"After the Second World War, Cleven stayed in the US Air Force serving in Korea, Vietnam and with a spell at the Pentagon. He retired in 1964 with the rank of Colonel. While in the service Cleven had earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a doctorate in physics and following retirement initially worked in IT for Hughes Aircraft. Later he took over the management of Webber College in Florida which at the time had only fifty students and a poor reputation. He was able to turn it around and it later became a university specializing in business studies. " - Gale Winston Cleven | American Air Museum IM SORRY A FUCKING DOCTORATE IN PHYSICS???? COLONEL. DR. Headed Straight to the Worst Part of Hell! Criminal Boak Bollocks Henry Kissinger, Secretary of State to Richard Nixon, Dead at 100. Stay, Rest, Rot and Burn 🔥 in Hell Forever.
A Republican party giant and Nobel peace prize winner, the former national security adviser was a key architect of US foreign policy

The War Criminal Henry Kissinger, who was national security adviser and secretary of state to Richard Nixon before becoming an eminence grise of world affairs, has died. He was 100.
His consulting firm Kissinger Associates announced his passing in a statement on Wednesday evening, but did not disclose a cause of death.
A giant of the Republican party, Kissinger remained influential until the end of his life, in large part thanks to his founding in 1982 of Kissinger Associates, a geopolitical consulting firm based in New York City, and the authorship of several books on international affairs.
He even made an appearance in Siege, Michael Wolff’s Trump exposé which was published in 2019. According to Wolff, Kissinger regularly advised Jared Kushner. At one point, the book said, Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior White House adviser even suggested that Kissinger, well into his 90s, should return as secretary of state.
Wolff also quoted Kissinger as being witheringly critical of a Trump foreign policy “based on a single unstable individual’s reaction to perceptions of slights or flattery”.
Kissinger was a Harvard academic before becoming national security adviser when Nixon won the White House in 1968. Working closely with the president, he was influential in momentous decisions regarding the Vietnam war including the secret bombing of Cambodia in 1969 and 1970. That was part of what Nixon called the “madman theory”, an attempt to make North Vietnam believe the US president would do absolutely anything to end the war.
As secretary of state, Kissinger did achieve peace in Vietnam, although not before initiating a heavy bombing campaign at Christmas 1972, while talks continued.
He survived Nixon’s downfall in the Watergate scandal and served Gerald Ford, leaving government after Jimmy Carter’s election win in 1976. Kissinger’s policy towards the Soviet Union was not confrontational enough for the Reagan administration, precluding any thought of a 1980s comeback.
Famously, the Singer-satirist Tom Lehrer Responded: “Political Satire Became Obsolete When Criminal Henry Kissinger Was Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.”
On the political and intellectual right and left, Kissinger’s legacy differs.
On the right, he is seen as a brilliant statesman, a master diplomat, an exponent of power politics deployed to the benefit of America, the country to which his family fled on leaving Germany in 1938.
On the left, hostility burns over his record on Chile, where the CIA instigated the overthrow of Salvatore Allende; on Pakistan, where he and Nixon turned a blind eye to the slaughter of hundreds of thousands; on the Middle East; on Cyprus; on East Timor and more.
In the early 2000s, Kissinger supported the administration of George W Bush in its invasion of Iraq.
Another supporter of that war, the Journalist Christopher Hitchens, famously wrote that Kissinger should be tried for war crimes.
In fact, for negotiating the Paris treaty which ended the Vietnam war, Kissinger and Le Duc Tho were awarded a shared Nobel prize, although the North Vietnamese negotiator refused to accept the honour.
Famously, the Singer-satirist Tom Lehrer responded: “Political Satire Became Obsolete When Henry Kissinger Was Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.”

THE CHRONICLES OF AMBER & History Lessons
It should be obvious that writers, composers, painters and all artists respond to the time in which they live, and that this is reflected in their art.  And it should also come as no surprise that some material is more strongly influenced by the historical moment than other art.  All this is at least as true for Roger Zelazny and his idolized Chronicles of Amber — perhaps somewhat more so, given that these five books in no small way chart a complete decade.
NINE PRINCES IN AMBER (1970)
History:  Pieces of the first book saw print as early as 1967.  It appears Zelazny worked on the book here and there for three years or more until its publication in 1970.  Still looming over the political landscape of the time was the assassination of John F. Kennedy years earlier, which had led to the Johnson “great society” era and from there to Nixon’s struggles with China, the Soviet Union and the Vietnam War.  Just as influential was the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr., as well as that of Robert Kennedy.  The 1960s were dominated by these issues, the Cold War and threat of nuclear annihilation, the rise of the counter-culture and protest movements, the Beatles and Woodstock, and the first landing of men on the Moon.
As someone familiar with Jungian psychology and Frazer’s Golden Bough, Zelazny saw a way to harness the interregnum turmoil of the Sixties while incorporating the ritual of “the Killing of the King.”  (Conspiriologists left and right — politically, and otherwise — have long adhered to the notion that it was not a coincidence that this particular killing of the king had been carried out in accordance with ancient ritual.)  The King of Amber is missing or deceased. Factions have quickly aligned to jockey for the best position to take advantage of the power vacuum.  That a conspiracy to remove both the king and Corwin is uncovered, a few books later, also mirrors the deaths of the Kennedys.  Our hero, already in a state of confusion over his own identity and situation, is thrust into the midst of this power-struggle and — like Armstrong and Aldrin aboard the Eagle — soon finds himself visiting another world.
Lesson:  Corwin charges in somewhat blindly, and is literally blinded (and imprisoned) as a result.  When he miraculously regains both his sight and his freedom, he vows that patience and planning will guide him going forward and that, this time, he will prevail and take his rightful place in Amber.  He also learns that what drives you, what you want, has a lot to say about who you are.
Journey:  He starts out being held against his will in a hospital, recovering from broken legs and near-drowning from a car accident.  By the end of the book, he is recuperating from years of blindness and imprisonment under much better circumstances in a remote lighthouse while cared for by an old friend.  When he leaves the lighthouse, no one tries to thwart his departure (he is voluntarily assisted, in point of fact), he knows exactly who he is and what he wants, and has a clear idea of his objective and how to achieve it.

THE GUNS OF AVALON (1972)
History:  Two years pass, eventful ones.  No shortage of natural disasters — major cholera epidemics in Istanbul and Slovakia; avalanches in France and Peru; earthquakes in Tonghai, Gediz, Burdur, Bingöl, Peru and elsewhere destroy cities and kill thousands; Mount Etna erupts; Montreal is buried by the blizzard dubbed La Tempête du Siècle; the Odisha cyclone overtakes the Bay of Bengal and claims 10,000 lives; 50 tornadoes tear through Louisiana and Mississippi; floods put Bangladesh and eastern Bengal underwater; the Bhola cyclone wipes out half a million people.  But the real disasters turn out to be man-made, so much so that this period could easily be described by the phrase “state of emergency.”  The Apollo 13 mission fails, though the astronauts survive and the summer of 1971 sees a rover rolling across the surface of the Moon.  Oil-price instability and Nixon taking the dollar off the gold standard together signal economic and energy crises yet-to-come, but the real instability is social, political and military.  Coups and assassinations become commonplace as former colonial possessions are granted independence.
Keyword:  Napalm.  Bombs, terrorism, murder and violence, state-sanctioned and otherwise, plague the United Kingdom due to resistance to British rule in Northern Ireland.  American incursions into Laos and Cambodia fuel growing anti-war sentiment.  The publication of the Pentagon Papers and the COINTELPRO documents stolen from FBI offices in Pennsylvania, news images of the Kent State shootings, and revelations of the My Lai Massacre throw gasoline onto the fire:  150,000 protest the Vietnam War in San Francisco on the same day that half a million march on Washington, D.C.  60% of Americans oppose American troops in Southeast Asia.  Meanwhile, the ashes of Hitler, Eva Braun, and the Goebbels family are scattered in East Germany’s Biederitz River.  Echoing all this, Zelazny pulls from the Grail quest an idea which unites the chaos reflected in the natural and human worlds in a single image — the Wasteland — and gives it the form of the Black Road, which Corwin discovers runs all the way to the outskirts of his beloved Amber.
