Gearing Up for the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser to Make its Way to Orlando Toyota
We’re so excited that Toyota has decided to revive the iconic Land Cruiser SUV! Toyota of Orlando is here to let you know what to expect from the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser when it arrives next spring.
Tumblr media
You may remember that in 2021 Toyota released the last Land Cruiser model, which was a large luxury SUV. It had a super sleek and sophisticated design with great off-roading capabilities and featured a 5.7L V8 engine. The negatives of this vehicle were the lack of fuel efficiency and the high MSRP - more than $80k. The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser will have some major differences and improvements - here are some of the biggest elements:
Bigger focus on off-roading functionality
Not as “luxury” as the 2021 Land Cruiser
MSRP around $50k range
i-FORCE-MAX turbocharged 2.4L four-cylinder hybrid powertrain
The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser: What to Expect
Here are just a few details that our Orlando team knows about the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser so far!
Global TNGA-F body-on-frame made from extremely strong steel, giving more rigidity to the chassis
4.4 inches narrower and 1.2 inches shorter than 2021 model
Three different models - the Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Land Cruiser 1958, and Toyota Land Cruiser First Edition
i-FORCE MAX engine will get 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque (plus better fuel efficiency)
Full-time four-wheel drive system with center locking differential and electronically controlled two-speed transfer case
Let’s Talk About the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Design Features
Smaller interior - 5 seater with a moonroof instead of 8 seats like the 2021 model
New technology including the latest Audio Multimedia System with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected services, and over-the-air updates
12.3-inch multimedia monitor and 14-speaker premium JBL sound system
Each model will have a different interior - from fabric choice to SofTex to leather-trimmed seats in multiple colors
Unique heritage badging, round headlights, and new paint colors such as Wind Chill Pearl, Trail Dust, and Heritage Blue
Sporty, boxy exterior with RIGID lighting and 18” alloy wheels
Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 system with blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and hill start assist control

Old Land Cruiser Wins Against the New
Tumblr media
Toyota just unveiled the most recent iteration of their renowned Land Cruiser SUV, which is built on brand-new architecture and features a twin-turbo V-6 engine. Here, we'll remind you of the key distinctions between the current and previous versions.
The Motor:
A newly created 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 409 horsepower (305 kW) and 650 Nm of torque has replaced the 5.7-liter V8.
The turbo pair allows the V6 to generate almost 30 horsepower more than the V8 despite having fewer cylinders. Torque increases considerably by about 108 Nm, and the engine is also more efficient than the engine in the previous iteration.
Front Exterior:
The GR Yaris hot hatch and Supra's headlight design are somewhat evocative of the new front of the LC300, which adds a touch of modernity both inside and out.
The latest generation features two front grilles, albeit one of them is small in size and extends from the bottom of the huge grille to contact the headlamps as soon as we glance at the automobile. The Land Cruiser 2022 now has a more intimidating aspect than the 2021 model, which has a massive grille that separates the headlamps into two halves.
Rear Exterior:
The slimmer LED lights in the 2022 edition, combined with a thinner back glass, made the design seem smaller than the previous car, which led many fans to prefer the older version.
The Interior:
With the addition of an entertainment system compatible with a 9-inch screen as standard and a 12.3-inch screen as an option, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, the inside of the 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser underwent clear and sophisticated improvements.
The potential for wireless smartphone charging, a 360-degree camera, and a front screen on the windscreen are other distinguishing features.
The Land Cruiser 2021, on the other hand, has an integrated navigation system with a 9-inch touchscreen and wireless charging for gadgets. A 14-speaker JBL audio system and satellite radio are included as standard. The options menu may include a rear-seat entertainment system with two 11.6-inch screens and a pair of wireless headphones.
We appreciate everyone who voted, and please check back frequently for new Tazweed coverage.

2021 Toyota Venza review: Rebooting into luxury
New Post has been published on https://appradab.com/2021-toyota-venza-review-rebooting-into-luxury/
2021 Toyota Venza review: Rebooting into luxury
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes, that’s a Venza.
