1942 A Love Story has a great soundtrack. The cinematography of this movie is great too. The movie stars Anil Kapoor and Manisha Koiriala. Because the movie is set in the 1940′s, the outfits are cute too. But don’t be fooled by the name; this movie came out in 1994. I used to blast the soundtrack on my discman when I was a pre-teen and have very Bollywood escapist fantasies about a happy future with a lover because I grew up in an abusive household. Bollywood helped me cope.