Lesson:  Corwin struggles with his commitment to his system of values as demonic beings and foreign-imposed dictatorship threaten the shadow world Lorraine and Amber herself.  With some reluctance, he risks his own neck for a place lost to him long ago, and abandons his scheme to turn his troops and guns against Amber when the kingdom seems on the brink of falling to an enemy coming in strength.  He understands the necessity to adapt to changing conditions and to remain flexible while pursuing his goals.
Journey:  Corwin intends to sail straight to Avalon but gets lost in his very own Wood of Error, so that a spontaneous choice leads him instead into the hell of Lorraine, its Goat, and the citadel at the heart of the Black Circle.  Toward the end of the book he is again diverted from his course in that his original mission, to exact vengeance on his brother Eric and seize the throne, is set aside when he comes upon the creatures of the Black Road at Amber’s gates.  Just as he set out seeking gunpowder in Avalon but found something else along the way — the knight errant he once was long ago — he marches to Amber to find that the regicide he believed he desired was not what he would ultimately want or choose to do.

Vietnam and the 1970s
The tide had definitely turned against U.S. participation in the Vietnam War by the first years of the decade.  Nixon, having seen Johnson’s presidency founder and meet an early end due to the war, initiated a draw-down of forces.  Australia and New Zealand pulled out of the war in 1971.  By the end of that same year, American ground forces had been withdrawn from the war effort, though involvement would drag on a few more years.
Britain, though victorious after World War I, had been left depleted and weary of war — brutal trench warfare had cost the nation more than a million lives.  The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution of 1964 more or less marked the beginning of the Vietnam War in the minds of Americans, when U.S. troop strength went from 23,000 to 184,000.  It had therefore gone on longer than World War I and wound up costing approximately 60,000 American lives.  In America a fatigue had taken hold which was not so different from what post-Great War Britain had known.
Zelazny may have been responding to the mood of the times when portraying the enormity and senselessness of the losses witnessed, and caused, by Corwin and other princes of Amber.
From the first book:
“…ten thousand men dead in a plains battle with centaurs, five thousand lost in an earthquake of frightening proportions, fifteen hundred dead of a whirlwind plague that swept the camps, nineteen thousand dead or missing in action as they passed through the jungles of a place I didn’t recognize, when the napalm fell upon them from the strange buzzing things that passed overhead, six thousand deserting in a place that looked like the heaven they had been promised, five hundred unaccounted for as they crossed a sand flat where a mushroom cloud burned and towered beside them, eighty-six hundred gone as they moved through a valley of suddenly militant machines that rolled forward on treads and fired fires, eight hundred sick and abandoned, two hundred dead from flash floods, fifty-four dying of duels among themselves, three hundred dead from eating poisonous native fruits, a thousand slain in a massive stampede of buffalo-like creatures, seventy-three gone when their tents caught fire, fifteen hundred carried away by the floods, two thousand slain by the winds that came down from the blue hills.”
What tends to jump out from that passage (especially to readers harkening back to the ’70s):
(1)    napalm dropped from aircraft on troops moving through jungles below results in a number of casualties far higher than deaths from any other cause;
(2)    immediately after thousands depart for paradise, their desertion is contrasted with the hell of the detonation of a nuclear weapon;
(3)    aside from deaths due to centaurs, war machines, nuclear warfare and napalm, natural disasters are responsible for the mass losses of life, yet the total taken by disaster is still dwarfed by the number slain in combat.
There is not much other commentary on war in the series.  The subject of warfare is largely confined to the first two books.  But there is this from the end of the sixth chapter of Nine Princes in Amber:
“As I stood on a hilltop and the evening began around me, it seemed as if I looked out over every camp I had ever stood within, stretching on and on over the miles and the centuries without end.  I suddenly felt tears come into my eyes, for the men who are not like the lords of Amber, living but a brief span and passing into dust, that so many of them must meet their ends upon the battlefields of the world.”

Family Circle: The Boudins and the Aristocracy of the Left
The Weather Underground were never actually underground. Despite bombing the US capitol in 1971 and the Pentagon in 1972, the Weathermen continued to ride the subway in Manhattan and live in group houses in northern California, often supplied by wealthy supporters sharing their vacation homes. When the townhouse in Greenwich Village blew up in 1971, from a bomb that was intended for Fort Dix, Kathy Boudin walked a few blocks to her parents home in Manhattan and stayed there with Kathy Wilkerson for the next few days. The FBI knocked on the door but were shooed away by Boutin’s mother. The next day, Boudin saw her own face on the cover of the newspaper as she rode the subway. But in 1981, when Boudin and the Black Liberation Army killed two police officers and a Brinks security guard on Long Island, Boudin was picked up within hours.
The FBI’s lax attitude is probably not hard to explain. Apart from the townhouse bombing, the Weathermen bombs went off harmlessly in the middle of the night when nobody was around. Usually there was ample warning from the group’s “communiques.” Dohrn and Ayers were never prosecuted, allegedly because of tainted evidence. I saw Dohrn give a talk before and after a screening of Days of Rage, a Weathermen documentary, and Dohrn clearly saw the whole thing as a wildly entertaining lark. As long as nobody was killed, it was all fun and games.
But Kathy Boudin was much more literal minded than her fellow Weathermen. To her, the revolution really was imminent. She was brought up around revolutionaries like Izzy Stone, a relative, and attended a grammar school so radical that even some communists refused to send their kids. Her parents were so proud of her revolutionary activity that they placed her motorcycle helmet, worn during the “Days of Rage” riot in Chicago, over the fireplace in their living room. Revolution wasn’t adolescent rebellion, it was what she was raised to do.
But then Kathy Boudin took it too far. It’s not quite clear why she crossed the line into robbing banks and killing cops, but there is an unreality that carries through the entire book. Her mother answers calls from bill collectors with “I’ll pay you after the revolution.” Her father, a semi-famous civil rights attorney and Harvard law professor, seduces Bernadine Dohrn in his sixties while wearing a pacemaker. Kathy and a friend skin an alley cat and eat it. Group sex is enforced among the Weathermen as a means to destroy the bourgeois ego (and so Bill Ayers could get laid). Kathy wears disguises and communicates via payphone even as she lives within blocks of her parents. Her mother runs into a Weatherman, Teddy Gold, at a bookstore and asks if Kathy will be attending law school in the fall; within the hour, Gold is incinerated in the townhouse blast.
Sailer’s theory is that Jewish families encourage anti-gentilism to deflect anger from the father to the wider society. As applied to the Boudin family, Sailer’s story checks out. Kathy has more than enough reason to be angry at her philandering father, who for decades humiliated her loyal mother, and yet Kathy always deflects, never directly channeling her anger at her own family. Throughout it all, her family is behind her, never cutting off support, always proud of their young revolutionary, the motorcycle helmet over the fireplace.

A HISTORY LESSON WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET!!!
Here are some REAL facts - backed up by historical data, not conspiracies or conjecture. Remember, ALL Muslims believe in jihad (religious war) to be fought until everyone in the world is converted to Islam. They will be your friends, according to the Quran teachings, until there comes the right time to "convert" you.
Facts are Facts So if you are offended - blame History!
