Week 51.2/52: December 19th - December 25th 2022 | Christmas Trees! 🎄

Every year I go on a Christmas tree hunt aka I go around downtown to take photos of the trees in the hotels (surprisingly have never gotten kicked out of places but ya lol). This year I saw on XHS that Rosewood Hotel has super pretty decorations so of course I just zoomed there. It is the prettiest Christmas set up I have EVER seen!!!!! There were actually two people sitting on the couch next to the tree while I took these... so awkward LMAO especially when the man said “nice pose” lol...... he’s an old man LOL so not as creepy as it sounds but still.. wtf.... After Rosewood Hotel, I had to go to McArthurGlen Outlet to pick up bf’s Christmas gift so I did that and then took a photo with the giant tree in there. There are so many cute decorations at the outlet - worth the visit during holiday season. 

Did I mention HOW COLD IT WAS ON THIS DAY?????? NEVER AGAIN!

Sunday,

Nothing really happened, I just finished reading the ballad of songbirds and snakes once again and I can still feel that the betrayal that Coryo experience is well deserved and I am still clouded on what had happened to Lucy. And wondering what did Tigris must have felt when she found out. I am excited for the film but I am not in the story its heartbreaking.

Sunday goes as normal. Me laying on the bed, watching a film, listening to music that no one will ever want to hear, and dancing to a song I must have played a million times.

Just had a realization about Fairly OddParents: New Wish’s finale:

It’s centered around Hazel wishing her millionth wish but- a million is A LOT. Like A LOT A LOT

If we’re being generous and say Hazel has had Cosmo and Wanda for a whole year, 365 days, she would have to have made 2,739.7 WISHES EVERYDAY

Hazel rarely makes wishes! That’s what makes her different and a pretty interesting protagonist for this franchise, she tries to be independent and solve problems on her own. She makes like, 2 wish per episode, one main wish and one to undo the damages, maybe like 8 wishes if she wants to keep an act up like at Hotel Wellsington. She often goes about her everyday without making a wish! How is she averaging 2,700 wishes a day?? That’s 112 wishes per hour! 2 wishes for every minute of a year!

If it was Dev, yeah I can believe that. He keeps repeating wishes and would ask for magic to help with everything, I can see him wish bombing and knocking out 500 wishes in an hour (8 wishes/min). But Hazel? I feel like she’d feel bad asking for so much.

While I get why they didn’t go for the ‘keeping your fairies a secret for a whole year, here’s a muffin that grants any wish’ since they haven’t gotten to do a Christmas, Halloween, Easter or Hazel’s birthday episode yet. But that just makes thinking about the logistics of Hazel making 1,000,000 wishes all the more baffling.

It took Timmy years to reach 1,000,000 wishes (Poof existed when Timmy hit a million) and he wished willy nilly! Thats not even mentioning the whole million wish thing came from Timmy’s Secret Wish, aka the episode where it’s revealed Timmy wished for time to stay still for 50 years. It took Timmy more than 50 years to get a million. And it took Hazel a year or less???

Can Hazel reach almost a million wish?

Context: we (me and sis) are calculating on how the million wishes be possible, cause my sister thinking about it.

Here's the calculation:

the number of days in a year is 365, and for leap year it's 366. making it impossible if it's a wish per day, to calculate on how many wishes are needed to reach a million before a year to see if it can be possible in what way. Yes, we know the show's timeline of each episodes are weeks apart, making the whole show last around 5 months max (152.084 days), story wise.

If Hazel wishes 2,710 times a day she can reach it a whole year. She would make ~112 wishes per hour.

A normal person speaks 120-150 words per minute.

As for Timmy, he reached around 50 years (18,262.5 days) to have his wishes to a million based on Timmy's Secret Wish!, he probably make 54.757 wishes per day.

The only possible way for Hazel to reach a million is by rapping all in her sleep wishes.

if anyone wonder if you wish on a daily to reach a million wishes it will take you ~2,740 years to accomplish it.

Still in an art rut so I calculated all their birthdays on the Gregorian Calendar under the read more for those that like to draw their favorite characters on their birthdays.

Also the math isn't perfect so I will list all the flaws in the data and my own calculations at the end but I am pretty confident in what I have managed to achieve so far. The fat chunk of text at the end is by no means required reading but may answer some questions that may arise.

There's a random gaming article that lists it as Spring 25(May18-20 Taurus) but I do not trust any of them to do their jobs right honestly.
