HBD to one of the greatest albums that @taylorswift has ever written and one she owns 100% all herself. 💜 This album originally came out at a time where I had 1 friend at school who I hardly got to see, had nobody to sit by at lunch because my old friends decided I wasn’t cool anymore, and I was learning to navigate how to be 14 in a world of mean teenagers. I remember playing this album on repeat every single day after I’d come home from school and cry to my mom because nobody at school wanted to hang out with me anymore. I learned what it was like to truly be on “the outside” at 14 and had to turn myself to Taylor’s music to feel heard, seen and loved because my own friends weren’t there for me anymore. I learned to be tougher and to hold onto people who are in it for the long haul. I learned the healing power music holds as I would play that CD over and over again and truly connect with the words that Taylor wrote about. Taylor’s music saved me and has continued to be there for me through every up and down in the 14 years since I first truly turned to her music because I was sad and alone. 17 years of being a fan of her music, and I’ll never stop being one. Thank you for the memories that this album holds and for the difficult times it got me through. 🫶🏻 I’m a stronger person because of everything I went through. 🥲 @taylorswift @taylornation