The War started in the 7th Century and lasted through the 17th Century. Many will contend it never stopped; the Facts below are Historically correct. That is why many of us choke when we hear someone say we will defeat or contain these Islamic Terrorists in a few years, or even "30 Years" as has been stated by Leon Panetta. If the latest batch of Murders, Beheadings, and Killing of Innocent Christians has at all shocked you, it is time for you to read this Compilation of Historical Facts about the Intense Hatred that Muslims have for ANY and ALL who are “NOT” Muslims! WE ARE THE STUPID In 732 A.D., the Muslim Army, which was moving on Paris, was defeated and turned back at Tours, France, by Charles Martell. In 1571 A.D, the Muslim Army/Navy was defeated by the Italians and Austrians as they tried to cross the Mediterranean to Attack Southern Europe in the Battle of Lepanto In 1683 A.D, the Turkish Muslim Army, attacking Eastern Europe, was finally defeated in the Battle of Vienna by German and Polish Christian Armies. This Nonsense has been going on for 1,400 years! The SAD thing is that more than half of all Politicians do not even know any of this. If these battles had not been won, we would most likely be speaking Arabic. And Christianity could be Non-existent. Judaism certainly would NOT exist! Reality check: A lot of Americans have become so Insulated from Reality that they Imagine America can Suffer defeat without any inconvenience to themselves. Think back: The following events are true historical facts. It has been many years since 1968, but History keeps repeating itself. 1. In 1968, Robert Kennedy was Shot and Killed by a Muslim Male. 2. In 1972, at the Munich Olympics, Israeli Athletes were Kidnapped and Massacred by Muslim Males. 3. In 1972, a Pan Am 747 was Hijacked and eventually Diverted to Cairo where a fuse was lit on Final Approach. Shortly after Landing, it was Blown up by Muslim Males. 4. In 1973, a Pan Am 707 was Destroyed in Rome With 33 People Killed, when it was Attacked with Grenades by Muslim Males. 5. In 1979, the United States Embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim Males. 6. During the 1980s, several Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon by Muslim Males. 7. In 1983, the United States Marine Barracks in Beirut was Blown up by Muslim Males. 8. In 1985, the Cruise Ship Achille-Lauro was Hijacked, and a 70-year-old American Passenger was Murdered and thrown Overboard in his Wheelchair by Muslim Males. 9. In 1985, TWA Flight 847 was Hijacked in Athens, and a United States Navy Diver, who was trying to rescue passengers – was murdered by Muslim Males. 10. In 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by Muslim Males. 11. In 1993, the World Trade Center was Bombed for the First Time by Muslim Males. 12. In 1998, the United States Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were Bombed by Muslim Males. 13. On 09/11/01, FOUR Airliners were Hijacked. Two of the Planes were used as Missiles to take down the World Trade Centers... One-Plane Crashed into the United States Pentagon, and the other Plane was Diverted and Crashed by the Passengers. Thousands of People were Killed by Muslim Males. 14. In 2002, the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against Muslim Males. 15. In 2002, reporter Daniel Pearl was Kidnapped and Beheaded by you guessed it - a Muslim Male. (Plus two other American Journalists who had just recently been Beheaded.) 16. In 2013, the Boston Marathon Bombing resulted in Four Innocent People, including a Child, being Killed and 264 other People injured by Muslim Males.
NO, I really do not see a pattern here to Justify Profiling. Do YOU? So, to ensure we Americans never Offend Anyone - particularly Fanatics intent on Killing US - Airport Security Screeners will NO longer be allowed to Profile certain People. So, ask yourself: "Just how stupid are we?!?!" Have Americans completely lost their minds or just their "Power of Reason?" As the writer of the Award-Winning story "Forrest Gump" so aptly put it, "Stupid is as Stupid does." You now have the opportunity to send this on to other Email Contacts. Please do that! Or you can just sit back, keep complaining, and do nothing. As Barack Obama said in his book: "Nothing sounds as Beautiful as the Muslim Evening Prayers from the Tower."

Dr. "Huey" Emmerich was a mechanical engineer responsible for developing bipedal locomotion technology for the Peace Walker Project in 1974 and later served as the chief engineer of Metal Gear Sahelanthropus in 1984. He was the biological father of Hal "Otacon" Emmerich and the stepfather of Emma "E.E." Emmerich.
Biography
Early life and career
Emmerich was born on August 6, 1945, the day of the Hiroshima bombing, as the son of a scientist that worked on the Manhattan Project. He was born a paraplegic, unable to walk because his spine was abnormally shaped, and thus confined to a wheelchair. Although he used to respect his father because his research had saved American lives, his respect decreased significantly during the fifth grade when a Japanese transfer student showed him photos of what happened in Hiroshima after the bomb hit.
After skipping a few grades, Emmerich joined NASA after graduating from MIT and worked alongside Strangelove. While working with Strangelove, Emmerich was given the nickname "Huey." He was once considered to be part of a project involving space rockets, but he was eventually relocated after it was cancelled due to détente.
Bipedal weapon development
Emmerich met and became colleagues with Soviet scientist Aleksandr Leonovitch Granin, supporting Granin's bipedal tank theory by writing a paper that was criticized. In September 1964, Granin intended to send designs for such a weapon to Emmerich in the United States, after funding for its development was cut.
A photograph of Granin (left) and Emmerich (right), displayed in the former's office. At some point after 1972, Huey was hired by CIA Station Chief Hot Coldman to build the "Perfect Deterrent" for the Peace Walker Project, after supplying him with Granin's blueprints that Coldman had earlier procured via CIA contacts,[2] as well as later blackmailing him with the theft to keep him in line.[3] He was willingly working for Coldman, having been convinced that the "Perfect Deterrent" was to be used solely as a deterrent, never to be launched even once. Huey was also responsible for developing three prototype AI weapons.
Peace Walker Incident Main article: Peace Walker Incident
In 1974, Huey and Strangelove built several AI prototypes for the Peace Walker Project: Pupa, Chrysalis, Cocoon and Peace Walker.
However, Huey learned of Hot Coldman's true intentions to launch a live nuke from the weapon, in order to prove its power as a deterrent. He then got into an argument with Coldman, and refused to cooperate any longer. As a consequence, Coldman hurled him down a stairway, wheelchair and all. Big Boss (Naked Snake) attempted to help Huey back into his wheelchair as he tried to warn the former about Coldman's plans to launch a nuke. Huey would later aid Big Boss in Pupa's destruction when it was deployed to take Snake out.
Huey, circa 1974.After Big Boss destroyed the Pupa, Huey encountered the mercenary claiming to be an entomologist searching for butterflies for the Washington Treaty. Huey explained to Snake the nature of the Peace Walker project, and suggested a way to stop Peace Walker itself: by sabotaging the AI designed to operate the weapon, located within Dr. Strangelove's laboratory. Huey gave Snake his ID card to gain access to the lab, as well as a love letter addressed to Strangelove to deliver (although he allowed Snake to believe that it was a recommendation letter). Huey then decided that he might quit working in the field of science due to his role in nearly causing a disaster. However, Snake suggested that he instead join their "Outer Heaven" as Huey would fit into the group.
Afterwards, Huey was placed into the Militaires Sans Frontières' R&D division, where he provided further information on the AI weapons, as well as overseeing the development of the bipedal tank Metal Gear ZEKE, under his suggestion.[4][5] Upon being placed in the R&D Team, he then briefed Snake on the method to creating ZEKE, requiring salvaged parts from the AI weapons due to MSF not being able to afford creating ZEKE from scratch.[6] Huey was dismayed to learn that Strangelove had revoked his security clearance for Strangelove's AI lab, believing this had done so out of dislike towards him, forcing Snake to locate an alternate ID card.[7]
After Snake failed to sabotage the AI at Strangelove's lab, Huey gave MSF intel in regards to the location of Peace Walker's final testing base: an underground base disguised as a mine. He later supplied some info about the final test at a U.S. missile base in Nicaragua: namely that it needed some more modifications before it was launch capable, and that the launch date was deliberately chosen on the day of the SALT II talks in Vladivostok. He later operated the entire Mother Base as its skeleton crew while the majority of the MSF headed towards Nicaragua to put a stop to Coldman's plans. He later helped Snake achieve contact with the Pentagon, after Coldman activated Peace Walker and nearly caused an all-out nuclear war.
Huey held romantic feelings for Dr. Strangelove.Afterwards, Huey participated as a referee in a soccer match between Nicaragua and Costa Rica, and at one time even tried to stop a fight from breaking out, as they were not supposed to be enemies, quoting Big Boss during this point. During development, he constantly pestered Strangelove, resulting in her complaining constantly. After ZEKE was completed, he explained to Big Boss of it being utilized for outside operations from Costa Rica/Nicaragua, and also cited it as a work in progress.[8]
Shortly thereafter, under the suggestion of Kazuhira Miller, it was armed with a nuclear warhead recovered from the remains of Peace Walker under Lake Nicaragua's waters. When Big Boss asked Huey why he decided to arm ZEKE with nuclear weapons, citing its similarity to Peace Walker, which he despised, he claimed that it was because the two were actually different with intentions: the CIA won people over with charm, and turned their backs on them when things got hairy, whereas Big Boss was honest about his intentions, so he trusted Big Boss with the decision.
