For Fresh Bread, Starowitz created pop-up bakeries in under-used segments of Kansas City, typically identified as food deserts, and distributed homemade bread to residents of the neighborhood.

Floating Lab Collective, U.S.E.//Urban Shelter for Emergencies

U.S.E. was developed following a period of research, during which Floating Lab Collective mapped segments of the urban infrastructure. U.S.E. focuses on the prevalence of newspaper boxes and re-imagines them as serving the needs of more transient members of the community.