Tim Stevens/Roadshow
It’s quite common, expected even, that a given model of car will grow and grow as it ages through subsequent redesigns and refreshes. Like many of us, cars get bigger as they get older. But, it’s not every day that a given model genuinely moves up-market, offering the same level of feature and function but in a nicer package. In this way, the new Venza is a bit of a rare bird, its 2021 model year reboot turning this machine from a frumpy family hauler to a clean, sharp and genuinely premium SUV.
Like
Sharp new looks
Good efficiency and drivability
That crazy roof
Don’t Like
Entune needs a similar retooling
And that’s important because there are oh so many crossovers and SUVs to choose from these days. Hell, just keeping in the family you have the C-HR, RAV4, Highlander, 4Runner, Sequoia and Land Cruiser to choose from. How, then, does a product like the Venza break from the den of anonymity?
Well, it starts off with a fresh new look that’s sharp and distinctive while still honoring its Toyota DNA, particularly the gaping lower grille and aggressively pronounced rear fenders. Compared to its van-like, family friendly predecessor, it’s a revelation.
The interior reboot is just as drastic, especially when equipped with the 12.3-inch touchscreen that’s standard on the Limited-trim model you see here, optional on the lower specs. Beneath that, the Limited features a smooth panel of capacitive-touch buttons that looks great, though the lack of a volume knob is, as ever, a bummer.
Keep moving down to find a Qi inductive charging pad for keeping your phone topped up wirelessly, situated in a generous cubby into which Toyota engineers curiously saw fit to hide the engine start button. That storage compartment, plus the rest of the interior, is rimmed with subtle, colored lighting — helpful, because it’s awfully dark otherwise.
This is guaranteed to get a “whoa” from your most jaded of passengers, and when’s the last time a practical SUV did that?
Also helpful is the panoramic glass ceiling, which not only lets in lots of light but hides the Venza’s best party trick. That glass is (optionally) electrochromic, meaning at the touch of a button it clicks to a foggy opaque. This is guaranteed to get a “whoa” from your most jaded of passengers, and when’s the last time a practical SUV did that?
Sadly, the software running in here isn’t likely to garner such a response. Up on that big, pronounced touchscreen you’ll find Toyota’s tried-and-true Entune system. That’s a polite way of saying it looks low-res and dated, especially the navigation interface. Thankfully, with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay onboard, you can at least hide all that pretty quickly.
What’s going on under the hood is far more modern, with every version of the Venza spinning the same 2.5-liter, Atkinson-cycle inline-four-cylinder engine paired up with not one, not two, but three electric motors. The two up front help the gasoline engine, while the one at the back provides this SUV’s all-wheel-drive capability.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There’s a lot going on here.
Tim Stevens/Roadshow
Together with the 0.9 kWh worth of lithium-ion batteries, Toyota says this system provides 219 horsepower, with 176 hp and 163 pound-feet of torque coming from the gasoline engine alone. That means a decidedly front-biased power delivery. Interestingly, despite the tiny battery and not being a plug-in, the Venza can be driven in a full-electric mode… sort of. Top speed here is somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 mph and, should you nuzzle the throttle with anything more than a kitten’s touch, the engine spins up and you’re rudely kicked from the the land that is free of emissions. Still, it’s nice for calm cruises through parking lots or silent, early morning escapes from ninjas.
When pressed harder the Venza accelerates cleanly and smoothly, the CVT eliminating shifts but resulting in typical engine drone. Still, it’s not much of a bother and, whether you’re in Eco or Sport mode, the Venza has more than enough pep to get you ahead in traffic. Given that, I spent most of my week in Eco mode and got a more than respectable 40.5 miles-per-gallon. That’s just a half a tick ahead of the Venza’s EPA-rated 40 mpg highway, 37 city and 39 combined.
On the ride handling side, the Venza is definitely tuned for comfort, gliding through rather than carving corners and absorbing the worst of asphalt imperfections without transmitting them into the cabin. Whether seated up front or out back there’s plenty of comfort to be had, plenty of headroom too, my only (minor) complaint being ventilated seats of the “Wait, are these actually on?” variety.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Clear skies above… if you push the right button.
Tim Stevens/Roadshow
The 2021 Toyota Venza starts at $32,470 plus $860 delivery, while the Limited version I tested raises the starting price to $39,800. Limited adds treats like an overhead, 360-degree camera, trim niceties like the interior illumination, heated and ventilated front seats and access to that Star Gaze roof — though that’s an additional $1,400.