When Paz Ortega Andrade hijacked and used ZEKE against Big Boss, as well as the agent of Cipher threatening of nuking the East Coast and frame MSF with the deed should they not rejoin Cipher, Huey was horrified that his creation was once again being used in the exact way he didn't want it to be used for.[9] After ZEKE was damaged due to Paz hijacking it, he suggested to Snake that he should have a mock battle against ZEKE so that the next time something similar happened, Big Boss would be prepared before leaving for Mother Base's AI lab in order to check the progress of ZEKE's repairs.[10]
He later approached Strangelove regarding their relationship, and though he was still hesitant to discuss his feelings for his colleague, the two came to an understanding when Strangelove implied that he should "come walk with [her]" when he had gained enough confidence.
Post-Peace Walker
A few weeks later, Huey was one of the minority in favor of an inspection of Mother Base by the UN. He even sent a letter indicating that MSF had changed their minds regarding their earlier refusal, as well as getting at least two major western networks to do stories on them, with the intention of "proving" that MSF didn't have a nuke. Big Boss and Kazuhira Miller, however, were irritated by Huey's actions but their hands were tied and preparations for an inspection were made. Despite Huey's crush on Strangelove, he let go of the fact that his love interest left Mother Base due to the AI department not giving results as well as ZEKE being completed anyways, deciding that he had "bigger issues to worry about." As such, because of his involvement in the UN inspection, Huey was the only civilian to remain on Mother Base, with the other civilians having been evacuated earlier. Huey handled the preparations for the UN inspection while Big Boss went to rescue Chico and Paz in Cuba.[11]
Leaving the MSF soldiers disarmed for the inspection, Huey was relegated to the control tower of Mother Base's Command Center, and met the inspection crew personally. He reported that everything was going smoothly while Big Boss was returning to base. However, the inspection proved to be a Trojan horse for Cipher's elite strike force XOF, who succeeded in destroying Mother Base. Huey's body was never recovered from the ruins, causing Miller to believe that Huey had fled after the attack started and suspect him of treachery.
Over the next decade, Huey remained underground, strengthening Miller's suspicions of Huey's involvement in the Mother Base attack. He was eventually made chief engineer for the new Metal Gear that was being developed in an XOF research facility in Afghanistan, under their leader Skull Face. Huey primarily worked in his lab located in the Soviet Central Base Camp on behalf of the Soviets, who agreed to keep Huey protected as part of the agreement for the new Metal Gear. Here Huey was constantly under guard and was not allowed to leave under any circumstances unless to work on the new Metal Gear at the XOF facility.
Huey was eventually reunited with Strangelove and they became romantically involved. During their time together, Strangelove was allowed to keep the Mammal Pod inside Huey's lab, although at some point Skull Face ordered Huey to reprogram and modify the pod against Strangelove's objections. In 1980, they had a child together, whom they named Hal.[12] Huey was also allowed to develop an exoskeleton for his legs that would allow him to walk, abandoning the use of his old wheelchair. He also designed a smaller variant of Metal Gear which he named Walker Gear, a fully customizable war machine that could be used for both assault and stealth missions. Impressed by Huey's creation, Skull Face had Huey's prototype mass produced and sold several Walker Gears to the Soviet Army and several PMC's that were operating in Central Africa.
Phantom Pain Incident See also: Hospital Escape and Phantom Pain Incident
Skull Face confronting Huey.By 1984, Huey had nearly completed XOF's Metal Gear Sahelanthropus, which was thought to have been developed for the Soviet Union as they had financially backed Sahelanthropus' development. In reality, it was to be used by Skull Face for an ethnic cleansing campaign on the English language. During the development of Sahelanthropus, Huey also attempted to use his own son as a test subject, as Sahelanthropus could only allow for a child to pilot. However, Strangelove was outraged with his choice, resulting in a huge falling out. To prevent Huey from using Hal for any future tests, Strangelove sent Hal to America. In retaliation, Huey sealed Strangelove inside the Mammal Pod and let her suffocate.[12]
By the time Venom Snake awoke from a coma, Huey was in Afghanistan. In addition, Miller, largely because of what happened to MSF and Huey's direct role in it, harbored a huge grudge against him, which he made very vocal. Furthermore, various Diamond Dogs members who survived the events of MSF's destruction referred to Huey by the more impersonal "Dr. Emmerich" or simply "Emmerich", rather than his nickname of "Huey."
They eventually learned that Huey planned to defect from XOF to Diamond Dogs and decided to "ensure" he defected, wanting to exact revenge on him for his role in MSF's destruction earlier. Skull Face later learned of Huey's intended defection and personally threw him down the stairs and threatened him before detaining him at the Afghanistan Central Base Camp. Skull Face anticipated that Venom Snake would attempt rescuing him and only kept Huey alive to draw Snake out. Huey then noticed Venom Snake, and pondered whether he was really Big Boss. Venom Snake then put a hood on him, only briefly removing the hood to allow him to activate a special Walker Gear prototype so he could use it to escape. While Ocelot agreed that he should use Huey's prototype as a means of escape, Miller angrily objected stating that Snake didn't need Huey's toy. In any case, Snake made his way through the Soviet Base Camp and managed to make is way out. However, Skull Face unveiled that Sahelanthropus was active despite Huey insisting that it wasn't complete yet.
Huey, interrogated by Ocelot. After arriving back at Mother Base, a hooded Huey was later interrogated for six hours by Diamond Dogs' interrogation specialist Ocelot, who threw water over him, as well as injected him with truth serum. This was overseen by Miller and Venom Snake, presumably for his suspected role in XOF's attack on Mother Base nine years earlier. Wanting to know why Huey was associated with XOF, the scientist claimed that Skull Face had abducted him during the assault on Mother Base and brought him all the way to Afghanistan to design and build a Metal Gear for the XOF, claiming that he was being held in their facility against his will for the past nine years. Ocelot and Miller later interrogate Huey about Metal Gear Sahelanthropus, giving them detailed information about its armor and weapons systems, but was unable to explain its sudden activation during their escape from Afghanistan, explaining that he wasn't given time to develop an AI operating system to get Sahelanthropus fully functional.
Miller, who wasn't buying Huey's story of being abducted, took the time to exact his own personal revenge against Huey by using a magnetic device to bend one of his legs out of shape, noting that unlike the other MSF survivors, Huey never actually lost anything in the MSF attack in response to Huey's accusation that Miller was the mole due to his prior contact with Cipher. Miller and Ocelot then gave Snake, who was observing the interrogation from another room, a tape for what they have so far, and relayed that, though not much, Huey did give some useful information: Namely, XOF was primarily done in Afghanistan and went over to Africa, and that they planned to create a weapon that would surpass Metal Gear (with Snake deducing that what XOF was building was "not simply another nuke"). Huey later gave a suggestion on creating a new weapon system called Battle Gear. Venom Snake experienced a sense of déjà vu from this speech.
Despite not trusting Huey, they ultimately allowed him to work on the mech and depart,[13] although not before Ocelot whispered coldly to Huey that he only barely saved himself from the chopping block. Sometime later, Huey requested to speak with Big Boss in private, demanding to know if anyone else was listening in. Huey, who was being secretly recorded by Venom, tells him about the current state of the Les Enfant Terribles project and that Dr. Clark, who has become a recluse, took charge of the project. After the events in Africa, and learning from Code Talker that they are headed back to Afghanistan with Sahelanthropus, Miller and Ocelot utilized metallic archaea, destroying his glasses in the process, to interrogate Huey into revealing where they are headed, with his admitting that they're headed to OKB Zero, an outpost helmed by the Soviet Philosophers when they were still around. Content with the information, they then departed, although not before Ocelot sadistically placed the metallic archaea's syringe right near one of Huey's titanium legs.
