hello! i was wondering if i could participate in the 500 followers event? my preferred pronouns are she/they, it doesn’t really matter which one i go by. im intp, but i act differently depending on who im with. for the most part, im reserved and a very calm person. however, i get very anxious working around other people. im also someone who is almost always tired no matter what. its mainly from overworking and its something thats hard for me to prevent. thank you and have a good day/night!

chuuya headcanons coming up:

i get the feeling that what draws chuuya to you is not your looks or your background (although, of course, they are both beautiful and interesting!) but instead the aura you give off. something about you settles him, and he hasn't figured out why but he really enjoys your company for that.

granted, knowing you are typically a reserved and calm person, at the beginning of your friendship/relationship chuuya can't for the life of him figure out when's the best time to let out his "fire". he doesn't want to overwhelm you, after all. it takes months for him to slowly "introduce" that side of him to you- his fiery love for cars, his want to go racing in his motorcycle, even his life as a member of the port mafia. when he realizes you are fine and accepting of all that despite your own more reticent demeanor.

chuuya is quick to figure out your anxiety. he takes his time getting to know you and introducing himself to you, so whenever someone new steps into your space and chuuya is there, he can quickly tune in on the fact that you can get uncomfortable. chuuya's always a good shield to rely on during those times.

alternately, chuuya loves talking to you! i feel like little sit-downs to just talk are pretty common for the two of you. he just really enjoys conversations with you, he feels like there's always something new he can learn from talking to you, no matter how small a nugget of new information it is. he loves when you dive into the things you are passionate about.

although you may have a tendency to view yourself rather plainly, near functionally as a person, leaning towards your work and your calmness, chuuya always finds something about you that he finds exciting, and it always surprises you when he does. could be anything, really! the way you do your hair is a little different? he's all over it. cook something that's not so common? let him have a taste! you've got an opinion on something that's rather… spicy? oh, he's all about hearing it. he sees you in a light that you don't quite often see, and he's always your hype man even in the littlest things.

chuuya doesn't like seeing you tired. you've told him over and over again that it's just how your lifestyle tends to reflect onto your body, and how unpreventable it is, but he's not having one bit of that! whatever is stopping you from getting adequate rest- whether that's school or work or even your hobbies- he's definitely putting his foot down and doing something about it. no, he's not beyond asking you to quit your work. if there's literally anything that'll make your schoolwork a little easier to do- a doctor's note giving you a day off, a gadget that'll make it more efficient to take notes- he's getting it for you. and he's not only referring to sleep kind of rest, too: he's going to tuck you in personally and make sure you get ALL the kinds of rest you need, physical, mental, social, creative… name it. and yes, he will do this on the regular, as often as he will have to.

related to that, your dates with chuuya tend to be more relaxing in nature. he just doesn't want to strain your already exhausted self any longer, so it's always something refrsehing and not draining. a picnic by the riverside, a walk around the aquarium, a spa day... he loves spending time with you slowing down and it means a lot to him when you enjoy it as well.

now, chuuya understands how much you might value your alone time. and he respects that- he has to have his own little me moments too. but he sure isn't just stepping aside! this is still related to your tiredness issue but whenever you can sneak some time alone chuuya will always go the extra mile to make sure you have the most pleasant experience you can. candles, soft freshly baked cookies... whatever it is that tickles your fancy. then he'll give you a little kiss on the forehead and leave you until you're ready for him again.

i feel like chuuya would love you as a partner because of the calmness you bring him- there's always so much hectic stuff going on in the port mafia, and to come home to someone that makes him feel like he's taking a deep refreshing breath of mountain air is the best he can ask for.
