulthood. The moment she turns fifteen, Speth must pay for every word she speaks (“Sorry” is a flat ten dollars and a legal admission of guilt), for every nod ($0.99/sec), for every scream ($0.99/sec) and even every gesture of affection. She’s been raised to know the consequences of falling into debt, and can’t begin to imagine the pain of having her eyes shocked for speaking words that she’s unable to afford. But when Speth’s friend Beecher commits suicide rather than work off his family’s crippling debt, she can’t express her shock and dismay without breaking her Last Day contract and sending her family into Collection. Backed into a corner, Speth finds a loophole: rather than read her speech—rather than say anything at all—she closes her mouth and vows never to speak again. Speth’s unexpected defiance of tradition sparks a media frenzy, inspiring others to follow in her footsteps, and threatens to destroy her, her family and the entire city around them. Rebel Seoul by Axie Oh EAST ASIA, 2199. After a great war, the East Pacific is in ruins. In brutal Neo Seoul, where status comes from success in combat, ex-gang member Lee Jaewon is a talented pilot rising in the academy’s ranks. Abandoned as a child in the slums of Old Seoul by his rebel father, Jaewon desires only to escape his past. When Jaewon is recruited into the most lucrative weapons development division in Neo Seoul, he is eager to claim his best shot at military glory. But the mission becomes more complicated when he meets Tera, a test subject in the government’s supersoldier project. Tera was trained for one purpose: to pilot one of the lethal God Machines, massive robots for a never-ending war. With secret orders to report on Tera, Jaewon becomes Tera’s partner, earning her reluctant respect. But as respect turns to love, Jaewon begins to question his loyalty to an oppressive regime that creates weapons out of humans. As the project prepares to go public amidst rumors of a rebellion, Jaewon must decide where he stands–as a soldier of the Republic, or a rebel of the people. Want by Cindy Pon Jason Zhou survives in a divided society where the elite use their wealth to buy longer lives. The rich wear special suits, protecting them from the pollution and viruses that plague the city, while those without suffer illness and early deaths. Frustrated by his city’s corruption and still grieving the loss of his mother who died as a result of it, Zhou is determined to change things, no matter the cost. With the help of his friends, Zhou infiltrates the lives of the wealthy in hopes of destroying the international Jin Corporation from within. Jin Corp not only manufactures the special suits the rich rely on, but they may also be manufacturing the pollution that makes them necessary. Yet the deeper Zhou delves into this new world of excess and wealth, the more muddled his plans become. And against his better judgment, Zhou finds himself falling for Daiyu, the daughter of Jin Corp’s CEO. Can Zhou save his city without compromising who he is, or destroying his own heart?

2199 followers celebration question: how do you want bellarke to get together/end up?
Oooh this is a hard question. Part of me wants to say I’ll be okay with whatever they give us, because it is kind of true. I feel like we’ve been waiting so long that anything is going to feel like payoff, lol.
But. Let’s see. I’m kind of digging the brainwashed!Bellamy theory and Clarke kissing him to get him out of it. I think that’s cute.
I think. I THINK my preference though... I want it to be on Bardo. I kind of want them to be alone, maybe they’ve been captured, and they’re being given a chance to say goodbye. Something like that. And then Bellamy would finally tell Clarke what he wanted to tell her on the beach in season four and then they’d kiss and it would be a beautifully scored moment by Tree Adams, because he always knocks it out of the park. And Clarke would be confused and surprised, because she was so sure that Bellamy couldn’t be into her anymore.
Ideally, they’d end up together on a peaceful planet, living out a life with Madi, Octavia, and the rest of their family. I don’t know if I think they’ll get an ending like that. I’d love to see an ending shot where they’re looking over their new home and it ends with Clarke reaching out and taking Bellamy’s hand. I’d be sad if there wasn’t an onscreen kiss, but I’d actually accept that as them getting together in the end. (if that makes sense)
Talk to me about Bellarke or send me drabble requests to celebrate 2199 followers!
#bellarke#2199 follower celebration#this is the most thought i've put into the way they might actually canonically get together#wolfheartgirl#erin answers things

Giants of steel, a new voyage awaits!
So for those of you that care, for the past couple of weeks I’ve been literally glued to my PS4 playing this game. Super Robot Wars V!
What the heck is Super Robot Wars? SRW, as it’s often abbreivated by fans, is a turn based strategy game created by Banpresto featuring various anime, more often than not with some sort of a mecha/robot/gundam-ish figure in it, and connecting them all into an overarching story. Last year as SRW was celebrating it’s 25th anniversary this game was announced as one of two games to celebrate the occasion but what makes these two entries special is the fact that Bandai Namco Ent. of Asia had decided to localize and release these games with a full English translation.
So what’s the big deal about that you may ask? Well, for myself as a log time fan of the series, I got my start with Super Robot Wars F on the Sega Saturn. I didn’t know a single word of Japanese back then and I relied on my friend who had introduced me to the game to give my a synopsis. But why did I bother playing? It was mostly for the fact that I got to see so many of my favorite anime character fight alongside each other! It’s really as simple as that, for me atleast.
Coming back to the point I was making, the reason a localization is a big deal makes this the first time that I, as well as many other fans, will be able to fully appreciate everything these games offer. From the big story to the small little character interactions between series representatives, everything is there for us to enjoy.
The V in Super Robot War V stands for Voyage, standing for the series new growth into other countries outside of Japan. The word Voyage is something that is really important to remember thought this game as one of the main highlights of the game’s story follows the anime Space Battleship Yamato 2199, a remake of the same classic space opera anime of the same name. In short, as the Earth is dying from repeated attacks from aliens known as the Gamilas the remaining survivors build the titular ship in secret in order to send it on a 148,000 light-year journey to the planet Iscandar to obtain a means to restore the Earth. As mentioned earlier, several anime series are folded into the story very well to make a convincing world that contains them. The anime featured in this game are as follows:
Invincible Super Man Zambot 3
Invincible Steel Man Daitarn 3
Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam
Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ
Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack
Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash
Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny
Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer
Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn
The Brave Express Might Gaine
Martian Successor Nadesico: The Motion Picture ~ Prince of Darkness
Getter Robo Armageddon
Shin Mazinger Impact Z!
Shin Mazinger Zero
Shin Mazinger Zero vs. The Great General of Darkness
Full Metal Panic! (Fumoffu, The Second Raid and the Light Novels)
The Evangelion (re)Build Movie trilogy
Space Battleship Yamato 2199
Cross Ange: Rondo of Angel and Dragon
This list may look fairly daunting at first but the main stories of some of the anime like Yamato and Cross Ange, to name a couple, take the main focus while series like Zeta Gundam and SEED Destiny are very minor parts.
I’ve really enjoyed this game from the get go and the story was great enough for me to really want to get to the end and tie up all the loose ends in the story. The battle animations are really fun to watch as alot of the original voice actors do come in an have dialogue recorded for the attacks. While friendly to newcomers to the series, I think it provides plenty of challenge for veterans. If you enjoy strategy RPGs I definitely recommend picking up this entry to the series if you can!
#Super Robot Wars V#personal#I was so excited after my first run that I really wanted to say something
