Apa itu air aki mobil?

Air aki mobil memiliki peran penting sebagai komponen vital dalam kendaraan. Termasuk juga mobil. Keberadaan aki sangat berpengaruh pada kinerja komponen lain dalam mobil. Maka dari itu penting sekali menjaga kondisi aki tetap stabil agar dapat digunakan dengan baik.

Aki mobil kemasan warna merah

Air aki yang ditemui di pasaran dengan kemasan berwarna merah disebut air aki mobil zuur. Cairan ini dianggap berbahaya karena dapat menimbulkan iritasi bila mengenai kulit. Selain itu juga dapat menimbulkan lubang bila menetes pada kain karena sifatnya yang korosif.

Pemakaian air aki mobil zuur sebaiknya dilakukan dengan hati-hati. Selain bersifat korosif dan menimbulkan iritasi, aki zuur juga dapat menyebabkan karat bila terkena logam. Beberapa hal tersebut adalah bahaya yang dapat ditimbulkan oleh pemakaian aki zuur bila tidak hati-hati.

Selebihnya, air aki mobil zuur memiliki peran yang sangat penting untuk kinerja kendaraan termasuk juga mobil. Air aki zuur diisikan pertama kali untuk dipakai pengoperasian kendaraan karena memiliki sifat elektrolit yang kuat.

Air aki mobil kemasan warna biru

Berbeda dari air untuk air aki mobil yang dikemas dengan warna merah, air aki dengan kemasan berwarna biru memiliki karakteristik tersendiri. Jenis ini lebih bersifat aman dari aki mobil zuur aki ini bersifat netral dan tidak pekat.

Air aki mobil yang dikemas dengan warna biru tidak memiliki sifat korosif maupun menimbulkan karat. Hal ini dikarenakan sifatnya yang murni tanpa ada kandungan unsur logam. Karakteristik air ini digunakan untuk mengisi ulang jika kondisi aki mobil mulai berkurang

Perbedaan kandungan air aki mobil

Perbedaan sifat dan karakteristik masing-masing air aki mobil baik merah maupun biru pada dasarnya disebabkan oleh kandungan senyawa yang menyusunnya. Senyawa ini menjadi komponen utama pembentuk masing-masing cairan sehingga memiliki karakteristik berbeda.

Setiap senyawa yang terkandung di dalamnya memiliki kadar tersendiri sehingga kedua aki mobil perlu digabungkan agar susunan senyawa menjadi stabil. Kondisi senyawa yang stabil akan memudahkan mesin kendaraan beroperasi tanpa gangguan. Berikut susunan senyawa yang terkandung dalam masing-masing aki dalam kemasan yang berbeda:

Air aki mobil dalam kemasan merah (Aki Zuur)

Komponen utama penyusun air aki mobil zuur adalah asam sulfat (h2so4). Sifat keasaman yang dimiliki oleh asam sulfat ini yang membuat aki zuur menjadi bersifat korosif, mudah menimbulkan iritasi, dan dapat menimbulkan karat bila terkena logam.

Kadar asam sulfat yang tinggi tentu saja akan menimbulkan bahaya bila digunakan dengan ceroboh. Di sisi lain, keberadaan asam sulfat dalam kadar yang dimiliki air aki mobil zuur berpotensi menjadi elektrolit yang baik dalam komponen kendaraan.

Air aki mobil zuur dinilai mampu menghantarkan dan menyimpan aliran listrik bila kendaraan sedang dioperasikan. Hal ini menjadi bukti bahwa penting sekali memperhatikan kondisi aki zuur dengan memperhatikan bahaya yang ditimbulkan bila digunakan dengan ceroboh.

Air aki mobil dalam kemasan biru

Sedangkan air aki mobil kemasan biru, merupakan air yang telah dimurnikan. Maksud dari dimurnikan adalah air ini telah mengalami demineralisasi. Penghilangan kadar mineral dalam air ini menjadikan aki biru memiliki sifat murni yang tidak membahayakan seperti halnya air merah.

Sifatnya yang murni cenderung membuat air aki mobil kemasan biru dikenal dengan akuades. Tanpa adanya unsur logam, maka dalam praktiknya aki biru memiliki fungsi tersendiri untuk digunakan bersama air aki merah (air aki zuur)

Fungsi masing-masing air aki

Air aki mobil merupakan gabungan dari keduanya, yaitu air aki zuur dan aki biru. Takaran yang tepat untuk mengkomposisikan kadar accu adalah 70% aki merah, dan 30% aki biru.

1. Aki merah sebaiknya diisikan pertama kali ketika masih dari pabrikan. Hal ini dikarenakan komposisi aki merah sangat sesuai dengan keperluan mobil. Sifat elektrolit yang dimiliki aki merah cukup memiliki peran signifikan dalam pengoperasian kinerja mobil.

2. Sedangkan untuk aki biru, dimanfaatkan sebagai penambah aki jenis basah bila level aki sudah dinilai mulai mengering. Sifatnya yang murni memberikan peredaman suhu bila aki zuur dirasa panas ketika dalam perjalanan.

Air aki mobil yang panas selanjutnya dapat mengalami masa mendidih dan menguap. Tentu sangat bahaya sekali bila mesin ditemukan sangat panas sedangkan masih dalam perjalanan jauh. Ada baiknya bila membawa air aki biru sebagai penambah aki ketika kondisi dirasa mulai tidak stabil. Sehingga, bila kondisi aki mulai berkurang volumenya saat di perjalanan, tidak perlu panik untuk mencari aki yang ditambahkan.

Tips menambah air aki mobil yang benar dan aman

Akan ada masanya dimana air aki mobil harus ditambahkan. Kebutuhan mobil terkait konsumsi aki harus diperhatikan agar tahu dimana kondisi yang tepat ketika harus menambahkan air aki. Berbeda jenis air aki, berbeda pula kadar konsumsinya sehingga berdampak pada cara penambahan air aki. Berikut sedikit tips untuk menambahkan air aki secara benar.

Hindari pemakaian air aki mobil zuur sebagai isian bila volume aki mulai berkurang. Hal ini hanya akan menyebabkan sel-sel dalam aki mengalami kerusakan dan aki tidak akan bertahan lama. Jadi, sangat tidak disarankan menggunakan aki zuur untuk mengisi volume air yang mulai berkurang. Sebaiknya, gunakan aki biru untuk mengisi volume aki bila dirasa mulai berkurang.

Selain dapat merawat sel aki tetap hidup, penggunaan air aki mobil biru sesuai kadarnya tidak akan merusak aki utama (air aki merah). Perlu diperhatikan juga bahwa aki merah adalah jenis aki yang diisikan pertama kali dari pabrikan, bukan untuk menambah bila volume mulai berkurang
