The Bell & Gossett 169228 is a single-phase, half-horsepower motor specifically designed for centrifugal pumps in HVAC systems. These pumps circulate water or coolant throughout the system, playing a critical role in hydronic heating and chilled water cooling applications. The motor directly drives the pump impeller, which spins to create a pressure differential, forcing the liquid through pipes.

January update!

We hit two big milestones in January. The first was @kwillow​ finishing expression portraits for all 60-ish characters in the game! Each character has like 6+ expressions, so the total number of portraits completed is close to 400!

This represented hundreds and hundreds of hours of work, but I think she’s done a fantastic job of bringing a lot of life and personality to all these little fellas. This isn’t even everybody... you’ll have to wait to play the game to meet the rest!

Speaking of the number 400... that’s about how many pages ended up in the finished plot document! Yes, that thing I’ve been talking about for like... an entire year... is finally all done! YEEHAW!

Let me tell you, it felt really good to write the phrase “Game over, roll credits” after all this time. :] The final month of the game’s plot took a hell of a lot longer to write than expected, but in the end I was pretty happy with what I had. Also the document in its entirety 169228 words long, or the equivalent of about 2 full-length novels. So, uh, perhaps you can forgive me for taking a while on that one. :P

Anyway, I’m now in the process of cleaning it up, finalizing the details, and transcribing the plot outline into 48 Excel spreadsheets representing the different schedule patterns characters will have over the course of the game. After that, the approximate course of action is as follows:

1. Use the spreadsheets to implement the final version of the NPC schedule code 2. Finish up a few things, bundle the latest private beta up and send it to private beta testers 3. Do some more bug testing 4. Once we’re sure the latest round of changes are all stable, we’ll start putting together a public beta where you can play through the entirety of Spring of Year 1, more or less exactly how it’ll be in the final game. I plan to release that this summer.

As always, we greatly appreciate the patience you’ve had with this project! Putting together something of this scope while working full time ain’t easy, but I think it helps that this project is very much a labor of love. <3
