This weeks TGIF round up is a bittersweet mix of happy, sad and winning! I’m winning because Mr F and I both had our first COVID-19 jabs yesterday, we spent about an hour sat in the car park waiting between appointments, luckily I had my 10 stitch crochet scrap blanket to keep me happy, whilst Himself had a picnic of cheese and biscuits! So many thanks to @yorkshireeventcentre for the brilliant organisation and for the fabulous staff and needle wielding crew! Very excited today as I have an order from @deramores arriving with more @kingcoleltd Riot and their Mother’s Day special deal on yarn! My scrap busting 10 stitch blanket is now a major project 🤣 Just going to remind you about @joannehawker #marchmeetthemaker2021 insta event. It really is a fab event to join, you get to discover new creators and makers, I’ve found new accounts to drool over, it’s networking made easy and the prompts are fun and inspiring to do. Finally our family have the Coroners toxicology results for our boy @joeymcribb it’s not pretty, it was a grim mix of drugs and alcohol that killed him. Please please please folks try your hardest to fight the #Drug battle, I know it’s difficult but please please try! I am One very sad Mum, mourning daily the loss of my much loved beautiful son. I miss him so very much, my body screams for him, I ache to touch him, hold him, talk with him, make my risotto for him. The pain is unbearable, I would give my life to give him longer life!