The great news is that Toyota’s Safety Sense 2.0 ADAS system comes standard on the lowest trim, including lane-departure warnings, adaptive cruise and blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts. Given the powertrain also remains unchanged, it’s really just luxuries you’re paying a premium for, but given how pampered you feel in the Limited, it still seems like good value. That’s especially true if you compare it to something like the corporate-cousin Lexus NX Hybrid, which starts at $40,060 plus $1,025 delivery.
So, then, consider this rebirth a success. The 2021 Toyota Venza impresses on multiple levels. It looks good, drives well and does a remarkably good job of playing the luxury game. It’s a standout in an ever-expanding sea of me-too SUVs.

Phoenix, Toyota 2021 Hilux
Recently, Toyota released a new generation of Hilux. This car has experienced hellish abuse in the famous car evaluation top gear, but it still conquered everyone with Toyota's long-term perverted reliability. This time, Toyota has made major upgrades to many aspects of Hilux, including a new front face and engine.
The 2020 Toyota Hilux pickups are mainly divided into three configurations, manual gasoline and diesel, and automatic gasoline. Of course, there are two configurations of rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. Since Toyota Hilux was introduced into the country, there is almost no difference in tariffs between four-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive vehicles, and the price has not been expanded.
Tumblr media
Therefore, the current imported All of them are four-wheel drive with the highest configuration of Hilux. In terms of vehicle power, the biggest highlight of this new Toyota Hilux is that it uses the same 4.0-liter 6-cylinder gasoline engine as the Toyota Land Cruiser, compared to the previous 2.7-liter gasoline engine that was the same as the Toyota Prado. After the upgrade of the power system this time, not only the low-speed torque is more abundant, but also the off-road ability has also been qualitatively improved, giving people a feeling that the power is not lost to the JEEP Wrangler!
Most car owners or potential customers may not care too much about the appearance of pickup trucks, so let's take a look at the really important things. In 2021, Toyota introduced a new 2.8-liter turbo diesel four-cylinder engine to Hilux, which can provide 201 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque (higher than the latest 2.8-liter diesel engine’s 177 horsepower and 330 lb -foot). The new engine shows a return of 30 miles per gallon (about 7.8 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers), and can be paired with a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission. It is expected that different countries and regions will have 2.4-liter turbo diesel engines or 2.7-liter gasoline engines to choose from.
The biggest change is the interior. Different from previous vehicles, this car is more exquisite in the interior design. First of all, the center control screen of the entire car adopts a very layered design, which is similar to The design of the upper and lower dual screens is also very technological! The dashboard still has the original characteristics of Toyota. The whole car interior adopts black leather seats and black interior, which can even highlight the youthfulness!
Now, the touch screen size of Hilux is 8 inches, and it is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition to the larger screen, Toyota has also made Hilux's road performance more comfortable through a large number of suspension and steering adjustments, including re-adjusted shock absorbers, improved leaf spring design and new bushings. In terms of digitization, new electronic functions have been added to reproduce the effect of mechanical LSD on 2WD models. The latest stability control and new tire angle monitors will also be equipped.
As before, Toyota Hilux has won a huge reputation for its unparalleled reliability, while the car also upgraded its own front grille and skid plate, mudguards, door handles, wheels, black interior and keyless entry. And just like the word INVINCIBLE at the end, Toyota is also proud of this product.
For those who have never seen Hilux, its size is about the same as Tacoma, depending on the choice of cab. The two trucks share the aforementioned 160-horsepower 2.7-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine, but Tacoma has an additional 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine option. Nevertheless, if you want to carry and tow heavy objects, Hilux is better able to do the job. In its most ideal configuration, Tacoma can tow "only" 6,800 pounds and has a payload of 1,620 pounds. Hilux equipped with 4WD can tow 7,700 pounds or carry up to 2,200 pounds.

Đầy đủ tính năng an toàn

The 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser Is the Same Old SUV as Before
Before today, we weren’t exactly sure if the legendary Toyota Land Cruiser was going to make it to 2021. Well, at least in the United States. Thankfully, Toyota is announcing some good news for fans of this age-old rock crawler. The Toyota Land Cruiser will live on for at least one more model year, and the Heritage Edition isn’t going away, either.
