Husqvarna motorcycles are known for their distinct design, which is true in the case of the Vitpilen 801 as well. The bike has a new bi-LED projector headlight with an oval-shaped LED DRL around it. It gives the bike a different look.

The fuel tank has an edgy design, again in keeping with the design ethos of Husqvarna. Another interesting design element of the bike is the side panel and how it fuses with the tail section. The Vitpilen 801’s design will be one of its strongest USPs.
Under the bodywork, you have a steel chassis suspended by an adjustable, WP Apex USD and monoshock. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels with Michelin Road 6 tyres. Braking duties, meanwhile, are taken care of by twin discs at the front and a disc at the rear.
Powering the Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 is a 799cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. It makes 105bhp at 9,250rpm and 87Nm at 8,000rpm and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The engine is known for its character, sound and punchy midrange.
The bike is loaded with features, be it LED lights, ride modes, cornering traction control and ABS with Supermoto mode. This mode deactivates rear ABS, allowing the rider to lock the rear brake and slide the rear.
All the settings for the aforementioned modes can be accessed and tweaked via the menus on the Bluetooth-enabled TFT display.
The Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 goes up against the KTM 890 Duke, Triumph Street Triple R and the Kawasaki Z900.
The 2025 Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 has been unveiled globally. The bike receives a few styling tweaks among other changes and here are some of the highlights of the motorcycle.
