Y'all ever just vibing, having a decent weekend, and then remember the 23+ year olds that worked with your mom and knew you were still 17 still took you out, and think "damn I should've known better, what the hell was I thinking" and then remember just because you could hold your own around adults from the time you were 13 doesn't change that they were the adults in the situation.
#i dont think there was anything like.. “oh a teenager” abt it?#but looking back i wasnt the one that shouldve known better#17yo me was still dumb and a kid even if i didnt act like a kid#one of my memories on fb was pics from a concert a month before my 18th#with a guy who was almost 24 at the time#and it just didnt occur until i was 24 how weird it was#to see a 17yo and say “yep im going for that” and not someone their age#idk man#i just never looked at kids my sibs' ages and thought they were dateable?#or people now younger than them ig?#and i get it; 17/24 isnt as creepy as the 15/24 or 15/35 that you hear about#but it feels creepy looking back#and it doesnt really help that both are married w kids to women their age now
