You log on much later in the afternoon of 02/08/2023 at 4:34pm. You do not scroll through your dash, do not refresh your activity feed. All you do is open a new text post, type and delete text, type and delete text again, type a "." into the text box and then type and delete more text into the tags. You eventually delete the post entirely and are gone once again. You do this often, I notice. It's less often, though, that you actually ever go through with posting them. Not like how you used to do all the time back in 2017. You were a lot sadder then. A lot angrier. A little less willed and a little less wise too. You gave me a lot more pieces of yourself those days, practically doubling me in size. Those pieces were so weathered and worn, gone far too long without maintenance. Do you not stop by as often and say as many sad things anymore because you've found greater purpose elsewhere? Have the wounds left by the parts you've ripped away begun to heal? Not a scarless recovery and not acheless without relapse, but some kind of mend nonetheless? I hope so. I hope your heart does not still carry every burden you shared years ago. I love you.
