 I love this illustrated version of New Zealands issue with large vehicles. Its true that vehicles in North America and elsewhere have become larger and heavier. This makes them more dangerous to anyone outside the vehicle. The ugly truth is that vehicles today still carry the same amount of crap that they did 10 years ago. So why the increase in size? One word- Profit.  

Many of these vehicles dont fit on the lanes of our roads, nor in parking spaces, and making lanes or parking spaces bigger isnt the solution. The time has come for governments to regulate the size of vehicles and divide them into classes based on use.

 If you dont own or operate a company that requires you to have a vehicle like this and if you dont have a class 1 license, you shouldn't even be permitted to purchase or rent one.
