I would play with my Barbies and go into this world of fantasy. I was safe there. I never felt like it could be a career until I got to high school. When I got on the stage the first time for a school production and heard that applause I knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I had always done things with video cameras growing up and my father. The advice I would give to other women is stay strong in your convictions don't be afraid to act like a bitch when you need to. My defining moment came when I had just had a baby and had ended my relationship with his father and I knew that I could not pursue my acting career in LA with a brand-new baby. So I decided to take the time to write my first script. I just want to try it out to see if there was another avenue I couldn't reach my goals in. It was in that moment I decided to take control of my life and not just be an actor but be the writer, producer, the director and always have a job. And the money lol! . . .
