Today is the 10 year anniversary of my first ever trip, way back in 2008, when I was young and shy and had barely been anywhere. That trip was amazing, Trek America Trailblazer - 64 days in USA and Canada (mostly camping!) and the travel bug got me bad... A decade on and I've given up jobs to travel, taken out loans, I don't own a house or have a career...but I've been to 46 countries (48 by the end of the year), I've been to 6 of the 7 continents, 7 of the 8 new wonders of the world, seen some incredible things, eaten some fantastic food and met some truly brilliant people 😊

Life never takes you where you expect, so while I'm still here and still able - I'm gonna keep on trekking around this wonderful planet we call home ✌️

10 years ago today I was starting an amazing experience that will change my life forever. I moved to South Korea to do my Master’s in International Development Cooperation at Yonsei University. Only 2 days after I passed my Journalism and Political Sciences final exams. I was supposed to be away from home only for 4 years, but 10 years passed and I’m still traveling the world...and want to keep with my wanderlust all what I can! My time in Korea was incredibly surreal. I fall in love with the unknown and with challenging myself. I learnt the language, to love their food, to move around the city, tell the taxi where to go, most importantly; I made friends for life and travel all around Asia.
