November 10, 2024 at 10:34pm PHT: Because I wanted to take screenshots of my "Death & Rebirth" post and found out I made it on August 27, 2022 at 11:47pm PHT which matched the seconds on the time. It reminded me of what happened on April 7, 2023 which was the day when I spontaneously decided to finish watching Alex Proyas' Knowing (2009) after stalling and rewinding it for countless of times already. It also happened to be a Good Friday and my brother-in-law's 28th birthday. ❤

Dinner was, eventful, to say the least. Shujin was holding their school festival soon and Futaba wanted to come. She wanted to see what high school life was like before making her decision to attend. She was considering attending Shujin, since she already knew Ann and Ryuji, Akira was looking into staying at Leblanc for another year, and Makoto could always give her advice. But she was also open to attending Kosei, though she vehemently denied a certain blue-haired art boy to be the reason she was considering it when Sojiro asked her. Akira, Sojiro, and Wakaba all doubted that. The chatting continued as Akira cleared the dishes and wiped down the table while Sojiro took to washing the dishes. Soon after, the Sakura family returned home for the night and Akira locked up the store.

Akira sat on his bed, Morgana at his side, as he pulled up his messaging app. He wondered about Haru. He felt there was something about her that she was hiding. Something that bothered her to deal with, but also was too troubling to bring up. Though if she was a third year, he knew someone that could help him. He clicked on the thread featuring a side portrait of a girl on a dark blue background.

Akira (9:43pm): Sorry it’s late. Got a minute?

Makoto (9:43pm): Is something wrong?

Akira (9:43pm): Maybe? Possibly?

Akira (9:45pm): There’s something I need help with involving a student, and I think you can help. But I also need information on her to be sure.

Akira (9:47pm): All I know is a name and year, but the student is a third year, so I thought you would know more.

The speech bubble popped up and disappeared a few times. He began to worry, but a message finally appeared.

Makoto (9:54pm): I can meet you in the Student Council room after school on Monday.

Akira (9:54pm): Thank you so much, Makoto!

Makoto (9:56pm): In exchange, you can take me to the red light district tomorrow.

Makoto (9:57pm): Wait… no.

Akira (9:57pm): Makoto, I’m flattered, but…

Makoto (9:58pm): Stop.

Akira (9:58pm): I think I’m still too young to partake in many of its offerings.

Makoto (9:59pm): Akira, I swear…

Makoto (10:00pm): You know what I meant!

“Well, Morgana, I guess tomorrow’s plans are set for us. Even on a Sunday, Prez works hard. Looks like it’s time to get some sleep.” Morgana let out a meow in agreement before stretching out and curling up. Akira gave a yawn of his own. “Does Haru seem lonely to you?” A softer meow. “Yeah, I think so, too. I wonder if we can help her.” He let out a stronger yawn. “Goodnight, Morgana,” he said as he closed his eyes.