Emmerich stands, using exoskeleton-assisted legs.Huey then accompanied them to Afghanistan, and after Venom Snake narrowly stopped Sahelanthropus which had been prematurely activated by Tretij Rebenok due to him being intoxicated by Eli's hatred of Venom Snake, whom he believed to be his father Big Boss, they then "paid a visit" to Skull Face, where Huey managed to kill Skull Face despite Venom Snake and Miller opting to leave Skull Face to die in agony. He then secretly repaired Sahelanthropus after it was delivered to Mother Base and also had the child soldiers, including Eli and his group, aid him in the repair work, also telling them everything about how the machine operated,[14] later claiming he thought they were just curious in how it worked. After Huey completed the Battle Gear, Miller, deciding his usefulness was expended and that he'll probably try something to Diamond Dogs, decided to investigate his role in MSF's destruction, and requested that Venom Snake go to the Soviet Central Base Camp in Afghanistan to recover The Boss AI.[15]
What they found inside the AI pod upon retrieving it was more than they bargained for: a human corpse that was relatively well preserved due to it being firmly sealed from outside air and emitting a low-grade temperature inside. Suspecting that Huey had a role in the corpse being inside, they interrogated Huey, and discovered the identity of the corpse: Strangelove[16] and also began finding holes in his story when he initially claimed no one could open it, yet then implied that someone DID seal her in. Miller recorded the interrogation session and submitted it to Snake, also notifying him of their discovery around the time Snake was at the Medical Platform of Mother Base due to Quiet being hospitalized after she risked her life to retrieve a necklace belonging to the deceased former leader of the Mbele Squad, Shabani, that had been dropped inside a vat filled with chlorine disinfectant.[16]
After Eli and the other child soldiers made off with Sahelanthropus, they investigated why it was operational again, and eventually discovered Huey's role in its repair, resulting in yet another interrogation sequence[14] where he lets slip that he had actually not only seen Hal (he had earlier claimed that Hal was been taken away from him by Skull Face before he could even see him), but also implied that he used him as a test subject for Sahelanthropus before he lost him. The interrogation was recorded on tape and sent to Venom Snake's iDroid, with Miller notifying him of Huey's role.[14]
Huey would later cause the vocal cord parasites on Mother Base to mutate by illicitly modifying X-ray scanners on the quarantine platform with a beta-ray emitter. When Diamond Dogs discovered the radiation leak resulting from the modified scanners, Huey claimed it was nothing to worry about. However, when this leak led to another parasite outbreak, forcing Snake to kill all infected soldiers, Huey's role in the affair was deduced by Miller, and proceeded to have him interrogated.[17] After finding out about Huey's role in the disaster, including causing the wolbachia to mutate in order to test a new parasite he intended sell to Cipher,[18][19] as well as for all of his previous crimes against MSF, Diamond Dogs and Strangelove, Miller and the remaining survivors all called for Huey's execution.
However, Miller decided initially to just try and find proof before convicting him and try to assemble the evidence first, after Huey begged to be spared. The Diamond Dogs staff had eventually gotten restless with having to wait, especially with their discovery of everything Huey'd been up to in addition to his role in the quarantine facility outbreak, thus forcing the Diamond Dogs to proceed with the trial ahead of schedule as well as Miller calling Venom Snake to return to base to attend to avoid a riot.[20]
After showing all the evidence they had uncovered, Miller then declared Huey "guilty, all counts", with the Diamond Dogs then demanding for his death. Venom Snake, however, decided that Huey was instead to be exiled from Mother Base via life raft. As the raft was being lowered, Huey ranted that he was innocent, the Diamond Dogs were the real murderers, and Venom Snake was the one who should be exiled. Due to his exoskeleton legs nearly causing the raft to sink, Huey was forced to discard them, leaving him unable to walk again.[12]
While Huey was in the raft, Ocelot stated that the former would one day understand the man he really was. Huey also left behind some of his research notes, and Diamond Dogs proceeded to replace him with the R&D Team to ensure his projects weren't abandoned from use by Diamond Dogs. Despite Huey's exile from the base, Miller wanted to have Huey tailed in case the scientist tried anything, but was immediately stopped by Venom Snake, telling Miller that Huey was gone and that he should finally let it go.
Later life
Huey eventually made it back to civilization and reunited with his son, Hal. He would later wed British national Julie Danziger, his second marriage at the time.[1][21] Circa 1997, Emmerich discovered that his wife was having an affair with his son, and decided to drown himself in the family pool, nearly taking his stepdaughter Emma with him.[22]Emmerich's suicide was later covered up as an accident, something his stepdaughter herself believed, although his own son knew the truth and blamed himself.[23]

When the United States sent its naval fleet to intimidate India in 1971, when the United Nations Security Council meeting was called again on December 12, 1971, Indira Gandhi led Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the Pakistani delegation and the United States representative to the United Nations.  Sent Foreign Secretary Swaran Singh to counter George Bush Sr.
Swaran Singh took a sarcasm at Pakistan and said, is Mr. Bhutto still dreaming of winning India and reaching Delhi?
In his book, The Blood Taligram, Gary Bais writes, "When Bush questioned Nixon and Kissinger's instructions about India's intentions in the war, Swarn Singh in turn asked him what the American intentions in Vietnam were."  is?
The Soviet Union saved India by vetoing the ceasefire resolution of the Security Council for the third and last time.  This upset Kinsinger so much that he threatened to cancel the summit with the Soviet Union in the next few days without asking Nixon.
Decision to send USS Enterprise to Bay of Bengal
Meanwhile, when diplomats from India, Pakistan and the US were bent on insulting each other, Nixon and Kissinger decided that they would send the US fleet to the USS Enterprise immediately towards the Bay of Bengal, on the pretext of evacuating American citizens from East Pakistan.  .
The interesting thing was that the day before, all American citizens had been evacuated from Dhaka.  The US State Department's decalcified tapes stated that 'Kissinger informed Bhutto that American warships would soon enter the Bay of Bengal from the Gulf of Malacca.
Nixon also asserted that he would continue moving towards India until an agreement was reached about the withdrawal of Indian troops.
America's seventh fleet enterprise, powered by nuclear power, included seven destroyers, a helicopter carrier USS Tripoli and an oil carrier.
It was commanded by Admiral John McCain Jr., whose son John McCain III later became Senator of Arizona and Republican candidate for President in 2008.
The author of 'Blood Telegram', Gary Bass, writes that "The American fleet was much larger than India's naval fleet."  The Enterprise laid siege to Cuba during the missile crisis.  He was at least five times larger than India's only aircraft carrier INS Vikrant.
Even Tripoli, a vessel in the Enterprise's fleet, was larger than Vikrant.  An enterprise powered by nuclear power could revolve around the world without being re-fueled.  On the other hand, Vikrant's boilers were also not working well.
Where the Soviet Union was not sitting silent on this move of America.  Admiral SM Nanda writes in his autobiography, 'The Man Who Bombed Karachi', 'In the first week of December, a destroyer and minesweeper of the Soviet Union had reached the area from the Gulf of Malacca.
The Soviet fleet remained behind the American fleet until it left the first week of January 1972.  Later, Captain Admiral Zumwalt of the Enterprise came to deliver a speech in November 1989 at the United Service Institute.
When asked what was the purpose of sending the seventh fleet to the Indian Ocean in 1971, he replied that he had not been clear what his mission was, except that perhaps America wanted to show the world that we  Friends do not hold back from assisting in times of trouble.
Admiral Zumwalt had also asked Kissinger what he would have to do if he encountered an Indian Navy vessel.  Kissinger's answer to that was that you have to decide.
Indira Gandhi summoned Admiral Nanda, after Admiral Zumwalt's speech, Admiral Nanda invited him to drinks at his home.  There Zumwalt asked him, how did you take it when you got the news of our arrival in the Bay of Bengal?
America did not intend to get entangled with the Indian Navy, amidst this outcry, Indira Gandhi addressed a huge public meeting at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan.  When Indira Gandhi's speech was going on, the aircraft of the Indian Air Force were hovering over the synagogue so that no aircraft of Pakistan would target that public meeting.
Without naming America and China in that meeting, Indira Gandhi said that some external forces are trying to threaten us, which will be given a befitting reply.  This speech was so inflammatory that later his press office removed parts of it in its written version.
Meanwhile, when Yahya Khan came to know that the seventh American fleet was moving towards the Bay of Bengal, he requested Nixon to be sent to protect Karachi.
Patrick Moynihan writes in his book 'Estranged Democracies India and the United States,' Nixon had no intention of having a naval battle, despite often suggesting that he could start a fight with India at any time.  He was using the enterprise as an excuse so that the Soviet Union could force India to ceasefire.
In private, Kissinger used to say that he had no intention of engaging militarily in this battle. 'The American name in the wake of the Vietnam War was unlikely.
On the other hand, Admiral Mihir Roy, Director of Naval Intelligence, told in a briefing given to Indira Gandhi that the seventh fleet may attack India but it is unlikely as the Vietnam War continues.  He also said that he might try to break the siege of Pakistan by the Indian Navy.
