HELLO THERE. DO YOU LIKE 17776?! DO YOU LIKE GROUP CHAT ROLEPLAYS? Then this server may be for you! 18424 is a server about a group chat that hosts conversation between a myriad of spacecraft: the global line!

But having a group chat that exists for thousands of years…well, thats bound to breed insane and interpersonal drama! Even if the team of mods always tries to keep everything calm, things are always bound to occasionally…explode.

Featuring a plural friendly and open community, 18424 is a pretty cool place to hang out. With options to make characters that arent already existing spacecraft and characters who arent spacecraft at all! You probably should ask the mods before you do anything crazy like making a radio station pretending to be sputnik, but anything is possible! (Including the radio station thing, thats the character of the engineer who wrote this promo! Hi!)

I grow increasingly concerned for you my follower base. However id argue a fork on a fish is less of an egregious sin. When you eat a fish do you not use a fork? In that way you may not simply be tormenting the fish for no reason but instead attempting to eat it. I doubt that was your case anon and i recommend repentance in a similar manner to the previous.

HI ANON this is a pretty old ask but. hi. you get Vigil

[my very first sketch for a critter-ified Vigil below - actual ramble will be under the cut.]

So! This post will mainly be talking about the version of Vigil I have in 18424, as that's the most thought out version.

Some quick things to note:

In 18424's canon, Vigil is both one of the last satellites launched and the very first to wake up! Launched in 2029 and first waking up in 2064, Vigil had a grand total of... 35 years to develop. Most spacecraft asides from the First Fifteen to wake up had THOUSANDS of years between their launch and their wakeup - hell, even JUICE, launched in 2023, had at MINIMUM 180 years to develop, if you push it! As such, ve isn't.. "fully formed," or atleast, ve wasn't back then. This has consequences for ver - ve has a hard time focusing, occasionally experiences bouts of derealization, and more - it's not uncommon for Vigil to tune out entirely, even in the middle of a conversation ve loves!

Now, for a bit of miscellaneous stuff...

Vigil doesn't particularly care for the fact ve was the first. It doesn't feel like much of an accomplishment, and really only introduced problems for ver, so ve doesn't really acknowledge it unless others bring it up.

Ve considers Juice a pretty close friend!

Ve intentionally uses a pretty loose, informal typing style to throw people off.
