I've made a list under the cut of organisations that provide aid or support for young refugees and children affected by conflict to donate to if you can!

The forgotten child is about the consequences of war and conflict. It's the final track on the 2019 EP 'Agenda', following three satirical songs about the modern political, social, and economic climate - it comes as a sobering reminder of the great impact these issues have on the youth of society.

The song tells a story of a young girl – a refugee as she crosses borders to escape a war – who is, physically and metaphorically, lost.

The child represents both the individual child suffering from conflict, one of the 47.2 million refugees who are children, and also the younger generation and future generations as a whole.

While those in power often try to justify their actions in the name of posterity and use children as 'icons of their nation', they are among the first to be forgotten and disregarded.

Safe Passage: funds legal teams in the UK, France, and Greece that help young refugees safely reunite with their families and rebuild their lives

Save the Children UK - Protecting Children in Conflict: providing humanitarian aid for children in places of conflict and crisis, including gaza, lebanon, syria, and ukraine: donate to their emergency fund

Save the Children US: helping migrant children at the US southern border: border crisis relief fund

Kids In Need of Defense: provide free legal advice and representation to undocumented children, young people and families in the UK, europe, mexico, and the USA

this might be a tad similar to a concept i already sent (did i send it or did i just think really hard about it but never say it to you? i’ll find out eventually) but. the pretty privilege thing is rotating in my brain.

because richie gets annoyed by stan not realizing how gorgeous he is. and not even in the normal boyfriend way of ‘how do you not see how beautiful you are? why are you so insecure when you’re the prettiest thing i’ve ever seen” but just because it means stan doesn’t get how attractive he is to everybody around him. they’ll be at a bar and richie will go to the bathroom or to get them another round and he’ll be gone for literally just a second but when he gets back, stan has already got like three guys flirting with him. and stan refuses to admit it was flirting because why would they be flirting with *him*?

YES. like stan knows when someone is hitting on him, because he's smart, sure, but he seriously doesn't understand someone is flirting when they just come up for his looks and try to get to know him, because like. why would they. they are actually attractive people in the bar, there's no way they would flirt with him when others were scattered around the room, so he takes it as drunk chitchat.

richie is fucking pissed because how can someone be so smart yet so dumb, so observant and so fucking blind. he trusts stan but him not understanding when someone is attracted to his looks and tries to get in his pants makes richie go insane. he never leaves stan's side when they go out because of that, because the moment he does, that guy has both guys and girls flirting with him and it's actually hard to keep up.

imagining bill going "i volunteer as tribute!" just to kiss mike should not be as cute as it is, imagine if that was like post-chapter 2 and the losers were having a hunger games movie marathon since mike also missed on those movies because he was too busy researching

Lol Mike is watching those movies and that scene comes on and he's like?? Is that why you said that way back in the day?? Sure Mike thought it was weird but Bill says a lot of weird things and he was about to be kissed for the first time so he wasn't really thinking about it. Bill never lives it down.

Also side note, Bill is a total fucking nerd and was way to into the Hunger Games. Team Peeta of course and the Losers (Stan and Richie) would say they were team Gale just to send Bill into a fit.