Admiral N. Krishnan, the chief of the Eastern Command of the Indian Navy, writes in his book 'No Way But Surrender', 'I was afraid that Americans might come to Chittagong.  We even thought that one of our submarines would torpedo the Enterprise ship so that the speed of that fleet would be reduced somewhat.  Later we figured out the only cure for this is that we should intensify our naval attacks on Chittagong and Cox's Bazar.
The US leaked the news of landing in East Pakistan, contrary to this, news was being leaked from the US that a task force has been created to penetrate the coasts of East Pakistan, in which three Marine battalions are asked to be prepared.  And Nixon has allowed the bombers of the enterprise to bomb Indian Army communications centers when needed.
When Indian Ambassador Laxmikant Jha asked a senior US State Department official about the possibility of US troops entering East Pakistan through the coast, he did not deny it.
The Indian ambassador was so upset by this development that he went on American television and heard the intentions of the Nixon administration, and was very bitter.
Declassified White House tapes later revealed that both Nixon and Kissinger were having a lot of fun harassing India in this way.
Kissinger said, the Indian ambassador says that he has the later evidence that we are planning to land in the Bay of Bengal.  This is a good thing for me.  Nixon added, "Yes, those people are scared of it, the decision to send a fleet is a good move."
Despite this, the American fleet remained at a distance of about 1000 km from Chittagong.  The Pentagon admitted that four or five Soviet ships were present in that area, but the Enterprise neither encountered them nor any Indian or Pakistani ships.  The Russian fleet had a destroyer, a cruiser and two offensive submarines.  And it was commanded by Admiral Vladimir Kragliakov.
Later in his book 'War Is Boring', Sebastian Robblin wrote that 'Kragliakov had said in an interview given to Russian television that if the Americans moved forward, we intended to surround them.  I was about to stand in front of the enterprise by opening the missile tube of my submarines, but this did not happen. Later two more Russian ships joined the fleet. '
The surrender turned the enterprise's stance, former Indian diplomat Arunadhathi Ghosh later said that 'in those days there were rumors circulating in Calcutta that the Americans would drop bombs there.  We used to say jokingly, let them fall. We will get a chance to make Calcutta anew on this excuse.  This time better than ever. '  Had the enterprise run non-stop, it could have reached the coast of East Pakistan on the morning of 16 December.
But a day before this, Pakistani General Niazi had sent a message to General Manekshaw that he wanted a ceasefire.  In India, it was interpreted that Pakistan was ready to surrender.  As soon as Pakistan surrendered, the enterprise turned from East Pakistan towards Sri Lanka.

Public Health Crisis: Tricky Ticks as “Ticking Time Bombs” Republic of the Congo declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. Is this not something we have heard before, and not just when it makes it to Yahoo News – “Weaponised Bugs”, this time in the form of blood sucking ticks? A recent headline reads: US military chiefs ordered to reveal if Pentagon used diseased insects as biological weapons. Alarmist? Maybe not, when we see other headlines such as: Ebola outbreak in the Democratic July 17, 2019 – WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus today declared the Ebola virus disease (EVD) outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). Ebola kills people. There was a time when huge resources were devoted to eradicating once widespread deadly diseases such as tuberculosis and cholera. That is the world most of us were brought up in. When people talk about “scientific advancement”, and how science is more important and relevant than the arts, this is what they mean. We like to think we still live in those times. So when we see a public health emergency break out, we assume that it cannot have been started deliberately but [perhaps] was merely an anomaly that slipped through the net of testing and care. We do not want to believe that it might have been started deliberately, as we then know that we could be the next victims, if someone wants it that way. But are all the billions being pumped into “health improvement” by governments doing what it says on the tin? Here is yet another in a long line of examples. You judge. Knowing too much to know anything It is not what the press release about the EVD outbreak says that is important, but rather what it does not say. Apparently this is yet another killer virus which just came out of the blue. 150 years ago, that might have happened. But we know so much about all these viruses now that the chances of this being true are very small. We can manufacture viruses more easily than we can find new ones, and disseminate them in any number of “approved” and innovative ways. In 2014 RIA Novosti caused a storm by blaming the United States for the deadly Ebola outbreak in Liberia and Sierra Leone, two of the West African countries known to host American biological warfare laboratories. The Russians would say that, wouldn’t they? I said that tongue n cheek in my last Ebola related article. But where else do you look for the source of a virus than the places which stores, work with and studies it? The 2014 allegations were supported by quoting Prof. Francis Boyle, a leading American professor and expert on international law. Boyle was responsible for drafting the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989, the American implementing legislation for the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention. Congress accepted his conclusions then, but has forgotten them ever since. As Jim Dean of Veterans Today wrote in commentary at that time, with a bit of paraphrasing, “Considering the whirlwind of Ebola stories in the international media, it is high time for world to take notice of American bio weapons programs (none so named as such) which operate under the flimsy disguise of civilian public health labs.” It was as obvious in 2014 as it is now that the bio weapons labs should come under close scrutiny. This would be a shell game run on five continents, a wild goose chase to run down what is being done and where. But so is, for example, the international narcotics trade, so do we give up investigating that? Dr. David Kelly, the British scientist who allegedly committed suicide in 2003, was one of those who went on that wild goose chase. There has still been no inquest into his mysterious death, and the verdict of suicide contradicts the known facts of the injuries he suffered and how they were inflicted. We are also told that he was “depressed” after contradicting the British government’s dossier on Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, and this led to his death. Only as an afterthought, if at all, does anyone mention that his primary role as a government scientist was to investigate the biolabs in Eastern Europe and other places, many of which the US took over from the Soviet Union. We don’t know what he found there – but we do know what happens to others who suggest things are not as they are portrayed by the US and its mainstream media lackeys. They get bricks thrown at them, have their passports take away, are illegally deprived of veteran’s benefits and have family members arrested, threatened and beaten up. We know this because the victims talk about it, and provide the proof in the form of hospital and legal records, but nothing is done by the government agencies which exist to help them. Or is this just a series of tragic accidents too? The US, not us But maybe someone is taking notice now. Better late than never, though as it not as if any of this could come as a surprise, considering the US involvement in using bio weapons and animals for experimental purposes, and the treasure trove of information it took from Japanese field trials in occupied China, where insects were indeed used, according to official records, as part of a then-evolving bio weapons programme. It is US lawmakers themselves who have voted to demand that the Pentagon discloses whether it has conducted experiments to “weaponise” disease-carrying ticks – and whether any such insects have been let loose outside the lab. A bill passed in the House of Representatives will require the Defense Department’s Inspector General to investigate whether biological warfare tests involving the tiny arachnids took place over a 25-year period (ticks are not insects). The tick-related amendment to the fiscal 2020 Defense Authorisation Bill was added by Republican Congressman Chris Smith prior to its passing. The New Jersey politician said the Inspector General’s office should “conduct a review of whether the Department of Defense experimented with ticks and other insects regarding use as a biological weapon between the years of 1950 and 1975.” That period may be too short to tell us much about what is happening now, but what may be revealed is how much of the bio weapons research was outsourced to countries like South Africa, and third world countries, when the bio weapons convention was passed in 1972, under Richard Nixon. From there, we can extrapolate many things – look at the countries the US has entered to install friendly regimes since then, and how far its sphere of influence has actually grown, and then entertain just how many have what looks suspiciously like a biological weapons lab—as in the case in Georgia, BSL3, and several other countries of the former Soviet Union and the African Continent. Blood borne and direct contact transmission via bodily fluids is associated with a high rate of virus occurrence. As in the case of the Ebola, these viruses can produce a mortality rate of up to 90%. If various experimental viruses are introduced into ticks, fleas and mosquitoes, it can potentially create an insect minefield for centuries to come, depopulating entire regions, and opening the way for resources to be