The old-school body-on-frame SUV remains mostly unchanged, too. The only significant difference for 2021 is that the Heritage Edition now gets the option of a third row of seats and two new exterior colors: Classic Silver Metallic and Magnetic Gray Metallic join Midnight Black Metallic and Blizzard Pearl. All Heritage Edition cars come with a model-specific set of sweet-looking BBS-sourced 18-inch wheels.
The power plant for this mammoth SUV is the same 5.7-liter V-8 as before and it once again churns out 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque. Likewise, the Land Cruiser’s hydraulically controlled sway bars (known as Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System in Toyota-speak), hill-descent control, multi-terrain select, and the lockable Torsen center differential are still all here—without any changes—to take you wherever, whenever.
The Land Cruiser also comes with lane-departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights, and blind-spot monitoring (among a few other goodies). Unfortunately, the Land Cruiser still lacks Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, but it does sport a 14-speaker JBL sound system and a wireless charging pad for your smartphone.
Prices for the Land Cruiser and the Heritage Edition go up by $100 for 2021. The standard Land Cruiser now rings in at $86,84o, while the Heritage Edition wears an $89,170 price tag. Expect to pay a little more to add a third-row to the latter trim.

New Toyota SUV Heading to Europe
When it comes to cars, Toyota always makes sure to cover the bases to give drivers everywhere plenty of options when shopping for their next ride. In the North American market we have the luxury of driving everything from the Orlando Toyota Corolla to the larger than life Land Cruiser. But, what’s available at our dealership doesn’t even begin to encapsulate just how many different vehicle models Toyota has available globally. In fact, just recently we covered the release of a new Toyota SUV Harrier in Japan and today, Europe is getting a new one!
Follow along with us at Toyota of Orlando as we walk you through this new Toyota SUV available soon in the European market.
Tumblr media
Welcome the 2022 Toyota Yaris Cross
While we await the arrival of the mystery Toyota SUV in North America, we can at least be envious together over the new Toyota Yaris Cross coming soon to the European market. This new SUV was meant to be unveiled during the Geneva Motor Convention in early March but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, Toyota released information and images on its website for interested drivers to get their look at the new SUV before its eventual release. Here’s what we know so far about this new Orlando Toyota SUV:
- As its aptly named, the Toyota Yaris Cross will feature the same wheelbase as the Toyota Yaris, but have far more interior and exterior space at its disposal. It will also be a showcase of Toyota’s new TNGA driving platform.
- It will come in either a gasoline or hybrid engine option and FWD or AWD. Under the hood, this new Orlando Toyota SUV will house a 1.5L 3-cylinder engine and either a 6-speed manual or automatic CVT transmission.
- New angular and aggressive exterior design will be on full display in the vehicle’s exterior with new head and taillights.
- A new infotainment system with a touchscreen interface with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will also be included.
- The new Toyota SUV Yaris Cross will not be available at Toyota of Orlando, but will be available in Japan starting fall 2020 and in Europe in 2021.
While we anxiously await the next vehicle reveal for North America, you can still shop all the latest Toyotas here at Toyota of Orlando. We’re open seven days a week and located at 3575 Vineland Road!

2021 Lexus LX 570 review: An off-road champ, but tough to recommend
New Post has been published on https://appradab.com/2021-lexus-lx-570-review-an-off-road-champ-but-tough-to-recommend/
2021 Lexus LX 570 review: An off-road champ, but tough to recommend
Hope you like grille.
Emme Hall/Roadshow
The Lexus LX 570 is essentially a gussied-up Toyota Land Cruiser, so it has some great off-road chops. But while the Land Cruiser has this intrinsic cool factor — even more so with 2020’s Heritage Edition — the LX 570 just feels, well, old.
Like
Excellent off-road capability
High-quality interior
Lots of standard features
Don’t Like
Poor fuel economy
Horrible infotainment tech
The LX 570 competes in the crowded full-size SUV segment, and uses old-school, body-on-frame architecture with full-time all-wheel drive. Only one powertrain is available, consisting of a naturally aspirated, 5.7-liter V8 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Even with 383 horsepower and 403 pound-feet of torque on tap, the LX 570 isn’t exactly quick. This is a big, 6,100-pound SUV, and it takes 7.3 seconds to hit 60 mph. A full-size Mercedes-Benz GLS450, on the other hand, has less power and torque, but thanks to turbocharging and mild-hybrid technology, it can sprint to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds all while returning better fuel efficiency.
