Voiceplay Visuals: Aca Top 10 Hits Of 2019

A bit more of a random-sounding Top 10 for Voiceplay to do, but they did something similar 4 years prior with "Aca Top 10 Summer Hits of 2015" (or something like that - I never watched it). This video released right at the end of December 2019 (just a week after their Frozen 2 Medley, damn), and was arranged by Geoff! And all the other Aca Top 10s have been very comedic visually, so this one should be fun as well! (I have seen this a few times before, but it's not one I've watched a lot)

Top 10 TV Shows of 2021-2022

10. Motherland: Fort Salem

Not the best for a final season but appreciated what we got. Still loved the characters and loved seeing the new dynamics in the final season.

9. Harley Quinn

Loved seeing Harley and Ivy finally together

8. Moon Knight

Loved it but felt liked it should’ve been longer. Some stuff felt rushed and wish there was more time to expand and explore certain things.

7. Warrior Nun

Honestly can barely remember plot related things but enjoyed it. Need to re-watch. Loved the characters and how much they grew also loved the new additions. Hate that it was cancelled.

6. Ms. Marvel

Surprised how much I liked it. Thought it was one of the better-done Marvel Disney+ shows. It was fun and felt self-contained but also leading to something bigger. Can’t wait to see more of the character.

5. Andor

Had no expectations for this but my favorite new Star Wars show after Manalorian. Loved it and seeing more of Cassian. A few times felt a little slow but still enjoyed it.

4. NCIS Hawaii

Absolutely loved season 1. Might be my new favorite NCIS. Fell in love with it and the characters in episode 1. Also, the first time in an NCIS show where I actually shipped characters together. Look forward to watching every week.

3. Wednesday

Wasn’t sure if I was gonna watch cause know nothing about The Addams Family but a friend begged me to so did and loved it. Wednesday is my new obsession and one of my new favorite characters. It ended and I only wanted more. Only one complaint and that was the plot felt a little easily wrapped up. Loved the characters though. Hoping for a season 2.

2. Stranger Things

Loved it. Loved the storyline in Hawkins and the characters there. Honestly didn’t care about anything or anyone else. Biggest disappointment was didn’t get a big death like was rumored. Can’t wait for the final season.

1. Peacemaker

Honestly surprised by this one. Hated the character after The Suicide Squad but decided to give the show a shot. Loved it. Couldn’t wait for it every week.

Saw this post enter my activity again. Hm. While I won't discredit my opinion from a few years ago, I think now I would change AnoHana to Fruits Basket. I don't know why I didn't put it there before because I watched the first season as it aired. Or perhaps I simply held AnoHana higher lol. The rest I still consider peak.

Smash Mouth - All Star 1999

"All Star" is a song by the American rockband Smash Mouth, released as the first single from their second studio album, Astro Lounge (1999). It was one of the last tracks to be written for Astro Lounge, after the band's record label Interscope requested more songs that could be released as singles. In writing it, guitarist Greg Camp drew musical influence from contemporary music by artists like Sugar Ray and Third Eye Blind, and sought out to create an "anthem" for outcasts. In contrast to the more ska punk style of Smash Mouth's debut album Fush Yu Mang (1997), the song features a more radio-friendly style.

It received generally positive reviews from music critics, who praised its musical progression from Fush Yu Mang as well as its catchy tone. It was nominated for the Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals at the 42nd Annual Grammy Awards. Subsequent reviews from critics have regarded "All Star" favourably, with some ranking it as one of the best songs of 1999. The song's accompanying music video features characters from the 1999 superhero film Mystery Men, which itself prominently featured "All Star". The song became ubiquitous in popular culture following multiple appearances in films, most notably in DreamWorks Animation's 2001 film Shrek. It received renewed popularity in the 2010s as an internet meme and has ranked as one of the most-streamed rock songs from 2017 to 2021 in the US.