exploited, with no government or population to defend what was rightfully theirs. Ask the Native American population, both in the US itself and the Southern Cone. Medicins sans raisonee What has been reported recently in the mainstream media is but the tip of the iceberg, and much of what the public is fed is mere fairy tales, like the one about eating bats being the cause of Ebola. The Ebola virus is a zoonosis, meaning an infectious agent that lives inconspicuously and innocuously within some nonhuman animal (its reservoir host). The official line is that this agent can sometimes transmit to humans, causing disease. Yes it can. But there are other causes of this transmission. After the 2014-16 Ebola outbreak which is estimated to have killed upwards of 20,000, the US Army was involved in its containment. You can see what this “containment” actually involved when you look at the title given to it: Operation United Assistance. Many still wonder why the US Army was so involved, and not the CDU or World Health Organization. Were they there to shoot the victims? Nor was it Army medical staff who were actually involved – COMBAT TROOPS, from the 101 Airborne Division. Why were engaged to deal with a threatened public health crisis, rather than doctors?! I wonder how much the US will get involved this time. Perhaps the troops’ job will be to do as the German army did in covering up the work of the death squads, the Sonderkommanders, in occupied Polish and Soviet territory, especially Ukraine, trying to make sure the bodies were burned and buried deep, and no witnesses were alive to tell the story. Or have they already done that, with Dr. David Kelly being one example? The real answers can likely be found in the existing records of the US Army, and other branches of the armed services. Perhaps soon the US Army, as was the case in South Africa with its own bio weapons programme, will have to acknowledge at least some of its dark past. Bitten where it hurts But uncomfortable questions will still remain, as discussed in Bitten, about issues such as why Lyme’s disease can be so difficult to both diagnose and treat, and why the government is so reluctant to classify chronic Lyme as a disease, and insurance companies to pay for treatment. During the time it was running a bio weapons programme in Plum Island and Fort Detrick the US military had cozy relationship with South Africa. It comes as no surprise these cozy relations with the American equivalent, and information was shared. This is one of many reasons why the Apartheid regime lasted as long as it did, despite sanctions and condemnation – one sort of moral criminal was blackmailing another over its covert programs. There are even consultants from South Africa who have regularly visited the Lugar Lab in Georgia. Naturally this is all for civilian purposes, but the same consultancy services could have been provided from most other countries, by actual medical personnel rather than US Department of Defense operatives, who still run this allegedly public and animal health facility. But it is not South African consultants who will be treating the victims of this latest Ebola outbreak but frontline medical staff – most local, naturally. They are the ones at greatest risk of cross infection. Due care should be taken for their welfare, but is the US more concerned with what they will see in the course of helping the sick, and the conclusions they will draw? In Charles Schulz’s famous comic strip Peanuts, a dialogue takes place between Linus and Charlie Brown about how abject their baseball team is. Linus reads the figures and tells Charlie Brown, “Statistics don’t lie”. Charlie Brown replies, “No, but they sure shout their mouth off a lot”. The statistics about this or that epidemic may be lies, or they may not. But whichever way you look at it, the fact that they are there at all means they are shouting their mouth off a lot, and it would be wise to listen.

Ep 9 - Tuan Nguyen
It can be said that Episode 9 is one of the most important episodes of the film, presenting extremely important political and military developments in both Vietnam and the United States during this nearly two-year period that led to the signing the Paris Agreement on January 27, 1973), The Battle of Lower Laos (Operation of Lam Son 719, March 2-3, 1971), 1972 Offensive (Easter Offensive), The anti-war movement among American veterans with John Kerry's hearing and the removal of US medals by the US veteran, Concessions of the United States in secret talks in Paris and the fact that President Thieu refused to sign the signed agreement between Kissinger and Le Duc Tho, The Pentagon Papers publication, and The bombing of Hanoi during Christmas 1972 led to the signing of the Paris Agreement.
The Lower Laos Battle was a large, corps-level, ARVN operation, with the goal of destroying some NVA bases and treasures on the HCM Trail with the focus of Tchepone town in Lower Laos. The operation was under the command of Lt. Gen. Hoang Xuan Lam, 1st Corps Commander, with the participation of several units of the best ARVN combat forces: Airborne Division, Marine Corps Division, and 1st Infantry Division. ARVN units, though having reached Tchepone and destroyed many of CSBV's treasures, were severely damaged. Episode 9 notes as follows: “Although individual ARVN units fought bravely the invasion was a failure.” “Almost half of the 17,000 South Vietnamese, who entered Laos, would be killed, wounded or captured.” When interviewed, it was Lieutenant Colonel Tran Ngoc Hue, Battalion Commander, 2/2 Battalion, 1st Infantry Division, who also spoke, and the film moved and recorded as follows: “My battalion finally was surrounded, I was wounded three times. Do you know how much my battalion survive? About 50 soldiers and men. And when we go there you know how much? About 600.” Both the GVN and the US government announced that the operation was a victory to prove that the Vietnam-South policy had been successful and that the United States could safely continue its withdrawal. President Nixon announced on television to the American people the following: “Consequently, tonight, I can report that Vietnamization has succeeded. Because of the increased strength of the South Vietnamese, because of the success of the Cambodian operation, because of the South Vietnamese operation in Laos, I am announcing an increase in the rate of American withdrawals.” Before the attack on the General Attack in 1972, on March 10, 1972, the 101st Division Although the last operational unit of the US military was withdrawn from Vietnam. So during this entire Offensive, in all three fronts, Quang Tri, Kontum, and An Loc, ARVN units fought alone; The United States only supports artillery fire. Episode 9 speaks very correctly about the importance of B-52 air raids at An Loc battlefield but does not mention much about the heroic combat and sacrifice of ARVN units at all fronts. during the duration of that General Offensive, especially in the Lam Son 72 Campaign, recapturing Quang Tri, was the bloodiest battle during the nearly 20 years of the Vietnam War; The Marine Division alone had more than 3,500 soldiers killed, and thousands were wounded.
Regarding Paris Peace, Episode 9 has faithfully presented the fact that Kissinger betrayed his Vietnamese ally in secret talks with Le Duc Tho in the following note: “At the secret talks in Paris, Kissinger had offered his North Vietnamese counterpart, Le Duc Tho, the most significant concessions that the United States had yet made: North Vietnam could keep its troops in the South—ten of thousands of them. And in exchange for the release of American prisoners of war, all American troops will be withdrawn within seven months… Thieu knew nothing about the new American concessions to Hanoi.”
Regarding The Pentagon Papers, Nixon tried to stop publishing but failed. He then ordered the Ministry of Justice to prosecute Daniel Ellsberg who had disclosed the material. At first, Nixon seemed reassured because in general, the documentary showed that the Democratic Party (Kennedy and Johnson) governments were heavily involved. But then Kissinger himself reminded him that if he did not stop everything, then his own secrets may be possible (like the campaign for Thieu not to send the delegation to the Paris Conference before the election). the president in 1968 or the case of his secret war expansion to Kampuchia) will also be exposed. He, therefore, established a group of secretive activists (which the American press gave the nickname The Plumbers) to illegally attempt to infiltrate some of the research institutions Ellsberg had worked on (like Rand. Corporation) or he thought it would be possible to keep harmful documents for him (like the Brookings Institute). Episode 9 records Nixon's conversations with his trusted partner Bob Haldeman (the full name is Harry Robbins "Bob" Haldeman) at the time the White House.

MUSLIM HISTORY LESSON FOR TODAY
By DR. NITA WEIS
In 732 A.D., the Muslim Army, which was moving on Paris, was Defeated and turned back at Tours, France, by Charles Martell.
In 1571 A.D., the Muslim Army/Navy was defeated by the Italians and Austrians as they tried to cross the Mediterranean to Attack Southern Europe in the Battle of Le Panto.
In 1683 A.D., the Turkish Muslim Army, attacking Eastern Europe, was finally Defeated in the Battle of Vienna by German and Polish Christian Armies.
This Nonsense has been going on for 1,400 years!
The SAD thing is that more than half of all Politicians do not even know any of this. If these Battles had not been Won, we would most likely be speaking Arabic. And Christianity could be Non-existent. Judaism certainly would NOT exist!
Reality check:
A lot of Americans have become so Insulated from reality that they Imagine America can suffer defeat without any inconvenience to themselves.
Think:
The following events are true historical facts. It has been many years since 1968, but History keeps repeating itself.
1.) In 1968, Robert Kennedy was Shot and Killed by a Muslim Male.
2.) In 1972, at the Munich Olympics, Israeli Athletes were Kidnapped and Massacred by Muslim Males.