On that note, the EPA gives the 2021 LX 570 ratings of 12 miles per gallon city, 16 mpg highway and 14 mpg combined. The GLS450 returns 19 city, 23 highway and 21 combined, and even more powerful competitors like the Land Rover Range Rover and Lincoln Navigator do slightly better, both returning 16 city, 21 highway and 18 combined. During a week of testing, my LX 570 is only averaging 13.6 mpg.
The LX’s highway ride is mostly smooth but it’s easily upset by bumpy pavement. Perhaps the most disconcerting part of the driving experience is the steering, which feels heavy (yay!) but very numb (boo!). The lack of on-center steering feel means I’m constantly making small corrections just to stay in a straight line.
The LX is available with two or three rows of seats.
Emme Hall/Roadshow
I know owners aren’t going to run the Lexus LX 570 through the canyons like they would in a sports car, but the company provides its SUV Sport and Sport Plus modes to change up the throttle and transmission parameters. Even when dialed into Sport Plus, the steering is still vague and there is a ton of body motion. The good news is that the eight-speed transmission shifts nicely in the background, not drawing any attention to itself.
Thankfully, there are several standard driving aids, and the adaptive cruise control does a nice job of slowing the LX down once I hit traffic. Unfortunately, the low-speed modulation of the adaptive cruise control is awful. The LX slams on the brakes and stops abruptly, to the point where I’d rather just drive with this tech off.
All things considered, the LX 570 is far worse to drive on-road than pretty much any other full-size luxury SUV. But it at least can excel off the beaten path. I didn’t have a chance to off-road this tester, but I hit the dirt in an LX in 2016, and the 2021 model is essentially the same. A lockable center differential is standard as is a two-speed transfer case and five different terrain modes. The air suspension can give the Lexus over 11 inches of ground clearance and there is some nifty technology that applies the brake to an inside wheel when the trail gets tight. It’s far more capable in the rough stuff than anything from BMW or Mercedes-Benz. It’ll totally stand toe-to-toe with a Range Rover.
The interior is comfortable and the materials are great, but the infotainment tech is all kinds of awful.
Emme Hall/Roadshow
Inside, the LX can be had with two or three rows of seats, and there’s a maximum of 81.3 cubic feet of cargo space. While there is plenty of room in that third row, it isn’t the most comfortable. My rear is lower than my knees, making me feel like I’m sitting in a kindergarten chair, but the second row is supercomfy with available heated and cooled seats, separate climate controls and an available dual-screen DVD system. Unfortunately, there isn’t a Wi-Fi hotspot, so your kids can’t stream Netflix or Hulu or anything like that.
While the cabin is full of luxurious style and it’s pretty well insulated from road and engine noise, Lexus needs a full-blown overhaul of its infotainment system. The Enform technology is housed on a 12.3-inch screen, controlled by a persnickety joystick that’s difficult and distracting to use. The graphics are outdated, the interface isn’t easy to understand and the whole system is just harder than it needs to be. Case in point: When using the in-dash navigation system there is no mute button on the map. Instead I have to exit navigation, go to the general setup menu, find the voice settings and mute the directions from there. It’s just not well thought out. Normally I’d just say to use your phone for navigation, but neither Apple CarPlay or Android Auto is offered. Ugh. At least the LX gains Amazon Alexa integration for 2021.
Unfortunately, the LX is an SUV that’s tough to recommend.
Emme Hall/Roadshow
The LX 570 has two USB Type-A ports, a wireless charging pad and a 12-volt outlet up front, but second-row passengers only get one 12-volt plug and a 120-volt outlet. Want charging options in the third row? Too bad.
The 2021 Lexus LX 570 starts at $87,605 including a $1,025 destination charge, and my tester just crests the $100,000 mark. That means the LX is priced in line with other full-size luxury contenders, but nice as it is inside, the Lexus offers far less in the way of technology and performance. Honestly, if you’re married to this archaic type of SUV and value its off-road credibility, why not just save $5,000 and get a Toyota Land Cruiser? After all, it’s essentially the same thing.

Modularidade será foco do novo SUV híbrido