3.) In 1972, a Pan Am 747 was Hijacked and eventually Diverted to Cairo where a Fuse was lit on Final Approach. Shortly after Landing, it was Blown up by Muslim Males.
4.) In 1973, a Pan Am 707 was Destroyed in Rome With 33 People Killed, when it was Attacked with Grenades by Muslim Males.
5.) In 1979, the United States Embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim Males.
6.) During the 1980s, a number of Americans were Kidnapped in Lebanon by Muslim Males.
7.) In 1983, the United States Marine Barracks in Beirut was Blown up by Muslim Males.
8.) In 1985, the Cruise Ship Achilles-Lauro was Hijacked, and a 70-year-old American Passenger was Murdered and thrown Overboard in his Wheelchair by Muslim Males.
9.) In 1985, TWA Flight 847 was Hijacked at Athens, and a United States Navy Diver, who was trying to Rescue Passengers – was murdered by Muslim Males.
10.) In 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by Muslim Males.
11.) In 1993, the World Trade Center was Bombed for the First Time by Muslim Males.
12.) In 1998, the United States Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were Bombed by Muslim Males.
13.) On 09/11/01, FOUR Airliners were Hijacked. Two of the Planes were used as Missiles to take down the World Trade Centers. One Plane Crashed into the United States Pentagon, and the other Plane was Diverted and Crashed by the Passengers. Thousands of People were Killed by Muslim Males.
14.) In 2002, the United States fought a War in Afghanistan against Muslim Males.
15.) In 2002, reporter Daniel Pearl was Kidnaped and Beheaded by you guessed it - a Muslim Male. (Plus two other American Journalists who had just recently been Beheaded.)
16.) In 2013, the Boston Marathon Bombing resulted in Four Innocent People, including a Child, being Killed and 264 other People injured by Muslim Males.
17.) In 2008 USA voted in as President a Muslim Male that we still really have no idea of who, how, or where he came from. . . All records sealed or refused to be allowed to search out. What did he do to this great country?
No, I really do not see a pattern here to Justify Profiling. Do You?
So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone - particularly Fanatics intent on Killing US - Airport Security Screeners will No longer be allowed to Profile certain People.
So, ask yourself: "Just how Stupid are we?!"
Have Americans completely lost their Minds or just their "Power of Reason?"
As the writer of the Award Winning story "Forrest Gump" so aptly put it, "Stupid is as Stupid does."
As Barack Obama said in his book: "Nothing sounds as Beautiful as the Muslim Evening Prayers from the Tower."
Now just think about the number of Muslims that are in political positions all across the U.S. They are infiltrating from within, just as they said they would do.
WAKE UP AMERICA!

War! What is it good for! APPROPRIATIONS!
Some time ago—well, thirty years ago, more or less—I read a reminiscence on the journalism biz by Michael Kinsley, recalling the words of journalistic wisdom he received as a tyro from a legendary pundit whose name I have forgotten: “Always sell the same piece at least three times.” By that standard, I’m a motherfucking journalistic genius, because this is at least my 26th posting on the subject of military spending. Well, consider yourself warned, because this is yet another ululation from this particular voice crying in the wilderness.
Donald Trump wants to boost defense spending, currently at around $700 billion, to a more Trump-like $750 billion, compared to a measly $650 billion under Barak “Pantywaist” Obama. Of course, we don’t have a war to fight, but we will soon, with John “Bomb ‘em” Bolton with his hand on the throttle. Donald says we (or rather, “he”) have averted the danger of nuclear war with North Korea? Not with Big John handling the “negotiations”, aka “non-negotiable demands”, requiring that North Korea comply with every item on the U.S. wish list (elimination of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons as well as the country’s missile program) before the U.S. will think about removing any of our numerous sanctions. Of course, there’s no way that Kim Jong-un, whose regime’s very raison d' être (and raison d’ inhuman oppression) is to defend North Korea’s socialist paradise against the American imperialists, is going to agree to that, so, hey, we don’t want to fight, but if we have to, we will!
Excuse me, but how do you tell the difference between Little Kim and Big John, except for the moustache? Both tell lies to stay in power. Both waste their nation’s treasure on useless and highly dangerous penis substitutes of every manner and hue. If media darlings Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez want to talk sense instead of trash (a pretty big if, I admit), why don’t they go seriously after defense spending, which wastes hundreds of billions of dollars a year on weapons, troop exercises, etc., which increase the chance of war instead of decreasing it, dollars that could be spent on all those domestic goodies their little hearts so fervently desire. As I’ve frequently complained, Democrats traditionally treat defense spending as “good” in its own right as high-quality pork, and equally useful as a tool for forcing Republicans to agree to higher domestic spending. This is a tradition that needs upending.
Afterwords (extensive) Newsweek runs an article citing data compiled by the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs at Brown University that puts the bill for the U.S. war on terror at close to $6 trillion in cash, along with almost 500,000 human lives. Almost all of this money, and almost all of those lives, were wasted. The Taliban government in Afghanistan deserved to be punished, and was punished, by the U.S. assault that was accomplished within a few months of the fall of the towers in New York. Most of the rest of it was spent on an entirely unnecessary, entirely duplicitous, and entirely counterproductive attempt by the U.S. to make itself the dominant power in the Middle East, to seize direct control of the world’s oil supply and to end Muslim nations’ terrorist harassment and attacks on Israel.
President Trump talks fitfully of withdrawing from the Middle East, with the massive exception of Iran, where he and Bolton seem to be longing for a punch-out. The military never wants to withdraw from anything—it’s so unmanly—but what they’re really hankering for is another Cold War—because actual shooting wars are so low-tech, plus if you get too many body bags coming back to the U.S. people start getting upset. Fortunately, the Pentagon has allies, like Bloomberg columnist Leonid Bershidsky, to sell the American people on the ever-burgeoning threat from the steppes. Leonid devotes a recent column to earnestly parsing recent speeches by both Russian and American generals, hoping to find some sort of evidence that, you know, this shit could get hairy in a hurry—though, stunningly, he fails to convince me. Leonid comes through with one speculative whopper after another, informing us with a straight face that “[i]t’s probably fair to say [Russian Chief of General Staff Valery] Gerasimov and his colleagues at the Russian defense ministry feel they have the U.S. military threat more or less under control. He said in his speech that he believes Russia is ahead of the rest of the world in weapons development, referring to the hypersonic missiles Russia has recently unveiled.”
Uh, Leonid, Russia no more has our military threat under control than we have their military threat under control. We have no missile defense system that could work against Russia’s slowest and oldest missiles. A hypersonic missile, should one such even exist, which I doubt, would not increase the risk. Furthermore, we’re spending ten times (literally) as much as the Russians on defense. Furthermore furthermore, if George W. Bush hadn’t taken the U.S. out of the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty signed back in 1972, it’s quite possible that Putin wouldn’t be bothering with all this muscle-flexing in the first place, which, as Marc. C. Johnson, writing in that damn hippie rag The National Review, explained, is only cover for a corrupt and decrepit military machine. In the case of both Russia and China (and everyone else), the U.S. constantly seeks to hold a position of complete dominance, and then sees any efforts by our “adversaries” to counter our efforts as an “existential threat”.
I’ve covered this ground before, here and here, for example, and now, as I said, for the 26th time. It makes me angry to see the same lies trotted out, over and over again, this deliberate deception by people who do know better but believe that they can’t trust the American people to make the “right” decisions, people who don’t care how much money, and how much blood, is spent, as long as they can get that sweet corner office and that sweet, sweet summer home.

STUPID AS STUPID DOES
A Refresher Course: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The war with Muslims started in the 7th Century and lasted through the 17th Century. Many will contend it never stopped; the facts below are historically correct. That is why many of us choke when we hear...we will defeat or contain these Islamic terrorists in a few years, or even "30 years" as has been stated by Leon Panetta. If the latest batch of murders, beheadings, and killing of innocent Christians has at all shocked you, it is time for you to read this compilation of historical facts about the intense hatred that Muslims have for any and all who are not Muslims. WE ARE THE STUPID In 732 A.D., the Muslim Army, which was moving on Paris, was defeated and turned back at Tours, France, by Charles Martell. In 1571 A.D., the Muslim Army/Navy was defeated by the Italians and Austrians as they tried to cross the Mediterranean to attack southern Europe in the Battle of Lepanto.
